    DESAIN DIDAKTIS MATERI PERBANDINGAN PADA MATEMATIKA SEKOLAH UNTUK MAHASISWA CALON GURU

    Pemahaman yang baik terhadap pengetahuan matematika sekolah khususnya materi perbandingan urgent dimiliki oleh mahasiswa calon guru matematika. Hal ini penting mengingat dalam mendukung tugas profesionalnya sebagai pendidik Namun, ternyata, masih ditemukan mahasiswa yang mengalami learning obstacle pada saat mempelajarinya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan desain didaktis rekomendasi materi perbandingan pada matematika sekolah yang didahului dengan melakukan analisis scholarly knowledge dan organisasi praxeology oleh peneliti dalam mendukung meminimalisasi learning obstacle mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi hermeneutik. Analisis data dilakukan sesuai dengan tiga tahapan dalam Didactical Design Research (DDR), yaitu prospektif, metapedadidaktik, dan retrospektif. Partisipan dalam mengidentifikasi learning obstacle sebanyak 25 orang mahasiswa yang telah lulus perkuliahan Kapita Selekta Matematika SMP; sedangkan partisipan dalam implementasi desain hipotesis sebanyak 20 partisipan yang sedang mengikuti perkuliahan Kapita Selekta Matematika SMP pada salah satu Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Swasta di Jawa Barat. Peneliti sebagai instrumen utama pada penelitian ini juga menggunakan beberapa instrumen pendukung diantaranya tes diagnostik, pedoman wawancara, dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Karakteristik learning obstacle mahasiswa calon guru yaitu didactical obstacle pada susunan materi perbandingan, ontogenic obstacle pada teknis dasar aritmetika, dan epistemological obstacle pada pengetahuan konsep rasio dan proporsi; (2) Susunan hypothetical learning trajectory materi perbandingan, (3) Desain didaktis hipotetik pembelajaran perbandingan berdasarkan Theory of Didactical Situation (TDS) dengan empat situasi yaitu aksi, formulasi, validasi dan institusionaisasi; (4) hasil implementasi desain didaktis hipotesis materi perbandingan menunjukkan prediksi respons mahasiswa sebagaimana tercantum pada rancangan antisipasi didaktis pedagogis yang sudah dirancang sebelumnya, (5) Analisis hasil penelitian menghasilkan desain didaktis rekomendasi materi perbandingan. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya desain didaktis materi perbandingan pada matematika sekolah yang menunjang pengembangan kompetensi profesional calon guru. Sehingga mahasiswa calon guru lebih siap mengajarkan topik perbandingan dengan efektif. Identifikasi karakteristik learning obstacles materi perbandingan setelah implementasi desain didaktis menjadi salah satu tindak lanjut yang direkomendasikan penelitian ini. A good understanding of school mathematics knowledge, particularly ratio topics, is urgent for pre-service mathematics teachers. This is important considering that in supporting their professional duties as educators. However, many pre-service mathematics teachers still face learning obstacles when studying this material. This study aims to develop a didactic design for teaching ratio topics in school mathematics by analyzing scholarly knowledge and praxeological organization to help minimize these learning obstacles. The research employed a qualitative method with a hermeneutic phenomenology approach. Data analysis adhered to the three stages of Didactical Design Research (DDR): prospective, metapedadidactic, and retrospective stage. The research identified learning obstacles among 25 participants who had completed proportion topics in Junior High School Mathematics course, while 20 participants who were currently enrolled in the course took part in the implementation of the hypothetical design. The findings of this study indicate: (1) The characteristics of learning obstacles for pre-service teachers are didactical obstacles in the arrangement of ratio materials, ontogenic obstacles in basic technical arithmetic, and epistemological obstacles in knowledge of the concepts of ratio and proportion; (2) The development of a hypothetical learning trajectory for ratio topics; (3) The design of a hypothetical didactic model for teaching ratio topics based on the Theory of Didactical Situations (TDS) encompassing four situations: action, formulation, validation, and institutionalization; (4) The implementation results of the hypothetical didactic design indicated student responses aligned with the previously designed didactic pedagogical anticipation framework; (5) The analysis of the research results produced a recommended didactic design for teaching ratio topics. Overall, this study underscores the importance of a didactic design for ratio topics in school mathematics to support the development of professional competencies in pre-service teachers, thereby preparing them to teach this topic more effectively. Identifying the characteristics of learning obstacles after the implementation of didactic design is one of the recommended follow-ups of this study

