    Penelitian ini merupakan studi empiris yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh langsung maupun tidak langsung lingkungan kerja, kepemimpinan dan sistem informasi media center terhadap kinerja dan implikasinya pada kinerja Sekretariat Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Aceh.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada kantor Sekretariat Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Aceh dengan jumlah populasi pegawai sebanyak 179 orang. Karena ukuran populasi tersebut mencukupi dan terjangkau untuk diteliti maka sampel penelitian adalah seluruh populasi pegawai Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan membagikan lembar pertanyaan (kuesioner) terbuka kepada pegawai sampel. Data primer dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik dan analisis SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) dengan bantuan program AMOS 22.Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa lingkungan kerja, kepemimpinan dan sistem informasi media center berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Sekretariat Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Aceh. Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja Sekretariat Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Aceh. Sementara kepemimpinan dan sistem informasi media center berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja Sekretariat Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Aceh.     Effectual forms of chicken eggshell to improve soil pH and exchangeable bases (K, Ca and Mg) of peat soil / Muhammad Nazif Hussin

    Low soil pH is one of the synonym characteristics of peat soils which restricted the nutrient availability in the soils. Even though the liming application using either agriculture lime, burned lime or hydrated lime is quite common in Malaysia, there is a potential of chicken eggshell to become a substitution for these types of lime, especially in a small scale agricultural area. This study intends to determine the exchangeable bases concentration of chicken eggshell in powder, liquid and crumb forms as well as to evaluate the effects on soil pH. The results were compared to the calcium carbonate (CaCOɜ) lime to evaluate the effectiveness of the chicken eggshells. From this study, the findings showed that the chicken eggshell in powdered form has significant effects in improving peat soil pH and calcium (Ca) concentration compared to other treatments. It is suggested that the chicken eggshell in powdered forms may have a potential as a substitution of lime with lower cost

    Maintainability is an inherent characteristic of system or product design. It pertains to the ease, accuracy, safety, and economy in the performance of maintenance actions. A system should be designed such that it can be maintained without large investments of time, at the least cost, with a minimum impact on the environment, and with a minimum expenditure of resources. One goal is to maintain a system effectively and efficiently in its intended environment, without adversely affecting the mission of that system. Maintainability is the ability of an item to be maintained, whereas maintenance constitutes a series of actions necessary to restore or retain an item in an effective operational state. Maintainability is a design parameter. Maintenance is required as a consequence of design. Air conditioning system is often operated and maintained inefficiently due to the knowledge gap between design guidelines and maintenance practices aided with fault detection techniques.     ABSTRAK Untuk menilai kinerja, mengukur tingkat kesehatan serta peringkat bank telah digunakan suatu alat analisis CAMEL. Dengan asumsi bahwa bank yang memiliki kinerja baik adalah bank yang sehat, maka unsur-unsur dalam alat analisis CAMEL perlu di uji pengaruhnya terhadap kemampuannya dalam memprediksi probabilitas kondisi keuangan bermasalah sebuah bank. Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh rasio keuangan Net Profit Margin, Return on asset, Biaya operasional berbanding pendapatan operasional, LDR, CAR, dan Return on asset terhadap probabilitas kondisi keuangan bermasalah pada Bank Perkreditan Rakyat untuk periode 4 tahun yaitu kurun waktu tahun 2012 sampai 2015. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 148 sample BPR yang berada diwilayah kerja Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Data yang digunakan adalah laporan keuangan BPR yang sudah terpublikasi di situs OJK sebagai regulator dan diambil selama 4 tahun. Proses analisis dilakukan dengan menguji hubungan variabel rasio keuangan CAMEL sebagai variabel bebas terhadap prediksi kondisi bermasalah BPR sebagai variabel terikat menggunakan analisis regresi data panel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Net profit margin, return on asset dan Bopo berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap probabilitas kondisi keuangan bermasalah pada BPR, sedangkan dua factor lainnya yaitu CAR dan ROE berpengaruh negative dan signifikan. Sedangkan satu variabel tidak berpengaruh sama sekali yaitu loan to deposit rasio. Kata kunci : CAMEL, probabilitas kondisi keuangan bermasalah, kinerja BPR ABSTRACT To assess the performance, measure the health rating and bank rating has been used a CAMEL analysis tool. Assuming that a well-performing bank is a sound bank, elements in the CAMEL analysis tool need to be tested for its impact on its ability to predict the probability of a bank's troubled financial condition. This study examines the influence of financial ratios of Net Profit Margin, Return on Assets, Operational Costs compared to Operational Income, LDR, CAR, and Return on Assets to the Probability of NPLs at Rural Bank for the 4-year period from 2012 to 2015. Research this is done to 148 samples of BPR located in the working area of West Sumatra Province. The data used are published BPR financial statements at OJK site as regulator and taken for 4 years. The analysis process is done by testing the correlation of CAMEL financial ratio variable as independent variable to prediction of problem condition of BPR as dependent variable using regression analysis of panel data. The results of this study indicate that Net profit margin, return on assets and Bopo have positive and significant effect on the probability of troubled financial condition in BPR, while the other two factors are CAR and ROE have negative and significant effect.     PENGATURAN SUHU PEMBUATAN GARAM MENGGUNAKAN DS18B20 SERTA MONITORING MENGGUNAKAN HMI PADA PROSES PEMBUATAN GARAM BERBASIS PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER (PLC)

