Educação pública: concepções e projetos. Uberlândia (1950-1970)

Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação)O presente trabalho busca compreender como a questão da educação, principalmente a educação pública, foi concebida e conduzida pelos poderes públicos em Uberlândia, entre os anos de 1950 e 1970, e como a imprensa local se posicionou diante disso. As principais fontes da administração municipal utilizadas foram os processos da Câmara de Vereadores, incluindo os projetos de lei, os pareceres das comissões de vereadores, as modificações em alguns casos, e a redação final das leis. Sobre a imprensa, foram analisadas sobretudo edições do jornal “Correio de Uberlândia” e da revista “Uberlândia Ilustrada”. Algumas pesquisas com temáticas semelhantes foram significativas, sobretudo para a seleção e localização de documentos. A História Social foi a principal orientação teórica deste trabalho; conseqüentemente, a educação foi pensada enquanto prática marcada pelas relações sociais da sociedade capitalista. Na maioria dos documentos é possível perceber que o Estado se responsabilizava minimamente pela educação pública, havia grande incentivo às escolas particulares, muitas instituições privadas ou filantrópicas assumiam responsabilidades do Estado, e a Educação como um todo estava apoiada nos valores do capitalismo. Por causa disso, haviam instituições e objetivos educacionais considerados próprios para cada camada social

Condições políticas e económicas para a maioria de esquerda

No final de 2015 o sistema político português pôde observar a formação do primeiro governo constitucional apoiado parlamentarmente por partidos da esquerda radical. Este evento constituiu-se como a principal motivação da presente dissertação, sendo que a mesma procura responder a três questões distintas, nomeadamente: i) quais as causas que explicam a ausência do estabelecimento de dinâmicas cooperativas entre os partidos da esquerda portuguesa até 2015; ii) quais as razões que justificam que esta experiência tenha ocorrido em 2015; iii) encontram-se, ou não, reunidas as condições para a repetição das atuais dinâmicas de cooperação. Para responder satisfatoriamente a tais questões, foram identificados determinados instrumentos teóricos da área da Ciência Política utilizados anteriormente em problemáticas semelhantes. Através desses instrumentos apurou-se que os partidos políticos priorizam, em maior ou menor grau, a conquista do executivo (office-seeking), influenciar o desenho das políticas públicas (policy-seeking) ou maximizar os resultados eleitorais (voteseeking), criando-se uma dinâmica triangular entre os três objetivos. As ações dos partidos em diferentes períodos são explicadas não só pelas suas prioridades, mas também por três géneros de fatores: institucionais, organizacionais e conjunturais. Os primeiros correspondem às regras do sistema e ao contexto no qual os partidos interagem; os fatores organizacionais relacionam-se com as características internas dos partidos ou com questões diretamente ligadas aos mesmos; por último, os fatores conjunturais englobam todos aqueles que possuem uma localização no espaço e no tempo específica e de curta-duração. As questões que guiam este trabalho são respondidas com base nos instrumentos referidosIn the end of 2015 the Portuguese political system saw the development of the first constitutional government supported parliamentary by radical left parties. This event constituted itself as the principal motivation of the present dissertation as it seeks to respond to three distinct questions, mainly: i) the causes that explain the absence of the establishment of cooperative dynamics among the portuguese left-wing parties until 2015; ii) the reasons that justify this experience occurring in 2015; iii) whether or not the conditions are fulfilled for the repetition of the current cooperation dynamics. To respond satisfactorily to such issues, certain theoretical instruments previously used in similar problems of the area of Political Science have been identified. Through these instruments it was found that political parties prioritize, to a greater or lesser degree, the conquest of the executive (office-seeking), influence the design of public policies (policy-seeking) or maximize election results (voteseeking), creating a triangular dynamic between the three goals. The actions of the parties in different periods are explained not only by their properties, but also by three kinds of factors: institutional, organizational and conjunctural. The first correspond to the rules of the system and the context in which the parties interact; the organizational factors relate to internal characteristics of the parties or matters directly linked to them; lastly, the conjunctural factors encompass all those who possess a short term specific location in space and time. The role of Senescent Stem-Galls over Arboreal Ant Communities Structure in Eremanthus erythropappus (DC.) MacLeish (Asteraceae) Trees