    Revolusi industri 4.0 menuntut perubahan yang amat cepat dan signifikan di berbagai bidang termasuk pendidikan. Model pembelajaran 4.0 itu sendiri adalah pembelajaran yang tidak semata-mata melibatkan teknologi di dalamnya. Tapi lebih pada mengubah paradigma bahwa siswa bukanlah objek pasif yang harus mampu menggunakan teknologi saja. Tuntutan ini tentunya bukan hal yang mudah untuk dipenuhi oleh guru. Proses pembelajaran saat ini diaharapkan mampu membentuk siswa yang memiliki softskill untuk menghadapi abad 21 yang dikenal dengan 4C ( Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, dan Creativity and Innovation). PKM ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran berbasis 4C melalui penerapan media ajar digital dalam menghadapi revolusi industri 4.0 di kalangan guru pesantren. Mitra dari PKM ini adalah Yayasan Pendidikan Mandiri Bersemi. Tercatat 25 orang guru pada sekolah mitra yang berusia usia cukup muda dengan latar belakang Pendidikan Sarjana S1. Masalah yang dihadapi mitra adalah kurangnya pelatihan mengenai media ajar digital dan kurangnya kreativitas guru dalam hal teknik pengajaran. Tahapan dalam kegiatan ini peersiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Berdasarkan pelaksanaan kegiaan ini dapat disimpulkan yakni sosialisasi penerapan media ajar digial sudah dilaksanakan dikalangan guru Yayasan Mandiri Bersemi, para guru sudah bisa merancang rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media ajar digital dan sebagian guru sudah mempraktekan media ajar digital dikelas.Kata Kunci: Media ajar digital, 4C , revolusi industri

    Publication trends on proportional reasoning research: A bibliometric analysis using Scopus database

    Proportional reasoning ability is an important ability for students to understand mathematical concepts. Much research has been conducted on this capability, but it is necessary to map existing research to provide a clearer picture of future research topics. This research aims to provide a bibliometric overview of trends in the use of proportional reasoning skills in mathematics teaching research. The method in this research is bibliometric analysis, which aims to analyze and classify bibliographic material by presenting a representative summary of literature in the Scopus database. The search was carried out using the keyword "proportional reasoning" in the search menu in the Scopus.com database. ScientoPy software analyzes the author's name, number of document citations, document title, publication year, document source, publisher, and document type Research trends in proportional reasoning show a significant increase, with 356 publications in Scopus, peaking at 32 in 2023. Major contributors include the United States, Turkey, and Spain, with recent studies focusing on "teacher knowledge." Influential works by Liberali et al., Atkinson et al., and Tobin & Capie address numeracy, multimedia learning, and logical thinking, respectively. These findings suggest that improving teacher knowledge and using effective multimedia tools could enhance instruction and research in proportional reasoning. Future research should explore innovative teaching strategies and technologies to further advance proportional reasoning ability

    The Application of Android-based GeoGebra on Quadratic Equations Material toward Mathematical Creative Thinking ability

    Students' low creative thinking skills and difficulty in drawing graphs from the given algebraic equations are the background of this study. The purpose of this study was to determine the mathematical creative thinking abilities between Android-based GeoGebra and ordinary learning. This study also investigated students’ responses to the application of Android-based GeoGebra. The research method used was quasi-experimental with a nonequivalent group pretest-posttest design. The instruments were a creative thinking test and a questionnaire. The subjects of this study were students of one of the junior high school in Cianjur selected by purposive sampling technique. The studied material was the quadratic equations as a part of algebra. The gain index data analysis technique used was the normality test and the Mann Whitney test while the questionnaire data responses were analyzed through the average percentage of students’ answers. As a result, the students' mathematical creative thinking ability with Android-based GeoGebra was better than ordinary learning. Also, the students provided positive responses to the application of Android-based GeoGebra

