FILOSOFIA POLITICA, REPUBLICA Y EDUCACION DEL CIUDADANO

This paper intends to analyse how the principles that the Enlightenment considered essential for the individual autonomy materialized, for the first time, in an educational policy, whose aim was the moral and civic formation of the citizen. This policy, initiated by Jules Ferry, during The Third French Republic, was carried out according to two axis: the action of the national teachers and the use of different manuals, whose lecture allows us to discover not only the taught values, but also the adopted procedures to achieve the objectives.Este trabajo pretende analizar cómo los principios que la Ilustración había considerado esenciales para la autonomía del individuo se concretaron, por primera vez, en una política educativa que tenía por objeto fundamental la formación moral y cívica del ciudadano. Esta política, iniciada por Jules Ferry, durante la III República Francesa, se articuló en torno a dos ejes: la acción de los maestros nacionales y la utilización de diferentes manuales, cuya lectura nos permite descubrir, no sólo los valores enseñados, sino también los procedimientos adoptados para alcanzar los objetivos

Qui fou aquest filòsof de qui Sol Ferrer diu que el seu pare, Ferrer i Guàrdia, considerava l'autor que més l'havia influenciat? Jean-Marie Guyau, no obstant la seva curta vida, és un autor a la cruïlla de diverses èpoques. Els seus punts de vista sobre l'educació li van valer una audiència internacional. Amb el suport d'una filosofia moral, escrigué sobre la manera com hauria d'ésser l'educació que permetés als joves afrontar en les millors condicions, un món nou, complex i difícil.Who was this philosopher? Sol Ferrer says that his father considered him the author who had most influenced him. Jean-Marie Guyau, despite its short life, is an author at the crossroads of several eras. His views on education earned him an international audience. Teoría moral y anomia

A partir de la distinción entre la concepción de anomia de Durkheim y Guyau, en este texto se expone como Guyau tomando dicho concepto describe la necesidad que tiene la teoría moral de dar un giro en su concepción. Para Guyau la moral deja de configurarse como ley universal, para convertirse en una concepción individualista de la moral. Para Guyau el proceso no solo es inevitable sino deseable.From the distinction between the concept of anomie of Durkheim and Guyau, is exposed as Guyau taking that concept describes the need of the moral theory to take a turn in his conception. For Guyau the moral stops configured as a universal law, to become an individualistic conception of morality. For Guyau the process is not only inevitable, also it is desirable

Solidarity, Care and Permanent Crisis

Solidarity is a contested concept whose definition needs to be clarified, especially in the context of the recent pandemic and in a world in permanent crisis. It is necessary to review certain stages of how solidarity develops and to relate the stages to the current status of solidarity in this post-pandemic period, with the aim of establishing some lines of approach to proposals for viable bioethics in the context of a post-foundational philosophy as the present one
