Prevalencia de prediabetes en adultos de la comunidad de Pueblo Nuevo, Acambay en el periodo de agosto 2011 a julio de 2012

Introducción: La prediabetes debería ser vista como un estado en La historia natural del metabolismo alterado de la glucosa, más que una entidad clínica distintiva, representando una condición interina y como un factor de riesgo, presagiando el desarrollo de diabetes (alto riesgo para diabetes) y un aumento en complicaciones cardiovasculares y posiblemente microvasculares. Objetivo: Determinar Ia prevalencia de prediabetes en adultos de la población de Pueblo Nuevo, Acambay. Material y método: Se revisaron Los expedientes del Centro de Salud Rural Disperso Pueblo Nuevo, quienes cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión de nuestra investigación, se llenó la hoja de recolección de datos por cada paciente que se presentó, se tomó en cuenta edad, género, peso, talla, índice de masa corporal, circunferencia de cintura, glucosa en ayuno, posprandial, colesterol y triglicéridos. Resultados y conclusiones: No se encontró asociación estadísticamente significativa entre Las variables, se encontró que el género femenino presenta la alteración metabólica en mayor porcentaje que el género masculino; el rango de edad más afectado fue el de 50-59 años; el índice de masa corporal que más se asoció fue el de sobrepeso (25-29.9 Kg/rn2), el rango de circunferencia de cintura que se encontró con más frecuencia fue el de > 80 cm en mujeres, el tipo de dislipidemia que se presenta con mayor frecuencia fue La hipertrigliceridemia. La prevalencia de prediabetes en el rango de edad de 30-39 años se encontró en 0.4%, en el rango de 40-49 años fue de 1.2%, de 50-59 años de 3.4%, 60-69 años fue de 3% y finalmente, 3.6% en el rango de 70 y más

Newton's Second Law in a Noncommutative Space

In this work we show that corrections to the Newton's second law appears if we assume that the phase space has a symplectic structure consistent with the rules of commutation of noncommutative quantum mechanis. In the central field case we find that the correction term breaks the rotational symmetry. Peroxidase expression in a cereal cyst nematode (Heterodera avenae) resistant hexaploid wheat line.

The incompatible interaction between plant and pathogen is often determined by the hypersensitive reaction (HR). This response is associated with accumulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), which results in adverse growth conditions for pathogens. Two major mechanisms involving either NADPH oxidases or peroxidases have been proposed for generation of ROS. Peroxidases (PER, EC 1.11.1.7), present in all land plants, are members of a large multigenic family with high number of isoforms involved in a broad range of physiological processes. PER genes, which are expressed in nematode feeding sites, have been identified in several plant species (Zacheo et al. 1997). A strong correlation between HR and PER activities at four and seven days post nematode infection, was detected in roots of wheat lines carrying Cre2, Cre5 (from Ae. ventricosa) or Cre7 (from Ae. triuncialis) Heterodera avenae resistance genes (Andrés et al. 2001; Montes et al. 2003, 2004). We have studied changes in root of peroxidase mRNAs levels after infection by H. avenae of a wheat/Ae. ven¬tricosa introgression line (H-93-8) carrying Cre2 (Delibes et al. 1993). Surface and capillary transitions in an associating binary mixture model

We investigate the phase diagram of a two-component associating fluid mixture in the presence of selectively adsorbing substrates. The mixture is characterized by a bulk phase diagram which displays peculiar features such as closed loops of immiscibility. The presence of the substrates may interfere the physical mechanism involved in the appearance of these phase diagrams, leading to an enhanced tendency to phase separate below the lower critical solution point. Three different cases are considered: a planar solid surface in contact with a bulk fluid, while the other two represent two models of porous systems, namely a slit and an array on infinitely long parallel cylinders. We confirm that surface transitions, as well as capillary transitions for a large area/volume ratio, are stabilized in the one-phase region. Metodología de investigación de Rocas Ornamentales: Granitos.

Durante la realización del proyecto del IGME ·Potencial Básico de Granitos y Neises Ornamentales en Castilla y León se desarrolló una metodología sistemática de investigación de granitos para uso ornamental que, por su versatilidad, puede hacerse extensible, en sus aspectos más generales, a otros tipos de rocas ornamentales e, incluso, rocas industriales en general. Para ello, se desarrollan una serle de fases de trabajo que comprenden: recogida de información, exploración de campo a escalas 1 :50.000, 1 :25.000 y 1: 10.000, valoración de áreas y elección de puntos canterables, todo ello mediante la cuantificación de todos los parámetros y valores que han de tenerse en cuenta en la investigación de rocas ornamentales, que nos permiten dar un tratamiento objetivo a todas las áreas estudiadas
