    Get PDF
The article presents a study results on the dynamics of lipid spectrum under the influence of combination regimens of lipid-lowering therapy (statin + fibrate and a statin + ω-3 PUFA). The data shown a significant lipid-lowering effect of combinated therapy by fibrate with a statin on all the atherogenic fractions. Integrated application of statin with ω-3 PUFA allowed not only to reduce the atherogenic lipid fractions, but also achieve a higher level of HDL. The results indicate a greater effectiveness of the medication complex as compared with statin monotherapy, as well as the need for a differentiated approach to lipid-corrective therapy based on blood lipid fractions baseline

The article is devoted to the redox homeostasis in 101 patients with stable angina FC IIII. Comparative effectiveness analysis was conducted for traditional medical complex for the complex that included of cytoprotector Mexicor, and its combination with magnetic therapy. Mexicor adding to standard therapy results in a significant reduction of radical processes and increased of antioxidant protection. Mexicor sharing with magnetotherapy is even more pronounced antioxidant effect. This effect allows to get the impaired pro-and antioxidant system in balance

Textual Manifestation of the Phraseological Scheme “N1-6 + so + N1-6” in Publicistic and Artistic Discourses

The article is devoted to identifying the functional features of the phrase scheme “N1-6 + so + N1-6” in the texts of the journalistic and artistic styles of the Russian language. Structural, semantic and pragmatic characteristics of linguistic units of this structural type are considered. Various approaches to the description of phraseological schemes of the Russian language are commented, but the authors propose to consider the combination of structural-semantic and functional-communicative approaches as the main one for this study. It is noted that in the Russian language the studied phraseological scheme is presented in two homonymous variants, which have the meaning of the highest degree of manifestation of the feature and the meaning of consent / acceptance. Arguments for highlighting these options, which are confirmed by the difference in semantics, component composition and grammatical variability of each phraseological scheme, are given. The authors pay special attention to identifying the contextual meanings of this syntactic structure. Such types of meaning of consent and acceptance are considered, such as forced / uncontrolled, indifferent consent / acceptance, conscious / controlled, etc. The relevance of the study is due to the emergence of new facts of phraseologization of syntactic units in speech and the application of complex analysis to the phraseological units under consideration. The material was the texts of the National Corpus of the Russian language, as well as the authors’ card index

Six 2, 2, 5-trialkyl-5-α-alkoxyethyl-1, 3-dioxanes have been synthesized for the first time by the condensation of 2-alkyl-2-α-alkoxyethyl-1, 3-propane diols with ketones, and it has been shown by a study of their PMR spectra that they exist in the unsymmetrical boat conformation. The PMR spectra of a number of previously-synthesized 2-alkyl(aryl)-5-alkyl-5-α-alkoxyethyl-1, 3-dioxanes have been considered and it has been shown that from an analysis of the spectra it is possible to estimate the contents of geometrical isomers in a mixture. The stereochemistry of these compounds has been discussed. © 1971 Consultants Bureau

The Petrophytic Steppes of the Urals: Diversity and Ecological Drivers

    Get PDF
The diversity and main compositional patterns of the petrophytic steppes of the Urals were studied. Two questions were considered in detail: (i) How rich is the phytocoenotic diversity of the petrophytic steppes? and (ii) What kind of ecological drivers determine its differentiation? A dataset of 1,025 relevés was compiled, representing communities of different climatic and geological conditions. Using formalized classification (TWINSPAN algorithm), eight vegetation types on the petrophytic steppes were defined. DCA-ordination was used to determine the main ecological drivers (both climatic and edaphic) of plant communities’ diversity. Among them are mean annual temperature and precipitation, aridity, rockiness and local habitat moisture. The interaction of different ecological and geographical factors leads to high levels of floristic and coenotic diversity of vegetation in dry rocky habitats. Keywords: petrophytic steppes, ecological drivers, ordination, Southern Ural

Effects of soil early-spring temperature on the morphometric parameters of mitochondria in Galanthus nivalis L. leaves

