En este Trabajo de Fin de Grado se ha llevado a cabo el diseño y desarrollo de un Sistema Urbano de Purificación de Partículas Contaminantes presentes en el aire. Este proyecto responde a la acuciante necesidad que presentan todos los grandes núcleos urbanos, los cuales han visto como en los últimos años, el número de días con altas concentraciones de partículas en el aire ha ido aumentando. Moralization y Work and Education at the beginnings of the assistentialpolicy in the XIX century

Coinciding with the growth of poverty at the beginning of the XIX century, we see how the State gradually begins to assume control over social affairs. The private and eclesiastic charity of the Old Regime begins to transform in public charity although marginal society still receives the same treatment, which basically intends their moralization. Basic elements of this moralization were work and education, that are the main points of this article, which in particular refers to charity establishments. Work and education for the poors were requirements that were reiterated in the writings of philantropists, politicians and moralists, following the tradition of the preceding centuries, and which were written into the legislation of the XIX century, the same as in the statutes of the poor houses. An always basic education and with a strong practical character, that intended basically to neutralize the risks of social dangers, transmitting the values of the dominant society.Coincidiendo con el incremento de la pobreza a comienzos del siglo xix, asistimos a la paulatina asunción del control social por parte del Estado. La caridad privada y eclesiástica del Antiguo Régimen, comenzará a transformarse en beneficencia pública, aunque sigue dándose un mismo tratamiento a la sociedad marginal, tratamiento que básicamente pretende su moralización. Fundamentos básicos de esa moralización fueron el trabajo y la educación, que centran el interés de este artículo, en particular referidos a los establecimientos benéficos. Trabajo y educación para los pobres fueron exigencias que se reiteraron en los escritos de filántropos, políticos y moralistas, siguiendo la tradición de los siglos precedentes, y que se fueron integrando en la legislación decimonónica, así como en los documentos rectores de los lugares de acogida. Una educación siempre elemental y con un fuerte carácter profesionalizador, que pretendía, básicamente, neutralizar los riesgos de la peligrosidad social, transmitiendo los valores de la sociedad dominante

El regeneracionismo educativo en Rafael Altamira : estudio aproximativo

Acercamiento a la ideología y obra de Rafael Altamira, uno de los máximos representantes del Regeneracionismo Educativo hispano de finales del siglo XIX, principios del XX. Regeneracionismo Educativo hispano de Altamira. Aproximación histórica, social y cultural a la España de la época. Aproximación bibliográfica y análisis del tema educativo a través de su ideario pedagógico. Propuestas de Altamira para la regeneración de la educación tanto en la Enseñanza Primaria como en la Superior. Bibliografía. Documentos de archivo. Investigación histórica. Análisis descriptivo. La vida y obra de Altamira tienen su origen en el Krausismo positivo, que actúa desde unos principios y volación definidas sobre una realidad concreta e imperfecta. Dentro de esta línea Altamira participará de la corriente regeneracionista. La educación se convierte en levadura capaz de actualizar las potencialidades del pueblo español, poseyendo una doble virtualidad: el ideal de perfección humana individual y la consecución de una sociedad mejor por la acción positiva de todos los ciudadanos. Por ello es necesario una educación al alcance de todos y en especial del obrero. La revitalización social por la educación. Tiene su primer fundamento en la Escuela Primaria y en su acción total. Y de entre las materias, la historia adquiere importancia relevante como requisito indispensable de la regeneración nacional. Las obras históricas de Altamira son obras de síntesis, que hacen de ellas adecuadas instrumentos de educación histórica. Altamira se encuentra inmerso en la corriente de revitalización histórica europea que daría lugar a una modificación de la metodología y a una preocupación profunda por los temas de Educación Moral y Pacifismo tras los movimientos belicistas, en la que la enseñanza de la Historia puede ocupar un importante papel.ES

Nezara viridula (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae) transcriptomic analysis and neuropeptidomics