The extensive occupation of canopy trees by ants can be attributed to many factors, such as the presence of structures that provide food and shelter. Structures induced by other insects in host plants, like senescent galls, can provide shelter and a nesting place for many species of ants. The main objectives of this work were: (1) to describe the ant communities found in canopies of candeia trees (Eremanthus erythropappus), including the species which use galls as nesting sites; (2) verify the role of galls in determining the structure and composition of the ant communities and (3) to evaluate whether the size and shape of galls are important to the choice of nesting sites by ants. Specifically, the following questions were investigated: 1 – Are larger galls more frequently occupied by ants than smaller galls? 2 – Does gall shape (globular and fusiform) influence occupation? 3 – Which species of ants are present in the canopies of candeias and which are occupying galls? Senescent galls were collected in locations in the southern portion of the Espinhaço Mountain Range, state of Minas Gerais, southeastern Brazil. In total, 3,195 galls were collected and 19 ant species were recorded. Only 176 galls (5.5%) had been occupied by ants, and these were represented by 11 species. The most frequent species found occupying galls were Myrmelachista nodigera, with 48 colonies; Nesomyrmex spininodis, with 37 colonies; and Crematogaster complex crinosa sp. 1, with 29 colonies. The ants occupied galls with greater volume and diameter. Even considering the low occupation frequency, senescent galls in E. erythropappus are used by ants, either as outstations or satellite nests of polydomic colonies, and may be important in determining ant species composition in canopy trees

Anatomia foliar de duas espécies de Phalocallis Herbert (Iridaceae)

In this study, the leaf anatomy of two species of Phalocallis natives in Brazil are described and illustrated. The anatomical features are in according with the structural possibilities for the tribe Tigridieae and family Iridaceae. Both the recognition of species and genus and its separation from most of the other native members of Tigridieae proved to be possible. It stands out for the genus recognition, the plicated leaves, the occurrence of lignified sclerenchyma caps inside the larger veins, as well as the absence of unlignified fibers at the margin of leaves. For the species, are highlighted the shape and arrangement of parenchyma cells, presence or not of lignified fibers on xylem side of the larger vascular bundles and the number of smaller veins between them.ocorrência natural no Brasil. As características anatômicas observadas estão dentro das possibilidades estruturais da tribo Tigridieae e família Iridaceae. Tanto a identificação das espécies quanto o reconhecimento do gênero e sua separação da maioria dos demais integrantes nativos de Tigridieae mostraram-se possíveis. Para o reconhecimento do gênero, destacam-se as seguintes características: folhas plicadas, ocorrência de grande quantidade de esclerênquima lignificado no interior das nervuras de maior calibre e ausência de fibras deslignificadas na extremidade das folhas. Para a separação das espécies, salienta-se a forma e orientação das células parenquimáticas, a presença ou não de fibras lignificadas no lado do xilema das grandes nervuras, bem como a quantidade de pequenos feixes vasculares existente entre eles

ABORDAGEM DO RACIOCÍNIO PROPORCIONAL EM ALGUNS LIVROS DIDÁTICOS PARA A EJA

This text is the result of a master's research developed in connection with the Graduate Program in Education at the Federal University of Mato Grosso. The objective of the study was to analyze whether the way in which the proportionality content is made available in the selected textbook collections meets the two roles of mathematical activity - functional and formative - as highlighted in the Curriculum Proposal for the Second Segment of Youth and Adult Education (YAE). Based on Laurence Bardin's (2011) content analysis, an interpretation of three book collections, which were used in public schools between 2002 and 2010, was carried out, seeking to observe whether they presented, as a starting point for mathematical activity, the resource of problem solving and if the aspects considered essential for the development of proportional reasoning were mobilized. The interpretation shows that two of the selected collections provided the integration of the formative role with the functional role, while the third collection partially meets this integration, suggesting the possibility of the Mathematics teacher using the books selected in the research not as a central guiding resource of their practice, but as a tool that complements their pedagogical practice.Este texto es el resultado de una investigación de maestría desarrollada en el Programa de Posgrado en Educación de la Universidad Federal de Mato Grosso. El objetivo de la investigación fue analizar si la forma por medio de la cual el contenido de proporcionalidad está disponible en las colecciones de libros didácticos seleccionadas cumple con los dos roles de la actividad matemática, funcional y formativa, como se destaca en la Propuesta Curricular del Segundo Segmento de Educación de Jóvenes y Adultos (EJA). Con base en el análisis de contenido de Laurence Bardin (2011), se realizó una interpretación de tres colecciones, utilizadas en escuelas públicas entre 2002 y 2010, buscando observar si presentaban, como punto de partida para la actividad matemática, el recurso de resolución de problemas y se movilizaron los aspectos considerados fundamentales para el desarrollo del razonamiento proporcional. La interpretación muestra que dos de las colecciones seleccionadas proponen la integración del rol formativo con el rol funcional, mientras que la tercera colección responde parcialmente a esta integración, sugiriendo la posibilidad de que el docente de Matemáticas utilice los libros seleccionados en la investigación no como principal recurso orientador de su práctica, sino como una herramienta que complementa su dinámica pedagógica.Este texto resulta de uma pesquisa de mestrado desenvolvida no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Educação da Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso. O objetivo da pesquisa consistiu em analisar se o modo como o conteúdo de proporcionalidade está disponibilizado nas coleções de livros didáticos selecionadas atende aos dois papéis da atividade matemática – funcional e formativo – conforme destaca a Proposta Curricular para o Segundo Segmento da Educação de Jovens e Adultos. Pautados na análise de conteúdo de Laurence Bardin (2011), realizou-se a análise interpretativa de três coleções, utilizadas na rede pública de ensino entre os anos de 2002 e 2010, buscando observar se estas apresentavam, como ponto de partida da atividade matemática, o recurso de resolução de problemas e se mobilizavam os aspectos considerados essenciais para o desenvolvimento do raciocínio proporcional. A análise aponta que duas das coleções selecionadas proporcionam a integração do papel formativo com o papel funcional e a terceira coleção atende, parcialmente, a essa integração, sugerindo a possibilidade de o professor de Matemática utilizar os livros selecionados na pesquisa, não como recurso central orientador de sua prática, mas sim como recurso que complementa a sua prática pedagógica

