    Leveraging the Growth of Micro and Small Sector Businesses In Sidoarjo Regency: Antecedents of Social Media And Strengthening Management

    Objective: This research wants to test the influence of social media on strengthening management and business growth and examine the effect of strengthening management on business growth. Design/methodology/approach: This research is included in the quantitative research category with an associative /explanatory approach and hypothesis testing. The unit of analysis in this research is micro and small business actors with a population of 186. The sample size in the research is 92. While Taking sample members from the population using a purposive sampling technique, the sample members are also referred to as respondents. The distribution of questionnaires was carried out over one month (1 June 2023 - 30 June 2023); 87 questionnaires were answered and filled in completely (94.57%); therefore, the data collected through this questionnaire was representative enough to represent the total population. Findings: Testing with Path analysis shows that social media directly and significantly influences strengthening management and business growth with standardized coefficient values of 0.347 (sig. 0.039) and 0.324 (sig. 0.041), while strengthening management directly and significantly influences the growth of micro-businesses and small with a standardization coefficient value of 0.409 (sig. 0.46). The results of this test show that social media, which is used massively to explore market information and is carried out in a structured manner, will encourage optimal management development to provide an adequate contribution to strengthening management, which leads to the creation of sustainable creative behavior in managing micro and small businesses to be more effective and efficient, both in managing market access, implementing management functions, business processes, and business cycles, so as to leverage the growth of micro and small businesses for the better. Therefore, hypotheses H1, H2, and H3 can be accepted because all the antecedents are tested to have a positive and significant influence with a significance figure below 0.0

    Purpose: Think about the role that employee competency plays in the relationship between leadership style, salary, and performance. Design/methodology/approach: Quantitative research. Findings: 1) The way a leader acts has a major, favorable impact on the results his or her team achieves, 2) leadership style significantly positively affects competence, 3), pay raises have a positive impact on productivity, 4) Raises in salary have a salutary effect on worker performance., 5) employee competence has a positive impact on productivity, 6).Positive results can be attained through a variety of leadership styles on productivity through an intermediary of employee competence. 7) With competence as a moderating element, salary has a large, positive effect on worker output. Research limitations/implications: This study surveyed the staff of PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia (Persero) utilizing a sample size of 300 people who filled out questionnaires provided in-house. The collected data was analyzed using Smart PLS version 3.2.9. Practical implications: This study shows that both leadership style and pay have significant impacts on workers' output. Competence has a significant impact on performance and outcomes such as salary and leadership style.     Environmental Impact Assessment on the Development and Operation of Type B Terminal in Bontang City

    Purpose: The Type B Terminal is critical for improving the area's connectivity and accessibility, particularly in Bontang City and its surroundings. The principles of equality, ecological balance, resilience, sustainable development, viability, and connectivity will guide the terminal's construction and operation. The effects on environmental components must be evaluated, and appropriate countermeasures must be implemented to ensure the project's long-term viability. Design/methodology/approach: The impacts and countermeasures of the terminal in Gunung Telihan Village, West Bontang District, Bontang City, East Kalimantan Province were determined using a qualitative descriptive method. The matrix method was used to determine the significant impacts during the pre-construction, construction, and operational stages. The structure and operation are expected to have seven effects on the physical environment components, including a reduction in air quality, an increase in noise intensity, a decrease in surface water quality, a disruption in smooth and safe traffic, damage to existing roads, specific waste handling (unloading), and the generation of domestic solid and liquid waste. Findings: At the same time, three components must be evaluated when implementing countermeasures: disruption of smooth and safe traffic, generation of domestic solid and liquid waste, and handling of specific waste (building demolition) to mitigate the impacts.     Purpose: This study aims to review how effective the online food delivery application is that is used to optimize MSME income in the culinary field, especially at Seblak Incezz Rejomulyo, Kediri City. Design/methodology/approach: This is a qualitative study that employs an analytical descriptive approach. The analytical-descriptive approach was chosen because it provides an explanation or elaboration regarding variable objects obtained from the data that has been collected. Findings: The use of online food delivery services is effective in optimizing sales volume at Seblak Incezz Rejomulyo, Kediri City. In the end, the more sales increase, the entity's income will also increase. Research limitations/implications: Only focus on one sector of SMEs, so the results cannot be compared with SMEs in other fields. Practical implications: This research shows that MSMEs need to adapt according to technological developments.     Influence of Lean-Green Practices on The Relationship Networks and Performance of Medium Hotels in the Kenyan Cities

