Sistema para o transporte público urbano baseado no conceito de smart city

Paralelo a isso, também cresce o desafio de manter os cidadãos dessas cidades satisfeitos com os serviços públicos. Um dos serviços que mais sofrem com o aumento populacional das cidades é o transporte público. Parte considerável da população nas grandes cidades depende do transporte público para trabalhar, fazendo com que este seja um dos serviços mais críticos. Para resolver este problema, a qualidade do serviço deve ser melhorada ao ponto de as pessoas ficarem satisfeitas ao utilizá-lo. Neste contexto, o conceito de uma Smart City visa promover satisfação e bem-estar às pessoas. Utilizando o paradigma da Internet das Coisas, a função de uma Smart City reside na entrega de serviços públicos mais inteligentes para seus cidadãos. Um dos componentes de uma Smart City é o Smart Mobility, que foca na satisfação da pessoa com o transporte público da cidade. Baseado nesses conceitos foi desenvolvido neste trabalho um protótipo de um sistema que utiliza sensores sem fio disponíveis em paradas de ônibus e no próprio ônibus para fazer o cálculo de tempo entre paradas, proporcionando aos usuários uma estimativa em tempo real entre uma parada inicial e uma parada final. Os valores dos tempos calculados ficam disponíveis para outros usuários em tempo real, possibilitando a obtenção de uma média de determinada rota. Além disso, os sensores foram utilizados para detectar a presença do usuário e enviar notificações sobre informações de uma determinada parada e horários das linhas de ônibus. Pode-se concluir que os resultados obtidos com este trabalho foram adequados, tanto no cálculo dos tempos médios quando nas notificações aos usuários sobre paradas, horários e rotas

Usos do espaço : identidade cultural e noção de pertencimento em Taguatinga (DF)

Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (graduação)—Universidade de Brasília, Centro de Excelência em Turismo, 2019.O estudo dos usos de espaços culturais está relacionado com o significado presente da formação do lugar, o valor atribuído a bens culturais e os modos de fazer provenientes de uma comunidade. A tradição e a memória coletiva carregam símbolos que diferenciam uma cultura em detrimento de outra, caracterizando o patrimônio material e imaterial representado nesta dinâmica. O objeto desta monografia é a investigação da Região Administrativa (RA) n.º III, Taguatinga, no Distrito Federal, e sua autonomia cultural em relação à capital federal Brasília. A percepção detalhada dos principais espaços culturais urbanos existentes em Taguatinga busca compreender e conciliar as esferas socioambientais do cotidiano, a experiência da cultura popular e as facetas de identidade e pertencimento da comunidade, de modo a fomentar o turismo cultural na região a partir da valorização do lugar cultural e das dimensões da sustentabilidade.The study of uses of cultural spaces is related to the meaning on place formation, the attributed value to cultural property and the ways of doing from a community. The tradition and the collective memory carry symbols that differentiate one culture over another, characterizing the material and immaterial heritage represented in this dynamic. The object of this monograph is the investigation of the administrative region n.º III, Taguatinga, Federal District, and it’s cultural autonomy in relation to the federal capital Brasília. The detailed perception of the main existing urban cultural spaces in Taguatinga seeks to understand and reconcile the social and environmental spheres of daily life, the experience of popular culture and the facets of community identity and belonging, so as to foster cultural tourism in the region from the appreciation of the cultural place and the dimensions of sustainability

Distribución real y potencial del género hiperparasitoide Mesochorus Gravenhorst (Ichneumonidae: Mesochorinae) en Brasil

Mesochorus species are hyperparasitoids capable of nullifying biological control agents. This study is the first to map and predict the distribution of this genus in Brazil. Species distribution modeling was used to estimate the potential distribution of Mesochorus. We obtained 72 occurrence records of 49 Mesochorus species, being 30 endemics. According to our prediction model, this genus can be distributed in all Brazilian biomes, with higher suitability of occurrence in the Atlantic Forest and lower in the Caatinga and Pampa.Las especies de Mesochorus son hiperparasitoides capaces de anular los agentes de control biológico. Este estudio es el primero en mapear y predecir la distribución de este género en Brasil. Se utilizó un modelo de distribución de especies para estimar la distribución potencial de Mesochorus. Obtuvimos 72 registros de ocurrencia de 49 especies de Mesochorus, siendo 30 endémicas. De acuerdo con nuestro modelo de predicción, este género se puede distribuir en todos los biomas brasileños, con una mayor idoneidad de ocurrencia en el Bosque Atlántico y menor en la Caatinga y Pampa

