La liturgia secreta del tiempo. Una revisión de la génesis, publicación y recepción de El minutero de López Velarde

El minutero de López Velarde, tal como lo leemos hoy, surgió de un proceso de elaboración, edición y recepción complejo, apenas esclarecido por los estudiosos. El presente artículo trata de dilucidar en la medida de lo posible cómo pasó de ser un libro planeado a un libro póstumo, y cómo el “arreglo” final fue decidido por Enrique Fernández Ledesma y el círculo más próximo al poeta fallecido. En cuanto a la recepción, aunque López Velarde lo escribió bajo la conciencia modeladora del “poema en prosa”, esta condición genérica tardó en ser reconocida por la crítica y en imponerse como la mejor opción de lectura. Finalmente y a partir de las sugerencias de Xavier Villaurrutia, el libro es interpretado como un “devocionario profano”, decisivo para forjar la leyenda del escritor.As we read it today, López Velarde’s El minutero is the result of a complex process of production, edition and reception, which has barely been clarified by scholars. This article tries to explain how the book, which had been previously planned by its author, became a posthumous publication finally prepared by Enrique Fernández Ledesma and Velarde’s closest circle of friends. Furthermore, the discussion also deals with the subject of its reception. Even though López Velarde conceived El minutero as a book of “prose poems”, the critics took a long time to recognize this genre as the best reading option. Finally, and following the idea of Xavier Villaurrutia, the book, decisive in forging the writer’s legend, is analyzed as a “profane prayer book”

Un artículo desconocido de Rubén Darío: «Mallarmé. Notas para un ensayo futuro

Specialists in Rubén Darío and in the reception of Mallarmé in Spanish are familiar with his 1894 translation of «Les Fleurs», considered the earliest translation into Spanish of a poem by Mallarmé, and above all with the essay «Stéphane Mallarmé» which Darío published, following the French writer’s death, in the magazine El Mercurio de América (Buenos Aires, October 1898). There is, however, another article by Darío on Mallarmé which has until now remained completely forgotten. Its title is «Mallarmé. Notes for a Future Essay», it is also of a necrological nature, and it was published in another magazine of Buenos Aires, El Sol del Domingo, shortly before the article in El Mercurio. More than a century later, Alfonso García Morales reproduces the text, accompanying it with a presentation and a series of clarifying notes which show how Darío understood, admired and even used the literature of the Master of symbolism earlier and to a greater extent than has been hitherto acknowledged.Los estudiosos de Darío y los de la recepción de Mallarmé en español conocen la traducción que aquél hizo en 1894 de «Les Fleurs», considerada la primera traducción de un poema de Mallarmé al español, y sobre todo conocen el ensayo «Stéphane Mallarmé» que, con ocasión de la muerte de éste, Darío publicó en la revista El Mercurio de América (Buenos Aires, octubre 1898). PWM Control of a Buck Converter with an Amorphous Core Coil

Pulse-width modulation is widely used to control electronic converters. One of the most topologies used for high DC voltage/low DC voltage conversion is the Buck converter. It is obtained as a second order system with a LC filter between the switching subsystem and the load. The use of a coil with an amorphous magnetic material core instead of air core lets design converters with smaller size. If high switching frequencies are used for obtaining high quality voltage output, the value of the auto inductance L is reduced throughout the time. Then, robust controllers are needed if the accuracy of the converter response must not be affected by auto inductance and load variations. This paper presents a robust controller for a Buck converter based on a state space feedback control system combined with an additional virtual space variable which minimizes the effects of the inductance and load variations when a not-toohigh switching frequency is applied. The system exhibits a null steady-state average error response for the entire range of parameter variations. Simulation results are presented

Using the Own Flexibility of a Climbing Robot as a Double Force Sensor

Force sensors are used when interaction tasks are carried out by robots in general, and by climbing robots in particular. If the mechanics and electronics systems are contained inside the own robot, the robot becomes portable without external control. Commercial force sensors cannot be used due to limited space and weight. By selecting the links material with appropriate stiffness and placing strain gauges on the structure, the own robot flexibility can be used such as force sensor. Thus, forces applied on the robot tip can be measured without additional external devices. Only gauges and small internal electronic converters are necessary. This paper illustrates the proposed algorithm to achieve these measurements. Additionally, experimental results are presented

Paralela/mente: «El reino interior» como la «obra maestra» de Rubén Darío

«El reino interior» es el último poema de la primera edición de Prosas profanas (Buenos Aires, 1896) y desde J. E. Rodó hasta la actualidad ha merecido una larga serie de interpretaciones críticas. El objetivo del presente artículo es volver a analizarlo a partir del concepto de «obra maestra», como el poema con el que Darío se propuso conscientemente consagrarse como maestro no sólo de la poesía hispanoamericana sino de la poesía internacional de fin de siglo, a la altura técnica y temática de sus modelos literarios modernos, al nivel de sus propios «raros».“The Inner Kingdom” (“El reino interior») is the last poem of the first edition of Profane Hymns (Prosas profanas, Buenos Aires, 1896) and from J. E. Rodó to our days, it has received a wide range of critical analyses.
