Determinación de la resistencia de muretes fabricados con bloques de tierra comprimida compuestos por suelos derivados de cenizas volcánicas, cartón y cal, como alternativa de construcción de muros no estructurales

CD-T 693 L846; 123 pLa introducción de nuevas técnicas de construcción siempre pretenderá el mejoramiento de muchos aspectos que suelen ser un obstáculo importante para llevar cabo las técnicas que ya se tenían; en este caso particular, lo que se pretende es que en construcciones de baja altura, la estructura principal esté conformada por bloques de tierra comprimida (considerados artesanales por los materiales que los compondrán y las técnicas de elaboración). Para hacer posible que los BTC tradicionales sean considerados una alternativa efectiva y segura para llevar a cabo procesos constructivos en diversas obras civiles, se requiere tener la certeza de que estos pueden significar una vivienda simple pero segura para las comunidades. Puede ser éste el punto clave del verdadero propósito de innovar en nuevas técnicas y metodologías que permitan tener una perspectiva más amplia acerca de lo que se puede lograr en el mundo si se trabaja de mano de la ciencia en busca de nuevos caminos hacia el desarrollo.Universidad Libre Seccional Pereir

La imagen y la narrativa como herramientas para el abordaje psicosocial en escenarios de violencia. Departamentos del Huila, Caquetá, Putumayo y Tolima

La violencia y el conflicto armado han provocado grandes afectaciones a los derechos humanos en los territorios de Colombia. Así, las distintas modalidades o prácticas crueles de violencia perpetradas por los grupos al margen de la ley degradan la dignidad de los individuos, dejando consigo miles de víctimas que requieren atención y acompañamiento psicosocial. Es así, como por medio del enfoque narrativo, éstas expresan públicamente su dolor y la verdad de sus realidades para reivindicar sus vidas, reparar, exigir justicia y verdad. Teniendo en cuenta lo anterior, el diplomado de acompañamiento psicosocial en escenarios de violencia facilita la creación de espacios reflexivos para analizar los eventos psicosociales traumáticos, producto de la violencia, desde un enfoque narrativo. Por tanto, el presente trabajo plantea los siguientes apartados; en el primer apartado: análisis de relatos de historias que retornan de la Comisión de la verdad, se aborda el caso de Nelson identificando los elementos que en este se movilizan para romper ciclos de violencia e injusticia y, a su vez, se formulan algunas preguntas de tipo circular, reflexiva y estratégica. En segunda instancia, se presenta el análisis del caso El Salado, identificando en él los emergentes psicosociales, el impacto bio-psico-socio-cultural, elementos de violencia, resiliencia y de transformación y, se presentan diversas estrategias psicosociales que facilitan la potenciación de recursos de afrontamiento en dicha comunidad. Luego, se comparte un informe analítico el cual refleja la sistematización de la experiencia de foto voz. Se finaliza el presente informe con las conclusiones, producto de lo abordado.Violence and the armed conflict have caused serious damage to human rights in the territories of Colombia. Thus, the different modalities or cruel practices of violence perpetrated by groups outside the law degrade the dignity of individuals, leaving behind thousands of victims who require attention and psychosocial support. This is how through the narrative approach, they publicly express their pain and the truth of their realities to claim their lives, repair, demand justice and truth. Taking the above into account, the psychosocial accompaniment course in violence scenarios facilitates the creation of reflective spaces to analyze traumatic psychosocial events, a product of violence, from a narrative approach. Therefore, the present work raises the following sections; In the first section: analysis of stories that return from the Truth Commission, the case of Nelson is addressed, identifying the elements that are mobilized in it to break cycles of violence and injustice and, in turn, some questions are formulated of a circular, reflective and strategic type. In the second instance, the analysis of the El Salado case is presented, identifying in it the psychosocial emergents, the bio-psycho-socio-cultural impact, elements of violence, resilience and transformation, and various psychosocial strategies that facilitate the empowerment of coping resources in that community. Then, an analytical report is shared which reflects the systematization of the photo voice experience. This report ends with the conclusions, product of what was discussed

La imagen y la narrativa como herramientas para el abordaje psicosocial en escenarios de violencia. Municipios de Tunja, Duitama, Chiquinquirá, Manizales y Dosquebradas

