Recurso Electr?nicoEl presente trabajo de investigaci?n tuvo como objetivo diagnosticar las pr?cticas de evaluaci?n de los aprendizajes desarrolladas en la instituci?n educativa Luis Carlos Gal?n Sarmiento del municipio de Honda-Tolima, con el fin de proponer estrategias que fortalezcan la reflexi?n y la conceptualizaci?n para trasformar la evaluaci?n a partir de seis categor?as: Conceptos de evaluaci?n educativa y evaluaci?n de los aprendizajes, t?cnicas e instrumentos, usos, finalidades y principios. As? mismo se realiza un proceso de formaci?n a trav?s del plan Lector a partir de algunos referentes te?ricos con el fin de resignificar la evaluaci?n de los aprendizajes y mejorar los procesos evaluativos en la instituci?n educativa, se realizaron intervenciones al SIE y al plan de clase. El enfoque de la investigaci?n fue de tipo cualitativa, alcance descriptivo y dise?o Investigaci?n Acci?n Participaci?n, el cual permiti? transformar las pr?cticas de evaluaci?n de 23 docentes y de esta forma hacer un aporte a la comunidad acad?mica y a la comunidad educativa de la regi?n en torno al tema de la evaluaci?n que es tan importante en el proceso de ense?anza y aprendizaje y a la vez complejo.     Caracterizaci?n de los pacientes inscritos al programa de control de la hipertenci?n arterial del hospital San Carlos de Salda?a Tolima del 2015 al 2017

Recurso Electr?nicoLa hipertensi?n, tambi?n conocida como tensi?n arterial alta o elevada, es un trastorno en el que los vasos sangu?neos tienen una tensi?n persistentemente alta, lo que puede da?arlos. Cada vez que el coraz?n late, bombea sangre a los vasos, que llevan la sangre a todas las partes del cuerpo. La tensi?n arterial normal en adultos es de 120 mm Hg cuando el coraz?n late (tensi?n sist?lica) y de 80 mm Hg cuando el coraz?n se relaja (tensi?n diast?lica). Cuando la tensi?n sist?lica es igual o superior a 140 mm Hg y/o la tensi?n diast?lica es igual o superior a 90 mm Hg, la tensi?n arterial se considera alta o elevada. (12) La hipertensi?n arterial se constituye como la segunda enfermedad (diagnosticada) despu?s de la diabetes con mayor prevalencia entre los habitantes del municipio de Salda?a, Tolima, por lo tanto, la convierte en el factor de riesgo m?s importante para las enfermedades cardiovasculares que asociada con otros trastornos, aumenta de forma exponencial la probabilidad de padecer graves complicaciones de tipo card?aco, renal, neurol?gica o de cualquier otro sistema. (11) El objetivo de este estudio fue describir los factores sociodemogr?ficos, antecedentes relacionados con la patolog?a, como antecedentes familiares de Hipertensi?n Arterial y de otras comorbilidades, tratamiento recibido, h?bitos de vida; y percepci?n del programa de los pacientes. Se dise?? un estudio de tipo descriptivo, ya que su prop?sito se orient? a la identificaci?n de las caracter?sticas de la poblaci?n que asiste al programa de control de la Hipertensi?n Arterial de la IPS San Carlos E.S.E del municipio de Salda?a. Este estudio presento una poblaci?n de 98 pacientes analizados, con una edad promedio de 62.81 a?os (IC 95% 60.22 ? 65.39), de los cuales el 53.1% de los pacientes se concentr? en la edad de 60 a 79 a?os, la distribuci?n por sexos evidencio que 69.4% (IC 95%, 59.68 ? 77.64) de los casos fueron de sexo femenino, el 45.9% provienen del ?rea rural y el 52.3% tienen educaci?n b?sica primaria. Seg?n el estado civil de las personas el 68.4% de los pacientes viven con una pareja estable y el 98% pertenecen a los estratos I y II y est?n afiliados al r?gimen subsidiado de afiliaci?n en salud. Referente a los antecedentes familiares un 79.8% expresaron como antecedente familiar de gran importancia la Hipertensi?n Arterial y el 17.5% presentaban alg?n tipo cl?nico de Diabetes; y la evaluaci?n del tratamiento farmacol?gico a la patolog?a antihipertensiva evidencio que 98% casos consumen en la actualidad antihipertensivos, de los cuales el 83,7% lo consumen m?s de una vez al d?a y el 88.8% lo hace de acuerdo a la formulaci?n m?dica Palabras clave: Hipertensi?n arterial, descriptivo, tensi?n arterial.Hypertension, also known as high or high blood pressure, is a disorder in which the blood vessels have a persistently high blood pressure, which can damage them.     94 P?ginasRecurso Electr?nicoIntroducci?n: El S?ndrome de Burnout (SB) se define como la respuesta al estr?s laboral caracterizado por el cansancio emocional, la despersonalizaci?n y la baja realizaci?n personal, la desmotivaci?n, el desinter?s, el malestar interno o la insatisfacci?n laboral. Objetivo: Determinar la prevalencia del SB en el personal de enfermer?a de un hospital de referencia de una ciudad colombiana y su relaci?n con variables sociodemogr?ficas. Materiales y m?todos: Se llev? a cabo un estudio de corte transversal en una muestra aleatoria y representativa de 174 enfermeras(os), estratificada seg?n si la enfermera era profesional o auxiliar, en un hospital de referencia de una ciudad colombiana. Se utiliz? como instrumento para la determinaci?n del evento la escala validada en Colombia del MBI (Maslach Burnout Inventory). Para la obtenci?n de los resultados se utilizaron pruebas ji-cuadrado de independencia, t para diferencia de promedios en muestras independientes y an?lisis de la varianza de una v?a o de Kruskal Wal?s seg?n si las variables en los grupos de comparaci?n proven?an de una poblaci?n con distribuci?n normal. En an?lisis multivariado, se seleccionaron como variables candidatas a ingresar al modelo de regresi?n log?stica, aquellas que cumplieran con el criterio de Hosmer Lemeshow. En la construcci?n del modelo se tom? como medida de la asociaci?n el OR acompa?ado de su respectivo intervalo de confianza del 95%. Resultados: La prevalencia de Burnout fue del 20.1% (IC 95%: 13,9 26,4) y adem?s el 52,3% est?n a riesgo de padecerlo. Quienes afirmaron ser solteros/viudos/separados, las profesionales de enfermer?a, los que al momento de la encuesta ten?an una vinculaci?n temporal o de supernumerario, quienes laboraban en servicios administrativos/oncolog?a/camillero/esterilizaci?n y los 11 hombres y aquellos que afirmaron tener m?s de un contrato, fueron quienes presentaron indicadores de la proporci?n de Burnout mayores del 20,1%.En el an?lisis multivariado, los factores conjuntos que probablemente tienen mayor incidencia en la presencia del Burnout son el n?mero de hijos y ser hombre. Conclusiones: Con respecto a otros estudios, este estudio revela que la prevalencia del s?ndrome de Burnout en el hospital de referencia es mayor.Introduction: Burnout Syndrome (BS) is defined as the response to occupational stress characterized by emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and reduced personal accomplishment, discouragement, disinterest, internal discomfort or dissatisfaction labor. Objective: To determine the prevalence of BS nurses in a hospital reference a Colombian city and its relationship with sociodemographic variables. Materials and methods: A cross sectional study was conducted in a random and representative sample of 174 nurses, stratified according to whether they were professional or nurse assistant in a referral hospital of a Colombian city, was used as an instrument for determining the scale of the event in Colombia validated MBI (Maslach Burnout Inventory). To obtain the results chi- square test of independence, t-tests for mean differences in independent samples and analysis of variance or one-way Kruskal Wallis were used depending on whether the variables in the comparison groups were drawn from a population with normal distribution. In multivariate analysis, were selected as candidate variables to enter the logistic regression model those that met the criteria of Hosmer-Lemeshow. In building the model was taken as the measure of association OR accompanied by its respective confidence interval 95 %. Results: The prevalence of burnout was 201.1 % (95 % CI: 13.9 26.4) and also the 52.3 % are at risk for suffering.     Empresa minera, comunidades y empresas comunales : el caso de Consorcio Minero Horizonte

