Investigation of main and secondary transformers on mitigation of voltage sags, swells and interruptions in unbalanced medium voltage distribution systems

Since voltage interruptions, sags and swells are Power Quality (PQ) disturbances with great economic impact, studies that seek alternatives to mitigate its effects have been conducted extensively. The PQ Brazilian standard names these disturbances as Short-Duration Voltage Variations (SDVVs), classified them in terms of magnitude, duration, and frequency of occurrence. These parameters are used to calculate the Impact Factor (IF) of SDVVs, a severity-characterization index of their incidence. In this context, this work assesses the influence of three-phase transformer winding connection and neutral grounding on the quantities of SDVVs and the IF observed by an industrial consumer in a distribution system. Fault simulations at ATPEMTP perform the study, considering two different winding connections for the secondary transformer and applying a grounding resistance to the neutral of the main transformer of the distribution system. The SDVVs are verified in two different ways: phase-to-ground and phase-to-phase voltages. It is observed that there are differences in these quantities and for the value of the IF due to the winding connection of the secondary transformer, the value of the neutral grounding resistance of the main transformer and the ways of voltage verification

O atendimento como diferencial competitivo em empresas do ramo fitness no Distrito Federal

Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (graduação)—Universidade de Brasília, Faculdade de Economia, Administração, Contabilidade e Gestão de Políticas Públicas, Departamento de Administração, 2020.Esta monografia traz reflexões sobre o atendimento ao público em estabelecimentos fitness do Distrito Federal, o seu desenvolvimento uni a concepção de estudiosos sobre o assunto. Ademais foi realizado uma revisão bibliográfica para apresentar as definições do que é atendimento e qual forma de mensura-lo. Complementar a isso foi elaborado um estudo de caráter descritivo por meio de uma pesquisa quantitativa estruturada, obtendo 131 respostas de ambos os sexos e idades a fim de coletar percepções do público fitness do Distrito Federal sobre o atendimento e suas influências no momento da compra . Os resultados da pesquisa apontaram que o atendimento é o maior responsável para a escolha do estabelecimento, seguido de preço e qualidade, a maioria dos respondentes avaliaram o atendimento nesses estabelecimentos como bom, porém com um ponto de atenção no recrutamento e seleção dos funcionários, visto que são os principais responsáveis para a concretização da venda e satisfação de seus clientes, como recomendações para trabalhos futuros, indico que realize uma análise de como a pandemia do Covid19 afetou o setor.This monograph brings reflections on public service in fitness establishments in the Federal District, its development uniting the conception of scholars on the subject. In addition, a bibliographic review was carried out to present the definitions of what care is and how to measure it. In addition to this, a descriptive study was carried out through a structured quantitative survey, obtaining 131 responses from both genders and ages in order to collect perceptions from the fitness public in the Federal District about the service and its influences at the time of purchase. The results of the research pointed out that the service is the most responsible for the choice of the establishment, followed by price and quality, most of the respondents evaluated the service in these establishments as good, but with a point of attention in the recruitment and selection of employees, since who are primarily responsible for the sale and satisfaction of their customers, as recommendations for future work, I suggest that you carry out an analysis of how the Covid pandemic19 affected the sector

Estimation of Spatially Dependent Coefficients in Heterogeneous Media in Diffusive Heat Transfer Problems

This article addresses the solution to the inverse problem in a one-dimensional transient partial differential equation with a source term, commonly encountered in heat transfer modeling for diffusion problems. The equation is utilized in a dimensionless form to derive a more general solution that is applicable across various contexts. The Transition Markov Chain Monte Carlo (TMCMC) method is utilized to estimate spatially variable thermophysical properties within the equation. This approach involves transitioning between probability densities, gradually refining the prior distribution to approximate the posterior distribution. A importância da analgesia no parto vaginal

