    THE EFFECT OF USING PLEASE (PICK-LIST-EVALUATE-ACTIVATE-SUPPLY-END STRATEGY) ON STUDENTS ACHIEVEMENT IN WRITING DESCRIFTIVE TEXT AT SEVENT GRADE OF Mts NURUL HAKIM TEMBUNG

    The purpose of this study was to determine the significant effect of the PLEASE (Pick-List-Evaluate-Activate-Supply-End) Strategy on student achievement in writing descriftive text in class VII Mts Nurul Hakim Tembung. This research used quantitative research with experimental design. The implementation was in class VII Mts Nurul Hakim Tembung. The researcher took 64 students consisting of 32 students for the experimental class and 32 students for the control class. In collecting the data, the researcher used test in essay test.. The researcher used two tests, the pre-test was given before the treatment and the post-test was given after the treatment in the learning process. Then the researchers analyzed the data using statistical formulas and Microsoft Excel 2010 with a significance level of 0.05. After analyzing the data, the researcher found that the value of tobserved was higher than the ttable. This can be seen from the tobserved (4.473)> t table (1.6) at the significance level of 0.05 and degrees of freedom (df) 62.It means that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. It can be concluded that the PLEASE (Pick-List-Evaluate-Activate-Supply-End) strategy has significant effect on students’ writing achievement in descriftive text of seventh grade students at Mts Nurul Hakim Tembung. This is related to the results of observations which show that students are more interested and motivated in attending classes and enthusiastic during the teaching and learning process so that their descriptive writing achievement increases. Keyword: PLEASE starategy, Students’achievement , writing descriptive tex

    Nutrition education for primary school teachers is currently one of the government's focuses in the School Child Nutrition Programme in fulfilling the nutritional needs of children. This is considering the many cases of stunting or malnutrition in children which will have an impact on the health and intelligence of children later, if this continues continuously it will produce unqualified human resources, therefore it is necessary to increase the role of every aspect that is directly related to children including the role of teachers. To see the difference in knowledge pre and post nutrition education intervention in elementary school teachers. The study used a Mix Methods approach using Saquential Explatory Design through qualitative and quantitative analysis, in this study qualitative data collection was carried out with Focus Group Discussion (FGD) consisting of 12 informants, quantitative data samples used as many as 30 teachers to measure knowledge variables and tested using t-test to get pre and post intervention differences. There is a pre and post difference in the knowledge variable in the good category before the intervention with a value of 0 and after the intervention to 86.6% with a mean of 17.38 and as well as in the knowledge with the category less which before the intervention 100% to 13.4% with a mean value of 22.08%. And attitudes have an average value before 19.54% and after the intervention increased by 25.43%.There is a significant difference between pre and post intervention knowledge and attitudes in elementary school teachers related to nutrition education.   Keywords: Primary School Children, Nutrition, Teachers, Policy Implementation, Programm

    Model Blended Learning berbasis Wordwall meningkatkan Kemampuan Literasi Matematis dan Self-Efficacy

    The assessment that is currently being developed in the world of education is (KLM) or mathematical literacy ability and is measured from (SE) or self-efficacy of students. This study aims to determine whether students' abilities can increase with the model that has been implemented. The researcher used a quasi-experimental design with a "pretest-posttest control group design". All members were used as a population of 84 students from SMA Angkasa 1 Lanud Soewondo Medan with 56 tenth grade students as samples. two Classes were divided into 2 groups, namely experimental and control. The instruments or measuring instruments used are description tests and questionnaires. Samples are taken at random. From the overall results obtained by students in the experimental class in mathematical literacy skills, it was obtained 32% of students who reached a high level, 65% medium levels and 3% achieved low levels. While the results in the control class were 3% of students who achieved high levels, 40% of sedans and 57% of students who achieved low levels. In addition, because learning is accompanied by wordwall applications (learning games), students find learning more enjoyable and eager to repeat it.Keywords: Mathematical Literacy Skills, Self-Efficacy, Blended Learning, Wordwal

    Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMPN 5 Padangsidimpuan. Peneliti memilih tempat ini karena berdasarkan observasi pra penelitian siswa SMPN 5 Padangsidimpuan masih memiliki kemampuan koneksi matematis yang rendah. Siswa merasa sulit mengerjakan soal-soal yang berhubungan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari dan dengan materi pelajaran matematika yang lain secara mandiri. Siswa memerlukan bantuan orang lain ketika mengerjakan soal yang lebih sulit sehingga siswa dapat memahami informasi yang terdapat dalam sebuah masalah, siswa dapat membuatnya dalam model matematika kemudian menyelesaikannya dengan benar. Dengan model pembelajaran TGT dan STAD siswa dapat saling mengajari baik antara anggota kelompok maupun antara kelompok. Berdasarkan latar belakang di atas maka yang menjadi tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games and Tournaments (TGT) dan Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) pokok bahasan kubus dan balok kelas VIII SMPN 5 Padangsidimpuan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan eksprimen dan juga merupakan penelitian komparasi karena membandingkan dua model pembelajaran. Untuk melihat gambaran kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa dipergunakan analisa statistik deskriptif. Kemudian untuk melihat perbedaan antara model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT dan STAD dipergunakan uji-t. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 299 siswa kemudian yang menjadi sampel adalah kelas VIII-3 sebagai kelas eksprimen A yang berjumlah 22 orang dan diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran TGT kemudian kelas VIII-4 sebagai kelas eksprimen B yang berjumlah 26 orang dan diajarkan dengan STAD. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes berbentuk essay tes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran TGT dan STAD, dimana nilai rata-rata kelas eksprimen A dari 69,32 menjadi 83,55 dan kelas ekprimen B dari 70,11 menjadi 80,81. Dengan menggunakan uji-t diperoleh thitung = 1,144 < ttabel = 2,0147. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 diterima dan Ha ditolak, bunyi hipotesis yang diterima adalah tidak ada perbedaan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games and Tournaments (TGT) dan Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) pokok bahasan kubus dan balok kelas VIII SMPN 5 Padangsidimpuan

