Nuclear symmetry energy at work in heavy ion reactions: new results from the INDRA-FAZIA apparatus
The recently coupled INDRA-FAZIA apparatus offers unique opportunities to investigate heavy ion collisions at Fermi energies by combining the optimal identification capabilities of FAZIA and the large angular coverage of INDRA. We present a selection of the results of the analysis of the first experimental campaign performed with INDRA-FAZIA, in which the four reactions Ni-58,Ni-64+Ni-58,Ni-64 have been studied at two different beam energies (32 and 52 MeV/nucleon) in the intermediate energy regime. The present work is focused on the isospin diffusion effects in semiperipheral and peripheral collisions. A stronger isospin equilibration is found at 32 MeV/nucleon than at 52 MeV/nucleon, as expected due to a shorter projectile-target interaction time in the latter cas
First results from the INDRA-FAZIA apparatus on isospin diffusion in 58,64 Ni+58,64 Ni systems at Fermi energies
An investigation of the isospin equilibration process in the reactions 58;64Ni+58;64Ni at two bombarding
energies in the Fermi regime (32 MeV/nucleon and 52 MeV/nucleon) is presented. Data
have been acquired during the first experimental campaign of the coupled INDRA-FAZIA apparatus
in GANIL. Selecting from peripheral to semi-central collisions, both the neutron content of the
quasiprojectile residue and that of the light ejectiles coming from the quasiprojectile evaporation
have been used as probes of the dynamical process of isospin diffusion between projectile and target
for the asymmetric systems. The isospin transport ratio technique has been employed. The relaxation
of the initial isospin imbalance with increasing centrality has been clearly evidenced. The
isospin equilibration appears stronger for the reactions at 32 MeV/nucleon, as expected due to the
longer projectile-target interaction time than at 52 MeV/nucleon. Coherent indications of isospin
equilibration come from the quasiprojectile residue characteristics and from particles ascribed to
the quasiprojectile decay.This work was partially supported by the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF;

Modelo de cálculo de capital económico por riesgo de crédito para portafolios de créditos a personas fÃsicas
This paper discusses a new methodology to estimate the economic capital by credit risk for a retail portfolio based on the general concepts of copula and dependence measures as well as some core results of the Extreme Value Theory (EVT). The superiority of the proposed approach over the traditional estimation techniques is demonstrated in the application of Elliptical Generalized copulas and Grouped copulas of the t Student type to model the dependence structure of the risk parameters PD, EAD and LGD. Furthermore, the POT method is used to analyze the extreme losses behavior.Capital Económico, Riesgo de Crédito, Cópulas, Valores Extremos
Generating Multimode Entangled Microwaves with a Superconducting Parametric Cavity
In this Letter, we demonstrate the generation of multimode entangled states
of propagating microwaves. The entangled states are generated by parametrically
pumping a multimode superconducting cavity. By combining different pump
frequencies, applied simultaneously to the device, we can produce different
entanglement structures in a programable fashion. The Gaussian output states
are fully characterized by measuring the full covariance matrices of the modes.
