Accessibility within 15 minutes - Development of an evaluation model for Lisbon

Project Work presented as the partial requirement for obtaining a Master's degree in Information Management, specialization in Knowledge Management and Business IntelligenceWhile the phenomenon of urbanization takes place, it is critical to adapt cities to the ordinary citizen and not the other way around. The 15-minute city concept proposed in 2016 by the scientist Carlos Moreno comes as a way to achieve that goal by improving sustainable accessibility in urban spaces through proximity-based planning. Ultimately, the goal is to promote space-time efficiency, sustainability, and well-being. Aiming to support this urban ideal, the present study proposes a model to evaluate the municipality of Lisbon against a 15-minute city by employing an innovative accessibility mapping model. The purpose of the model is to investigate Lisbon’s potential to become a 15-minute city and, ultimately, to aid governors and urban planners in supporting its redesign, as well as to inform citizens about nearby services of interest. In this study, a comprehensive investigation was conducted on the most significant 15-minute cityrelated topics, followed by the creation of a framework based on essential urban amenities that must be accessible within a walking or cycling distance of 15 minutes. Afterwards, open geographical data was gathered for the identified services and used to develop an interactive and user-centric app, enabling on-demand analysis and providing presentation-ready reports

Mechanism of Alkyl Migration in Diorganomagnesium 2,6-Bis(imino)pyridine Complexes: Formation of Grignard-Type Complexes with Square-Planar Mg(II) Centers

Dialkylmagnesium compounds [MgR2L2] (R = n-Bu, L = none or R = Bn, L = THF) react with 2,6-bis(imino)pyridines (BIP) to afford different types of Mg(II) alkyl complexes, depending on the nature of R. For R = n-Bu, thermally stable products resulting from selective alkyl transfer to the pyridine nitrogen (N1) atom are obtained. However, NMR studies showed that the reaction of [Mg(Bn)2THF2] with iPrBIP at −65 °C leads to a thermally unstable product arising from benzyl migration to position C2 in the pyridine ring. Above +5 °C, this compound rearranges, cleanly yielding a mixture of two isomeric complexes, in which the benzyl group has migrated to positions C3 or C4 of the central ring, respectively. Similar isomeric mixtures were obtained when [Mg(Bn)2THF2] was reacted with iPrBIP or MesBIP at room temperature. Such mixtures are thermally stable below 80 °C, but at this temperature, the 3-benzyl isomer converts into the thermodynamically favored 4-benzyl product, albeit not quantitatively. An alternate route was devised for the selective syntheses of the latter type of compounds. Netrin-1 in Glioblastoma Neovascularization: The New Partner in Crime?

Glioblastoma (GBM) is the most aggressive and common primary tumor of the central nervous system. It is characterized by having an infiltrating growth and by the presence of an excessive and aberrant vasculature. Some of the mechanisms that promote this neovascularization are angiogenesis and the transdifferentiation of tumor cells into endothelial cells or pericytes. In all these processes, the release of extracellular microvesicles by tumor cells plays an important role. Tumor cell-derived extracellular microvesicles contain pro-angiogenic molecules such as VEGF, which promote the formation of blood vessels and the recruitment of pericytes that reinforce these structures. The present study summarizes and discusses recent data from different investigations suggesting that Netrin-1, a highly versatile protein recently postulated as a non-canonical angiogenic ligand, could participate in the promotion of neovascularization processes in GBM. The relevance of determining the angiogenic signaling pathways associated with the interaction of Netrin-1 with its receptors is posed. Furthermore, we speculate that this molecule could form part of the microvesicles that favor abnormal tumor vasculature. Oxygen-Induced Dimerization of Alkyl-Manganese(II) 2,6-Bisiminopyridine Complexes: Selective Synthesis of a New Ditopic NNN-Pincer Ligand

The outcome of the reaction of manganese(II) dialkyls with 2,6-bisiminopyridine (BIP) ligands is dramatically altered by the presence of very small amounts of oxygen (< 0.5 mol %), leading to binuclear species. These arise from the dimerization of the initial product, a Mn(II) 4-alkyl-2,6-bisiminodihydropyridinate alkyl complex. Cleavage of the binuclear Mn products with methanol affords the free dimeric bases, which can be regarded as a special type of ditopic NNN pincer ligand with an unusual tricyclic framework. At the "San Isidro" School has become aware of the importance of Eco-education for the conservation and ecological reconstruction of our world and, with it, our living conditions. The concern and awareness of the subject is greater as it delves deeper and works on it. For the social awareness of this problem it is not enough to work on it from childhood, with specific activities and objectives, but it is necessary to start from a holistic project that includes that children capture the nature of the situation and develop an active and critical awareness of intervention.En la Escuela de Educación Infantil “San Isidro” hemos tomado conciencia de la importancia de la ecoeducación para la conservación y reconstrucción ecológica de nuestro mundo y, con ello, de nuestras condiciones de vida. Entre Bastidores: Evaluación empleando Métodos Numéricos

