Development of Juice Do It Business with Franchise Method: Strategy and Implementation

The growth of the healthcare industry in Indonesia in recent years showed significant improvement. Health business grows rapidly with variety of different focus, such as health treatment, supplements, health assurance, medical equipment, health programs such as yoga and fitness center. Juice Do It, which was established on May 1, 2012 tried to address this opportunity by providing products of Juice that is loaded with health benefits. After operating for more than 1 year, Juice Do It showed significant progress with a positive market response and turnover increases. However, this does not necessarily make it stable in the industry. The market is constantly changing, new competitors continue to emerge everywhere. Market development should be done immediately. To address this issue, the authors will first analyze the internal and external conditions of this industry. With this analysis, it is expected that the development decisions can be planned better. From the analysis, it will be found the root of the problem of why the development should be done immediately. The proposed development’s strategy were recommended by using the franchise method. To implement this method properly, the authors conducted a literature study on the franchise management and interviews with practitioners in the field. The overall strategies are carefully formulated using the relevant theory in the field. Several franchise packages are designed based on the budget of the franchise and the conditions in the field. Once the proposal is accepted by the management of Juice Do It, they will create a pilot project. The pilot project will serves as a place to apply theories that have been made as a pilot for the next outlet to be built.Â

INTERFERENSI KALIMAT BAHASA MANGGARAI TERHADAP BAHASA INDONESIA DALAM PERCAKAPAN MAHASISWA MANGGARAI DI UNIVERSITAS PGRI ADI BUANA SURABAYA

Interference is a language error caused by the influence of other languages, which is often used so that it affects the use of other languages. This study aims to describe the interferences of Manggarai language sentences in the form of question sentences and command sentences towards Indonesian in Manggarai student conversations at PGRI Adi Buana University, Surabaya This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach that is the explanation in the form of sentences or language. The data from this study are the results of conversations by Manggarai students. The data source of this research is Manggarai students at PGRI Adi Buana University in Surabaya. The techniques of data collection in this study are (1) see competent involvement. (2) record. (3) note it down. The data analysis technique in this study uses descriptive techniques because it strongly supports the research objective of describing or obtaining a clear picture of the form of sentence interference in Manggarai student conversations at PGRI Adi Buana University in Surabaya. The results of the study found in the interference of Manggarai language sentences against Indonesian in Manggarai student conversations at PGRI Adi Buana University Surabaya, in the form of question and command sentence interference. Interference of question and command sentences as found in the structure of Indonesian language is not logical that is influenced by the local language system or mother tongue

The Effectiveness and Contribution of Hotel and Restaurant Tax Revenue to PAD Palopo City

Purpose: Regional Original Income is revenue from local tax levies, regional levies, separated regional wealth management and other income. Restaurant tax and hotel tax are included in local taxes. Restaurants and hotels are potential sectors in increasing the effectiveness of tax revenues and their contributions can spur economic development in Palopo City. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness and contribution of restaurant taxes and hotel taxes to PAD in Palopo City. The research was conducted at the Regional Revenue Service of Palopo City. Design/methodology/approach: The analytical method used is a descriptive method, namely analyzing the realization of restaurant tax and hotel tax realization data from 2016-2020. Findings: The results of the overall study The effectiveness of restaurant tax revenues and hotel taxes in 2016-2020 is very effective. Revenue from restaurant tax and hotel tax in 2016-2020 made a good contribution to PAD. Practical implications: The leadership of DISPENDA should be committed to the targets to be achieved every year, and strive to increase the contribution of restaurant taxes and hotel taxes to local revenues. Survei Penilaian Pembelajaran Keterampilan PJOK Pada Masa Pasca Pandemi Covid-19 Di SMP Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penilaian keterampilan PJOK di SMP Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang setelah pergantian model pembelajaran yang sebelumnya dilakukan secara daring kembali lagi ke pembelajaran yang dilakukan secara luring atau tatap muka. Menurut hasil observasi yang dilakukan oleh peneliti pada saat KPL pada pembelajaran Pendidikan jasmani, olahraga dan Kesehatan di SMP Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang ditemui masalah yaitu kurangnya kesesuaian pengambilan nilai pendidikan jasmani dan hasil belajar siswa yang ideal karena imbas dari masa pandemi covid-19 dan masa pasca pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan metode survei dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 103 responden (101 siswa kelas VIII dan IX, serta 2 guru) di SMP Laboratorium Universitas Negeri Malang. Instrumen yang digunakan merupakan lembar kuesioner dengan total 36 butir pertanyaan yang nantinya data yang diperoleh akan dianalisis menggunakan Skala Guttman. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perolehan total skor pada sub indikator Bola Besar, Bola kecil, Atletik, Beladiri, Senam lantai, dan kebugaran jasmani memiliki persentase sebesar 54,4% dan masuk di dalam kategori cukup baik. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan terhadap penilaian keterampilan siswa meskipun belum sepenuhnya optimal dan perlu adanya perhatian khusus terhadap siswa agar siswa dapat beradaptasi dengan maksimal

