    Exploring sustainable experiences in tourism.

    Get PDF
This study explores the vaguely defined concept of sustainableexperiences. Specifically, it questions how perceived experiencevalue at tourism destinations can be enhanced through sustainableexperience dimensions. Although experiences and sustainabletourism are intrinsically interlinked, knowledge of sustainableexperiences and how they can be included in experience design toenhance perceived value is limited. Within a lake context, localstakeholders, researchers and students were invited to activelyidentify and co-design sustainable experience dimensions using, among others, interviews with residents and tourists. Ourfindingssuggest four sustainable experience dimensions: interaction withthe natural environment; interaction with the cultural environment;insights and views; and lake-based activities. The study advocatesfor future research and management to better incorporatesustainable experience dimensions to holistically enhance tourists’perceived experience value and destination sustainability.publishedVersio

Irrational use of antibiotics can cause an increase in morbidity and mortality, while also causing resistance to antibiotics. Evaluate the use of antibiotics aimed at reducing the use of antibiotics in ARI Non-Pneumonia as well as supporting government programs that the use of antibiotics for ARI non-pneumonia is no more than 20%. This research is descriptive in nature with a cross-sectional design and retrospective data collection in the January-September 2019 period. The data used are the use of antibiotics in Non-pneumonia ARI in the Sampang Regency. Evaluation of the use of this antibiotic using the ATC / DDD, PDD, PDD and DDD Comparison Ratio as well as 90% DU. There are 7 types of antibiotics used for Non-Pneumonia ISPA and 2 types of antibiotics included in DU90% are amoxicillin 500 mg by 44.63% and ciprofloxacin 500 mg by 44.58%. Quantitative data analysis using ATC / DDD shows that the most widely used antibiotic is amoxicillin 500 mg of 742.58 DDD / 1000 patient-days. Inappropriate use of antibiotics can increase the incidence of resistance. A policy is needed to control the use of antibiotics in Puskesmas to reduce antibiotic resistance and its side effects

Advanced Nanobiomaterials: Vaccines, Diagnosis and Treatment of Infectious Diseases

The use of nanoparticles has contributed to many advances due to their important properties such as, size, shape or biocompatibility. The use of nanotechnology in medicine has great potential, especially in medical microbiology. Promising data show the possibility of shaping immune responses and fighting severe infections using synthetic materials. Different studies have suggested that the addition of synthetic nanoparticles in vaccines and immunotherapy will have a great impact on public health. On the other hand, antibiotic resistance is one of the major concerns worldwide; a recent report of the World Health Organization (WHO) states that antibiotic resistance could cause 300 million deaths by 2050. Nanomedicine offers an innovative tool for combating the high rates of resistance that we are fighting nowadays, by the development of both alternative therapeutic and prophylaxis approaches and also novel diagnosis methods. Early detection of infectious diseases is the key to a successful treatment and the new developed applications based on nanotechnology offer an increased sensibility and efficiency of the diagnosis. The aim of this review is to reveal and discuss the main advances made on the science of nanomaterials for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases. Highlighting innovative approaches utilized to: (i) increasing the efficiency of vaccines; (ii) obtaining shuttle systems that require lower antibiotic concentrations; (iii) developing coating devices that inhibit microbial colonization and biofilm formationThis work has benefited by the financial support of a grant of the Romanian National Authority for Scientific Research and Innovation, CNCS–UEFISCDI, project number PN-II-RU-TE-2014-4-2269S

Pembuatan Tablet Bukal Metronidazol Mukoadhesif Menggunakan Carbopol 940 30% Secara Granulasi Kering
