    Dinamika Pertukaran Partikel Pada Interaksi Nukleon-Nukleon Dalam Potensial Lokal

    Telah dilakukan penelitian interaksi dua nukleon berupa proton dan neutron sebagai sistem yang terikat dalam potensial lokal, yang dikenal sebagai deuteron, yang mana telah dihasilkan suatu formulasi matematis berupa dua persamaan diferensial tergandeng dan beberapa nilai besaran statik sebagai akibat interaksi proton dan neutron. Interaksi dua nukleon tersebut melalui medan potensial inti akan menghasilkan gaya inti yang mana gaya di antara nukleon- nukleon tersebut dihasilkan oleh pertukaran meson. Salah satu dari anggota kelompok partikel meson adalah pion. Pion dapat bermuatan (π+ ,π- ) atau netral π0 . Bentuk potensial interaksi yang paling sederhana adalah potensial pertukaran satu-pion (OPEP), yang mempunyai gayut radial dari potensial Yukawa. Dalam penelitian ini, langkah awal yang ditempuh adalah melakukan diskretisasi terhadap ungkapan potensial OPEP yang tergandeng dengan persamaan syarat batas akibat pengaruh jarak interaksi yang diperoleh dari analisa teoretik. Langkah selanjutnya adalah mengimplementasikan suatu teknik pemrograman untuk mendapatkan nilai yang terkait dengan pengaruh potensial OPEP dalam deuteron, yaitu berupa besaran-besaran statik deuteron, yaitu jarak terjadinya pertukaran pion, dan perkiraan massa pion yang terlibat dalam interaksi ini.     A Review of Supercapacitors: Materials Design, Modification, and Applications

Available on open access from MDPI via the DOI in this recordSupercapacitors (SCs) have received much interest due to their enhanced electrochemical performance, superior cycling life, excellent specific power, and fast charging–discharging rate. The energy density of SCs is comparable to batteries; however, their power density and cyclability are higher by several orders of magnitude relative to batteries, making them a flexible and compromis-ing energy storage alternative, provided a proper design and efficient materials are used. This review emphasizes various types of SCs, such as electrochemical double-layer capacitors, hybrid su-percapacitors, and pseudo-supercapacitors. Furthermore, various synthesis strategies, including sol-gel, electro-polymerization, hydrothermal, co-precipitation, chemical vapor deposition, direct coating, vacuum filtration, de-alloying, microwave auxiliary, in situ polymerization, electro-spin-ning, silar, carbonization, dipping, and drying methods, are discussed. Furthermore, various func-tionalizations of SC electrode materials are summarized. In addition to their potential applications, brief insights into the recent advances and associated problems are provided, along with conclu-sions.     Review and analysis of fire and explosion accidents in maritime transportation

    The globally expanding shipping industry has several hazards such as collision, capsizing, foundering, grounding, stranding, fire, and explosion. Accidents are often caused by more than one contributing factor through complex interaction. It is crucial to identify root causes and their interactions to prevent and understand such accidents. This study presents a detailed review and analysis of fire and explosion accidents that occurred in the maritimetransportation industry during 1990–2015. The underlying causes of fire and explosion accidents are identified and analysed. This study also reviewed potential preventative measures to prevent such accidents. Additionally, this study compares properties of alternative fuels and analyses their effectiveness in mitigating fire and explosionhazards. It is observed that Cryogenic Natural Gas (CrNG), Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and methanol have properties more suitable than traditional fuels in mitigating fire risk and appropriate management of their hazards could make them a safer option to traditional fuels. However, for commercial use at this stage, there exist several uncertainties due to inadequate studies, and technological immaturity. This study provides an insight into fire and explosion accident causation and prevention, including the prospect of using alternative fuels for mitigating fire and explosion risks in maritime transportation

It is known ([1]) that BG k ' Map k (S 4 ; BSU(2)), where Map k (S 4 ; BSU(2)) is the connected component of Map(S 4 ; BSU(2)) including the map inducing P k . In this paper we will show the following result. Let BG k(p) denote the BG k localized at a prime p. Theorem 1.1. The following four conditions are equivalent. 1. jkj = jlj 2. G k ¸ = G l 3. BG k ' BG l 4. BG k(p) ' BG l(p) for any prime p. Remark 1.2. In the case of based gauge groups, G 3 k ¸ = G 3 0 and BG 3 k ' BG 3 0 . Remark 1.3.     BSU Project Compass is a multi-year grant-funded project focusing on improving retention and graduation rates for students of color, first-generation college, and low-income students. Through a data-driven, targeted approach, BSU Project Compass aims to increase academic and co-curricular support; develop an integrated advising process around engaged student learning to be documented in a formal portfolio; expand and improve faculty/librarian and staff development regarding culturally inclusive pedagogies and practice; improve strategies for advising in the majors; and improve data collection and analysis to continually assess intervention strategies. Five posters will summarize strategies used to meet these goals; the findings to date regarding the effectiveness of these strategies; and questions we have moving forward as we enter the last year of grant funding. The BSU Project Compass Community of Practice welcomes the opportunity to hear feedback about our work and discuss ways we can collaborate even more effectively with our colleagues campus-wide

    Simulasi Numerik Konfigurasi Vorteks pada Superkonduktor Berdasarkan Model Ginzburg Landau

    Telah dilakukan penyelidikan tentang terbentuknya konfigurasi vorteks di dalam superkonduktor mesoscopic berlandaskan pada model Ginzburg-Landau. Vorteks adalah filamen-filemen berukuran kecil yang terbentuk akibat pengenaan medan magnet luar H pada bahan superkonduktor jenis ke-II dalam ranah Hc1<H<Hc2. Akibat munculnya vorteks tersebut, maka terjadi terobosan parsial fluks magnet pada bahan. Untuk memperoleh konfigurasi vorteks pada superkonduktor jenis ke-II akibat pengenaan medan magnet luar H, langkah yang dilakukan adalah meminimisasi ungkapan fungsiona Ginzburg-Landau yang diwakili oleh beda rapat tenaga Gibbs antara keadaan superkonduktif bahan dengan keadaan normalnya. Hasil minimisasi terhadap fungsional beda rapat energi bebas Gibbs menghasilkan distribusi parameter benahan dalam bahan superkonduktor. Distribusi parameter benahan ini menunjukkan munculnya konfigurasi vorteks di dalam bahan
