An Attribute Selection For Severity Level Determination According To The Support Vector Machine Classification Result

    No full text
Determination of bug severity level is needed in fixing bug. Actually, in bug-tracking system, there is around 14 attributes used for defining a bug. But, all this time we do not know which attributes are highly influential for this. In this research, a new model of severity type classification using Infogain method for Bugzilla is proposed. As for the classsification process, we use Support Vector Machine, because this method is suitable in handling a massive data records. In this research, 8 bug attributes and 17.746 record of bug reports are involved. From the result of the experiment, we recommend five attributes which can be used effectively in classifying the severity types with a minimal value of infogain 0,33 which is component, qa_contact, summary, cc_list and product. The combination of those 5 attributes resulting in 99,83% accuracy of severity types classification. Keywords- Bug Tracking System; Severity Level Classification; TF-IDF; Infogain; SVM

There is a greater demand for a wider range of translation services that increasingly involve scientific, commercial, legal, or technical documents. Translation is no longer limited to literary works which have historically been the main focus of the translation industry in Indonesia.  As it is believed that university is the best place for translator training (Bernardini, 2004; Maia, 2012), there have been attempts to put legal and economic translation into the curriculum with the premise that students should be exposed to different types of text to ensure that the materials used in translation classes are relevant to market needs (Kelly, 2000; Heidari and Mowlaie, 2016) However, translating business texts is quite challenging for students because it requires knowledge of text type and genre differences in the SL and TL, and the awareness of the relationship between context and register in terms of field, mode, and tenor are vital for the translator (Beeby, 2000). This paper discusses errors produced by Indonesian novice translators in translating terminology in business texts. The samples used in this study were produced by students at the English Department of Politeknik Negeri Padang in West Sumatra, Indonesia. The institution is a vocational college that trains students in practical competencies, including to work as professional translators. The aim of this paper is to identify the strategies used by students in solving translation problems in an effort to better understand the issues faced in the field of translation in Indonesia. There is a greater demand for a wider range of translation services that increasingly involve scientific, commercial, legal, or technical documents. This study aimed to analyze the types of transition signals in headline news and the reasons for using transition signals in writing. This study applied a descriptive qualitative design. The sources of the data were three headline news taken from Antaranews.com entitled “Indonesia urges ASEAN, China to help maintain regional stability,” the jakartapost.com entitled “Myanmar to dominate ASEAN agenda, but little progress expected”, and 9News.com entitled “Russian President Vladimir Putin won't attend upcoming G20 summit in Bali” published on November 11th, 2022. The technique of data collection was documentation and the procedures in the the data analysis were 1) reading the headline news, 2) finding the transition signal in headline news, 3) underlining the transition signals in headlines news, 4) classifying the transition signals, 5) counting the total frequencies of transition signals, and 6) finding the reasons of using transition signals in writing. The results showed that the types of transition signals found in the headline news were to indicate addition, time, sample, distinction, and cause and effect, and the most widely used was to indicate addition in each headline news. Moreover, the reasons for using transition signals in headline news were 1) to make the movement of the paragraphs in the text logical and smooth, 2) to strengthen the internal cohesion and coherence in a text, 3) to show the relationship between the parts of sentences in a paragraph or between paragraphs, and 4) to provide valuable signals to the reader about the relationship between parts of the text

Introduction: Menopausal women experience a number of symptoms called menopausal syndrome. Previous study) states that menopausal syndrome in women in Europe reaches 70-80%, Americans 60%, Malaysia 57%, China 18%, Japan and in Indonesia 10%. The prevalence and severity of menopausal syndrome in Asia show lower rates than women in Western. Another  study states, high spiritual well-being can provide adaptive coping and contribute to reducing menopausal symptoms. Studies on the relationship between the spiritual level of menopausal women and menopausal syndrome in rural areas are still limited. The study aims to determine the relationship of spirituality levels with menopausal syndrome in rural area.  Method: This study is  correlation research  with cross sectional approach. Number of samples is 207 women. The sampling technique used stratified random sampling. The research was conducted in Tangkisan Village, Tawangsari District, Sukoharjo Regency. Instruments used in this study is  Spiritual Well-Being Scale (SWBS) to measure spirituality levels and Menopausal Rating Scale (MRS) to determain the level of menopausal syndrome. The quesionnare distributed online by whatsapp.using google form.  Data analysis using  using Spearman rank test. Result: The analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between the level of spirituality with menopausal syndrome in women with a correlation value of -0,300 and p value ≤ 0,05.Conclusion: A high level of spirituality reduced menopausal syndrome.
