Metodología para optimizar el seguimiento del máximo punto de potencia de los generadores fotovoltaicos usando técnicas de control multi-modelo

Este trabajo presenta el estudio del seguimiento del punto máximo de potencia de una celda fotovoltaica, utilizando algoritmos de optimización multi-modelo como Pattern Search Method (PSM, por sus siglas en inglés) para mejorar la eficiencia de la transformación de energía en una celda fotovoltaica. La primera parte muestra el estado del arte de los diferentes algoritmos empleados para el seguimiento del punto máximo de potencia (MPPT, por sus siglas en inglés) y algunos métodos para el cálculo de los parámetros del modelo matemático de un diodo del módulo fotovoltaico. En el capítulo 1 se describen los algoritmos de optimización para el MPPT: Perturbar y observar (P&O, por sus siglas en inglés), y Optimización de enjambre de partículas (PSO, por sus siglas en inglés), los algoritmos fueron simulados utilizando la herramienta PSIM®, software dedicado a la simulación de circuitos de potencia con módulos especializados en energías renovablesFor computing the mathematical model parameters of a diode in a photovoltaic module. The Research Journey as a Challenge Towards New Trends

MPPT of a Photovoltaic Panels Array with Partial Shading Using the IPSM with Implementation Both in Simulation as in Hardware

This article presents a method for the Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) of a Photovoltaic (PV) panels array with partial shading, applying an Improved Pattern Search Method (IPSM). The method is simulated in PSIM @ and then implemented in hardware in the loop system, emulating the PV array on an industrial computer (Speedgoat) that allows real-time emulations and the IPSM is applied in an Arduino DUE. The experiments were carried out with TP245S-20/WD, KYOCERA KC200GT, YINGLY SOLAR JS65, and MSX60 photovoltaic panels. The results are the proper MPPT with changes in partial shading over time, inducing the increase and decrease of the maximum power point. The results obtained are the search for the global maximum power point in a matrix of panels in which, due to partial shading, it might have several local maximum power points, and thanks to the IPSM algorithm, it always manages to find the global maximum power point. Finally, the results are compared with other methods where it was found that IPSM had faster answers

Estimación de los Parámetros de un Modelo de una Celda Fotovoltaica Utilizando un Algoritmo de Optimización de Búsqueda de Patrones

En este artículo se propone un nuevo método para la estimación de los parámetros del modelo matemático de una celda fotovoltaica de un solo diodo. El trabajo está basado en el algoritmo de optimización llamado Pattern Search Method (MPS, por sus siglas en inglés). Los parámetros estimados son: corriente de diodo, corriente de saturación, resistencia en serie, resistencia en paralelo y el factor del diodo ideal. Los resultados muestran que es posible obtener el modelo equivalente a través de la identificación de los parámetros. Adicionalmente, los resultados obtenidos son comparados con datos obtenidos mediante un emulador de celdas fotovoltaicas. Para realizar los experimentos se asumió condiciones controladas, es decir, temperatura e irradiación constantes. De esta manera, se puede deducir que el método propuesto se puede utilizar en aplicaciones de control para el seguimiento del máximo punto de potencia (MPPT, por sus siglas en inglés) de celdas fotovoltaicas

Estimación de los parámetros del modelo de un solo diodo del módulo fotovoltaico aplicando el método de optimización basado en búsqueda de patrones mejorado

In this article, we propose the use of the optimization algorithm based on impro-ved pattern search (IPSM), applying it to the estimation of the model parameters of a single diode of a photovoltaic cell. The parameters to be estimated are the photovoltaic current, the saturation current of the diode, the series resistance, the resistance in parallel, and the ideality factor of the diode. The estimation is made from the data obtained from a known curve, that is to say, that a photovoltaic cell could be characterized and from the data of the curve the parameters are ex-tracted. The results are the identification of the parameters and the accuracy of the model concerning the reference at the point of maximum power (MPP). Additio-nally, a comparison is made with the model obtained with three estimations made with the particle swarm optimization algorithm (PSO), under the same conditions in the number of particles and iterations. The error found shows the similarity of the model with the reference obtained using the IPSM algorithm.En este artículo se propone el uso de un algoritmo de optimización basado en la búsqueda de patrones mejorada, aplicándolo a la estimación de los parámetros modelo de un diodo de una célula fotovoltaica. Los parámetros a estimar son corriente fotovoltaica, la saturación de corriente del diodo, la resistencia serie, la resistencia en paralelo y el factor de idealidad del diodo. La estimación es hecha a partir de los datos obtenidos de una curva conocida, es decir, que la celda fotovoltaica puede caracterizarse y los pará-metros son extraídos de los datos de la curva. Los resultados son la identificación de los parámetros y la exactitud del modelo con respecto a la referencia en el punto de máxima potencia (MPP). Adicionalmente se realiza una comparación con el modelo obtenido con tres estimaciones realizadas con el algoritmo de optimización enjambre de partículas (PSO), bajo las mismas condiciones en cantidad de partículas y de iteraciones. El error encontrado muestra la similitud del modelo con la referencia obtenida de acuerdo con el algoritmo IPSM

Habitat use by Triaenodon obesus (Carcharhiniformes: Carcharhinidae), Rhincodon typus (Orectolobiformes: Rhincodontidae) and Manta birostris (Myliobatiformes: Myliobatidae) in Gorgona Island National Natural Park, Colombian Pacific Ocean

