    Profil Self Regulation Mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika FKIP Universitas Riau di Masa Pandemi Covid-19

    This research aims to determine the description of students’ self-regulation of Mathematics Education FKIP at the Universitas Riau during the Covid-19 pandemic. The subjects in this study were 121 students of Mathematics Education, FKIP, Universitas Riau. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The data obtained from students was the score of self-regulation of Mathematics Education students, FKIP, Universitas Riau during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research that was conducted showed that the students' self-regulation were at a moderate level as many as 21 people (17.36%), at a high level as many as 80 people (66.12%), and at a very high level as many as 20 people (16.53%). Meanwhile, the achievement of students' self-regulation for each indicator consisted of a goal-setting indicator of 85.74% with a good category, an indicator of environment structuring of 80.48% in a good category, an indicator of task strategies of 73.17% in a fair category, an indicator of time management is 63.22%% in a fair category, an indicator of seeking help is 73.76% in a fair category, and self-evaluation indicator is 87.6% in a very good category. Based on the self-regulation category of each student and the percentage of self-regulation achievement for each indicator, it can be said that the students of Mathematics Education FKIP Universitas Riau were able to adapt while taking online classes during the Covid-19 pandemic by having good self-regulation

    The Relationship between Perceptions of Online Learning and Self-Regulation of Mathematics Education Students

    Students' perceptions of learning influence the achievement of learning objectives. With the current online learning, students need to have good self-regulation to obtain excellent learning outcomes. Therefore, this study aims to examine the relationship between perceptions of online learning and the self-regulation of Mathematics Education students during the COVID-19 pandemic. The subject of this research is 121 students in semesters 2, 4, and 6 of the Mathematics Education Program in One University in Indonesia. Students in that semester are students who have experienced both face-to-face lectures and online lectures. To collect data in the study, researchers use questionnaires. This study uses descriptive statistical and quantitative analysis techniques. The results showed that student perception of online learning was correlated to student self-regulation during the COVID-19 pandemic (r=0.545 or moderate correlation). It means when students have a good perception of online learning, their self-regulation tends to be good, vice versa. Thus, one way to improve student self-regulation is by increasing student perceptions of online learning

    Penalaran matematis merupakan salah satu kemampuan matematis yang perlu dan penting dimiliki oleh mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika. Penalaran matematis merupakan proses berpikir matematik dalam memperoleh kesimpulan matematis berdasarkan fakta-fakta, konsep dan metode yang relevan. Dilain pihak, fakta menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Matematika FKIP UNRI belum terlalu baik atau dapat dikatakan rendah terutama pada matakuliah Masalah Nilai Awal dan Syarat Batas (MNASB). Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh fakta rendahnya capaian hasil belajar mahasiswa pada matakuliah tersebut dalam tiga tahun terakhir. Kemudian, berhubung dengan wabah COVID-19 yang terjadi saat ini termasuk di Pekanbaru, Riau yang memaksa institusi-institusi pendidikan tatap muka untuk bertransformasi menjadi institusi pendidikan jarak jauh dengan sistim pembelajaran secara daring. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan tipe development studies dengan dua tahapan yaitu tahapan preliminary evaluation dan formative evaluation. Tujuan akhir penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan produk berupa E-Modul berbasis pendekatan experiential learning yang potensial untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa E-Modul yang dikembangkan sudah memenuhi apek validitas dan praktikalitas serta potensial untuk mengembangkan kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa. E-Modul yang dikembangkan ini diharapkan sebagai contoh dan pedoman oleh dosen, mahasiswa dan institusi pendidikan tinggi dalam menyelenggarakan pembelajaran matematika yang berorientasi kemampuan penalaran matematis sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum. Bentuk soal pada E-Modul matakuliah MNASB yang diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran berupa soal-soal non rutin sehingga dapat mengasah kemampuan penalaran matematis mahasiswa

    Developing Problem Based Learning Device to Grow Students' Mathematical Critical Thinking Ability

    This research is motivated by the importance of students' mathematical critical thinking skills and the limited learning tools with problem-based learning models to facilitate students' mathematical critical thinking skills used by teachers (Syllabus, RPP, and LAS) as a means of supporting learning in the 2013 Curriculum and fostering the ability to think mathematical critical. This research aims to produce a learning device based on the Model of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) on the probability material that is valid and practical to grow students' mathematical critical thinking skills. The model of development used is the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). The subjects of one-to-one evaluation in this study were three 9th-grade SMP IT Aufia Global Islamic Boarding School and six heterogeneous students as small group evaluation subjects. The data analysis technique that will be carried out in this study is descriptive analysis technique. The Instruments used include (1) Syllabus, lesson plans, and student activity sheet validation sheets; and (2) a Questionnaire for student response to Student activity sheets. The learning tools that have been compiled are then validated by three validators and revised according to suggestions from the validators. The learning device is said to be valid if the level of validity achieved is at a value  The validation results from three validators show that the syllabus, lesson plans, and student activity sheet are very valid, with the average score in a row 3.82, 3.74, and 3.55. Student activity sheet practicality shows an average percentage of 92,06% with efficient criteria. The results of this study indicate that the learning based on Model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) on the probability material is very valid and significantly grows students' mathematical critical thinking skills

    Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Literasi Statistika Peserta Didik Kelas VIII.3 SMP Negeri 42 Pekanbaru

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan literasi statistika peserta didik kelas VIII.3 SMP Negeri 42 Pekanbaru yang disebabkan proses pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru. Salah satu cara yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi hal tersebut dengan menerapkan model Problem Based Learning. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Setiap siklus meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Tindakan ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 42 Pekanbaru semester genap tahun pelajaran tahun 2022/2023 pada peserta didik kelas VIII.3 yang berjumlah 40 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah perangkat pembelajaran yang terdiri dari Silabus, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran, dan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik, sedangkan instrumen pengumpulan data terdiri dari lembar pengamatan dan tes kemampuan literasi statistika. Lembar pengamatan aktivitas guru dan peserta didik didik dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif dan data kemampuan literasi statistika dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran mengalami perbaikan dari siklus I ke siklus II dimana pada proses pembelajaran peserta didik sudah aktif dan pembelajaran sudah bersifat student center. Hasil tes kemampuan literasi statistika menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan kemampuan literasi statistika peserta didik. Rerata hasil tes kemampuan literasi statistika peserta didik meningkat dari tes awal dengan rerata 56,9 menjadi 71,65 pada tes kemampuan literasi statistika I dan 90,5 pada tes kemampuan literasi statistika II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Problem Based Learning dapat memperbaiki proses pembelajaran dan meningkatkan kemampuan literasi statistika peserta didik kelas VIII.3 SMP Negeri 42 Pekanbaru

    This study aims to determine the effect of learning using problem-based learning strategies on student learning outcomes on environmental change material at Teladan Batu Bara Madrasah Aliyah. This research is a type of quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design selected by Nonequavalent pretest posttest control group design. The research population was class X IPA Madrasah Akiyah Exemplary and the sample of this study was Class X IPA 1 with a total of 35 students as the experimental class, and X IPA 2 with a total of 35 students as the control class. The instrument in this study was in the form of a test in the form of multiple choice questions of 30 items. Data analysis of student learning outcomes using the t-test formula, also with the help of SPSS version 25 data processing. Data analysis of student learning outcomes with the results of calculating the relative learning outcomes shows that the experimental class using problem-based learning strategies is higher than the control class. The prerequisite test proved that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The results of simple linear regression test calculations show sig < 0.005, 0.000 problems < 0.05, this means that there is an influence from the problem- based learning system on student learning outcomes. The conclusions in this study explain that there is an effect of using problem-based learning strategies on student learning outcomes

    Perubahan pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran yang semula dilakukan secara tatap muka harus dilakukan secara daring akibat munculnya virus Covid-19. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring sampai saat ini masih memiliki kekurangan di beberapa hal, seperti pencapaian kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis yang belum optimal akibat kurangnya keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Hal ini menyebabkan, mahasiswa memerlukan bahan ajar seperti e-LKM yang tidak hanya bisa meningkatkan aktivitas mahasiswa tetapi juga kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan instrumen penelitian berupa es kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis, kuesioner, pengamatan, analisis bahan ajar, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahsiswa membutuhkan e-LKM yang memuat petunjuk, kegiatan, atau langkah kerja, dapat digunakan secara mandiri dimanapun dan kapanpun, serta dapat meningkatkan aktivitas mahasiswa dalam belajar sekaligus meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis

    PENGEMBANGAN MODUL PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI BERBASIS POTENSI LOKAL PEMBUATAN MINYAK NILAM (Pogostemon cablin Benth) DI KABUPATEN ACEH TAMIANG

    The development of biology learning modules based on local potential, especially the manufacture of patchouli oil (Pogostemon cablin Benth.) is certainly an interesting matter, at this stage the research was carried out in Aceh Tamiang with biodiversity material for class X SMA/MA. The study was carried out at SMAN 2 Patra Nusa, Manyak Payed, Aceh Tamiang from July 2021 to January 2022. This study uses the Borg & Gall model of research and development (R&D). The study tool consisted of a questionnaire sheet for material specialists, media professionals, educators, and students as well as a practicality test questionnaire. The study's test participants were students in class X-3 at SMAN 2 Patra Nusa, Manyak Payed, Aceh Tamiang. After the tryout was conducted on 30 students to ascertain their response to the module evaluation, a practicality test was also carried out to determine the practicality of the module for 10 students using a practicality test questionnaire instrument sheet. Based on the conclusions of the material expert validation, a percentage of 51.6% was attained with a respectable category. 90% of the validation results from media experts were extremely respectable. With a percentage of 94.7%, the teacher's response to the module yielded quite positive results. The module's results from student replies had a very respectable category percentage of 89.9%. The module's practicality test scores fell into the very practical category with a rating of 87.5%. Thus, both teachers and students can benefit from using the local potential based biology learning module on biodiversity content

Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan analisis data untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis informasi terkait tingkat fertilitas di Indonesia.