    ANALISIS STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK DALAM ‎PEMBELAJARAN DARING DI SD/MI

    Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai analisis strategi pembelajaran tematik ketika daring di SD/MI untuk menambahkan informasi khususnya untuk guru dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran agar mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan sumber literatur berupa dokumen, jurnal, dan tesis. Dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran tematik secara daring terdapat kendala berupa rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa, sarana dan prasana, kurang pengawasan orang tua ketika siswa belajar karena bekerja, gangguan sistem aplikasi dan jaringan yang tidak stabil. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut ialah pihak sekolah, masyarakat, guru dan orang tua harus saling bekerja sama,berkomunikasi dan saling membantu agar proses pembelajaran berjalan dengan efekti dan mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Strategi yang dapat dilakukan guru dalam proses pembelajaran tematik secara daring yaitu dengan 3 tahap, tahap perancangan atau perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap penilaian. Pada tahap perencanaan atau perancangan guru membuat strategi berupa menentukan dan merancang media atau alat yang akan digunakan dalam pembelajaran daring yang disesuikan pada kemampuan orang tua dan siswa dan guru membuat RPP terlebih dahulu,lalu kemudian pada tahap pelaksanaan yaitu guru membuat strategi berupa mengimplementasikan RPP yang sudah dirancang dengan mempertimbangkan waktu, metode, media,alat dan bahan yang sesuai dengan materi kemudian pada tahap ketiga yaitu tahap penilaian, guru membuat strategi penilaian yang disesuaikan pada kemampuan siswa ketika pembelajaran dalam ranah pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan siswa. Kata Kunci : Strategi,Pembelajaran, Tematik,Daring,SD/MI Abstract This study aims to describe the analysis of thematic learning strategies when online in SD/MI to add information, especially for teachers in carrying out the learning process in order to achieve educational goals. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with literature sources in the form of documents, journals, and theses. In carrying out the thematic learning process online there are obstacles in the form of low student motivation, facilities and infrastructure, lack of parental supervision when students study because of work, application system disturbances and unstable networks. Efforts that can be made to overcome these obstacles are that schools, communities, teachers and parents must work together, communicate and help each other so that the learning process runs effectively and achieves educational goals. Strategies that can be carried out by teachers in the thematic online learning process are with 3 stages, the planning stage, the implementation stage and the assessment stage. At the planning stage the teacher makes a strategy in the form of determining and designing the media or tools that will be used in online learning that is adjusted to the ability of parents and students and teachers to make RPP first, then at the implementation stage, the teacher makes a strategy in the form of implementing the RPP that has been designed with considering the time, methods, media, tools and materials that are in accordance with the material then in the third stage, namely the assessment stage, the teacher makes an assessment strategy that is tailored to students' abilities when learning in the realm of student knowledge, attitudes and skills Keywords: Strategy, Learning, Thematic, Daring, SD/M

    Application of Apriori Algorithm in Data Mining to Analyze Malnutrition (Case Study: Secanggang Village)

    Malnutrition is a serious public health issue affecting quality of life in many rural areas. Comprehensive, evidence-based approaches are needed to identify dietary patterns associated with this condition. In this study, we applied the Apriori algorithm for data mining to analyze the relationship between dietary patterns and malnutrition prevalence in Secanggang Village. Using Apriori, we discovered significant associative patterns between foods and malnutrition. Our analysis showed several dietary patterns with sufficiently high support and confidence, indicating potentially strong associations with malnutrition. These patterns may include combinations of less diverse or nutritious foods, which could be risk factors for malnutrition. Our findings provide valuable insights for authorities and health institutions to formulate more effective intervention programs in tackling malnutrition in Secanggang Village. By understanding the relationship between dietary patterns and malnutrition, prevention and treatment efforts can be better targeted to positively impact community health and welfare. Further research and cross-sectoral collaboration are still needed to comprehensively address the complex challenges of malnutrition.

    Pengaruh Pemberian Terapi Musik Klasik Terhadap Penurunan Intensitas Nyeri Pada Pasien Post Operasi Fraktur Di RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang

    ABSTRAK Tingginya angka fraktur yang terjadi merupakan hasil dari meningkatnya angka kecelakaan. Pembedahan ortopedi akan menimbulkan rasa nyeri pasca operasi pada tingkat sedang sampai berat. Apabila tidak diatasi segera maka akan berdampak pada memanjangnya waktu pemulihan dan terhambatnya ambulasi dini. Terapi musik klasik menjadi upaya penatalaksanaan nonfarmakologis terhadap nyeri yang tidak memiliki risiko dan murah, serta mudah dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh terapi musik klasik terhadap intensitas nyeri pada pasien post operasi fraktur. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian quasy-experiment dengan pendekatan pre and posttest with control group. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah consecutive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 20 orang, 10 orang kelompok intervensi dan 10 orang kelompok kontrol. Penelitian dilakukan selama 22 hari dari tanggal 8 – 29 Agustus 2016. Nyeri pada pasien post operasi fraktur diukur secara langsung dengan Numeric Rating Scale. Analisa data dilakukan dengan uji Wilcoxon dan Mann Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara skala nyeri antara kelompok kontrol dan kelompok intervensi setelah diberikan terapi musik klasik dengan nilai p value 0,003 (p<0,05). Rekomendasi kepada perawat agar menjadikan terapi musik klasik sebagai intervensi yang diberikan kepada pasien post operasi fraktur untuk mengurangi nyeri pada pasien post operasi fraktur.