    Lesson study: Improving the quality of learning through on flipped classroom learning model

    This research purpose is to improve the quality of learning through the learning model of flipping the classroom on the subject of mathematics. This research is an export research by applying lesson study which consists of three intentions, namely planning , Do, and See. The subjects of this study were students of the Mathematics Education Study Program who took the Kapita Selekta Mathematics course. Research data collection instruments consisted of observation sheets, tests, and questionnaires. During the lecture process, observations were made of student activities both online and offline (face to face). To see the cognitive abilities given by test students and to see students' responses to the planning and implementation of a questionnaire The quality of learning is seen to increase from the online and offline activities of students and lecturer activities in class that encourage the activeness of the average value and classical absorption, which experiences improvement. Likewise, most of the students' responses were positive to the planning and implementation of learning taking place with the student learning model turned centered on class

    PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIS MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN LAPS-HEURISTIK

    Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab apakah setelah penerapan model LAPS-Heuristic(Logan Avenue Problem Solving) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa pada materi trigonometri di kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Cibeber. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif tipe Quasi Experimen dengan bentuk Design The Nonequivalent Prettest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X IPA SMAN 1 Cibeber.  Adapun penelitian ini dipilih sebanyak 2 kelas dari 3 kelas melalui teknik purposive samplingdan melibatkan sampel sebanyak 53 orang yang berasal dari dua kelas yang pilih. Kelas X IPA 2 dipilih sebagai kelas eksperimen yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model LAPS-Heuristik dan kelas X IPA 1 dipilih sebagai kelas kontrol yang memperoleh pembelajaran biasa. Untuk mendapatkan data hasil penelitian digunakan instrument berupa tes  kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dan kuisioner sikap siswa. Pengolahan data hasil penelitian ini menggunakan software SPSS versi 20. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dengan menggunkan model pembelajaran LAPS-Heuristic lebih baik di bandingan menggunakan model pembelajaran biasa. Sikap siswa terhadap pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan model LAPS-Heuristic(Logan Avenue Problem Solving)sebagian besar positif.     Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi pentingnya pendidikan dan proses pembelajaran terutama di masa pandemi covid-19 yang mengharuskan siswa belajar dari rumah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis dan kemandirian belajar siswa pada pembelajaran berbasis e-learning berbantuan WhatsApp. Jenis penelitian ini yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X Akuntansi SMK Pasundan 1 Cianjur sebanyak 10 orang siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berupa tes dan non tes (kuesioner angket). Hasil analisis data menunjukan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa termasuk kedalam kategori sedang, bahwa peserta didik yang memiliki kemampuan sedang belum terlalu mampu mengerjakan soal tes berpikir kritis matematis dengan baik. Selain itu, kemampuan kemandirian belajar siswa juga termasuk kedalam kategori sangat tinggi. Dimana sebagian siswa siap dan semangat mengikuti pemebelajaran melalui e-learning berbantuan WhatsAp

