The present work demonstrates the limits for Big Data's application focused in the consumption of traffic of Voice and Information originated by the clients in a company of the sector of telecommunications. As final result one seeks to generate commercial real time strategies. We understand for Big Data as a set of technologies and technologies for the treatment and storage of information, in environments of great volume, variety of origins and in that the speed of response is critical. Likewise we will know the concept and the application of them 5V's that compose the technology Big Data (Speed, Veracity, Variety, Volume, Value). The implementation will realize across two Software, one for the storage and processing of information Hadoop and other one for the visual part and analysis like it is Tableau. Since deliverable principal in the proposed methodology we have to define the Type Client, generate his Consumptions in certain time and finally the Commercial Strategies

Spatiotemporal Stacked Sequential Learning for Pedestrian Detection

Pedestrian classifiers decide which image windows contain a pedestrian. In practice, such classifiers provide a relatively high response at neighbor windows overlapping a pedestrian, while the responses around potential false positives are expected to be lower. An analogous reasoning applies for image sequences. If there is a pedestrian located within a frame, the same pedestrian is expected to appear close to the same location in neighbor frames. Therefore, such a location has chances of receiving high classification scores during several frames, while false positives are expected to be more spurious. In this paper we propose to exploit such correlations for improving the accuracy of base pedestrian classifiers. In particular, we propose to use two-stage classifiers which not only rely on the image descriptors required by the base classifiers but also on the response of such base classifiers in a given spatiotemporal neighborhood. More specifically, we train pedestrian classifiers using a stacked sequential learning (SSL) paradigm. We use a new pedestrian dataset we have acquired from a car to evaluate our proposal at different frame rates. We also test on a well known dataset: Caltech. The obtained results show that our SSL proposal boosts detection accuracy significantly with a minimal impact on the computational cost. Interestingly, SSL improves more the accuracy at the most dangerous situations, i.e. when a pedestrian is close to the camera.Comment: 8 pages, 5 figure, 1 tabl

Extended Lyα\alpha emission around quasars with eclipsing damped Lyα\alpha systems

We present spectroscopic observations of six high redshift (zemz_{\rm em} >> 2) quasars, which have been selected for their Lyman α\alpha (Lyα\alpha) emission region being only partially covered by a strong proximate (zabsz_{\rm abs} \sim zemz_{\rm em}) coronagraphic damped Lyα\alpha system (DLA). We detected spatially extended Lyα\alpha emission envelopes surrounding these six quasars, with projected spatial extent in the range 26 \le dLyαd_{\rm Ly\alpha} \le 51 kpc. No correlation is found between the quasar ionizing luminosity and the Lyα\alpha luminosity of their extended envelopes. This could be related to the limited covering factor of the extended gas and/or due to the AGN being obscured in other directions than towards the observer. Indeed, we find a strong correlation between the luminosity of the envelope and its spatial extent, which suggests that the envelopes are probably ionized by the AGN. The metallicity of the coronagraphic DLAs is low and varies in the range -1.75 << [Si/H] << -0.63. Highly ionized gas is observed to be associated with most of these DLAs, probably indicating ionization by the central AGN. One of these DLAs has the highest AlIII/SiII ratio ever reported for any intervening and/or proximate DLA. Most of these DLAs are redshifted with respect to the quasar, implying that they might represent infalling gas probably accreted onto the quasar host galaxies through filaments.Comment: Accepted for publication in MNRAS, 27 pages, 19 figures, 6 table

The long bar as seen by the VVV Survey: II. Star counts

Context: There is still some debate about the presence and the morphological properties of the long bar in the inner Galaxy. Aims: We investigate the morphological properties of the long Galactic bar using the VVV survey extending star counts at least 3 mag deeper than 2MASS. Our study covers the relatively unexplored negative longitudes of the Galactic bar. We obtain a detailed description of the spatial distribution of star counts towards the long Galactic bar as well as to measure its parameters. Methods: We performed star counts towards -20<l<0 deg., |b|< 2 deg. using VVV, 2MASS, and GLIMPSE data. We applied an average interstellar extinction correction. We also adjusted latitudinal profiles to obtain the centroid variation and bar thickness. Results: We probe the structure of long Galactic bar, as well as its far edge at l=-14 deg. The differences between counts with and without extinction correction allow us to produce a crude extinction map showing regions with high extinction, mainly beyond the end of long Galactic bar. The latitudinal profiles show evidence of the centroid vertical variation with Galactic longitude reaching a minimum at l=-13.8 deg. The bar has an inclination angle 43+/-5 deg with respect to the line Sun-Galactic center. In addition, we have determined the bar parameters, such as thickness, length, and stellar distribution.Comment: Accepted for publication at Astronomy \& Astrophysics (17 pages, 17 figures). This research addresses the process to enhance Lota’s industrial mining heritage, in the period between the Labor Reconversion Plan of 1997 and Lota Mining Complex’s application to UNESCO’s Tentative List at the beginning of 2021. This period allowed studying a series of strategies implemented by the State together with other actors, as well as understanding the involvement of the community in the commune’s revitalization process. The purpose of the research was to analyze these strategies, to make a comparison regarding the prevailing purposes and uses for each type of actor, according to the hypotheses and paradigms on the social uses of cultural heritage. To do this, the Critical Discourse Analysis approach and tools were applied to different documentary sources. The heritage valuation strategies and actions that emerge from the closure of the mines in Lota, were initially developed top-down, starting from the authorities. However, throughout the heritage valuation process, a series of instances are established where the local community begins to influence the comprehensive management of the site's components. In this way, the results of the research reveal a trend toward a horizontal relationship between the different actors involved in the safeguarding process, from a participatory approach that contemplates the involvement of the local community

    Arrow-shaped elasto-inertial rotating waves.

We present direct numerical simulations of the Taylor– Couette flow of a dilute polymer solution when only the inner cylinder rotates and the curvature of the system is moderate (η = 0.77). The finitely extensible nonlinear elastic-Peterlin (FENE-P) closure is used to model the polymer dynamics. The simulations have revealed the existence of a novel elastoinertial rotating wave characterized by arrow-shaped structures of the polymer stretch field aligned with the streamwise direction. This rotating wave pattern is comprehensively characterized, including an analysis of its dependence on the dimensionless Reynolds and Weissenberg numbers. Other flow states having arrow-shaped structures coexisting with other types of structures have also been identified for the first time in this study and are briefly discussed.Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación proyectos PID2019-105162RB-I00 and PID2020-114043GB-10