Stinkbugs (Hemiptera: Pentatomidae) are of major economic importance as pest of crops. Among the species composing the stinkbug complex, Nezara viridula is one of the most abundant in Brazil, Argentina and the Southern USA. However, this species has been poorly characterized at the genetic and physiological level. Here we sequenced and analyzed the complete transcriptome of N. viridula male and female adults. We identified neuropeptide precursor genes and G-protein coupled receptors for neuropeptides in this transcriptome. Mature neuropeptides were identified in N. viridula brain extracts by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. We also analyzed the neuropeptide precursor complement in the genome sequence of Halyomorpha halys, another pentatomid of economic relevance. We compared the results in both pentatomids with the well-characterized neuropeptide repertoire from the kissing bug Rhodnius prolixus (Hemiptera: Reduviidae). We identified both group-specific features (which could be related to the different feeding habits) and similarities that could be characteristic of Heteroptera. This work contributes to a deeper knowledge of the genetic information of these pests, with a focus on neuroendocrine system characterization.Fil: Lavore, Andres Esteban. Incidencia del acompañamiento familiar en el desarrollo emocional de los niños y las niñas en el Centro Educativo Los Pioneros.

Analizar la incidencia del acompañamiento familiar en el desarrollo emocional de los niños y niñas del Centro Educativo Los Pioneros sede Envigado.El acompañamiento brindado por parte de la familia desde los primeros años es fundamental para lograr un desarrollo emocional adecuado, permitiendo que los niños y niñas sean más independientes y seguros de sí mismos, fortaleciendo en ellos la facilidad de enfrentarse a las situaciones que se les presentan diariamente y alcanzando los objetivos que se le propongan a nivel cognitivo, social y personal. Con el siguiente trabajo se pretende analizar la incidencia del acompañamiento familiar en el desarrollo emocional de los niños y niñas del Centro Educativo Los Pioneros sede Envigado, buscando crear estrategias que permitan que el tiempo que comparten los niños con sus padres sea óptimo y fortalezca los lazos familiares logrando un pleno desarrollo en ellos. El tipo de investigación que se aplicará a este proyecto es investigación Cualitativa, donde se analizarán y describirán las conductas, las opciones, las percepciones y los pensamientos de cada uno de los miembros de la comunidad a investigar por medio de análisis de observación, cuestionarios y entrevistas realizadas a padres de familia, estudiantes y docentes del Centro Educativo los Pioneros. Los resultados obtenidos luego de la investigación fueron positivos, a pesar de que la mayoría de padres delegan a terceros el cuidado de sus hijos debido a las múltiples ocupaciones que tienen, acogieron de buena manera las actividades propuestas y aprendieron a optimizar el tiempo brindando acompañamiento de calidad y así fortalecer en sus hijos el desarrollo emocional.The accompaniment provided by the family from the first years is fundamental to achieve an adequate emotional development, allowing children to be more independent and self-confident, strengthening in them the ease of facing the situations presented to them on a daily basis and achieving the objectives proposed to them at a cognitive, social and personal level. The following work intends to analyze the incidence of family support in the emotional development of boys and girls of the Centro Educativo los Pioneros, Envigado headquarters, seeking to create strategies that allow the time that children share with their parents to be optimal and strengthen family ties, achieving full development in them. The type of research that will be applied to this project is qualitative research, where the behaviors, options, perceptions and thoughts of each member of the community to be investigated through observation analysis will be analyzed and described, questionnaires and interviews made to parents, students and teachers of the Centro Educativo los Pioneros. The results obtained after the investigation were positive, despite the fact that most parents delegate the care of their children to third parties due to the multiple occupations they have, they welcomed the proposed activities in a good way and learned to optimize time by providing quality accompaniment and thus strengthen their children's emotional development

A deep Q-network-based algorithm for multi-connectivity optimization in heterogeneous cellular-networks †

The use of multi-connectivity has become a useful tool to manage the traffic in heterogeneous cellular network deployments, since it allows a device to be simultaneously connected to multiple cells. The proper exploitation of this technique requires to adequately configure the traffic sent through each cell depending on the experienced conditions. This motivates this work, which tackles the problem of how to optimally split the traffic among the cells when the multi-connectivity feature is used. To this end, the paper proposes the use of a deep reinforcement learning solution based on a Deep Q-Network (DQN) in order to determine the amount of traffic of a device that needs to be delivered through each cell, making the decision as a function of the current traffic and radio conditions. The obtained results show a near-optimal performance of the DQN-based solution with an average difference of only 3.9% in terms of reward with respect to the optimum strategy. Moreover, the solution clearly outperforms a reference scheme based on Signal to Interference Noise Ratio (SINR) with differences of up to 50% in terms of reward and up to 166% in terms of throughput for certain situations. Overall, the presented results show the promising performance of the DQN-based approach that establishes a basis for further research in the topic of multi-connectivity and for the application of this type of techniques in other problems of the radio access networkThis paper is part of ARTIST project (ref. Province of Cádiz Coastal Management Programme