OPTIMALISASI EKSTRAKSI DAN UJI STABILITAS PHYCOCYANIN DARI MIKROALGA Spirulina platensis

Spirulina platensis adalah salah satu mikroalga penghasil Phycocyanin yang relatif cepat berproduksi dan mudah dalam sistem pemanenannya. Phycocyanin yang secara struktural mirip dengan β-karoten merupakan pigmen biru alami yang berharga dan banyak dimanfaatkan pada bidang kosmetik, obat-obatan dan farmasi. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah melakukan studi evaluasi produksi Phycocyanin dengan teknik ekstraksi dengan beberapa pelarut polar pada berbagai konsentrasi untuk mendapatkan hasil ekstrak yang maksimum. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini memiliki beberapa tahap yaitu persiapan bahan, ekstraksi, studi kelarutan Phycocyanin, dan uji stabilitas Phycocyanin. Variabel berubah dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis pelarut polar Air, Asam asetat 70%, 75%, 80%, Amonium sulfat 50%, 55%, 60%. Analisa hasil kadar Phycocyanin yang terkstrak menggunakan metode spektrofotometri. Hasil pengamatan menghasilkan ekstrak zat warna biru yang memiliki intensitas warna tertinggi dengan absorbansi maksimalnya 620 nm. Pelarut asam asetat 80% merupakan pelarut yang paling efektif mengekstrak zat warna biru Phycocyanin dibandingkan air dan amonium sulfat. Ekstraksi dipengaruhi oleh pH yaitu kenaikan serapan (absorbansi) dengan meningkatnya pH dan tidak dipengaruhi oleh suhu dan lama penyimpanan zat warna

Rancang Bangun Pompa Hidram (Hydraulic Ram Pump) dengan 3 Varian Tabung Udara untuk Model Sistem Irigasi Persawahan

Letak sumber air yang lebih rendah dari tempat tinggal masyarakat  membuat masyarakat memerlukan pompa, tetapi pompa konvensional mempunyai kendala jika sumber air tersebut jauh dari sumber listrik dan bahan bakar. Pompa hidram adalah solusi dari permasalahan tersebut, karena pompa ini tidak memerlukan energi listrik maupun bahan bakar. Pompa hidram dapat bekerja selama 24 jam, biaya pembuatan dan perawatan relatif murah . Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui head outout terbesar pompa hidram PVC/Pipa Bekas 1 inci pada 3 variasi tabung udara dengan volume TU1 0,0009 m³, TU2 0,0019m³, TU3 0,0024 m³. Dalam penelitian ini dengan varian 3 tabung udara, TU 1 dengan volume tabung 0.0009 m³ tinggi output 4 m diperoleh head head output terbanyak sebesar 0.75 bar dengan tinggi input 1 m, panjang langkah 9 mm dan berat beban katup limbah 150 gram. Untuk TU 2 dengan volume tabung 0,0019 m³ tinggi output 4 m diperoleh head output terbanyak sebesar 0,85 bar dengan tinggi input 1 m, panjang langkah 9 mm dan berat beban katup limbah 150 gram. Sedangkan TU 3 dengan volume tabung 0,0024 m³ tinggi output 4 m diperoleh head output terbanyak sebesar 1 bar dengan tinggi input 1 m, panjang langkah 9 mm dan berat beban katup limbah 150 gram
