    Tulisan ini berupaya menjelaskan pendidikan Islam dalam kajian Psikologi Islam. Psikologi Islam adalah suatu pendekatan studidalam memahami kejiwaan  dan perilaku manusia yang berdasarkan konsep tauhid, dengan cara integrasi antara ilmu dan iman. PsikologiIslam adalah sebuah bentuk  psikologi yang berlandaskan citra manusiamenurut ajaran Islam, mempelajari keunika n dan pola perilaku manusia sebagai ungkapan pengalaman interaksi dengan diri sendiri, lingkungan sekitar, dan alam rohani dengan tujuan meningkatkan kesehatan mentaldan kualitas hidup keberagamaan, serta menggapai kebahagiaan hidup  di dunia dan di akhirat. Salah satu upaya untuk dapat membangunkem bali peradaban manusia dan penyempurnaan konsep perilaku manusia itu adalah dengan berpendidikan dan memahami konsepkonsep pendidikan dalam Islam, serta penyempurnaan jiwa yang diisi dengan iman dapatlah dibahas dalam kajian ilmu Psikologi Islam yang berlandaskan pada Al-Qur’an dan Hadist. Dalam pendidikan Islam telah diletakkan dasar-dasar Al-Qur’an yang berkenaan dengan tujuan pendidikan Islam dan materi-materi yang harus diajarkan dalam pendidikan Islam. Materi-materi yang akan disampaikan sebaiknya menggunakan metode yang menarik dan menjadi persoalan esensial dalam rangka tercapainya tujuan pendidikan Islam yang diharapkan. Berdasarkan pada begitu eratnya antara tugas psikologi Islam yang lebih menekankan pada jiwa ini sangat berpengaruh dalam ilmu pendidikan Islam. Jiwa yang bersih tentunya akan mudah dalam menerima dan mengaplikasikan konsep-konsep pendidikan Islam yang berdasarkan pada Al-Qur’an dan Sunnah Rasulullah SAW.     The aim of this paper is to explain Islamic education in the study of Islamic Psychology. Islamic psychology is a study approach to understanding human psychology and behavior based on the concept of monotheism, by means of integration between science and faith. Islamic psychology is a form of psychology that is based on the image of man in Islam, study the uniqueness and the patterns of human behavior as an expression of the experience of interaction with oneself, the environment, and the spiritual realm with the aim of improving the mental health and quality of religious life, and reaching happiness of life in the world and the hereafter. One effort to rebuild human civilization and refinement of the concept of human behavior that is educated and understand the concepts of education in Islam, as well as the refinement of the soul that is filled with faith it can be discussed in the study of the science of Psychology Islam which is based on the Qur'an and Hadis. In Islamic education has laid the foundations of the Qur'an concerning the objectives of Islamic education and materials that should be taught in Islamic education. The materials will be delivered using methods that should be attractive and essential issue in order to achieve the expected goals of Islamic education. Based on so tightly between tasks Islamic psychology with emphasis on the soul of this very influential in the science of Islamic education. Pure soul must be easy to accept and apply the concepts of Islamic education that is based on the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad.     Perilaku Maladaptive Anak dan Pengukurannya

    Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah berupaya memahami perilaku maladaptive anak dan pengukurannya. Perilaku maladaptive anak merupakan perilaku anak yang tidak mampu menyesuaikan diri atau beradaptasi dengan keadaan sekelilingnya secara wajar, dan tidak mampu beradaptasi sesuai dengan tahapan perkembangan usianya. Permasalahan-permasalahan yang ditimbulkan dari perilaku maladaptive anak dapat menghambat tercapainya perkembangan anak secara optimal. Memahami perilaku maladaptive anak sangat penting untuk meminimalisasi dampak dan tingkat keparahan perilaku. Tulisan ini merupakan reviu literatur. Hasil reviu dalam tulisan ini merupakan bahan rujukan untuk menambah pemahaman terkait konsep perilaku maladaptive anak dan pengukurannya. Perilaku maladaptive anak terbagi dua, yaitu: 1) perilaku maladaptive internalizing, digambarkan seperti ketergantungan, sikap acuh tak acuh, kesulitan makan dan tidur, cemas, perasaan penolakan, perubahan suasana hati, rendahnya kontak mata, kurangnya interaksi sosial; 2) perilaku maladaptive externalizing, dikarakteristikkan seperti perilaku impulsif, tantrum, ketidakpatuhan, tidak peka terhadap orang lain, agresif, keras kepala. Pengukuran untuk menguji perilaku maladaptive anak yang umum digunakan dalam penelitian, diantaranya: 1) Maladaptive Behavior Index-Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales (MBI-VABS, Sparrow, et al.); 2) Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ, Goodman); dan 3) Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL, Achenbach)