Se evaluó el uso de hábitat del aletiblanco Triaenodon obesus, la mantaraya Manta birostris y el tiburón ballena Rhincodon typus en la Isla Gorgona, a partir de 427 inmersiones de buceo y del análisis de 866 fotografías y videos. T. obesus se observó a lo largo del año, y su presencia se correlacionó con profundidades entre 20 y 30m (66.9%), fondos areno-rocosos (79.8%) y las zonas occidental (61.2%) y sur (52.9%), con mayores congregaciones en esta última zona. R. typus y M. birostris se avistaron entre 28 y 33oC y su presencia se correlacionó con la zona norte de la isla, área de mayor abundancia de zoo e ictioplancton. Se identificaron 5 tiburones ballena, 15 mantarrayas y 38 aletiblancos, 9 de los cuales fueron recapturados en años diferentes. La mayoría de los aletiblancos recapturados fueron observados solos, en reposo y sobre el fondo y en la misma zona, sugiriendo alta filopatría; sin embargo, la recaptura de tres individuos en zonas diferentes, indican conectividad de la especie en la isla. Gorgona es un área importante para la reproducción y crecimiento del aletiblanco, y un área de paso para el tiburón ballena y la mantarraya, los cuales se observan con mayor frecuencia entre marzo y septiembre, pero no forman agregaciones.The ecotouristic approach to sharks and rays has developed rapidly in the last 20 years. We studied three species in Gorgona Island from 427 dives ( 2004-2011), including 866 photographs and videos. There was at least one sighting in 34.4% of the dives, and 25.0% of the photos and videos were useful for identification of individuals. T. obesus was seen in all months of the year, and its presence was correlated with depths of 20-30m (66.9%), sandy-rocky bottoms (79.8%), and western (61.2%) and south (52.9%) areas of the island. The southern area had groups of up to 9 individuals but abundance was not correlated with zone, depth, bottom type or temperature. R. typus and M. birostris were mainly seen at 28- 33oC, in the north, where plankton was more abundant. We identified individually five whale sharks, 15 manta rays and 38 whitetip sharks, 9 of which (one ray and 8 whitetip sharks) were recaptured in different months and years. Most of recaptured whitetip sharks were alone (63.06%), resting (49.37%) and on the bottom (82.91%) in the same area of the photographic capture, suggesting a high philopatry of this species on the island; however, the recapture of three individuals in different zones indicate connectivity between of this species in the west, south and north zones. The Gorgona Island is an important area for breeding and growth of T. obesus, with presence of gravid females and births. It is also a seasonal passage area for R. typus and M. birostris, which occur most frequently between March and September, but do not form aggregations around the island. Rev. Biol. Informe sobre Inflación - Junio de 1999

Ante la inestabilidad cambiaria experimentada durante el mes de junio y originada por los problemas que afronta el sistema financiero, el deterioro de las condiciones de financiamiento externo, los menores recursos del sector público, una recesión económica más fuerte de lo esperado y la incertidumbre en torno a los acuerdo de paz entre otros factores, el Gobierno y la Junta Directiva anunciaron el 27 de junio un nuevo programa macroeconómico. Dicho programa contempló un desplazamiento de la banda cambiaria, una meta de inflación del 10% para el año 2000, un crecimiento de la base monetaria del 12% en promedio, y un compromiso de austeridad fiscal que, entre otras cosas, implicará que los gastos del Gobierno Central, diferentes de intereses, aumenten por debajo del 8,1% anual en el próximo año. De igual manera, con el propósito de consolidar el programa macroeconómico y aumentar la disponibilidad de divisas del país, la Junta Directiva y el Gobierno Nacional decidieron adelantar negociaciones con el Fondo Monetario Internacional tendientes a garantizar recursos externos adicionales del orden de los 3 mil millones de dólares para la balanza de pagos. Con estas medidas se espera restablecer la estabilidad cambiaria. Tomando en cuenta las anteriores consideraciones, la Junta Directiva, en su sesión del 23 de julio, redujo sus tasas de interés de intervención en un punto porcentual

Analiza la inflación a marzo de 1999, medida por el IPC, donde alcanzó 13.5%, inferior en 5.7 puntos porcentuales a la registrada en marzo de 1998. Donde los indicadores de inflación básica confirman que en el primer trimestre de este año disminuyeron notablemente las presiones inflacionarias, pues todo los indicadores evaluados por el Banco muestran una pronunciada caída desde enero. La inflación básica medida como el promedio de los cuatro indicadores, descendió el 17,0% al 13.1%, entre marzo de 1998 y marzo de 1999

En el tiempo reciente, Mauricio Vásquez ha desarrollado, en conjunto con un grupo activo de estudiantes de la Maestría en Comunicación Transmedia del Departamento de Comunicación Social de la Universidad EAFIT, un proyecto pedagógico singular el cual consiste en hacer un retrato de la fiesta barroca entre los siglo XVI y XIX. Esta celebración de origen colonial estaba constituida por una serie muy amplia de prácticas escénicas y artefactuales que resultan familiares a la variantología de los medios puestos que, temática y operativamente, hacen referencia a fenómenos mecánicos, ópticos y escénicos descritos por pensadores como el mallorquín Ramón Llull (1232-1315) o el alemán Athanasius Kircher (1602-1680). Algunos de los tópicos expuestos en los nueve capítulos del presente libro son : la curaduría del programa de la fiesta barroca, los jeroglíficos, la arquitectura temporal, los carros alegóricos, el teatro, los gabinetes ópticos, los espectáculos de variedades, las fantasmagorías y las sesiones de espiritismo.
