Trabalho e sobrevivência - o mundo da vida sob ameaça: racionalidade ou irracionalidade?

A condução da vida por uma racionalidade capitalista-instrumental é o tema aqui discutido sob o prisma de reconhecê-la em manifestações da vida, sem desconhecer o quanto afeta o chamado mundo do trabalho. A subjetividade comprometida do trabalhador nesse processo é um dos seus maiores efeitos. A construção do texto resgata as idéias weberianas sobre um processo racional-instrumental que absorve a vida moderna, apresentando, em seguida, o novo paradigma habermasiano da razão comunicativa como alternativa às conseqüências dessa lógica tipicamente capitalista. Ao analisar a invasão do mundo sistêmico sobre o mundo da vida e a continuidade desse processo, o artigo elabora uma reflexão sobre a racionalidade, colocando a indagação: nas condições da moderna produção flexível, marca das grandes e médias indústrias de caráter transnacional, está-se diante de uma racionalidade ou irracionalidade capitalista

Using Optical Tracking System Data to Measure Team Synergic Behavior: Synchronization of Player-Ball-Goal Angles in a Football Match

The ecological dynamics approach to interpersonal relationships provides theoretical support to the use of kinematic data, obtained with sensor-based systems, in which players of a team are linked mainly by information from the performance environment. Our goal was to capture the properties of synergic behavior in football, using spatiotemporal data from one match of the 2018 FIFA WORLD CUP RUSSIA, to explore the application of player-ball-goal angles in cluster phase analysis. Linear mixed effects models were used to test the statistical significance of different effects, such as: team, half(-time), role and pitch zones. Results showed that the cluster phase values (synchronization) for the home team, had a 3.812×10-2±0.536×10-2 increase with respect to the away team (X2(41)=259.8, p<0.001) and that changing the role from with ball to without ball increased synchronization by 16.715×10-2±0.283×10-2 (X2(41)=12227.0, p<0.001). The interaction between effects was also significant. The player-team relative phase, the player-ball-goal angles relative frequency and the team configurations, showed that variations of synchronization might indicate critical performance changes (ball possession changes, goals scored, etc.). Characterization of a new muscarinic toxin from the venom of the Brazilian coral snake Micrurus lemniscatus in rat hippocampus

AbstractAimsWe have isolated a new muscarinic protein (MT-Mlα) from the venom of the Brazilian coral snake Micrurus lemniscatus.Main methodsThis small protein, which had a molecular mass of 7,048Da, shared high sequence homology with three-finger proteins that act on cholinergic receptors. The first 12 amino acid residues of the N-terminal sequence were determined to be: Leu-Ile-Cys-Phe-Ile-Cys-Phe-Ser-Pro-Thr-Ala-His.Key findingsThe MT-Mlα was able to displace the [3H]QNB binding in the hippocampus of rats. The binding curve in competition experiments with MT-Mlα was indicative of two types of [3H]QNB-binding site with pKi values of 9.08±0.67 and 6.17±0.19, n=4, suggesting that various muscarinic acetylcholine receptor (mAChR) subtypes may be the target proteins of MT-Mlα. The MT-Mlα and the M1 antagonist pirenzepine caused a dose-dependent block on total [3H]inositol phosphate accumulation induced by carbachol. The IC50 values for MT-Mlα and pirenzepine were, respectively, 33.1 and 2.26 nM. Taken together, these studies indicate that the MT-Mlα has antagonist effect on mAChRs in rat hippocampus.SignificanceThe results of the present study show, for the first time, that mAChRs function is drastically affected by MT-Mlα since it not only has affinity for mAChRs but also has the ability to inhibit mAChRs

O presente artigo visa analisar as diversas formas de interações sociais, com recorte na mídia social WhatsApp, que merece destaque nas formas de comunicação e interação, principalmente em um ambiente de laços associativos e relacionais. A proposta de estudo pretende correlacionar às formas de mudança das relações sociais através dos usuários e não usuários desta mídia social, promovendo a relação entre os processos de interação e interatividade, e ainda os processos de convergência. A discussão foi feita a partir de uma pesquisa exploratória e descritiva, com o método quantitativo e alguns dados qualitativos, através de dois questionários online. Meta-estudo crítico das pesquisas de arranjos produtivos locais

