Rasch Analysis of the Q-CHAT in Colombian Toddlers with Autism Spectrum Disorder
[EN]The objective of this study was the validation of the Colombian version of The Quantitative Checklist for Autism in Toddlers (Q-CHAT) by means of the Rasch Rating Scale Model. The Q-CHAT was applied to parents of 100 typically developing toddlers and 40 toddlers and preschoolers with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The Q-CHAT scores showed some limitations. The questionnaire did not meet the condition of unidimensionality. Two dimensions were detected. The first dimension, with 13 items and 4 response categories (13i-4c), showed good psychometric properties: the items fit the Rasch Rating Scale model, the reliability of persons and items was appropriate, and scores adequately discriminate between children with and without ASD. The second dimension is a measure of traits that are usually associated with ASD, but that have shown validity problems. Thus, it is proposed that dimension 1 of the Q-CHAT (13i-4c) be used as the screening tool for ASD in Colombia

https://doi.org/10.1136/BJSM.2009.070896Objective To determine the effects of a 3-month multidisciplinary intervention on pain (primary outcome), body composition and physical fitness (secondary outcomes) in women with fibromyalgia (FM).
Methods 75 women with FM were allocated to a low-moderate intensity 3-month (three times/week) multidisciplinary (pool, land-based and psychological sessions) programme (n=33) or to a usual care group (n=32). The outcome variables were pain threshold, body composition (body mass index and estimated body fat percentage) and physical fitness (30 s chair stand, handgrip strength, chair sit and reach, back scratch, blind flamingo, 8 feet up and go and 6 min walk test).
Results The authors observed a significant interaction effect (group*time) for the left (L) and right (R) side of the anterior cervical (p<0.001) and the lateral epicondyle R (p=0.001) tender point. Post hoc analysis revealed that pain threshold increased in the intervention group (positive) in the anterior cervical R (p<0.001) and L (p=0.012), and in the lateral epicondyle R (p=0.010), whereas it decreased (negative) in the anterior cervical R (p<0.001) and L (p=0.002) in the usual care group. There was also a significant interaction effect for chair sit and reach. Post hoc analysis revealed improvement in the intervention group (p=0.002). No significant improvement attributed to the training was observed in the rest of physical fitness or body composition variables.
Conclusions A 3-month multidisciplinary intervention three times/week had a positive effect on pain threshold in several tender points in women with FM. Though no overall improvements were observed in physical fitness or body composition, the intervention had positive effects on lower-body flexibility
Valid practice of personal and electronic notification in civil matters
Universidad Libre Seccional Socorro -- Facultad de derecho, ciencias políticas y sociales -- Especialización en derecho procesalPersonal service is one of the vital legal institutes of procedural law. It constitutes the act of informing the summoned in a certain trial, materializes the fundamental right to due process and that of contradiction and defense.
As a result of the implementation of ICTs in the Colombian judicial system, there are currently two personal notification mechanisms, one face-to-face or physical and the other electronic or digital.
Each type of notification has essential requirements that are different for each regime. In the execution of this procedural act, the budgets of one and the other have been confused and mixed, which has led to the practice and endorsement of hybrid notifications that are not legally allowed.
This study explains the differences between one and the other regime, which allows clarifying the individual procedure and proposing solutions that help the reader to understand and make proper use of this procedural institution, based on normative and jurisprudential analysis
Twitter is one of the most popular social networks in Spain, has increased user growth due to its easy operation, its adaptation to mobile technologies and its rejuvenation. Many teenagers have passed from Tuenti to Twitter without stopping at Facebook, the most commonlysocial network used today. Therefore, the importance of this network of microblogging doesn`t go to in fact to having become a channel of information and communication and to be a great teaching support. First we must mention the backing information provided in the most varied academic events, which enriches with testimonies, illustrations, infographics, etc. Moreover, participants move from being mere spectators to become actors and managers of relaying everything that happens during the conference, they add new information, they complement communication and they incorporate value judgments, some of them very interesting for future editions. Finally, we must highlight its importance for diffusion. Twitter operates globally, simple publications can reach thousands and millions persons who can follow, even in real time, all that happens in the session. Also, it can serve as a reference in the future because, by searching, it could be recovered and to re-watch and to review what happened within the social network. In this paper we will analyze the data obtained in the course Community Manager. The social media's professional, celebrated at the Faculty of Communication and Information at the University of Granada last March. These data reflect the degree of participation of the attendees, players in the marketing of the event via Twitter. For measuring the influence of communication and the extent of that activity in this network microblogging it has been used several parameters for analysing, for showing that Twitter is not just a social network it is also a suitable tool for teaching support

