In the classroom, the reading and writing processes are privileged, without taking oral processes into account, hence the need to generate updating spaces and teacher training in educational institutions to advance in the inclusion of strategies to overcome the conception that the teaching of orality is merely communicative, in order to be able to speak of a learning of orality within specific objectives of formality. This document gives an account of a qualitative research that inquired about the implicit conceptions that teachers have about formal oral language teaching practices, based on a case study in two public institutions of Bogotá. Through non-participant class observations and in-depth interviews, pedagogical practices focused on the teaching of orality were investigated in two teachers of cycle II language. The results of this study were analyzed from three categories: orality, conceptions and teaching practices, which emerged from the reading of the context of the public institutions in which the research was carried out; finding the predominance of the implicit conceptions on the explicit ones, being these of pedagogical, didactic and epistemological type, respectively.Magíster en EducaciónMaestrí
Functional similarity and competitive symmetry control productivity in mixtures of Mediterranean perennial grasses
Competition is a major factor structuring plant communities and controlling their productivity. The functional similarity between the interacting species and the context resource availability are assumed to be most critical factors that modulate the strength, sign, and outcome of plant competition, yet their roles and interactions are subjected to debate. In a glasshouse experiment, we constructed monocultures and bi-specific cultures of three common perennial grasses of Mediterranean drylands, the short grass Brachypodium retusum and the tussock grasses Stipa tenacissima and Lygeum spartum, and investigated how the functional similarity between these species modulate their interactions and culture productivity under contrasting levels of water availability. Regardless the degree of functional similarity between the interacting species, B. retusum consistently exhibited a greater competitive ability than the other two species, followed by L. spartum, and with S. tenacissima behaving as the weakest competitor. Bi-specific cultures of B. retusum and either L. spartum or S. tenacissima produced higher biomass than the average biomass of the respective monocultures (i.e. overyielding), whereas the combination of the most similar species, L. spartum—S. tenacissima, which exhibited the highest competition symmetry (i.e., the more similar mutual impact), did not show any significant overyielding. Higher water availability increased productivity and promoted transgressive overyielding for the most dissimilar species, B. retusum and L. spartum, which however exhibited intermediate competition asymmetry. This study calls attention to the thin line between differences in functional traits and competition asymmetry that could eventually lead to either competitive exclusion or resource partitioning and coexistence. This study was financially supported by the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities (http://www.ciencia.gob.es/) through the projects DRYEX (CGL2014-59074-R) and DRYEX2 (CGL2017-89804-R). Ocurrence of Toxocara canis in Students of Veterinary and Graphic Design in a Mexican University
Background: Human toxocariosis is a parasitic zoonosis caused by larval forms of the genus Toxocara. The eggs hatch after being ingested, penetrate the intestinal wall and migrate via the blood stream through to the liver, hence spread to other organs. Erratic larval migration by the different soft tissues in humans, generates four syndromes, Visceral Larva Migrans, Ocular Larva Migrans, neurotoxocariosis and covert toxocariosis. A seroprevalence study of Toxocara canis among students from Veterinary Medicine and Graphic Design in Mexico City was conducted, as the Veterinary student has regular contact with animals was compared with students who have no contact with animals in their study program. Materials, Methods & Results: In both groups of students blood samples were collected and centrifuged to obtain the serum was evaluated by Toxocara serology ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay). All participants completed a questionnaire supplying personal data and specifics regarding dog ownership and hygiene practices. Serology data and results from the questionnaire were analyzed using the Fisher´s exact test, Chi-square and odds ratio (OR) test. The frequency of Toxocara infection tended to be greater (P = 0.11) in veterinary students than in those from graphic design (13 % and 7.0 % respectively). Some of the risk factors that were considered were: do not wash your hands after eating, frequent contact with dogs, has dog at home, eating on the street and dewormed your dog, neither factor was associated nor were risk factors for Toxocara antibodies present. Discussion: The fact that almost twice as many veterinary students were seropositive indicates a higher risk of Toxocara canis infection in those individuals, which may be due to veterinary students having greater contact with sources of infection (animals, feces, soil, hair, and farms), regardless of the ownership of dogs. In a study in Canada researchers found no differences among veterinarians and other professionals in anti-Toxocara antibodies, finding similar values (8.8% and 9.6% respectively) in both, and also found no association between dog ownership and anti-Toxocara antibodies a study in Austria found that veterinarians were the second occupational groups that had more antibodies (27%) compared to the control group (2%) and the main source of infection was identified as cats and dogs. Many studies have shown that risk factors are very important in the epidemiology of toxocariosis, primarily the presence of dogs and cats living together with people. It has been reported higher infection in individuals who were in contact with dogs. In several cities of Mexico, highest percentages of dogs infested with Toxocara were reported, with a mean of 35.5% and a range from 19.0 to 63.36%. It has been reported up to 100% of stray puppies can be contaminated with Toxocara in samples collected from dorsal and perianal hair which constitutes a great potential of infection considered that 94% of the Toxocara eggs were embrionated. Other studies show less contamination of hair with eggs of T. canis (40.9%) but still shows the importance as a potential source of infection for humans. Eating in the street or poor hygiene before eating were not factors related to the disease. Although no association was found with the lack hand washing and Toxocara, other researchers have identified this problem as a risk factor associated with Toxocara. It can be assumed that depending on the degree of contamination by Toxocara exposed to each individual, the hygiene practices may have different impact on the presence of the parasite. The results indicate that veterinary students are more prone to infection with Toxocara

Objective: To assess the impact of the first months of application of a Code Sepsis in a high complexity hospital, analyzing patient´s epidemiological and clinical characteristics and prognostic factors.