    Purpose: Examine the influence of lean-green practices on the relationship between networks and performance of medium hotels in the Kenyan cities. Design/methodology/approach: The study was anchored on dynamic capability theory. Pragmatic research paradigm employing mixed method was applied which uilized concurrent triangulation research design. The target population was 534 medium hotels. Stratified random sampling technique was used to determine a sample size of 229 hotels. Findings: The study found that networks positively influenced performance of medium hotels in Kenyan cities and lean-green practices positively and significantly influences on the relationship between networks and performance of medium hotels in Kenyan cities. Designing, implementing and utilizing lean-green practices in collaboration with networking in medium hotels is important in production matrix. Research limitations/implications: Focus was on medium hotels in the Kenyan cities. Practical implications: Results of this research shows that lean-green practices constitute one of the most important strategies resulting in performance. Originality/value: This research is original because the research was conducted in Kenya and there is no other similar research in Kenya

    Purpose: This paper examines the effect of the globalization phenomenon and its impact on the dynamic development of entrepreneurship based on changing economic, cultural, and business environments both within and between nations. Design/methodology/approach: The authors use theoretical perspectives and analyze literature reviews to identify the effect of the relationship that exists between globalization and entrepreneurship, which plays a variety of important roles in the business world. Findings: The findings of the study show that while there is a significant statistical difference between U.S. and international entrepreneurs regarding the importance of cross-cultural considerations, there are no statistical differences regarding the importance of global entrepreneurial innovation, business environment, and the effect of globalization on the economy. Research limitations/implications: The paper presents a critical analysis of the impact of globalization on entrepreneurs in the U.S. and internationally. Practical implications: The authors investigate the characteristics necessary for entrepreneurs to be successful, such as skills, knowledge, experience, and the abilities needed to apply technology and innovation, and they navigate complex cultural differences that may exist between business members and stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds.     The Role of Good Corporate Governance in Influenced Accounting Conservatism of Manufacturing Companies in Indonesia

    Purpose: This study aims to examine the role of good corporate governance in accounting conservatism. Methodology: This study uses a sample of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020-2021 period, with a total sample of 72 company-years. The test uses SPSS 25. Findings: The study found that independent commissioners and profitability have a significant positive effect on accounting conservatism, while managerial ownership and company size do not affect accounting conservatism. Implications: This study provides implications for the theory of accounting conservatism, where the factors of independent commissioners and profitability have a significant effect on accounting conservatism. The presence of independent commissioners in the company will ensure that the company's financial reporting process is well-monitored so that the company is more careful in carrying out its financial reporting. Similarly, with profitability, the presence of high profitability will increase the amount of retained earnings, and the company tends to use more conservative accounting principles to regulate earnings to appear more flat and less volatile

    Purpose: This research was conducted at SMA (Senior High School) and SMK (Vocational High School) Kawung 2 Surabaya with the aim of analyzing the influence of the work environment on teacher performance, analyzing the effect of compensation on teacher performance, and analyzing the effect of work professionalism on teacher performance, analyzing the influence of work environment mediated by work professionalism on teacher performance, analyzing the effect of compensation mediated by work professionalism on teacher performance.     Purpose: This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of price, brand image and product quality on iPhone purchasing decisions in the city of Malang. The population in this study are iPhone consumers who have purchased products at Fineapple id. Design/methodology/approach: The data collection method in this study used a questionnaire with a sample of 75 respondents. The independent variable in this study is the effect of price, brand image and product quality and the dependent variable is the purchase decision. The analytical method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis and processed using SPSS 26. Findings: The results of this study simultaneously show that the effect of price, brand image and product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Partially, Brand Image and Product Quality have a significant effect on iPhone Purchase Decisions, while Price has no effect on iPhone Purchase Decisions. Paper type: Research pape