The covariance matrices are absolutely calibrated using an in situ microwave
calibration source, a shot noise tunnel junction. Applying a variety of
entanglement measures, we demonstrate both full inseparability and genuine
tripartite entanglement of the states. Our method is easily extensible to more
modes.Comment: 5 pages, 1 figures, 1 tabl
Effectiveness of a Multifactorial Intervention in the First 1000 Days of Life to Prevent Obesity and Overweight in Childhood: Study Protoco
(1) Background: Obesity is a global health problem, and its prevention must be a priority goal of public health, especially considering the seriousness of the problem among children. It is known that fetal and early postnatal environments may favor the appearance of obesity in later life. In recent years, the impact of the programs to prevent obesity in childhood has been scarce. The aim of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of an intervention based on the concept of early programming. (2) Methods: Non-randomized controlled trial design. Inclusion criteria are: two-year-old infants whose gestational period begins in the 14 months following the start of the intervention, and whose mothers have made the complete follow-up of their pregnancy in the same clinical unit of the study. The intervention will be developed over all the known factors that affect early programming, during pregnancy up to 2 years of life. Data will be collected through a data collection sheet by the paediatricians. A unibivariate and multivariate analysis of the data will be carried out. (3) Ethics and dissemination: The trial does not involve any risk to participants and their offspring. Signed informed consent is obtained from all participants. Ethical approval has been obtained. (4) Results: It is expected that this study will provide evidence on the importance of the prevention of obesity from the critical period of the first 1000 days of life, being able to establish this as a standard intervention in primary care
The objective of this study is to know the relation that different clinical, surgical and determined haemostatic factors maintain befote a surgical operation with the presence and charasteristics of the postoperative vein trombosis (VT). Financial Education from school age - analysis in small Municipalities in Colombia / Educação financeira desde a idade escolar - análise em pequenos MunicÃpios da Colômbia
Financial education is an aspect that has acquired great importance in the economic development of countries, and its inclusion in basic and secondary education programs can bring benefits to the society and the economy of a country. This being the case, the financial education should not be an option but a necessary condition in the training processes, even more because we are facing generations that think in a different way, whose priorities have changed compared to those of previous generations. The measurement of the level of competences in finance has acquired such importance that different organizations such as S&P or the OECD have developed instruments for this purpose. Colombia shows a low level of development in these measurements, a fact that justifies this research with which it is sought to establish the real level of basic knowledge in finance on the part of students who are about to graduate from high scholl and enroll higher education or be integrated into the labor world, in the municipalities of ChÃa and Sopó, near Bogotá, capital of Colombia
Xylan-binding xylanase Xyl30 from Streptomyces avermitilis: cloning, characterization, and overproduction in solid-state fermentation
A DNA fragment from the lignocellulolytic actinomycete Streptomyces avermitilis CECT 3339 was cloned using a DNA probe from the xylanase gene xysA of Streptomyces halstedii. The nucleotide sequence analysis revealed two potential ORFs, xyl30 and hd30, encoding a deduced multimodular F/10 xylanase with a binding domain and a secreted glycoxyl hydrolase, respectively. In Streptomyces lividans carrying the subcloned DNA fragment, two xylanase activity bands with estimated molecular masses of 42.8 and 35 kDa (named Xyl30 forms "h" and "l", respectively), were detected by zymograms and SDS-PAGE. The two xylanases had identical N-terminal sequences, suggesting that Xyl30 "l" derived from Xyl30 "h" by C-terminal processing in the culture supernatant. No transcripts of hd30 were detected by RT-PCR. Characterization of the partially purified Xyl30 "h" confirmed the presence of a modular endoxylanase containing a xylan-binding domain, which after processing in the culture supernatant loses the aforementioned domain and thus its capacity to bind xylan (Xyl30 "l"). Xyl30 "h" achieved maximal activity at pH 7.5 and 60 degrees C, retaining more than 50% of its activity from pH 3 to 9 and more than 40% after a 1-h incubation at 70 masculineC. Moreover, in the recombinant host strain up to 400 U xylanase/g medium (dry weight) was produced in solid-state fermentation (SSF) using cereal bran as substrate. The high production yields of this enzyme and its biochemical features make it a good candidate for use in industrial applications
SOPHIE velocimetry of Kepler transit candidates XVI. Tomographic measurement of the low obliquity of KOI-12b, a warm Jupiter transiting a fast rotator
We present the detection and characterization of the transiting warm Jupiter
KOI-12b, first identified with Kepler with an orbital period of 17.86 days. We
combine the analysis of Kepler photometry with Doppler spectroscopy and
line-profile tomography of time-series spectra obtained with the SOPHIE
spectrograph to establish its planetary nature and derive its properties. To
derive reliable estimates for the uncertainties on the tomographic model
parameters, we devised an empirical method to calculate statistically
independent error bars on the time-series spectra. KOI-12b has a radius of
1.430.13 and a 3 upper mass limit of
10. It orbits a fast-rotating star (sin =
60.00.9 km s) with mass and radius of 1.450.09
and 1.630.15 , located at 42640 pc
from the Earth. Doppler tomography allowed a higher precision on the obliquity
to be reached by comparison with the analysis of the Rossiter-McLaughlin radial
velocity anomaly, and we found that KOI-12b lies on a prograde, slightly
misaligned orbit with a low sky-projected obliquity =
12.6. The properties of this planetary system,
with a 11.4 magnitude host-star, make of KOI-12b a precious target for future
atmospheric characterization.Comment: 19 pages, 10 figure