    MENINGKATKANKEMAMPUAN METAFORA MENGGUNAKAN STRATEGI REACT BERBANTUAN BAHAN AJAR ALJABAR

    Abstrak. Kemampuan matematika siswa masih rendah, khususnya  kemampuan metafora. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan metafora matematis siswa dengan strategi REACT berbantuan Bahan Ajar Aljabar. Metode penelitian menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus tindakan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas VII SMP Al-Madina tahun ajaran 2017-2018, sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 22 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal tes kemampuan metafora tiap siklus, lembar observasi guru dan sisiwa dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa dengan menerapkan pembelajaran dengan Strategi REACT berbantuan bahan ajar Aljabar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan metafora para siswa di SMP Al-Madina. Hal ini ditunjukan dengan hasil tes kemampuan metafora setiap siklusnya. Pada tindakan siklus I daya serap klasikal siswa menacapai 59 %, dan tindakan siklus II hampir 77 % daya serap klasikal mengalami peningkatan. Selain itu aktivitas guru dan siswa pada setiap siklus baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan stategi REACT dapat meningkatkan kemampuan metafora.Kata kunci: REACT, Kemampuan Metafora, PTKAbstract. The mathematical ability of students is still low, especially the ability of metaphor. This study aims to determine the improvement of students' mathematical metaphorical abilities with the strategy of REACT aided Instructional Materials Algebra. The research method uses Classroom Action Research which is implemented in 2 action cycles. Population in this research is student of class VII of Al Madina Junior High School year 2017-2018, sample in this research counted 22 people. The instrument used is a matter of metaphor ability test each cycle, teacher observation sheet and side in learning. The results showed that by applying the learning with REACT Strategy assisted Algebra learning materials can improve the metaphor ability of the students at Al Madina Junior High School. This is indicated by the metaphor capability test results of each cycle. In the cycle I action the classical absorption of students reaches 59%, and the second cycle action almost 77% of the classical absorption is increased. In addition, the activities of teachers and students in each cycle well. Based on the results of this study concluded that learning with REACT strategy can improve the ability of metaphor.Keywords: REACT, Metaphorical Ability, PT

    SPATIAL ABILITY IN MIDDLE SCHOOL MATHEMATICS LEARNING: SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW (SLR)

    Spatial ability is the cognitive process of seeing an item and building relationships between that item and its surroundings. This ability is an important element in learning mathematics that can be applied to various problems in life. The purpose of this study was to analyze published articles on spatial abilities from 2012 to 2022. This research uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method which is used to collect primary data related to spatial abilities published on the Google Scholar search engine. Data selection was based on the journal index, year of publication, education level, sample size, research location, and research materials. From the research results, it was found that the most published research was in 2018 and the most applied to geometry teaching materials. The results also show that most research on spatial abilities is conducted on the island of Java at the junior high school level. From this study it is also recommended that similar research be carried out outside Java and use elementary, high school, university levels, and also use statistics, algebra, and arithmetic materials.Kemampuan spasial adalah proses kognitif dalam melihat suatu benda dan membangun hubungan antara benda tersebut dengan lingkungannya. Kemampuan ini merupakan unsur penting dalam pembelajaran matematika yang dapat diterapkan pada berbagai permasalahan dalam kehidupan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis artikel yang dipublikasikan tentang kemampuan spasial dari tahun 2012 hingga 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR) yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data primer terkait kemampuan spasial yang dipublikasikan di mesin pencari Google Scholar. Pemilihan data didasarkan pada indeks jurnal, tahun publikasi, tingkat pendidikan, ukuran sampel, lokasi penelitian, dan bahan penelitian. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa penelitian yang paling banyak dipublikasikan adalah pada tahun 2018 dan paling banyak diterapkan pada bahan ajar geometri. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar penelitian tentang kemampuan spasial dilakukan di Pulau Jawa pada tingkat SMP. Dari penelitian ini juga direkomendasikan agar penelitian serupa dilakukan di luar pulau Jawa dan menggunakan materi tingkat SD, SMA, Universitas, dan juga menggunakan materi statistika, aljabar, dan aritmatika

    Rice farmer activities can be used as a context for understanding mathematical concepts. There are many studies on Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) on direct proportion material with a cultural context background. However, there is no research that focuses on using the context of Pandanwangi rice farmers to facilitate students in understanding material in direct proportion.This study aims to design Hypothetical Learning Trajectory (HLT) in Scientific Approach on Material Direct Proportion in the Context of Rice Farmers' Activities in Pandanwangi Cianjur, who are familiar with student culture in Cianjur. This research is part of design research. The research design consisted of HLT, namely learning objectives, learning activities, and student learning hypotheses. The result of the research is the set of HLT in the context of Pandanwangi Rice Farmer Activities, which includes learning objectives, learning activities, and the assumptions of each activity. This HLT can be a promising solution to overcome students' difficulties in understanding the concept of direct proportion and values in a cultural context to improve students' character