The fate of the antibiotic sulfamethoxazole in amended soils remains unclear, moreover in basic soils. This work aimed to assess the adsorption, leaching, and biodegradation of sulfamethoxazole in unamended and biochar from holm oak pruning (BC)- and green compost from urban pruning (CG)-amended basic soil. Adsorption properties of the organic amendments and soil were determined by adsorption isotherms of sulfamethoxazole. The leachability of this antibiotic from unamended (Soil) and BC- (Soil + BC) and GC- (Soil + GC) amended soil was determined by leaching columns using water as solvent up to 250 mL. Finally, Soil, Soil + BC, and Soil + GC were spiked with sulfamethoxazole and incubated for 42 days. The degradation rate and microbial activity were periodically monitored. Adsorption isotherms showed poor adsorption of sulfamethoxazole in unamended basic soil. BC and CG showed good adsorption capacity. Soil + BC and Soil + GC increased the sulfamethoxazole adsorption capacity of the soil. The low sulfamethoxazole adsorption of Soil produced quick and intense sulfamethoxazole leaching. Soil + BC reduced the sulfamethoxazole leaching, unlike to Soil + GC which enhanced it concerning Soil. The pH of adsorption isotherms and leachates indicate that the anion of sulfamethoxazole was the major specie in unamended and amended soil. CG enhanced the microbial activity of the soil and promoted the degradability of sulfamethoxazole. In contrast, the high adsorption and low biostimulation effect of BC in soil reduced the degradation of sulfamethoxazole. The half-life of sulfamethoxazole was 2.6, 6.9, and 11.9 days for Soil + GC, Soil, and Soil + BC, respectively. This work shows the benefits and risks of two organic amendments, BC and GC, for the environmental fate of sulfamethoxazole. The different nature of the organic carbon of the amendments was responsible for the different effects on the soilPDC 2021-120744-I0
Residents' perception of the impacts of tourism is a relevant issue in academic studies through both qualitative and quantitative approaches. This study was conducted in the metropolitan area of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco and Bahía de Banderas, Nayarit, where tourism is the predominant activity. With a survey raised to the population, it was developed a “Structural Equations Model” (SEM) which determine that the impacts of tourism explain in an adequate way the perception of the local population, as it is based on academic literature, with the contribution in this work, that the perception is a predictor of the interest to solve their problems of the community. For the case study, although there are differences in the integration of impacts as perception, there is no significant statistical difference in the perception as a predictor of the interest in participating in the two analyzed populations.

Reliability and feasibility of physical fitness tests in female fibromyalgia patient
We acknowledge Thieme Gruppe and the International Journal of Sports Medicine for publishing our scientific article: https://doi.org/10.1055/S-0034-1390497The aim of the present study was to determine the reliability and feasibility of physical fitness tests in female fibromyalgia patients. 100 female fibromyalgia patients (aged 50.6±8.6 years) performed the following tests twice (7 days interval test-retest): chair sit and reach, back scratch, handgrip strength, arm curl, chair stand, 8 feet up and go, and 6-min walk. Significant differences between test and retest were found in the arm curl (mean difference: 1.25±2.16 repetitions, Cohen d=0.251), chair stand (0.99±1.7 repetitions, Cohen d=0.254) and 8 feet up and go (-0.38±1.09-s, Cohen d=0.111) tests. Intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) range from 0.92 in the arm curl test to 0.96 in the back scratch test. The feasibility of the tests (patients able to complete the test) ranged from 89% in the arm curl test to 100% in the handgrip strength test. Therefore, the reliability and feasibility of the physical fitness tests examined is acceptable for female fibromyalgia patients