    ABSTRAK Garam merupakan salah satu kebutuhan pelengkap dari kebutuhan pangan dan merupakan sumber elektrolit bagi tubuh manusia. Konsumsi masyarakat dan kebutuhan pasar akan garam terus meningkat setiap tahunnya. Hal ini tentunya harus diimbangi dengan persediaan yang cukup untuk memenuhi ketersediaan garam yang dibutuhkan masyarakat. Proses produksi garam yang dilakukan petani garam masih menggunakan cara konvensional yaitu dengan cara menguapkan air laut menggunakan sinar matahari, untuk itu diperlukan suatu alat yang dapat membuat garam secara modern tanpa menggunakan sinar matahari dan dengan waktu yang relatif singkat. Proses pembuatan garam memerlukan suhu yang sesuai agar air laut dapat menguap, maka butuh pemanas (heater) yang digunakan sebagai pengganti sinar matahari. Sistem pemanasan konvensional yang selama ini masih digunakan oleh petani garam, masih dipengaruhi oleh faktor cuaca, sehingga petani membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama untuk melakukan penguapan air laut. Hal ini diperlukan adanya pengaturan suhu pada proses pembuatan garam. Sistem pengaturan suhu pada alat pembuat garam berbasis PLC ini menggunakan DS18B20 sebagai pembaca suhu dan motor power window untuk menggerakan keran pada tangki pemanasan. Pengaturan pemanas (heater) dan motor power window dapat dilakukan pada Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) Schneider. Suhu yang terukur dapat dilihat pada tampilan Human Machine Interface (HMI) yang digunakan sebagai sistem monitoring dengan menggunakan software Movicon 11.5 . Beda suhu yang terukur adalah 1 ºC jika dibandingkan dengan termometer. Setting waktu pemanasan air laut kurang lebih 3 jam sampai air laut tersebut menguap. Alat pembuat garam berbasis PLC dapat menjadi solusi bagi petani garam dalam proses pembuatan garam. Kata kunci: DS18B20, Garam, Motor Power Window, PLC Schneider, Suhu. ABSTRACT Salt is one of the complementary needs of food needs and is a source of electrolytes for the human body. Public consumption and market needs for salt continue to increase every year. This of course must be balanced with sufficient supplies to meet the availability of salt needed by the community. The salt production process carried out by salt farmers still uses conventional methods, namely by evaporating seawater using sunlight, for that we need a device that can make salt in a modern way without using sunlight and with a relatively short time. The process of making salt requires an appropriate temperature so that sea water can evaporate, then it needs a heater (heater) which is used instead of sunlight. The conventional heating system that is still used by salt farmers is still influenced by weather factors, so farmers need a long time to evaporate sea water. This requires temperature regulation in the process of making salt. The temperature regulation system on this PLC-based salt maker uses DS18B20 as a temperature reader and a power window motor to move the tap on the heating tank. The heater (heater) and motor power window settings can be made on the Schneider Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). The measured temperature can be seen on the Human Machine Interface (HMI) display that is used as a monitoring system using Movicon 11.5 software. The measured temperature difference is 1 ºC when compared to a thermometer. Sea water heating time setting is approximately 3 hours until the sea water evaporates.     APRESIASI REMAJA TANJUNG PATI KECAMATAN HARAU KABUPATEN LIMAPULUH KOTA SUMATERA BARAT TERHADAP PROGRAM ACARA MUSIK TRADISIONAL SALUANG PADA STASIUN RADIO HARAU 100,6 FM

    Radio Harau 100,6 Fm mempunyai program yang menyiarkan musik tradisional saluang. Program ini merupakan program mingguan yang disiarkan dua kali dalam sebula, setiap hari rabu dengan durasi selama 240 menit, selain musik saluang klasik program ini juga menyiarkan musik saluang remix. Penilian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apresiasi remaja Tanjung Pati Kecamatan Harau Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota Sumatera Barat terhadap program acara musik tradisional saluang pada stasiun Radio Harau 100,6 fm. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif persentase yaitu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menjelaskan fenomena yang ada dengan menggunakan angka-angka. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini dengan cara observasi, dokumentasi dan angket. Subjek penelitian ini adalah remaja akhir usia 17-21 tahun yang tinggal di Tanjung Kecamatan Harau yang berjumlah 143 orang, selanjutnya sampel penelitian akan dihitung dengan menggunakan rumus slovin sehingga diperoleh hasil sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 105 orang. Setelah data terkumpul selanjutnya akan dilakukan uji validitas, data dikatan valid jika nilai dari total skor indikator lebih besar dari 0,05 dan uji reabilitas dengan menggunakan teknik Alpha Cronbach, data dikatakan terpercaya jika nilai Alpa atau keandalan sebesar 0,6 atau lebih. Persentase hasil penelitian tentang apresiasi remaja Tanjung Pati Kecamatan Harau Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota Sumatera Barat terhadap program acara musik tradisional saluang pada stasiun Radio Harau 100,6 fm adalah 67,87 % termasuk kedalam kriteria cukup baik.     Synthesis, spectroscopic characterization, biological screening and POM analysis of potentially bioactive copper(II) carboxylate complexes

