The Masers Towards IRAS 20126+4104
We present MERLIN observations of OH, water and methanol masers towards the
young high mass stellar object IRAS 20126+4104. Emission from the 1665-MHz OH,
22-GHz H_2O and 6.7-GHz CH_3OH masers is detected and all originates very close
to the central source. The OH and methanol masers appear to trace part of the
circumstellar disk around the central source. The positions and velocities of
the OH and methanol masers are consistent with Keplerian rotation around a
central mass of ~ 5 Msun. The water masers are offset from the OH and methanol
masers and have significantly changed since they were last observed, but still
appear to be associated to the outflow from the source. All the OH masers
components are circularly polarised, in some cases reaching 100 percent while
some OH components also have linear polarisation. We identify one Zeeman pair
of OH masers and the splitting of this pair indicates a magnetic field of
strength ~ 11 mG within ~ 0.5" (850 AU) of the central source. The OH and
methanol maser emission suggest that the disk material is dense, n > 10^6
cm^-3, and warm, T > 125 K and the high abundance of methanol required by the
maser emission is consistent with the evaporation of the mantles on dust grains
in the disk as a result of heating or shocking of the disk materialComment: 9 pages, 7 figures and 6 table
Performance and cryptographic evaluation of security protocols in distributed networks using applied pi calculus and Markov Chain
The development of cryptographic protocols goes through two stages, namely, security verification and performance analysis. The verification of the protocol’s security properties could be analytically achieved using threat modelling, or formally using formal methods and model checkers. The performance analysis could be mathematical or simulation-based. However, mathematical modelling is complicated and does not reflect the actual deployment environment of the protocol in the current state of the art. Simulation software provides scalability and can simulate complicated scenarios, however, there are times when it is not possible to use simulations due to a lack of support for new technologies or simulation scenarios. Therefore, this paper proposes a formal method and analytical model for evaluating the performance of security protocols using applied pi-calculus and Markov Chain processes. It interprets algebraic processes and associates cryptographic operatives with quantitative measures to estimate and evaluate cryptographic costs. With this approach, the protocols are presented as processes using applied pi-calculus, and their security properties are an approximate abstraction of protocol equivalence based on the verification from ProVerif and evaluated using analytical and simulation models for quantitative measures. The interpretation of the quantities is associated with process transitions, rates, and measures as a cost of using cryptographic primitives. This method supports users’ input in analysing the protocol’s activities and performance. As a proof of concept, we deploy this approach to assess the performance of security protocols designed to protect large-scale, 5G-based Device-to-Device communications. We also conducted a performance evaluation of the protocols based on analytical and network simulator results to compare the effectiveness of the proposed approach

Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practice towards Occupational Health and Safety among Nursing Students in Gaza Strip, Palestine
Health and safety in the workplace are critical components in healthcare institutions. Unsafe working conditions are among the causes of poor quality of care and burnout. This study aims to assess the knowledge, attitudes, and practice of occupational health and safety among nursing students at Al-Israa University.
Methods: In this cross-sectional study, a structured online questionnaire was distributed from March to May 2021. Of the 350 eligible students, 219 students answered the questionnaire (Response rate=62.6). Data were analyzed using the statistical software IBM-SPSS version 22. Descriptive statistic, Independent- samples T-Test, and ANOVA tests were used.
Results: The majority of participants were female (81.7%) and studying in a diploma program. 21% of nursing students have experienced a needle stick injury. The mean scores for knowledge, attitudes, and practice were (M±SD:78.2% ±12.9, M±SD:80.6% ±7.1, and M±SD:81.2% ±7.6) respectively. In terms of knowledge, attitudes, and practice the mean scores were statistically significant between nursing students who attended a safety precautions course and those who didn not (P-value <.05). In terms of attitudes, the mean scores were statistically significant between diploma and bachelor students (P-value =.026).In terms of practice, the means scores were statistically significant between males and females (P-value =.017), nursing students who had experience with needle sticks and those who didn’t (P-value =.015).
Conclusion: The authors recommend that clinical training departments and universities continue to offer occupational health and safety courses and training for health science students. Since the training had a positive impact on the students' practices.
Rhizobacteria-mediated Induced Resistance in Barley against Cochliobolus sativus under Field Conditions
The effect of four rhizobacterial strains on the severity of spot blotch disease
caused by cochliobolus sativus was evaluated for two growing
seasons under rainfed conditions. Three barley genotypes were used as host
plant. All strains reduced C. sativus severity, with effect
more pronounced when Pseudomonas putida BTP1 and
Bacillus subtilis Bs2508 were used. The disease reduction
was up to 56% in Arabi Abiad / P. putida BTP1. The grain yield
was not obviously affected by the presence of the rhizobacteria, except some
signifitive increase in season 2. Raising the resistance by soaking seed with
rhizobacterial strains might be of ultimate value in agriculture

The OH Masers Towards IRAS 19092+0841
Context. Maser emission is a strong tool for studying high mass star forming
regions and their evolutionary stages. OH masers in particular can trace the
circumstellar material around protostars and determine their magnetic field
strengths at milliarcsecond resolution.
Aims. Imaging OH maser mission towards high mass protostellar objects to
determine their evolutionary stages and to locate the detected maser emission
in the process of high mass star formation.
Methods. In 2007, we surveyed OH maser towards 217 high mass protostellar
objects to study its presence. In this paper, we present a follow up MERLIN
observations of a ground state OH maser emission towards one of these objects,
IRAS 19092+0841.
Results. Emission from the two OH main spectral lines, 1665 and 1667 MHz,
were detected close to the central object. The positions and velocities of the
OH maser features have been determined. The masers are distributed over a
region of ~ 500 corresponding to 22400 AU (or ~ 0.1 pc) at a distance of 4.48
kpc. The polarization properties of the OH maser features were determined as
well. We identify three Zeeman pairs from which we inferred a magnetic field
strength of ~ 4:4mG pointing towards the observer.
Conclusions. The relatively small velocity spread and the relatively wide
spacial distribution of the OH maser features support the suggestion that this
object could be in an early evolutionary state before the presence of disk
and/or jet/outfows.Comment: 6 pages, 2 figures and 3 table