Quantitative assessment of the vertebral pneumaticity in an anhanguerid pterosaur using micro-CT scanning

Research on the postcranial skeletal pneumaticity in pterosaurs is common in the literature, but most studies present only qualitative assessments. When quantitative, they are done on isolated bones. Here, we estimate the Air Space Proportion (ASP) obtained from micro-CT scans of the sequence from the sixth cervical to the fourth dorsal vertebra of an anhanguerine pterosaur to understand how pneumaticity is distributed in these bones. Pneumatisation of the vertebrae varied between 68 and 72% of their total volume. The neural arch showed higher ASP in all vertebrae. Anhanguerine vertebral ASP was generally higher than in sauropod vertebrae but lower than in most extant birds. The ASP observed here is lower than that calculated for the appendicular skeleton of other anhanguerian pterosaurs, indicating the potential existence of variation between axial and appendicular pneumatisation. The results point to a pattern in the distribution of the air space, which shows an increase in the area occupied by the trabecular bone in the craniocaudal direction of the vertebral series and, in each vertebra, an increase of the thickness of the trabeculae in the zygapophyses. This indicates that the distribution of pneumatic diverticula in anhanguerine vertebrae may not be associated with stochastic patterns

DA PSICOLOGIA ANALÍTICA AO TIKTOK: O QUE PERFIS QUE PROMOVEM E SE APROPRIAM DO CONCEITO DE ARQUÉTIPO SUGEREM SOBRE A CONSTITUIÇÃO IDENTITÁRIA

Coined originally by the psychoanalyst Carl Jung, the concept of archetype has been appropriated by coaches and content creators in the esoteric and self help market to sell courses, consultations and media products focused on personal development. In simple steps, they teach how to activate archetypes that, it is believed, can influence our way of being and acting, favoring the attainment of professional and personal gains. In this article our aim is to understand how such professionals promote, through the commercial appropriation of the archetype concept, consumption rituals and forms of self-presentation on social media platforms. For that, we conducted an exploratory study based on twenty one videos about archetypes posted on TikTok. We observed that the phenomenon inspires self portrayals on social media and combines two dispositions: the promise that we can be our best version and that we can be whatever we want.Cunhado originalmente pelo psicanalista Carl Jung, o conceito de arquétipo tem sido apropriado por coaches e criadores de conteúdos relacionados ao mercado esotérico e de autoajuda para vender cursos, consultorias e produtos midiáticos com foco em desenvolvimento pessoal. Em passos simples, se ensina como ativar arquétipos que, segundo se acredita, podem influenciar nosso modo de ser e de agir, favorecendo a obtenção de ganhos pessoais e profissionais. Neste artigo, temos como objetivo entender como tais profissionais promovem, por meio da apropriação comercial do conceito de arquétipo, rituais de consumo e formas de apresentação do self em plataformas de redes sociais. Para isso, realizamos um estudo exploratório com base em 21 vídeos a respeito de arquétipos publicados no TikTok. Growth of complex crystal on biopolymer surface: synthesis and characterization

Although the physical properties of polymers already have been modified by changing different synthetic parameters, the effect of the crystallization by the doping is still rarely explored. In this work, a facile synthesis of composite chitosan film with copper L-valinate crystal (CHLVCu) was investigate. Composite films were prepared by the addition of copper II L-valine crystals (LVCu) in concentrations of 0.05, and 0.1 in 0.2% chitosan solution. The composite film of LVCu crystal dispersed in CH solution has been successfully obtained by the technique of solvent slow evaporation at low temperature. CHLVCu composite films are crystalline stabilizing the trans-LVCu phase. Homogeneity and low thermal stability have been proven by thermal measurements. The crystal growth takes place in the polymer surface. In addition, it is noteworthy that to the best of our knowledge, crystals complex of the LVCu has not been used as incorporate chitosan film and study has reported changes in physical properties composite film.