Methods: A long-term observational study was carried out throughout a consecutive period of seven months (February 2015 - September 2015). The relationship with mortality of risk factors, and analytic values was analyzed using uni- and multivariate analyses.
Results: A total of 237 patients were included. The in-hospital mortality was 24% at 30 days and 27% at 60 days. The mortality of patients admitted to Critical Care Units was 30%. Significant differences were found between the patients who died and those who survived in mean levels of creatinine (2.30 vs 1.46 mg/dL, p 65 years (OR 5.33, p 3 mmol/L (OR 5,85, p 1,2 mgr /dL (OR 4,54, p <0,05) and shock (OR 6,57, P <0,05).
Conclusions: The epidemiological, clinical and mortality characteristics of the patients in our series are similar to the best published in the literature. The study has identified several markers that could be useful at a local level to estimate risk of death in septic patients. Studies like this one are necessary to make improvements in the Code Sepsis programsObjetivo.
5,33, p 3 mmol/L (OR 5,85, p <0,05),
creatinina > 1,2 mgr/dL (OR 4,54, p <0,05) y el shock (OR 6,57,
P <0,05).
Modelling the predictable effects of dietary lipid sources on the fillet fatty acid composition of one-year-old gilthead sea bream (Sparus aurata L.)
The present study aimed to ascertain the different fatty acid (FA) descriptors linking dietary and muscle FA composition in one-year-old gilthead sea bream. For that purpose, our own published data along with additional data from the present study were compiled and analysed. High linear correlations (r2 = 0.90, P < 0.001) between dietary and muscle fatty acid composition were reported for monoenes, C18 polyunsaturated FA (PUFA) and long-chain PUFA. Prediction deviations due to changes in muscle fatness were analyzed in an independent trial with two different feeding levels (full ration size, 30% restriction ration). Regardless of feeding regimen, predicted values for muscle FA at low concentrations deviated (P < 0.001) from observed values, but good predictions with less than 6% deviations were found for abundant fatty acids (16:1n-7, 18:1n-9, 18:2n-6, 18:3n-3, 20:4n-6, 20:5n-3, 22:6n-3). All this highlights the predictable effects of dietary oils in the muscle FA composition of gilthead sea bream, although further research is needed to cover all the range of commercial fish size and for the up-scaling of laboratory results to different fish farming conditions

Violation of the right to defense by reversing the burden of proof in the crime of reception. Analysis of judgment No.14-15-CN/19 of the Constitutional Court of Ecuador
Sinus bradycardia also known as a cardiac arrhythmia, can occur for different reasons such as changes in the generation of the most common clinical impulse of the sinus node, by changes in the transmission of the same at different points of the specific conduction system, can be for physiological or pathological reasons, usually bradycardias occur when electrical impulses are reduced or stopped for moments and heart rate affects the generation or conduction of abnormal impulses, causing the heart to beat < 60 beats per minute. This abnormality may be due to benign causes, however, it requires monitoring by a specialist, as too low a heart rate may reveal other problems that do cause danger to health, In clinical practice, people over 65 years of age and young athletes of both sexes are known to have sinus bradycardia. In this article we examined sinus bradycardia in a patient with a history of Wolf parkinson White with a history of sinus bradycardia following ablation, allowing us to describe the pathology of sinus bradycardia, its symptomatology, diagnosis and treatment applied by performing systematic searches in Pubmed and Scopus, with the data obtained we designed, described and analyzed the pathology, as well as compared it with other studies. The development of the clinical case allowed us to describe the pathology of sinus bradycardia, its symptomatology, diagnosis and treatment used. In a patient with the diagnosis of Wolf parkinson White with a history of sinus bradycardia after advancing her age since she is currently 44 years old, we were able to observe that the treatment does not always direct us initially to the use of drugs, and also understand that having patients with bradycardia will not always be for physiological reasons so we should act according to their needs and with knowledge cleared as much as possible.