    ABSTRACT. Here we are reporting the synthesis, characterization of four novel copper(II) complexes with carboxylate ligand and their evaluation for biological applications. The complexes have general formulas C22H18CuN4O12, C32H26CuN6O12, C27H23CuN5O12 and C34H26CuN6O12. The synthesized complexes were characterized by FT-IR and elemental analyses carried out through EDX. The deprotonation of the carboxylate ligand, 4-(2-methoxy-5-nitrophenylamino)-4-oxobut-2-enoic acid, was observed in FT-IR spectrum, indicating that complexation happens via the carboxylate moiety's oxygen. In complexes 1 and 3, the value of Δν value is in between 120-180 cm-1 showing the bridging mode of the carboxylate moiety while in complexes 2 and 4, its value is greater than 180 cm-1 indicating the monodentate binding mode. The findings of antimicrobial activity revealed that the complexes have adequate antibacterial and antifungal properties. The anti-promastigote analysis results showed that the complexes 1 and 4 have significant activity as compared to the standard drug. The binding mode of complexes with DNA was confirmed by UV-Visible spectroscopy and viscosity measurements and the results showed that complexes interact with DNA through intercalative mode. A new and efficient strategy was applied through POM (Petra, Osiris and Molinspiration) analyses for determining the toxicity assessment, bio-availability and drug score of the synthesized complexes.     Tanaman selada (Lactuca sativa L.) merupakan tanaman sayuran daun yang dapat dibudidayakan dengan sistem hidroponik untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sayur pada tingkat rumah tangga. Pemberian jenis dan dosis larutan nutrisi yang tepat akan menghasilkan pertumbuhan dan hasil produksi tanaman yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik cair (POC) bioslurry dan larutan nutrisi komersil AB mix dengan dosis yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman selada merah (var. Red Rapid) dan selada hijau (var. Grand Rapids) yang dibudidayakan dengan sistem hidroponik apung. Parameter penelitian adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, kadar klorofil total, kadar aktivitas nitrat reduktase (ANR), dan bobot segar tajuk tanaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian dosis larutan nutrisi 52,5 mL AB mix + 17,5 mL bioslurry menghasilkan rata-rata pertumbuhan dan hasil produksi tanaman yang tertinggi pada kedua kultivar tanaman selada, diikuti oleh pemberian dosis larutan nutrisi 35 mL AB mix + 17,5 mL bioslurry. Pemberian dosis larutan nutrisi 70 mL bioslurry menghasilkan rata-rata pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman terendah pada kedua kultivar tanaman selada. Kata Kunci: AB mix, bioslurry,. hidroponik, nutrisi, selad

    Antioxidant and Cytotoxic Activities and Phytochemical Analysis of Euphorbia wallichii Root Extract and its Fractions

    Abstract Euphorbia wallichii a perennial herb growing mainly in Himalayas has been widely used in folk medicines for its medicinal properties. In the present study, the crude methanolic root extract (CME) and its fractions; n-Hexane Fraction (NHF), n-Butanol Fraction (NBF), Chloroform Fraction (CHF), Ethyl acetate Fraction (EAF) and Aqueous Fraction (AQF) of this plant specie were investigated for antioxidant and cytotoxic activities and phytochemical analysis. Antioxidant activity was determined by using 2,2-diphenyl-1-picryl-hydrazyl free radical (DPPH) and DNA protection assay performed on pBR322 plasmid DNA. In both these assays, promising results were obtained for CME as well as other fractions. The IC 50 values for DPPH assay were in a range of 7.89 to 63.35 µg/ml in which EAF showed the best antioxidant potential and almost all the tested samples showed certain level of DNA protection. The cytotoxic activity was assessed by using Sulforhodamine B (SRB) assay on human cell lines; H157 (Lung Carcinoma) and HT144 (Malignant Melanoma). The IC 50 values of the tested samples ranged from 0.18 to 1.4 mg/mL against H157 cell line whereas against HT144 cell line the IC 50 values ranged from 0.46 to 17.88 mg/mL with NBF fraction showing maximum potential for both. Furthermore, the phytochemical analysis of CME and its fractions showed the presences of flavonoids, saponins, tannins, terpenoides and cardiac glycosides with varying concentrations