Objetivo: Analisar a relevância da utilização de métodos de alívio da dor durante o parto vaginal. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura. Adotou-se como pergunta norteadora: “Qual é a importância da analgesia no parto vaginal?” Para construção da pesquisa, a coleta e análise de dados foi realizada através do Portal da Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde e das bases de dados Medical Literature Analysis and Retrievel System Online via PubMed e Google Acadêmico através dos seguintes Descritores em Ciências da Saúde (DeCS): “Analgesia Obstétrica”, “Dor do Parto” e “Trabalho de Parto” combinados entre si pelo operador booleano AND com seus respectivos correspondentes no Mesh Terms. Resultados e Discussão: Após o cumprimento dos procedimentos metodológicos, 13 artigos disponíveis no Portal da BVS, na base de dados PubMed e no Google Acadêmico foram selecionados, os quais retratam que a analgesia peridural é considerada o padrão para o manejo da dor durante o trabalho de parto. O acesso ao manejo da dor é um direito fundamental e não deve ser retido ou negado a qualquer paciente, independentemente da idade, etnia ou nível socioeconômico. Considerações Finais: O direito é violado se uma parturiente for incapaz de participar nos métodos padrão utilizados para gerir a dor do parto. A importância da analgesia durante o trabalho de parto está relacionada ao acesso que as parturientes têm aos cuidados do pré-natal

Discrete simulation applied to the production process of electronic components

The objective of this research is to demonstrate through simulation techniques and analyses performed in production systems of a company located in the city of Guarulhos and which produces an electronic component that has plastic, acrylic and steel, the improvements that can be applied in it with the use of a specialist software to assist in troubleshooting and help the manager in decision making. For the study, concepts of simulation, Monte Carlo method, queueing theory and the software Arena will be used. By simulating processes and evaluating performance, the software offers reports that assist the manager to see more clearly potential bottlenecks and points of improvement in process, thus effectively contributing to the company's competitiveness on the market. With the study presented in this article it will be possible to verify the importance of the use of this tool

Austrolimnius cleidecostae, a new species of riffle beetle (Coleoptera: Elmidae) from Brazil with habitat notes and updated key of the Brazilian species of the genus

Austrolimnius cleidecostae sp. nov. is one of the smallest species of Elmidae from the Neotropical region. The new species is described and illustrated based on male and female specimens. This species represents the first record in Elmidae of mandibles with an articulated, sclerotized process on inner subapical edge. The specimens were collected from streams in the Atlantic rainforest of São Paulo and Santa Catarina, and habitat notes are given. An updated key for the Austrolimnius Carter & Zeck, 1929 of Brazil is provided. Austrolimnis browni Hinton, 1971 and A. musgravei Hinton, 1939 are recorded for the first time from Brazil

MATA ATLÂNTICA BRASILEIRA: ANÁLISE DO EFEITO DE BORDA EM FRAGMENTOS FLORESTAIS REMANESCENTES DE UM HOTSPOT PARA CONSERVAÇÃO DA BIODIVERSIDADE

A destruição e fragmentação das paisagens naturais figuram entre as principais causas de perda de biodiversidade. Dentro desse contexto, o efeito de borda é uma comum problemática em fragmentos florestais, especialmente em áreas adjacentes à mananciais hídricos. Além disso, a crise hídrica da região Sudeste do Brasil nos últimos anos torna a análise florestal do entorno de reservatórios uma importante questão a ser estudada em detalhe. O presente estudo teve como objetivo comparar o efeito de borda em remanescentes florestais de Mata Atlântica no entorno de um reservatório que abastece a região metropolitana de São Paulo, mostrando que diferentes matrizes ao redor desses remanescentes florestais podem influenciar significativamente a conservação do manancial hídrico em um hotspot para conservação da biodiversidade. A área delimitada para realização dessa pesquisa foi localizada próxima à represa Atibainha, Sistema Cantareira, município de Nazaré Paulista, São Paulo, Brasil. Foram selecionados dez fragmentos florestais para análises de paisagem, sendo cinco deles circundados por urbanização e rodovias e os outros cinco por áreas de pastagem, levando em consideração fragmentos de forma, tamanho e isolamento semelhante. Os fragmentos florestais cujo entorno foi representado por rodovias e áreas urbanas (meio antrópico de uso intensivo) tiveram média de 33,64% de área de borda em sua superfície total, enquanto os fragmentos com entorno representado por matriz de pastagem (uso extensivo) tiveram média de 17,12% de área de borda, significativamente diferentes. Em conclusão, fragmentos florestais circundados por matriz antropizada por ações mais intensivas apresentam maior área e efeito de borda que os fragmentos florestais envoltos por matriz de uso menos intenso, tal como pastagens. Esses resultados podem ser utilizados como base para projetos de conservação que visem a recuperação de áreas florestais degradadas e fragmentadas, especialmente no entorno mananciais hídricos que abastecem grandes cidades inclusas geograficamente dentro do bioma Mata Atlântica.&nbsp

Fibrina rica em plaquetas e sua utilização no levantamento de seio maxilares