    Las empresas mineras en el Per? suelen fracasar en sus estrategias de acercamiento a las comunidades campesinas de su ?rea de influencia, lo que constituye una p?rdida econ?mica considerable para todos los grupos de inter?s relacionados. Esta investigaci?n analiza el caso exitoso de la empresa Consorcio Minero Horizonte, cuya estrategia de responsabilidad social le ha permitido mantener la licencia social con sus comunidades vinculadas. Esta estrategia consiste en estrechar las relaciones con la poblaci?n mediante la formaci?n de empresas comunales, las cuales act?an como instrumento de desarrollo que canaliza las oportunidades de negocio que la empresa minera genera. La organizaci?n de estas empresas, liderada por pobladores oriundos (comuneros), se ha complementado con la incorporaci?n de profesionales y t?cnicos, que le han dado una orientaci?n gerencial y mejorado su desempe?o como proveedor. Asimismo, los convenios con la minera y el trato preferente que reciben como proveedores de servicios y bienes, han permitido a las empresas comunales alcanzar una retribuci?n econ?mica significativa cuyos beneficios se han trasladado directamente a la poblaci?n, bajo el esquema de generaci?n de empleo y explotaci?n de recursos minerales de forma artesanal. Pero este no es un caso generalizado, en el pa?s se ha producido un n?mero creciente de conflictos sociales generados por la ejecuci?n de las operaciones mineras, los cuales pueden llegar hasta la paralizaci?n de proyectos legalmente aprobados y afectar el crecimiento del pa?s y la generaci?n de empleo. Hence, the development, design and implementation of pegadogical intervention project, employing 20 sessions, focused on the use of graphic organizers such as concept mapping, to implement them as a teaching tool in the development of conscious awareness of certain cognitive processes (metacognition); insofar as it takes place each of proposed activities. Finally, it is expected that the incorporation of Concept Maps as a teaching strategy in the classroom activities, the efficiency of the teaching is guaranteed, improving investigative, communication skills, analysis, interpretation and synthesis, using the skills of metacognition, students sixth graders of the New Gym Suba.     Life course trajectories of alcohol consumption in the United Kingdom using longitudinal data from nine cohort studies.

