СЮЖЕТНА ФУНКЦІЯ МАГІЧНИХ ПРЕДМЕТІВ У РОМАНІ ГОФМАНА “МАЛЮК ЦАХЕС, НА ПРІЗВИСЬКО ЦИНОБЕР”

The works of a well-known German romanticist writer E.T.A. Hoffmann provide a rich variety of materialimages which play an important part in the plot development. It is the plot-constructing function of the magicalobjects itself, as represented in Hoffmann’s fairy-tale “Little Zaches, nicknamed Zinnober”, that makes out thesubject of this paper. The author argues that the magical things supplant the rest of material objects appearingin the texts, i.e. every object acquires magical properties. She also tries to prove that Hoffmann was the fi rstto show the power of things over the human psyche and habits.Твори німецького письменника епохи романтизму Е.Т.А. Гофмана густо насичені предметнимиобразами, які відіграють активну роль у розвитку сюжету. Саме сюжетна функція магічних предметів указці “Малюк Цахес, на прізвисько Цинобер” і становить предмет дослідження статті. Авторка наголошує,що магічні предмети у творі витісняють звичайний речовий світ; усяка річ тут пройнята чарівністю.Привертає увагу дослідниці й той факт, що Гофман уперше показав владу речей над психікою людиниі над її звичками

Research of the influence of design parameters on the bearing capacity of a spatial truss

В даній роботі розроблено та досліджено скінченно-елементні моделі конструктивних схем просторових чотиригранних розкісних ферм з трьома варіантами висоти та п’ятьма варіантами кута нахилу розкосів при заданих однакових умовах (перерізах елементів, довжині та ширині ферми). Проаналізувавши отримані результати, встановлено, що оптимальний кут для всіх серій становитиме α=50°, також при порівнянні технік економічних показників раціональною є висота Н=2,15 м. Отримані результати можуть використовуватися, як проектними організаціями при виготовленні проєктнокошторисної документації, так і проєктно-конструкторськими відділами на заводах з виготовлення металоконструкційIn this work, finite-element models of structural schemes of spatial quadrilateral skew truss with three variants of height and five variants of the tilt angle of braces under given identical conditions (cross-sections of elements, length and width of the truss) are developed and investigated. After analyzing the results, it was found that the optimal tilt angle for all series will be α = 50°. Also comparing technical and economic indicators it is shown that rational height for the truss is H = 2.15 m. International Consensus Statement on Rhinology and Allergy: Rhinosinusitis

Background: The 5 years since the publication of the first International Consensus Statement on Allergy and Rhinology: Rhinosinusitis (ICAR‐RS) has witnessed foundational progress in our understanding and treatment of rhinologic disease. These advances are reflected within the more than 40 new topics covered within the ICAR‐RS‐2021 as well as updates to the original 140 topics. This executive summary consolidates the evidence‐based findings of the document. Methods: ICAR‐RS presents over 180 topics in the forms of evidence‐based reviews with recommendations (EBRRs), evidence‐based reviews, and literature reviews. The highest grade structured recommendations of the EBRR sections are summarized in this executive summary. Results: ICAR‐RS‐2021 covers 22 topics regarding the medical management of RS, which are grade A/B and are presented in the executive summary. Additionally, 4 topics regarding the surgical management of RS are grade A/B and are presented in the executive summary. Finally, a comprehensive evidence‐based management algorithm is provided. Conclusion: This ICAR‐RS‐2021 executive summary provides a compilation of the evidence‐based recommendations for medical and surgical treatment of the most common forms of RS