El litoral de la provincia de Cádiz es un área de alto valor ecológico y de gran importancia socioeconómica que da soporte a sectores clave de la economía local (turismo, construcción naval, tráfico marítimo, etc.). Es también un sistema frágil, dinámico y complejo sometido a numerosas presiones por parte del ser humano a las que ahora se suman los riesgos del cambio climático, cada vez más patentes en los municipios litorales de la provincia en forma de intensificación de procesos de erosión litoral, subida del nivel del mar o incremento de la frecuencia y la intensidad de los fenómenos meteorológicos extremos. La Fundación Medio Ambiente, Energía y Sostenibilidad de la Diputación de Cádiz ha desarrollado, con el apoyo de la Fundación Biodiversidad del Ministerio para la Transición Ecológica y Reto Demográfico, un Programa para la Gestión Costera con el objetivo de hacer frente al reto climático integrando la adaptación en la gestión y planificación de los municipios litorales de la provincia. Mediante un método participativo se han definido 57 medidas a ejecutar en el corto/medio plazo que inciden en el campo de la información y el conocimiento, la educación y la comunicación, la formación, la cooperación y asistencia a municipios y los recursos. De manera complementaria se ha puesto en marcha el Pacto por la Sostenibilidad de la Costa Gaditana, como herramienta de comunicación, coordinación y cooperación interadministrativa en el ámbito costero provincial y se ha elaborado material de apoyo y acciones de formación para responsables de la gestión local. El Programa también incluye acciones de apoyo a la educación ambiental sobre cambio climático en la costa.The coast of the province of Cádiz (south-western Spain) is a high ecological value area and great socioeconomic importance: coastal municipalities account more than 60% of the province’s population and support key development sectors (tourism, shipbuilding, maritime traffic, etc.). It is also a fragile, dynamic and complex system affected by many human pressures. Climate change is also threatening coastal areas. Its evidences are becoming increasingly clear in the province: intensification of coastal erosion processes, sea level rise or an increase in the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events. The Provincial Government of Cádiz has developed, with support of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition through the Biodiversity Foundation, a Coastal Management Programme with the aim to face climate challenge by integrating adaptation in coastal municipalities’ planning and management. Through a participatory process, 57 measures to be implemented in the short/medium term have been defined targeting the field of information and knowledge, education and communication, training, cooperation and assistance to municipalities and resources. In a complementary way, Covenant for the Sustainability of the Coast has been launched, as a tool for communication, coordination and inter-administrative cooperation in the provincial coastal area. Support material and capacity building actions for local entities’ representative have been developed. Magnetic domains on magnetite islands: from XMCD-PEEM to micromagnetism

Oral presentation given at the 13th European Conference on Surface Crystallography and Dynamics, held in Donostia-San Sebastián, Spain, on June 19-21th, 2017.Magnetite nanostructures and thin films have been grown in spintronic devices such as spin valves in order to take advantage of the high Curie temperature, stability, and predicted half-metal character. However, thin films present magnetic properties which are rather different from the properties of bulk magnetite: high coercive fields, high saturation fields, out-of-plane magnetization, superparamagnetism in ultrathin films, or unexpected easy-axes. An explanation for these effects are growth defects, among which antiphase domain boundaries (APBs) are the best example. In the present work, we study the magnetic domains on flat single-crystal magnetite and other mixed spinels grown on Ru(0001) by molecular beam epitaxy [1,2]. As each island grows from a single nucleus, there are expected to be free of APBs. We have measured with nanometer-resolution the 3D magnetization of the islands by combining x-ray magnetic circular dichroism images acquired in a photoemission electron microscope at different azimuthal angles. The 3D magnetization maps have been used as the initial magnetization configuration for micromagnetic simulations of islands with the same lateral and vertical dimensions as the experimental ones. The Mumax3 software has been used to perform the micromagnetic simulations. By comparing the evolution of the micromagnetic simulations with the experimental behavior of the islands after annealing, we seek to validate the material parameters that define their magnetic behavior and to identify cases where defects or other effects play a role