Este ensaio apresenta e discute as pesquisas que focaram os Arranjos Produtivos Locais brasileiros nas duas décadas precedentes. O objetivo é caracterizá-las; levantar criticamente os seus achados associando-os às lentes teóricas empregadas; e apontar lacunas que possam constituir em uma agenda para os próximos anos. A resultante é uma meta-síntese que partiu de uma amostra de 325 artigos empíricos e os submeteu às análises sociométricas, bibliométricas e de conteúdo. Encontrou-se um maior aporte em Institucionalismo, Evolucionismo Econômico e Economia Industrial; com poucos casos de triangulação teórica. Foi possível mapear as variáveis, atributos, fatores, construtos e resultados, bem como as suas interações, intervenientes na dinâmica do objeto. Mas persiste a falta de integração do conhecimento gerado pelas pesquisas, capaz de oferecer um modelo mais completo ao entendimento

Territorialización de la actividad ganadera en el sudeste de Pará (amazonía brasileña)

O presente artigo estreita o debate acerca das relações socioeconômicas que se materializam na paisagem da Amazônia Paraense em sua periodização de interesses, ações, relações e conflitos entre as instituições e os diferentes territórios, utilizando como lócus de análise o Sudeste Paraense. A produção cartográfica contou com elaborações a partir do software ArcMap (ArcGis) versão 10.4.1, juntamente à pesquisa bibliográfica. A implementação de infraestrutura e políticas públicas de incremento regional na Amazônia Legal consiste em mapear os seguimentos políticos que fomentaram a atuação capitalista, com a concentração da terra (empreendimentos agropecuários) e valorização da terra, marcada pela dinâmica socioeconômica. O Sudeste Paraense possui um processo histórico no qual se manifestam a violência e o fortalecimento de estruturas locais de poder, baseados na propriedade da terra. Esse contexto de disputa pela terra não afetou somente a situação fundiária regional, mas também foi decisivo para a consolidação de um padrão de exploração do meio natural baseado na transformação das áreas de florestas em pastagens cultivadas (pecuária). Houve uma queda significativa nas taxas de desmatamento no ano de 2009 com menor taxa em 2012, nos estados da Amazônia Legal, que retoma seu crescimento 2016, rompendo com a regressão dessa supressão florestal. Os dados mostram um pico elevado em 2019, tendência continuada em 2020, 2021. Essa continuidade é abarcada de alterações do território que gira em torno das atividades pioneiras que especulam a terra em consonância ao mercado consumidos externo e as políticas do avanço e desenvolvimento capitalistas.The present article narrows the debate about the socioeconomic relations that materialize in the landscape of the Paraense Amazon in its periodization of interests, actions, relations and conflicts between institutions and different territories, using as locus of analysis the Paraense Southeast. The cartographic production was based on the ArcMap software (ArcGis) version 10.4.1, together with bibliographic research. The implementation of infrastructure and public policies for regional increment in the Legal Amazon consists in mapping the political followings that have fomented capitalist action, with the concentration of land (agricultural enterprises) and land valuation, marked by socioeconomic dynamics. Southeast Paraense has a historical process in which violence and the strengthening of local power structures, based on land ownership, are manifest. This context of dispute over land not only affected the regional land ownership situation, but was also decisive for the consolidation of a pattern of exploitation of the natural environment based on the transformation of forest areas into cultivated pastures (cattle raising). There was a significant drop in deforestation rates in the year 2009 with a lower rate in 2012, in the states of the Legal Amazon, which resumes its 2016 growth, breaking with the regression of this forest suppression. The data show a high peak in 2019, a continued trend in 2020, 2021. This continuity is encompassed by changes in the territory that revolves around pioneer activities that speculate the land in line with the external consumer market and the policies of capitalist advance and development.El presente artículo estrecha el debate sobre las relaciones socioeconómicas que se materializan en el paisaje de la Amazonia Paraense en su periodización de intereses, acciones, relaciones y conflictos entre instituciones y diferentes territorios, utilizando como locus de análisis el Sudeste Paraense. A produção cartográfica foi baseada no software ArcMap (ArcGis) versão 10.4.1, juntamente com pesquisa bibliográfica. La implementación de infraestructura y políticas públicas para el incremento regional en la Amazonia Legal consiste en mapear los seguimientos políticos que fomentaron el desempeño capitalista, con la concentración de la tierra (empresas agrícolas y ganaderas) y la valorización de la tierra, marcada por la dinámica socioeconómica. El Sudeste Paraense tiene un proceso histórico en el que se manifiesta la violencia y el fortalecimiento de las estructuras de poder local, basado en la propiedad de la tierra. Este contexto de disputa por la tierra no sólo afectó a la situación de la propiedad regional de la tierra, sino que también fue decisivo para consolidar un patrón de explotación del medio natural basado en la transformación de áreas boscosas en pastos cultivados (ganadería). Hubo una caída significativa en las tasas de deforestación en el año 2009 con la tasa más baja en 2012, en los estados de la Amazonia Legal, que retoma su crecimiento de 2016, rompiendo con la regresión de esta supresión forestal. Los datos muestran un pico alto en 2019, una tendencia continuada en 2020, 2021. SPECIALIZED NURSING TERMINOLOGY FOR PEOPLE WITH VISCERAL LEISHMANIASIS