El documento evidencia la huella que ha dejado el conflicto armado en la historia y memoria de Colombia y cómo muchas personas se han visto implicadas en esta situación, desde niños hasta adultos mayores, nadie queda fuera de esta lucha. Las afectaciones psicosociales que ha dejado el conflicto son innumerables como la división del tejido social, sufrimiento y resentimiento, sin embargo, muchas de las víctimas desarrollan capacidad resiliente que les permite cambiar la condición de victimas a sobrevivientes, afrontando de manera diferente la situación generando resultados positivos en sus vidas. Posteriormente, se muestra el análisis y la reflexión de dos casos enlazados de manera directa con el conflicto armado; el relato de Carlos Arturo Bravo de tan solo 14 años de edad quien resultó afectado por las esquirlas de una bomba granada la cual fue abandonada por grupos armados en un cafetal cobrando la vida de su mejor amigo. El siguiente caso es el de Peñas Coloradas, una población expropiada de su territorio por ser considerados aliados de las FARC, lo que ocasionó destierro a los habitantes de dicha comunidad. El análisis de los casos desde su propia narrativa permite un acercamiento a la realidad desde la teoría y los conocimientos adquiridos, sin embargo, es necesario visualizar dicha realidad desde la óptica de las víctimas mediante un abordaje psicosocial que en conjunto con las preguntas orientadoras permiten conocer los impactos generados por la violencia, posiciones resilientes y subjetivas en lo individual y en la colectividad.The document shows the mark that the armed conflict has left on the history and memory of Colombia and how many people have been involved in this situation, from children to the elderly, no one is left out of this fight. The psychosocial effects that the conflict has left are innumerable, such as the division of the social fabric, suffering and resentment, however, many of the victims develop resilient capacity that allows them to change the condition of victims to survivors, facing the situation in a different way, generating results positive in their lives. Subsequently, the analysis and reflection of two cases directly linked to the armed conflict is shown; the story of Carlos Arturo Bravo, only 14 years old, who was affected by the splinters of a grenade bomb which was abandoned by armed groups in a coffee plantation, claiming the life of his best friend. The following case is that of Peñas Coloradas, a population expropriated from its territory for being considered accomplices of the FARC, which caused the exile of the inhabitants of that community. The analysis of the cases from their own narrative allows an approach to reality from the theory and the knowledge acquired, however, it is necessary to visualize said reality from the perspective of the victims through a psychosocial approach that, together with the guiding questions, allows knowing the impacts generated by violence, resilient and subjective positions in the individual and in the community

Frequency, risk factors, and outcomes of hospital readmissions of COVID-19 patients

To determine the proportion of patients with COVID-19 who were readmitted to the hospital and the most common causes and the factors associated with readmission. Multicenter nationwide cohort study in Spain. Patients included in the study were admitted to 147 hospitals from March 1 to April 30, 2020. Readmission was defined as a new hospital admission during the 30 days after discharge. Emergency department visits after discharge were not considered readmission. During the study period 8392 patients were admitted to hospitals participating in the SEMI-COVID-19 network. 298 patients (4.2%) out of 7137 patients were readmitted after being discharged. 1541 (17.7%) died during the index admission and 35 died during hospital readmission (11.7%, p = 0.007). The median time from discharge to readmission was 7 days (IQR 3-15 days). The most frequent causes of hospital readmission were worsening of previous pneumonia (54%), bacterial infection (13%), venous thromboembolism (5%), and heart failure (5%). Age [odds ratio (OR): 1.02; 95% confident interval (95% CI): 1.01-1.03], age-adjusted Charlson comorbidity index score (OR: 1.13; 95% CI: 1.06-1.21), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (OR: 1.84; 95% CI: 1.26-2.69), asthma (OR: 1.52; 95% CI: 1.04-2.22), hemoglobin level at admission (OR: 0.92; 95% CI: 0.86-0.99), ground-glass opacification at admission (OR: 0.86; 95% CI:0.76-0.98) and glucocorticoid treatment (OR: 1.29; 95% CI: 1.00-1.66) were independently associated with hospital readmission. The rate of readmission after hospital discharge for COVID-19 was low. Advanced age and comorbidity were associated with increased risk of readmission

La presente colección, en su primera publicación, recoge la experiencia del I Congreso Internacional de Educación para el Desarrollo en Perspectiva Latinoamericana- EpDl “Convergencias y divergencias. Se presenta el plan tecnológico del Centro de Diseño e Innovación Tecnológico Industrial del SENA para la vigencia 2002 - 2030. Comprende el análisis y diagnóstico de la industria risaraldense, sus necesidades y tendencias, con enfoque a la industria 4.0. Se provee información para: identificar tecnologías y ocupaciones emergentes que permitan anticipar la definición de perfiles de instructores, determinar requerimientos de modernización de infraestructura física y tecnológica del Centro de formación, actualizar, crear o eliminar programas de formación, establecer el tipo de formación, servicios tecnológicos e innovación que el centro de formación ofrecerá en un horizonte de 10 años e identificar los proyectos y actores estratégicos para el centro de formación.The technological plan of the SENA Industrial Technological Design and Innovation Center for the period 2002-2030 is presented. The Research Journey as a Challenge Towards New Trends

Gobernanza del recurso hídrico subterráneo en el municipio de Yopal

This article focuses on analyzing how institutional, social, and individual stakeholders are involved in the protection of groundwater resources, in order to evaluate their roles in its governance. The objective is achieved through the collection of information from field work, regulatory review, and literature, including surveys and interviews, permitting a qualitative approach to understanding the adopted behaviors in light of this vital resource. The results of the investigation demonstrate that there is discordance among the stakeholders who operate independently and according to their own criteria. Understanding the current state of the water management crisis allows consideration of alternative solutions to this problem, in order to promote true protection and sustainable use of hydro-subterranean resourcesEl presente artículo se enfoca en analizar cómo se involucran los actores institucionales, sociales y el individuo con miras a la protección del recurso hídrico subterráneo, para así evaluar su rol dentro de la gobernanza. Este objetivo se desarrolla a través de la recolección de información por medio del trabajo de campo, la revisión normativa y bibliográfica, así como encuestas y entrevistas, permitiéndose el acercamiento cualitativo para conocer las conductas adoptadas frente a este recurso vital. Los resultados de la investigación muestran que hay una desarticulación entre los distintos actores, quienes operan de forma independiente y según sus criterios individuales y de allí la tesis central, la crisis en el manejo del agua, por lo que al tener conocimiento del estado actual se plantea alternativas que permitan superar esta problemática, con miras a promover una real protección yuso sostenible del recurso hídrico subterráneo