    Get PDF
In the natural conditions early-spring period development of Galanthus nivalis L., the leaves germination from bulbs was carried out in the soil surface layer, mainly, covered with snow, so the leaves were exposed to low soil temperatures. It was found, that at the leaf germination stage, when exposed to minus soil temperature, the mitochondria were predominantly elongated, that is, functionally active. Under the influence of positive temperature, the mitochondria form changed to a round one, which indicates their transition to low functional activity. A similar tendency was manifested even during the budding stage, in particular, when the soil temperature was lowered to an average of –3.47 °C, the mitochondria changed their form to an elongated one, that is, they passed into an active functional state. Wherein, the temperature of the leaves was higher by 3.84 °C compared to the soil. At the stages of germination and budding of G. nivalis under natural conditions, a direct correlation was found between the soil surface layer temperature and the leaves temperature, and at the flowering stage this relation was reverse. During the flowering stage, despite the influence of predominantly positive soil temperatures, leaves growth was significantly slowed, and their temperature was only slightly higher by 0.38 °C compared to the soil. At the same time, the mitochondria changed their shape to a round one. Thus, the increase in their long axis at different stages in spring development, are aimed at adapting to influence low temperatures of the soil surface layer

The spread of SARS-CoV-2 infection has increased the risk of mental health problems, including post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSD), and healthcare workers (HCWs) are at greater risk than other occupational groups. This observational cross-sectional study aimed to explore the symptoms of depression, anxiety, and PTSD among dental HCWs in Russia during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. The survey was carried out among 128 dental HCWs from three dental clinics of Ekaterinburg, Russia. The mean age of the sample was 38.6 years. Depression, anxiety, and stress were assessed using the Depression Anxiety and Stress Scale-21 (DASS-21); PTSD was assessed using the PTSD Symptom Scale-Self-Report (PSS-SR); subjective distress was assessed using the Impact of Event Scale-Revised (IES-R). The results indicated that 20.3-24.2% HCWs had mild to extremely severe symptoms of psychological distress, and 7.1-29.7% had clinical symptoms of PTSD. No differences between females and males were revealed. HCWs working directly with patients had significantly higher levels of PTSD symptoms and the risk of PTSD development compared to those working indirectly, whereas older HCWs had significantly higher levels of both psychological distress and PTSD symptoms compared to younger HCWs. Thus, dental HCWs are at high risk for psychological distress and PTSD symptoms during the COVID-19 pandemic. © 2021 by the authors. LABOR PRODUCTIVITY AS A PRODUCTION EFFICIENCY FACTOR

    Get PDF
Of the goal of this investigation is to study the efficiency factor and labor productivity. Based on own authors' collections and revised collections in herbaria (SVER, UFU, LE, MW, NNSU), checklist of the genus Alchemilla for Sverdlovsk Region (Middle Urals) was compiled. Each species in the checklist was followed by a nomenclature reference, information on type, habitats, distribution in the region by its botanical-geographical areas. 62 species of Alchemilla were registered in the region. Seven species (A. cheirochlora, A. decalvans, A. filicaulis, A. glabricaulis, A. iremelica, A. pseudocalycina, A. tichomirovii) were revealed in the region flora for the first time. For three species (A. argutiserrata, A. sarmatica, A. submamillata) erroneously noted for this flora, the presence in the region was confirmed. A. filicaulis and A. exsculpta are new for Asian part of Russia. The presence of a true A. glabricaulis (as adventive species) was confirmed in the Asian part of Russia. Noted for trans-Urals endemic species A. gorodkovii had been placed to synonyms of east-european A. semilunaris and was listed under corresponding name. Among them, 57 species are found in the mountainous part of the region, 27 species of Alchemilla grow in the cis-Urals area, and 12 species in the eastern plain part of the region. Most of the Alchemilla-species complex of Sverdlovsk Region are plain-mountainous and plain species - 27 and 16 species respectively. Alchemillaspecies complex of the region includes 14 East European species, and 7 species associated with West European mountain systems, 27 species associated with Central Asian mountain systems (22 species of continuous and 5 of disjunctive ranges). As for soil moisture factor, mesophytes (17 species) prevail. Most of the species are the components of meadow (29 species), marginal-meadow (10 species) and meadow-steppe (5) communities. 18 species, distributed in the highlands of the Northern Urals, were attributed to the group of alpine-meadow species. An original key has been made to identify 62 Alchemilla-species, occurring in Sverdlovsk Region. © 2019 Altai State University. All rights reserved
