La libertad de creencias durante la Transición española: estudio de los principales instrumentos jurídicos

Para entender cómo ha evolucionado la libertad de creencias en España es preciso acudir a la etapa de la Transición española. En ella, acaecen algunos de los hitos más importantes que han marcado tanto la evolución de las relaciones Estado-Iglesia Católica como, han supuesto, un paso adelante hacia la consecución de un Estado laico. El objeto de estudio se centra en los principales instrumentos jurídicos de este periodo, la Constitución Española, más concretamente, el debate constitucional y aprobación del artículo 16 y, de igual modo, se tratarán los Acuerdos con la Santa Sede (1976-1979), haciendo alusión a los privilegios, que aunque minorados, sigue poseyendo la Iglesia Católica en un Estado aconfesional como el nuestro

Unidad de Asma Difícil: investigación sobre factores etiológicos de agravamiento

El asma de difícil control engloba a todos aquellos pacientes con asma cuya enfermedad se caracteriza por ser agresiva y estar mal controlada, a pesar de seguir un tratamiento adecuado y ajustado a su clínica. Supone el 5% del total de los pacientes asmáticos y consume un 70% del total de los costes derivados de esta enfermedad. La implementación de la Unidad de Asma de Control Difícil ha permitido grandes beneficios en el manejo de estos pacientes, gracias a su seguimiento en las consultas monográficas y al aumento en el número de pruebas diagnósticas, junto a la mejora de la adherencia terapéutica; así como, a la educación impartida en dichas consultas, lo que les proporciona una serie de conocimientos y recursos de utilidad para su autocuidado, permitiendo hacerles partícipes de las decisiones terapéuticas. Para ello, se ha llevado a cabo un estudio observacional, con un tamaño muestral de 57 pacientes, que permite valorar el control de éstos durante los seis primeros meses de su puesta en funcionamiento comparándolo con su situación en los mismos meses pero del año previo a la Unidad. Este estudio, ha demostrado una disminución significativa de un 85% de las exacerbaciones y de los ingresos hospitalarios; así como un aumento del número de pacientes controlados; con un balance de costo-efectividad favorable, calculado por medio de la relación coste – efectividad incremental (RCEI), el cual fue de 333,432 euros por paciente controlado en los 6 meses de seguimiento y de 3334,32 euros por AVAC ganado.Grado en Medicin

Estilos de vida em idosas e níveis de atividade física: um estudo piloto

The International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ) is a standardized measure to estimate habitual practice of physical activities. Because of the specificity of different elderly’s life styles, and, consequently, modes of physical activity, the purpose of this pilot study was to analyze differences among ten regular gym practitioners (fitness group) (68,60±3,57 years of age) and ten Senior University students without gym practice (informal group) (71,30±5,54 years of age). The results showed that energy expenditure doesn’t depend solely on regular and controlled physical activity at a Fitness center, and that functional motor activity, as daily life active transportation and domestic and garden activities, resulted in similar energy expenditure. It’s suggested that programs combining energy expenditure and daily life motor activities is a good solution for quality of life enhancement, and an alternative to more standardized fitness practices.O Questionário Internacional de Atividade Física (IPAQ) é uma medida padronizada para estimar a prática habitual de atividades físicas. A finalidade deste estudo piloto foi analisar as diferenças entre dez praticantes regulares de ginásio (68,60 ± 3,57 anos de idade) e dez estudantes de uma Universidade Sénior sem atividade física formal (grupo informal) (71,30 ± 5,54 anos de idade). Os resultados mostraram que o dispêndio energético não depende unicamente da atividade física regular e controlada num centro de Fitness, e que a atividade motora funcional, como o transporte ativo e as atividades domésticas e de jardim, resultou em gastos energéticos semelhantes. Pilipinx Radical Imagination: Healing and Visioning in our Process of Becoming

There are estimated 10.4 million Filipinos living or working abroad primarily in the Middle East, Europe, Canada, and the United States searching for a better life for themselves and their families (Commission on Filipino Overseas, 2013). Due to economic motivation, assimilating to the host country\u27s culture, values, and traditions is an act of survival. While the majority of the research has focused on the domestic workers’ experience, rarely has there been a study focusing on Filipinos in the diaspora positive contributions to the host country and their Pilipinx Radical Imagination. As a result, the purpose of this qualitative study is to explore diasporic Filipinos’ current lived experiences and visioning for their communities. This study focuses on eight self identified Filipino/a/x/@, Pilipino/a/x/@ or Pin@y contributors from The Pilipinx Radical Imagination Reader (Nievera-Lozano & Santa Ana, 2018). This study utilizes Transcendent Resistance, a newly introduced framework, and FilCrit pedagogy and to examine their lived experiences and interview them with a culturally humble data collection methodology, kuwentuhan, sharing stories, (Jocson, 2008). Analysis of the data demonstrated three themes: (1) identity is culturally fluid; (2) transcendent love is at the heart of their love for themselves and their communities; (3) and healing and visioning. Further research is needed to document the positive contributions of Filipinos in the diaspora, complexities and multiplicities of Filipinos in the diaspora, community kuwentuhans as space for healing and visioning, and further development of the Pilipinx Radical Imagination

Distinct expressions of the BSR using various frequencies offshore Uruguay and its correspondence with the gas hydrate stability zone

At the Uruguayan continental margin, seismic evidence for the occurrence of gas hydrate has been identified based on the presence of BSRs in densely spaced 2D reflection seismic sections from different surveys. Mapping of BSRs based on 2D seismic data acquired in 2007 and 2008 suggested the presence of gas hydrates in areas that were not previously identified; hence hydrate occurrence offshore Uruguay is more widespread than previously thought. Recently ANCAP has digitized offshore seismic data acquired between 1970 and 1982. Being able to work on this data using interpretation software, and integrating results with the latest interpretations performed on the seismic collected in 2007 and 2008, the BSR extends over an area of approximately 25.000 km2. It is present in water depths greater than 500 m and has high continuity in Pelotas Basin but is more discontinuous at Punta del Este Basin and southern part of Oriental del Plata Basin. In offshore basins around the world the base of GHSZ can have different seismic expressions such as continuous, segmented, and high-relief BSRs depending on the stratigraphic, fluid and geothermal setting. Here, we present examples of the influence of the acquisition parameters on the acoustic expression of the BSR, comparing commercial seismic sections acquired for hydrocarbon exploration and high resolution seismic sections acquired during the R/V Meteor Cruise M49/2 in 2001 and R/V Meteor Cruise M78/3a (May - June 2009) using different sources and streamer system. For the different data sets the BSR presents differences regarding its continuity and amplitude strength. In high resolution seismic, enhanced amplitudes and phase reversals are observed for several reflectors while deep penetration seismic shows only one single continuous reflector. This comparison may help to visualize the complexity of the free gas, gas hydrate and stratigraphic system behind the BSR, which is usually masked on low-frequency deep penetration seismic data