El bastidor de un tractor es ¿la estructura metálica perteneciente al chasis encargada de soportar todo el peso del vehículo?. En los tractores, debido a su gran compacidad, escasa longitud y elevada posición del centro de gravedad, el bastidor dominante durante el último siglo ha sido el bastidor de tipo monocasco. Recientemente, con el objetivo de reducir la relación masa/potencia, se vienen implantando en algunos modelos los bastidores de tipo chasis. En el mundo, equipos de ingenieros investigan y desarrollan métodos numéricos empleando distintos modelos de bastidores tanto de tipo chasis como en los modelos de bastidores tradicionales. Esto ha permitido mejorar su diseño y facilitar el uso. Además, las marcas de maquinaria agrícola potencian también la investigación para crear innovaciones estructurales que no hayan sido planteadas anteriormente y que supongan un ahorro en los costes de producción así como una mejora de las prestaciones de la máquina

Past and present of the Historical Archive of the province of Río Negro

Este trabajo busca reconstruir una historia del Archivo Histórico de la Provincia de Río Negro. Esta institución está cumpliendo medio siglo de vida y en su trayectoria se revelan diferentes avatares de la historia rionegrina. El objetivo es evidenciar periodos de funcionamiento del archivo, así como políticas que lo atravesaron y que dan por resultado su presente. Consideramos que los archivos lejos de ser instituciones dadas y estancas reflejan relaciones de poder y disputas políticas en torno a las narrativas históricas y producciones de identidad hegemónicas. Además, y en base al informe producido por la Dirección de Archivo Intermedio del AGN en el 2017, el AHPRN contiene un acervo destacado en la Patagonia. Sin embargo, sus condiciones de acceso y conservación se encuentran en riesgo debido tanto a la carencia de clasificación y ordenamiento como a las inundaciones recurrentes que sufrió entre el 2018-2019. Ante una inminente pérdida de material documental nos preguntamos ¿Cuándo surge el AHPRN y con qué objetivos? ¿Cómo se reunió, organizó y creó este Archivo? ¿Qué rol tuvo y tiene como lugar de la memoria? Para reconstruir la vida del Archivo realizamos entrevistas y consultas personales a trabajadores retirados y activos. Recurrimos también a normativa y artículos de prensa. Así como a nuestra propia experiencia en tanto trabajadora y usuarias -respectivamente- del Archivo.This work seeks to reconstruct a history of the Historical Archive of the Province of Río Negro. The fifty years old trajectory of the institution reveals different vicissitudes of Rio Negro’s history. The objective of this paper is to organize periods of operation of the archive, as well as the policies that ruled it in order to understand its present. We consider that archives, far from being given and stagnant institutions, reflect power relations and political disputes around historical narratives and hegemonic identity productions. In addition, and based on the report produced by the Argentina’s General National Archive in 2017, the HAPRN contains an outstanding collection in Patagonia. However, its access and conservation conditions are at risk due to both the lack of classification and ordering and the recurring floods it suffered between 2018-2019. Faced with an imminent loss of documentary material, we ask ourselves when did the HAPRN arise and with what objectives? How was this Archive assembled, organized and created? What role did and does it have as a place of memory? To rebuild the life of the Archive, we conducted interviews and personal consultations with retired and active workers. El maltrato físico y psicológico en los niños de 3 años del nivel inicial de la Institución Educativa N°813-Quinuayoc-Chetilla- Cajamarca.

La monografía presenta el tema relacionado al maltrato físico y psicológico en los niños de 3 años del nivel inicial de la Institución Educativa N°813-Quinuayoc-Chetilla- Cajamarca. Los maltratos son cotidianos en los hogares, es por ello que estudiar el mismo es un reto importante en el presente siglo. Este trabajo de investigación que se presenta en esta oportunidad discute teóricamente los contenidos más importantes del maltrato. Diversos niños son maltratados o afectados por la violencia al interior de los hogares, así como también son testigos en muchos casos de la violencia familiar entre papá y mamá. Los niños que observan la violencia al anterior de sus hogares muchas veces reproducen también los diversos problemas que ella implica