PONCIÁ VICÊNCIO E A LITERATURA NA EDUCAÇÃO BÁSICA REVIVIFICANDO RAÍZES AFRICANAS

Neste artigo, procura-se, a partir da obra Ponciá Vicêncio, de Conceição Evaristo, discutir questões relativas à inclusão da temática "História e Cultura Afro-Brasileira" no âmbito da educação básica, tal como preconiza a Lei nº 10.639/03. Para tanto, no contexto específico de uma escola pública de Jataí, Goiás, buscou-se observar os impactos do processo de aprendizado e tomada de consciência cultural por intermédio da literatura negra, tal qual a obra de Conceição Evaristo. A metodologia contemplou a realização de um estudo de caso, que inclui o trabalho de campo para coleta de dados, nos moldes de uma pesquisa-ação, em que dois grupos de alunos tiveram os resultados comparados. O primeiro deles, composto por alunos que tiveram contato com a obra Ponciá Vicêncio e/ou que frequentavam projetos específicos da escola para o cumprimento da lei 10.639/03, demonstrou maior conscientização e interesse pela temática “História e Cultura Afro-Brasileira" do que os alunos do segundo grupo, que não tiveram contato com obra de Conceição Evaristo e tampouco participavam dos projetos. Ademais, uma proposta de análise da obra Ponciá Vicêncio, a partir de seus personagens e que foi utilizada durante a pesquisa-ação, é oferecida como subsídio para sequências didáticas na educação básica

Steps to build a DIY low-cost fixed-wing drone for biodiversity conservation

Despite the proved usefulness of drones in biodiversity studies, acquisition costs and difficulties in operating, maintaining and repairing these systems constrain their integration in conservation projects, particularly for low-income countries. Here we present the steps necessary to build a low-cost fixed-wing drone for environmental applications in large areas, along with instructions to increase the reliability of the system and testing its performance. Inspired by DIY (Do It Yourself) and open source models, this work prioritizes simplicity and accounts for cost-benefit for the researcher. The DIY fixed-wing drone developed has electric propulsion, can perform pre-programmed flight, can carry up to 500 g payload capacity with 65 minutes flight duration and flies at a maximum distance of 20 km. It is equipped with a RGB (Red, Green and Blue) sensor capable of obtaining 2.8 cm per pixel Ground Sample Distance (GSD) resolution at a constant altitude of 100 m above ground level (AGL). The total cost was $995 which is substantially less than the average value of similar commercial drones used in biodiversity studies. We performed 12 flight tests in auto mode using the developed model in protected areas in Brazil, obtaining RGB images that allowed us to identify deforestation spots smaller than 5 m2 and medium-sized animals. Building DIY drones requires some technical knowledge and demands more time than buying a commercial ready-to-fly system, but as proved here, it can be less expensive, which is often crucial in conservation project

Contributions of entrepreneurial orientation in the use of agile methods in project management

Purpose – This paper aims to analyze the degree of contribution of the entrepreneurial orientation (EO) oforganizations in the use of agile methods (AM) in project management.Design/methodology/approach – A quantitative approach with the application of a survey withproject professionals resulted in 206 valid answers. The data were analyzed using structural equationmodeling and the method of partial least squares (PLS).Findings – The results present empirical evidence of the significant contribution of EO in the use of AM inproject management, confirming the main hypothesis of this study. This effect was not influenced by thecontrol variables tested.Research limitations/implications – This study contributes to the development of research on AMand minimizes the literature gap on the connection between entrepreneurship and AM. The results are limitedto the sample. Studies with broader samples and different segments are suggested, as well as the contributionof each dimension of the EO to AM.Practical implications – Innovativeness, risk-taking, proactiveness, autonomy and competitiveaggressiveness (EO dimensions) can contribute to the use of AM and guide actions to develop thesebehaviors, pursuing better adherence to agile values and the use of AM in project management.Originality/value – The originality of this study regarding the connection between EO and AM lies on thepresentation of a theoretical model of this relationship and reduces the gap in this research field. Given the degree of EO contribution in AM (19.7%), there are other factors that affect the use of AM in projectmanagement that should be investigated

Dissecting the function of Atg1 complex in Dictyostelium autophagy reveals a connection with the pentose phosphate pathway enzyme transketolase

The network of protein–protein interactions of the Dictyostelium discoideum autophagy pathway was investigated by yeast two-hybrid screening of the conserved autophagic proteins Atg1 and Atg8. These analyses confirmed expected interactions described in other organisms and also identified novel interactors that highlight the complexity of autophagy regulation. The Atg1 kinase complex, an essential regulator of autophagy, was investigated in detail here. The composition of the Atg1 complex in D. discoideum is more similar to mammalian cells than to Saccharomyces cerevisiae as, besides Atg13, it contains Atg101, a protein not conserved in this yeast. We found that Atg101 interacts with Atg13 and genetic disruption of these proteins in Dictyostelium leads to an early block in autophagy, although the severity of the developmental phenotype and the degree of autophagic block is higher in Atg13-deficient cells. We have also identified a protein containing zinc-finger B-box and FNIP motifs that interacts with Atg101. Disruption of this protein increases autophagic flux, suggesting that it functions as a negative regulator of Atg101.We also describe the interaction of Atg1 kinase with the pentose phosphate pathway enzyme transketolase (TKT). We found changes in the activity of endogenous TKT activity in strains lacking or overexpressing Atg1, suggesting the presence of an unsuspected regulatory pathway between autophagy and the pentose phosphate pathway in Dictyostelium that seems to be conserved in mammalian cellsThis work was supported by grant nos.
