O roteiro: Portinho de Vila Praia de Âncora

Trabalho de projetoVila Praia de Âncora é uma pequena localidade no norte litoral do país, com cerca de cinco mil habitantes, é uma vila piscatória repleta de tradições. Através do presente projeto existe uma intensão de promover a pesca e o comércio tradicional. Para que assim, possa contribuir para a preservação das práticas costumes e saberes destas gentes. O trabalho prático desenvolvido retrata o roteiro dos peixes e crustáceos desde a sua captura no mar até à sua venda na lota do Portinho de Vila Praia de Âncora. O armador com a sua equipa faz o primeiro processo de captura e, a peixeira com a ajuda da sua irmã vendem esse mesmo peixe na lota. O ROTEIRO assume uma linguagem própria através da representação deste meio, passa assim a ter uma presença singular no mundo, transmitindo pontos de vista próprios através da perceção do autor. Por fim, este projeto resulta num documento visual físico, um fotolivro, permitindo um resgate da memória da atividade desenvolvida por estas gentes em Vila Praia de Âncora.Vila Praia de Âncora is a small town on the north coast of the country, with around five thousand inhabitants, it is a fishing village full of traditions. Through the current project, there is an intention to promote fishing and traditional commerce. So that, in this way, it can contribute to the preservation of the practices, customs, and knowledge of these people. The practical work developed shows the fish and crustaceans route from their capture in the sea to their sale at the fish market at Portinho de Vila Praia de Âncora. The ship owner with his team makes the first catch and the fishmonger, with the help of his sister, sell the fish at the fish market. O ROTEIRO assumes its own language through the representation of this medium, thus having a singular presence in the world, transmitting its own points of view through the author's perception. Finally, this project results in a physical visual document, a photobook, allowing the rescue of the memory of the activity developed by these people in Vila Praia de Âncora

Moisturizing emulsion with Attalea speciosa (babassu) oil as an alternative treatment for cutaneous xerosis in leprosy

This study investigated the moisturizing action of a topical emulsion containing babassu coconut almond oil in xerotic skin volunteers treated or undergoing leprosy treatment. A total of 20 volunteers (16 men and 4 women, with a mean age of 52.2 ± 15.3) with cutaneous xerosis performed the tests after signing the informed consent form. The research subjects were instructed to use the product under investigation (Attalea speciosa almond oil gel-cream formulation) 1 (one) once a day, in two 15-day cycles: first with the gel-cream formulation with babassu oil (treatment A) and the second with the gel-cream formulation without babassu oil (treatment B). The moisturizing emulsion did not significantly alter (p> 0.05) the xerotic skin pH of the volunteers, treatment A (11.6 ± 0.1), treatment B (8.8 ± 0.2) and control (11.4 ± 0.2) at week W7, when compared to week W15, treatment A (11.0 ± 0.4), treatment B (11.6 ± 0.1) and control (11.4 ± 0.2). Clinical evaluations showed the efficacy and good tolerability of topical emulsion in the hydration of xerotic skin. The biophysical evaluation of the moisturizing emulsion proved the significant improvement of skin moisture

A viabilidade de uso do lúdico nas aulas de língua inglesa

Este trabalho visa discutir a viabilidade da utilização do lúdico nas aulas de inglês através de referenciais teóricos, a fim de promover uma maior compreensão e aprendizado por parte dos alunos, estimular a relação professor-aluno, além de observar os resultados que o lúdico pode trazer para o fortalecimento do conhecimento e para o desenvolvimento do ser humano. É uma pesquisa bibliográfica qualitativa que teve como base trabalhos de vários professores/pesquisadores que abordam a ludicidade nas fases infantil, adolescente e adulta, assim como o uso do lúdico nas aulas de inglês por meio de propostas metodológicas sugeridas por alguns pesquisadores no decorrer do estudo. Através da leitura dos textos, foi possível observar que a ludicidade é muito importante como incentivo para os alunos obterem maior conhecimento sobre a língua. Todos os profissionais que realizaram atividades lúdicas em sala de aula alcançaram os seus objetivos.Termos para indexação: aprendizado, conhecimento, lúdicoThis study discuss the feasibility of using playful activities in English class in order to promote a greater understanding and learning by students, encourage student-teacher relationship, besides observing the results that the playful activities can bring to the strengthening of knowledge and the development of human beings. It is a bibliographical qualitative research which was based on the work of several teachers / researchers who deal with playfulness on childhood, adolescence and adulthood, as well as the use of playful activities in English classes. By reading texts it was possible to observe that playfulness is a very important incentive for students to gain greater knowledge of the language. A responsabilidade civil pelos atos autônomos da inteligência artificial: notas iniciais sobre a resolução do parlamento europeu