Objective: to create specialized Nursing terminology for the care of people with Visceral Leishmaniasis.Method: a methodological study carried out in two stages: identification of the relevant concepts in medical records of patients with chosen health priority admitted between 2017 and 2019 to a public and teaching hospital in the north of Minas Gerais, BR; cross-mapping of the concepts identified with the ICNP®.Results: a total of 57,797 simple and compound (with repetitions) concepts, were extracted, of which 624 were useful single concepts for the Nursing care to be provided to people with Visceral Leishmaniasis. 281 (45%) primitive concepts were identified as included in ICNP® 2019-2020, as well as 343 (55%) not included in the classification. The concepts related to Focus and Location stood out in the axes.Conclusions: a specialized ICNP® terminology was created for the care of people with Visceral Leishmaniasis, with potential impacts on the standardization of actions and on generation of indicators sensitive to the Nursing practice

A rastreabilidade de dispositivos médicos implantáveis e o sistema único de identificação de dispositivos: um estudo bibliométrico

The aim was to systematize and analyze the national and international scientific production on the traceability of implantable medical devices and the use of the Unique Device Identification System in 126 academic articles. Data were retrieved from the Scopus database and analyzed using inferential statistics to reach conclusions about a larger group. Thus, the coefficient of determination and the chi-square test of adherence were adopted, using the Microsoft Excel® software and the R statistical program to assess the scientific production activity related to the terms’ traceability and unique identification of the device. A map was generated in the VOS software, which provided the analysis of the behavior parameters and some presentations of the results in the form of tables and graphs, examined according to descriptive statistics. It was found that there was theoretical and empirical growth in the field of traceability of implantable medical devices and in the use of the Unique Device Identification System.Objetivou-se sistematizar e analisar a produção científica nacional e internacional sobre a rastreabilidade de dispositivos médicos implantáveis ​​e a utilização do Sistema Único de Identificação de Dispositivos em 126 artigos acadêmicos. Os dados foram recuperados da base de dados Scopus e analisados ​​à luz da estatística inferencial, a fim de se chegar a conclusões sobre um grupo maior. Assim, foram adotados o coeficiente de determinação e o teste de aderência do qui-quadrado, utilizando o software Microsoft Excel® e o programa estatístico R para avaliar a atividade de produção científica relacionada com os termos rastreabilidade e identificação única do dispositivo.