    Background Alcohol consumption patterns change across life and this is not fully captured in cross-sectional series data. Analysis of longitudinal data, with repeat alcohol measures, is necessary to reveal changes within the same individuals as they age. Such data are scarce and few studies are able to capture multiple decades of the life course. Therefore, we examined alcohol consumption trajectories, reporting both average weekly volume and frequency, using data from cohorts with repeated measures that cover different and overlapping periods of life. Methods Data were from nine UK-based prospective cohorts with at least three repeated alcohol consumption measures on individuals (combined sample size of 59,397 with 174,666 alcohol observations), with data spanning from adolescence to very old age (90 years plus). Information on volume and frequency of drinking were harmonised across the cohorts. Predicted volume of alcohol by age was estimated using random effect multilevel models fitted to each cohort. Quadratic and cubic polynomial terms were used to describe non-linear age trajectories. Changes in drinking frequency by age were calculated from observed data within each cohort and then smoothed using locally weighted scatterplot smoothing. Models were fitted for men and women separately. Results We found that, for men, mean consumption rose sharply during adolescence, peaked at around 25 years at 20 units per week, and then declined and plateaued during mid-life, before declining from around 60 years. A similar trajectory was seen for women, but with lower overall consumption (peak of around 7 to 8 units per week). Frequent drinking (daily or most days of the week) became more common during mid to older age, most notably among men, reaching above 50% of men. Conclusions This is the first attempt to synthesise longitudinal data on alcohol consumption from several overlapping cohorts to represent the entire life course and illustrates the importance of recognising that this behaviour is dynamic. The aetiological findings from epidemiological studies using just one exposure measure of alcohol, as is typically done, should be treated with caution. Having a better understanding of how drinking changes with age may help design intervention strategies

    Association between convalescent plasma treatment and mortality in COVID-19: a collaborative systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized clinical trials.

    Funder: laura and john arnold foundationBACKGROUND: Convalescent plasma has been widely used to treat COVID-19 and is under investigation in numerous randomized clinical trials, but results are publicly available only for a small number of trials. The objective of this study was to assess the benefits of convalescent plasma treatment compared to placebo or no treatment and all-cause mortality in patients with COVID-19, using data from all available randomized clinical trials, including unpublished and ongoing trials (Open Science Framework, https://doi.org/10.17605/OSF.IO/GEHFX ). METHODS: In this collaborative systematic review and meta-analysis, clinical trial registries (ClinicalTrials.gov, WHO International Clinical Trials Registry Platform), the Cochrane COVID-19 register, the LOVE database, and PubMed were searched until April 8, 2021. Investigators of trials registered by March 1, 2021, without published results were contacted via email. Eligible were ongoing, discontinued and completed randomized clinical trials that compared convalescent plasma with placebo or no treatment in COVID-19 patients, regardless of setting or treatment schedule. Aggregated mortality data were extracted from publications or provided by investigators of unpublished trials and combined using the Hartung-Knapp-Sidik-Jonkman random effects model. We investigated the contribution of unpublished trials to the overall evidence. RESULTS: A total of 16,477 patients were included in 33 trials (20 unpublished with 3190 patients, 13 published with 13,287 patients). 32 trials enrolled only hospitalized patients (including 3 with only intensive care unit patients). Risk of bias was low for 29/33 trials. Of 8495 patients who received convalescent plasma, 1997 died (23%), and of 7982 control patients, 1952 died (24%). The combined risk ratio for all-cause mortality was 0.97 (95% confidence interval: 0.92; 1.02) with between-study heterogeneity not beyond chance (I2 = 0%). The RECOVERY trial had 69.8% and the unpublished evidence 25.3% of the weight in the meta-analysis. CONCLUSIONS: Convalescent plasma treatment of patients with COVID-19 did not reduce all-cause mortality. These results provide strong evidence that convalescent plasma treatment for patients with COVID-19 should not be used outside of randomized trials. It is a research content analysis, qualitative assumed by students of the specialization of pedagogy at the University of Tolima, aimed at carrying out an analysis of teaching strategies in the learning outcome of the training entitled Technical Occupational Safety Center Industry and Construction of Regional SENA Tolima Ibagu? in the municipality in the period 2015- 2016. Thus this proposal serves to highlight the importance of using the screening tool of different teaching strategies and find the most attractive for strengthening learning in the form SENA.