O desenvolvimento da tecnologia da Inteligência Artificial (IA) está conferindo a computadores a capacidade de aprender e atuar de forma autônoma, ou seja, independente de uma instrução específica de um ser humano. A partir desse cenário, apresenta-se o problema da imputação de responsabilidade por danos causados pelos atos autônomos da IA, através do método dedutivo e da técnica de pesquisa bibliográfica. Para tanto, delimita-se o conceito de IA, as suas principais características, bem como exemplos atuais da sua aplicação e dos possíveis riscos e danos que dela possam derivar. Na segunda parte do artigo, passa-se à análise do debate que vem sendo travado no cenário da União Europeia, registrado recentemente na Resolução do Parlamento Europeu, de 16 de fevereiro de 2017, com recomendações à Comissão de Direito Civil sobre Robótica (2015/2103(INL)). O exame terá como enfoque as disposições da resolução relacionadas com a responsabilidade civil pelos danos causados pelos atos autônomos da IA, contrapondo-se, quando possível, a abordagem conferida pela doutrina estrangeira, nas teorias da IA como ferramenta, com a consequente responsabilidade do usuário ou proprietário, da responsabilidade pelo produto e da responsabilidade objetiva pela gestão de riscos. O exame proposto permite concluir que a resolução europeia trata das teorias de forma complementar, com preponderância da intenção de se aplicar a responsabilidade objetiva daquele que está mais bem colocado para minimizar os riscos e oferecer garantias e de estabelecer a adoção de um seguro obrigatório para absorver os riscos

Mechanisms of corporate governance and performance: analysis of public companies listed in BM&FBovespa

AbstractThe objective of this research is to verify the level of relationship between the mechanisms of corporate governance and the performance of the companies of the public subsector, listed on BM&FBovespa. The research was based on the financial statements from 2010 to 2014, obtained on the BM&FBovespa website, resulting in a sample of 63 companies with 315 observations. In order to calculate the performance proxy of the company, the ROA was used, and for the calculation of the proxies of the corporate governance mechanisms were used for the quality of the audit, the concentration of ownership in common shares and preferred shares, participation in the levels of governance of BM&FBovespa, number of shares held by the government and number of directors in the Board, adapted from the Mollah and Zaman (2015) survey. Convergence with national and international research, the findings of the study showed that such variables as quality of profit, concentration of ownership in preferred shares, participation in governance levels and size of the Board are positively related to the performance of the company; already a concentration of ownership in common shares and number of shares held by the government are negatively related to performance. For future reference, it is recommended to expand other sectors of the market as well as to use other mechanisms of corporate governance, presented in the literature.Keywords: Corporate Governance. Public Subsector.Mecanismos de governança corporativa e desempenho: análise das companhias do subsetor de utilidade pública listadas na BM&FBovespa Resumo O objetivo da pesquisa foi o de verificar o nível de relação entre os mecanismos de governança corporativa e o desempenho das empresas do subsetor de utilidade pública, listadas na BM&FBovespa. A pesquisa teve como base os dados das demonstrações financeiras de 2010 a 2014, obtidas no sítio eletrônico da BM&FBovespa, resultando assim, em uma amostra de 63 empresas, com 315 observações. Para o cálculo da proxy de desempenho da empresa foi utilizado o ROA, e para o cálculo das proxies dos mecanismos de governança corporativa foram utilizadas a qualidade da auditoria, concentração de propriedade em ações ordinárias e em ações preferenciais, participação nos níveis de governança da BM&FBovespa, número de ações mantidas pelo governo e número de diretores no Conselho, adaptado da pesquisa de Mollah e Zaman (2015). Convergente com pesquisas nacionais e internacionais, os achados desse estudo evidenciaram que as variáveis qualidade do lucro, concentração de propriedade em ações preferenciais, participação nos níveis de governança e tamanho do Conselho são positivamente relacionados com o desempenho da empresa; já a concentração de propriedade em ações ordinárias e o número de ações mantidas pelo governo são negativamente relacionadas com o desempenho. Para pesquisas futuras, recomenda-se ampliar a outros setores do mercado bem como utilizar outros mecanismos de governança corporativa, presentes na literatura.Palavras-chave: Governança Corporativa. Experimentação no ensino de física: uma prática no programa residência pedagógica / Experimentation in physics teaching: a practice in the pedagogical residence program

