The constant background bag model of the hadron

We have constructed the bag model having a central constant color field. The motion of the quark is studied in this bag and the Dirac equation is solved for it. The energy spectrum found has a branching due to the interaction of the quarks with the color background. It is pointed out that this model can be applied for taking into account, in the mass spectrum of hadrons, the coupling of the constituent quarks with the gluon condensation as the interaction with the color background.Comment: 10 pages, improved English, will be published in the Eur. Supersymmetry in Quantum Mechanics of Colored Particles

The role of supercharge operators is studied in the case of a Dirac particle moving in a constant chromomagnetic field. The Hamiltonian is factorised and the ground state wave function in the case of unbroken supersymmetry is determined.Comment: 8 pages, no figure

Abstract In the work the definitions of the guaranteed solution and guaranteed suboptimal solution are given for the multiconstraint integer programming problem. A method is developed for finding these solitions. This method is based on the sequental changing of the right hand side of the system of constraints by the dichotomia ous principle

Features of the Political Development of Iraq in 2003—2020: the Formation of a New Elite

    Get PDF
The features of recruiting the political elite of Iraq after the overthrow of the regime of President Saddam Hussein in 2003 are considered. The relevance of the study is due to the need to study the processes of elite formation in the Middle East during the period of regional transformations. The key mechanisms and principles of the formation of the Iraqi political elite within the framework of the emerging post-Saddam political system have been identified. It is shown that the political leaders who came into power with the support of the Americans until 2003 were the “counter-elite” of S. Hussein, therefore participation in the opposition movements became an important criterion for recruiting. Special attention is paid to the informal (traditional) principles of recruiting the new elite, which have become the main mechanism of this process. In particular, the following principles are described: “muhassasa taifiyya”, which assumes the distribution of political positions in accordance with the share of ethno-confessional groups in the general population, clan solidarity, and religious institutions. It is emphasized that the role of Shiite religious structures, including spiritual leaders, and their influence on the formation of the political elite have significantly increased compared to the pre-occupation period

The indisputable value of ultrasound diagnostics in acute small bowel obstruction

    Get PDF
The use of ultrasound in the diagnosis of acute small bowel obstruction is justified from a tactical point of view, since it is not delayed in time, does not weigh down the patient's condition, has sufficient information and does not carry radiation load. Due to its safety and ease of use, this technique can be used repeatedly in the process of conservative treatment to determine further treatment tactics

Energy States of Colored Particle in a Chromomagnetic Field

    Get PDF
The unitary transformation, which diagonalizes squared Dirac equation in a constant chromomagnetic field is found. Applying this transformation, we find the eigenfunctions of diagonalized Hamiltonian, that describe the states with definite value of energy and call them energy states. It is pointed out that, the energy states are determined by the color interaction term of the particle with the background chromofield and this term is responsible for the splitting of the energy spectrum. We construct supercharge operators for the diagonal Hamiltonian, that ensure the superpartner property of the energy states.Comment: 25 pages, some calculation details have been removed, typos correcte

COMPARISON OF EFFECTS OF ENALAPRIL AND UNCONTROLLED ANTIHYPERTENSIVE THERAPY ON INSULIN RESISTANCE, ENDOTHELIUM FUNCTION, MARKERS OF INFLAMMATION AND PLATELET ACTIVITY IN PATIENTS WITH METABOLIC SYNDROME

Aim. To assess influence of enalapril and uncontrolled antihypertensive therapy on insulin resistance, endothelium function, markers of inflammation, and platelet activity in patients with metabolic syndrome (MS). Material and methods. 41 patients with MS (21 women and 20 men, aged 58±2 years) were included into open parallel controlled study. MS was defined according to III report of USA Educational Program on cholesterol (2001). Patients were divided into 2 groups. Patients of the 1st group received enalapril (Enam, Dr. Reddy’s) 10 mg daily with further dose titration to 20 mg daily. Patients of the  2nd group continued receiving the same antihypertensive therapy as before (15% - inhibitors of angiotensin converting enzymes, 15% - в-blockers, 15% - diuretics, and 20% of patients - combined therapy). Study duration was 12 weeks. Results. Therapy with enalapril during 3 months resulted into significant decrease in systolic and diastolic blood pressure (BP) by 13 and 9% respectively. BP level decreased insignificantly (by 4,5 and 2% respectively) in controlled group. Ratio of plasma concentration of glucose to insulin in the 1st group increased by 14% before glucose load, and by 25% (p<0,05) 2 hours after peroral glucose load, while in the 2nd group decrease in these figures was noted by 12 and 5% respectively. This shows that treatment with enalapril, unlike uncontrolled antihypertensive therapy, lead to decrease in insulin resistance. Cuff test revealed significant increase in growth of brachial artery diameter in the group of patients, who received enalapril (12% before treatment, and 17% after treatment). Regular antihypertensive therapy didn’t change this parameter significantly (13 and 13,8% respectively). C-reactive protein level decreased by 48% (p<0,05) in the 1st group. Insignificant increase of this marker’s level was observed in the 2nd group. Platelet functional activity in both groups didn’t change significantly. Conclusion.  Together with strong antihypertensive effect, enalapril monotherapy is more efficient than regular antihypertensive therapy in reducing insulin resistance and chronic subclinical inflammation, as well as it has priority in improving endothelium depending vasodilatation

On the routines of wild-type silk fibroin processing toward silk-inspired materials: a review

    Get PDF
For years, silk fibroin of a domestic silkworm, Bombyx mori, has been recognized as a valuable material and extensively used. In the last decades, new application fields are emerging for this versatile material. Those final, specific applications of silk dictate the way it has been processed in industry and research. This review focuses on the description of various approaches for silk downstream processing in a laboratory scale, that fall within several categories. The detailed description of workflow possibilities from the naturally found material to a finally formulated product is presented. Considerable attention is given to (bio-) chemical approaches of silk fibroin transformation, particularly, to its enzyme-driven modifications. The focus of the current literature survey is exclusively on the methods applied in research and not industry