    Coping Strategies to Survive Online Learning Difficulties: Qualitative Survey Study of Bataknese and Javanese Students

    It is apparent that students’ perceptions of the online learning experience during the pandemic led to the development of coping abilities to deal with stress. This research aims to explore coping mechanisms that Batak and Javanese students in Medan City used to minimise stress related to online learning difficulties during the COVID 19 pandemic. A total of 671 students participated in the study by completing a self-reported survey online. This research is qualitative research with a thematic analysis approach. The findings were categorized into two main themes: 1) online learning difficulties (consisting of 3 subthemes: technical problems, task overload, emerging negative emotions); 2) overcoming online learning difficulties (consisting of 3 subthemes: patience, prayer, and parental support). This research implies that the coping strategies students use can help them survive adversity during the COVID-19 pandemic

    Gambaran Ketangguhan Ibu dalam Mengasuh Anak Autis

    Abstract: This study aimed to look at the profile picture of hardiness in mothers of children with autism in the city of Medan. A total of 58 mothers were included in this study. Sampling was done by purposive sampling. The method was used to descriptive quantita­tive method. Data were taken using a measuring instrument such as Hardiness scale (Dispositional Resilience Scale/DRS-15). Processing and analysis of statistical data was descriptive, meaning that findings such as demographic data, aspects of hardiness and other additional data will be analyzed in the form of a minimum score, maximum score, mean and standard deviation, in order to illustrate the hardiness profile comprehensively. The results showed that the picture of the strength of the mothers of children with autism in average level. Judging from the hardiness, found that aspects of the commitments had the highest mean score, followed by the control aspect and the aspect of the challenge.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran profil ketangguhan pada ibu yang memiliki anak autis di kota Medan. Sebanyak 58 ibu-ibu dilibatkan dalam penelitian ini. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Data diambil dengan menggunakan alat ukur berupa skala Ketangguhan (Dispositional Resilience Scale/DRS-15). Cara pengolahan dan analisa data statistik bersifat deskriptif, artinya temuan seperti data demografi, aspek ketangguhan dan data tambahan lainnya akan dianalisa berupa skor minimum, skor maksimum, mean dan standar deviasi, agar dapat menggambarkan profil ketangguhan secara komprehensif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gambaran ketangguhan pada ibu yang memiliki anak autis berada dalam kategori sedang. Ditinjau dari aspek ketangguhan yang dikemukakan oleh Maddi Kobasha (1980), ditemukan bahwa aspek komitmen memiliki nilai mean tertinggi, kemudian diikuti dengan aspek kontrol dan aspek tantangan. Implikasi penelitian ini sebagai data awal untuk melihat gambaran profil ketangguhan ibu dalam mengasuh anak autis di kota Medan.Kata kunci: anak autis; ibu; ketangguha

    Pentingnya peran koping religius sebagai benteng diri di tengah kesulitan selama pandemi menjadi tujuan artikel ini, serta dilengkapi dengan hasil riset berdasarkan jurnal-jurnal ilmiah terkini dan riset terbaru yang pernah diteliti tidak hanya di Indonesia namun juga penelitian-penelitan di negara lain terkait peran koping religius. Artikel ini merupakan kajian dari beberapa pustaka yang sudah dipublikasikan sebelumnya, sehingga jenis data yang digunakan penulis dalam artikel ini adalah data yang diperoleh dari studi literatur dengan mencari referensi teori yang relevan dengan kasus atau permasalahan yang ditemukan.     Management of Students' Self-Acceptance of Body Image: A Case in a Seventh Grade Junior High School Student

    This study sought to elucidate the phenomena that determine body images, such as discontent with body shape, the impact of dissatisfaction with body shape, and the impact of efforts to overcome body image dissatisfaction in college students. During the observation in the eighth grade of State Junior High School 6 Percut Sei Tuan, the researcher also saw some kids with low self-acceptance. The method employed is descriptive, and the research is qualitative. The Miles and Huberman model was utilized for data analysis; it is an interactive model that includes data reduction, data display, and generating conclusions. The findings revealed: (1) Low self-acceptance of body image among eighth pupils at State Junior High School 6 Percut Sei Tuan. Some students still believe their physical condition and body form are less desirable. It causes a sense of insecurity. Students' mistrust motivates them to improve their physical condition and body form. (2) The influence of acceptable body image on the conduct of eighth-grade students at State Junior High School 6 Percut Sei Tuan can disrupt student learning continuity. as if oblivious to his lesson. It is because these pupils lack the courage to express themselves in class. It, of course, significantly impacts the efficacy of student learning in the classroom. It has a significant impact on the efficacy of student learning. (3) The Counseling Guidance teacher attempts to cultivate self-acceptance in students' body image.
