The study entitled "Effectiveness of Troubled Credit Settlement at Bank Jatim with Sales of Collateral Under the Hand" aims to determine the effectiveness of the settlement of problem loans at Bank Jatim by selling collateral under the hand and to find out and analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors. The main issues to be investigated are, how is the effectiveness of the settlement of problem loans at Bank Jatim with the sale of collateral under the hand ?, and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in the effectiveness of the settlement of problem loans at Bank Jatim with the sale of collateral under the hand ?. The research method used in this research is the Sociological Juridical method with interview, observation and literature study data collection techniques with explorative qualitative descriptive analysis methods. This research results, that the effectiveness of self-selling by the debtor as a way to pay off problem loans is very helpful to the banking sector. Because besides being cost effective it is also effective in time and helps maintain the reputation of banks in this case Bank Jatim. And the factors that accelerate or hinder the execution of the sale of collateral itself by the debtor are the good or bad intentions of the debtorhimsel

Electrical performance of conducting polymer (SPAN) grown on GaAs with different substrate orientations

This article reports the effect of n-type GaAs substrate orientation, namely (100), (311)A and (311)B, on the electrical properties of sulfonated polyaniline (SPAN)/GaAs heterojunction devices. In addition, the inhomogeneity of the interface between various GaAs substrates and SPAN is investigated in terms of barrier height and ideality factor by performing I–V measurements at different temperatures (20–420K). The I–V results indicate that the value of the rectification ratio (IF/IR) at 0.5V is higher for SPAN/(311)B GaAs samples than for SPAN/(100) GaAs and SPAN/(311)A GaAs samples. Moreover, the barrier height decreases and the ideality factor increases with decreasing temperature for all three heterostructure devices. The high value of mean barrier ˚¯ b of SPAN/(311)B (calculated from the plots of ˚b0 as a function of 1/2kT) confirms that the GaAs substrate orientation results in an increase of barrier homogeneities. Furthermore, the C-V characteristics were obtained at room temperature. The C-V measurements showed that the carrier distributions at the interface and away from the interface in high index (311) GaAs orientations are more uniform and have better barrier homogeneity than those grown on the conventional (100) GaAs substrates

Surface Plasmons for Probing Optical Data of Multi- Layered Thin Films

In this paper, we show how optical excitation of surface plasmons (SPs) can be used to obtain optical and geometrical parameters of specific layers in multi-layered thin film systems. The optimum coupling phenomenon between incoming p-polarized light and SPs appears as a minimum in the reflectance that is calculated using a standard matrix formalism. The sensitive dependence of the reflectance minimum on optical and geometrical parameters suggests that they can be determined accurately by fitting the measured attenuated total reflectance (ATR) to the matrix-calculated reflectance using the Simplex minimization method. The procedure is applied to the multi-layered system: Prism / Air gap / Al-oxide / Al / GaAs. At fixed incident light wavelength, the fitting parameters are the Al-oxide optical constant and the thickness of the air gap, Al-oxide and Al layers. Fortran codes are implemented for the reflectance calculations and the fitting procedures. The results show that the theoretical reflectance fits well the measured ATR at 633 nm wavelength. Moreover, the modeled Al-oxide optical constant at this wavelength agrees well with the literature. However, the reflectance fits are less good at 590 nm and 458 nm wavelengths and their modeled Al-oxide optical constants show a dispersion effect in disagreement with the literature. The modeled geometrical parameters are consistent with the nominal values