Esse trabalho é fruto de uma pesquisa realizada no Programa Residência Pedagógica que tem por objetivo estimular a prática pedagógica dos graduandos e instigá-los a realizar intervenções na disciplina de Física com os alunos do ensino médio para que os mesmos possam relacionar a teoria encontrada em sala de aula com a prática que vivencia no seu dia a dia. O programa foi executado no Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Pará Campus Bragança com alunos do Curso de Licenciatura em Física e os alunos do Curso de Aquicultura integrado ao ensino médio. Os estudantes do ensino médio foram instruídos a observarem e a realizarem experimentos com base nos conteúdos abordados na disciplina de Física, tendo como mediadores os residentes (participantes do Programa Residência Pedagógica - Física), que instruíram as atividades e debatiam sobre os fenômenos físicos existentes em cada experimento. Com essa intervenção, os residentes puderam observar as diferentes atitudes e conhecimento dos alunos, sempre em conformidade com o professor da disciplina. Diante disso, foi oportunizado aos residentes diferentes formas de abordar temas sobre calorimetria e dilatação dos sólidos, observando a reação dos estudantes, pois os mesmos se mostraram motivados, interessados e receptíveis às atividades

Green Infrastructure: sustainable mechanisms to urban drainage

The urbanization process made that permeable soil areas were gradually reduced due to the increase in civil construction. The urban drainage, once idealized by projects that did not aimed at sustainability, has not been able to meet the cities demand over the years. For this reason, it became necessary to introduce on the basic sanitation projects, more specifically in the urban storm drainage system, new mechanisms that aimed the integration between the environment with the urban environment needs. This article will present mechanisms that can be applied in urban drainage projects by using soil and vegetation as the main resources to conciliate sustainability, comfort and safety for citizens in the urban area. The methodology used to elaborate the research was the bibliographical review, aiming to present a series of elements that can be used in the urban environment in order to improve drainage. However, for such conceptions to be really put into practice, changes in existing legislation are necessary, dissemination of projects already done for the general population, awareness campaigns and qualification of the existing professionals in the market

Indolbutyric Acid (IBA) in the african mahogany (Khaya grandifoliola C. DC.) cuttings and mini-cuttings development

The current expansion of the forest sector in the Cerrado (Brazilian Savannah), especially of the species of genus Khaya sp. (African Mahogany), requires several silvicultural and technical studies of various natures. Seed and clonal propagation enable noble and vigorous seedlings, which will future compose commercial plantations aiming timber production. The species Khaya grandifoliola C. DC is considered of distinct wood characteristics and with great economic potential. The objective of this work was to evaluate the effect of different indolbultyric acid (IBA) concentrations – between 0 and 12 g.L-1– on the rooting of K. grandifoliola cuttings and mini-cuttings. The experiment was carried out at the "Mudas Nobres" private nursery, located in Goiânia (Goiás State, Brazil). The experiment was conducted in a completely randomized design in a 5 × 2 factorial scheme. Each treatment consisted of four replications with 20 cuttings (clonal origin) or mini-cuttings (seed origin) per repetition. Models were also applied to estimate the number of shoots in clonal cuttings, according to the data observed in seed mini-cuttings. The results indicate that IBA has the opposite effect on the two evaluated types of propagule origin, being more suitable for seed mini-cuttings (should apply 8 g.L-1of IBA) and less for clonal cuttings (should not apply IBA). If a standard application must be recommended (to cuttings either mini-cuttings), the most appropriate concentration is 6 g.L-1of IBA

Earning Quality e o Desempenho das Companhias Brasileiras de Capital Aberto

The present work to analyze the relationship between earning quality versus performance of Brazilian companies listed in Brazil, Bolsa, Balcão (B3). The methodology consists of a descriptive, basic and quantitative approach with static panel data and multiple regression application. With a sample of 371 Brazilian publicly traded companies from 2010 to 2016. Nine relevant research hypotheses were elaborated on the relationship between the quality of profit and performance. We confirmed the hypothesis of the relation between the persistence with Return on Asset (ROA) and the persistence relation with the Operating Cash Flow (FCO). It is concluded that the main contribution of the research is the confirmation of the positive relation of the proxy persistence with the performance of the companies in Brazil.O presente trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a relação entre qualidade do lucro versus desempenho das empresas brasileiras listadas na Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão (B3). A metodologia constitui-se de uma abordagem descritiva, básica e quantitativa com dados em painel estático e aplicação de regressão múltipla. Contando com uma amostra de 371 empresas brasileiras de capital aberto no período de 2010 a 2016. Foram elaboradas nove hipóteses de pesquisa pertinentes a relação entre a qualidade do lucro e o desempenho. Foram confirmadas as hipóteses de relação da persistência com o Retorno sobre o Ativo (ROA) e de relação da persistência com o Fluxo de Caixa Operacional (FCO). Conclui-se que a principal contribuição da pesquisa é a confirmação da relação positiva da proxy persistência com o desempenho das empresa no Brasil
