Moduli Stabilisation and the Holographic Swampland
We investigate whether Swampland constraints on the low-energy dynamics of
weakly coupled, moduli-stabilised string vacua in AdS can be related to
inconsistencies of their putative holographic duals or, more generally, recast
in terms of CFT data. We find that various swampland consistency constraints
are equivalent to a negativity condition on the sign of certain mixed anomalous
dimensions. This condition is similar to well-established CFT positivity bounds
arising from causality and unitarity, but not known to hold in general. The
studied scenarios include LVS, KKLT, and both perturbative and racetrack
stabilisation. Interestingly, the LVS vacuum (with )
also appears to live very close to a critical value ()
where the anomalous dimensions change sign. We finally point out an intriguing
connection to the Swampland Distance Conjecture, both in its original and
refined versions.Comment: 37 pages + references, 4 figures; v2 added references and corrected

Catch-Me-If-You-Can: The Overshoot Problem and the Weak/Inflation Hierarchy
We study the overshoot problem in the context of post-inflationary string
cosmology (in particular LVS). LVS cosmology features a long kination epoch as
the volume modulus rolls down the exponential slope towards the final minimum,
with an energy density that scales as . This roll admits attractor
tracker solutions, and if these are located the overshoot problem is solved. We
show that, provided a sufficiently large hierarchy exists between the
inflationary scale and the weak scale, this will always occur in LVS as initial
seed radiation grows into the tracker solution. The consistency requirement of
ending in a stable vacuum containing the weak hierarchy therefore gives a
preference for high inflationary scales -- an anthropic argument, if one likes,
for a large inflation/weak hierarchy. We discuss various origins, both
universal and model-dependent, of the initial seed radiation (or matter). One
particularly interesting case is that of a fundamental string network arising
from brane inflation -- this may lead to an early epoch in which the universe
energy density principally consists of gravitational waves, while an LVS
fundamental string network survives into the present universe.Comment: Corrected typos, reference added. Included a comment on the scaling
of the total energy density during kinatio
Composite Dark Matter from Strongly-Interacting Chiral Dynamics
A class of chiral gauge theories is studied with accidentally-stable pseudo
Nambu-Goldstone bosons playing the role of dark matter (DM). The gauge group
contains a vector-like dark color factor that confines at energies larger than
the electroweak scale, and a factor that remains weakly coupled
and is spontaneously broken. All new scales are generated dynamically,
including the DM mass, and the IR dynamics is fully calculable. We analyze
minimal models of this kind with dark fermions transforming as non-trivial
vector-like representations of the Standard Model (SM) gauge group. In
realistic models, the DM candidate is a SM singlet and comes along with charged
partners that can be discovered at high-energy colliders. The phenomenology of
the lowest-lying new states is thus characterized by correlated predictions for
astrophysical observations and laboratory experiments.Comment: 56 pages (43 + appendices), 13 figures. v2: minor changes, matching

The objective of this research work is to analyze the influence of collaborative activities on the learning of discourse markers in the students of the Language Comprehension and Production from a private university in Lima. It is an applied research with a quasi-experimental design, composed of experimental and control. For the collection of data, the Test on discourse markers was used. Likewise, a pretest measurement was carried out successively, and once the results were obtained, the workshop on collaborative activities, composed of 7 sessions, was conducted in the experimental group to then carry out the posttest measurements in both groups. The hypothesis testing was made with the Mann Whitney U test. The results showed that there was significant influence of the collaborative work on the learning of the discourse markers in the students that are object of study.
Art, Creativity and Automation. From Charters to Shared 3D Visualization Practices
In this study, we introduce the themes of the Special Issue on Art, Creativity and Automation. Sharing 3D Visualization Practices in Archaeology, and present the most important outcomes of a roundtable session involving prominent researchers in the field, organized by the authors during the Archon Winter School in February 2020. By assessing the diversity of research aims, artistic projects, creative practices and technology used in the contributions to the Special Issue, and drawing on the thoughts and perspectives generated during the roundtable discussion, we seek to identify shared challenges within the community of visualizers which could ultimately pave the way to shared practices. In this light, we assess whether established charters and guidelines are still relevant in a now matured digital archaeology, where visualization techniques have attained a central position in archaeological knowledge production. Although parts of the guidelines have become common practice, the remainder did not keep up with the fast pace of development of digital practice and its current fundamental role in archaeology, and as a result some of the guidelines risk becoming obstructive in archaeological creative practice.Material Culture Studie
A Hundred Anniversary of the Seminary “Saint Joseph” of La Plata. The challenge of forming priests for the new evangelization
A forceful reflection on the Seminary, in its centenary of foundation. The father, a former teacher of the house, takes us through the enthusiastic origin in the formation of the first priests, up to the importance that the Second Vatican Council had in the assumption of a new seminary that aims at the priesthood that the People of God needs. Finally, he specifies the elements that the seminarian will need to cultivate his formation in these challenging times: The need for closeness with God, the bishop, the priestly community and the People. Creativity, personalization, self-knowledge and love for the Church in intimacy with God are fundamental. And "Above all, a great love for people, because love is the language that every human being knows perfectly well".Cátedra Libre de Pensamiento Cristiano (UNLP)Seminario Mayor San José (La Plata
