Diseño de un programa de educación para la salud: aspectos psicologicos de los cuidados de enfermería al paciente terminal y su familia

Un enfermero basa sus cuidados en la formación que previamente ha adquirido, promoviendo, manteniendo y restableciendo la salud de las personas y la autonomía de sus funciones vitales, tanto físicas como psíquicas. Cuando se trata de pacientes terminales, la finalidad no es la misma ya que no se restablece la salud de la persona; pero siempre hay algo que podemos hacer y en este caso es conseguir la calidad de vida del paciente hasta el momento de su fallecimiento. Por lo tanto, se precisa de unos conocimientos y unas habilidades diferentes para el abordaje de estos pacientes, donde el aspecto psicológico cobra un papel importante en los cuidados. Pese a todo esto, la mayoría de los profesionales de enfermería que día a día trata con estos pacientes y su familia, no tienen una formación específica en cuidados paliativos, incluso cuando este ámbito requiere de unas habilidades específicas más complejas, donde el cuidado tiene que considerar los aspectos físicos, psicológicos, sociales y espirituales del paciente como una unidad indivisible. Por ello, mediante la elaboración de este trabajo, se quiere establecer un Diseño de un Programa de educación para la salud dirigido al personal de enfermería sobre los aspectos psicológicos de los cuidados al paciente terminal y su familia, organizado en sesiones teóricas con el fin de aumentar la calidad de vida de los pacientes terminales y su familia mejorando las habilidades y conocimientos de los enfermeros en el abordaje con estos pacientes.Grado en Enfermerí

45p.It is evident that education for environmental sustainability is not born as an accident but as the search for tools to counteract and compensate the damages that have been caused to the environment such as deforestation, greenhouse effect, climate change, products of evolution of man, although it is true that environmental issues are very recent within the culture and way of thinking of humility, often generating large-scale advertising does not generate great added value for the seriousness of the problem that is currently being faced, as it is environmental deterioration. Currently, the aim is to change consciousness, the way of looking at the environment, values, abilities and attitudes of human beings towards the environment, but many times these campaigns are only on paper or companies try to bless the problem to make believing that they contribute to the solution of the problem and that they really care about the environment they harm, and not only do companies with their industrial activities generate harm to the environment, human beings with daily activities generate their contribution to contribute to the disaster that currently they live, since they are not fully aware of their contribution to care or to the progressive deterioration that is becoming more evident towards the environment every day. Actualmente se busca cambiar la conciencia, la forma de ver el medio ambiente, los valores, las habilidades y actitudes de los ser humanos hacía el medio, pero muchas veces esa campañas solo quedan en papel o las empresas tratan de colocar benditas al problema para hacer creer que contribuyen a la solución del problema y que les importa realmente el medio al cual hacen daño, y no solo las compañías con sus actividades industriales generan daño al medio, los ser humanos con las actividades diarias generan su aporte para contribuir al desastre que actualmente se vive, ya que no son conscientes en su totalidad de cuál es su aporte al cuidado o al deterioro progresivo que cada día es más notorio hacía el medio ambiente. En generaciones futuras se preguntaran por qué los antepasados no cuidaron el lugar donde vivían, se harán mil y una pregunta respecto al lugar que quedara como un desastre total sino se cuidad desde ahora, pero no basta con tener presente los conceptos que inciden sobre el medio ambiente, este proceso de ser partícipes del cuidado hacía el medio ambiente requiere de una interacción de un dinamismo que se soporte con acciones. Se plantea una forma de generar sensibilización, el proyecto arte con estrategias educativas explora diferentes maneras para permitir el acceso al conocimiento del estado de deterioro en que se encuentra el medio ambiente y las formas en que se podría contribuir con el cuidado de este, en escenarios cargados de ideas modificada en el arte para facilitar esta información. Modeling the thin-layer drying process of Granny Smith apples: Application in an indirect solar dryer

The thin-layer drying kinetics of Granny Smith apples is determined by thermogravimetric analysis of the drying process at constant temperatures ranging from 20 degrees C to 50 degrees C, using intervals of 5 degrees C. The experimental drying curves obtained in the TGA were fitted to the Wang-Singh equation, which was found to describe precisely the drying process occurring at constant drying temperature. A novel model, capable of predicting the evolution of the moisture ratio of Granny Smith apples during the drying process with variable drying temperatures, was proposed. The model was validated with experimental TGA measurements of the drying of apples at variable temperatures, typical of solar drying, obtaining maximum deviations for the drying time less than 1.5%. Once validated, the model proposed was also applied to the drying of Granny Smith apples in an indirect solar dryer. The comparison of the model prediction with the experimental measurements of the drying of apples at variable drying conditions conducted in a lab-scale solar dryer showed a proper agreement, with low deviations (less than 10%) associated to the thermal inertia of the samples. Identifying Industrial Productivity Factors with Artificial Neural Networks

534-536Productivity is an important issue in recent literature because it encourages cost savings and efficiency in the use of industrial resources in all countries. However, the study of the factors that explain the productivity levels reached by the companies presents controversy, and the existing research demands new analysis models that can more accurately identify the causes of industrial productivity. The present study aims to develop a new model that allows determining with high accuracy the factors that explain productivity in the construction industry. For this, an important sample of industrial companies and techniques of artificial neural networks has been used. The results obtained provide levels of accuracy that exceed those obtained by the previous literature, and have allowed us to identify that the aspects related to turnover, liquidity, and growth of companies provide an excellent strategy for promoting industrial productivity

Evaluating the accuracy of the Distributed Activation Energy Model for biomass devolatilization curves obtained at high heating rates

The characteristic parameters of devolatilization, the activation energy and the frequency factor, can be obtained following different experimental approaches. In the Distributed Activation Energy Model (DAEM), these parameters are derived from several TGA curves that are typically obtained for constant, low heating rate experiments. Then, the results are used to model high heating rate processes typical of industrial combustors. In this work, a wide range of heating rates were employed to obtain different TGA curves of the biomass pyrolysis, in order to analyse the validity of DAEM when extrapolating the kinetic parameters obtained for low heating rate curves used in the laboratory to higher heating rates present in industrial applications. The TGA curves of the biomass pyrolysis employed in DAEM were varied from low heating rates (around 10 K/min, values typically found in the literature on DAEM), to high heating rates (up to 200 K/min). The differences in the activation energy and the frequency factor obtained for different heating rates, were evaluated and the validity of the model was discussed. The results show differences between the activation energy and the frequency factor obtained using low and high heating rates during the TGA tests. Implementación del sistema de control interno según el marco integrado COSO 2013 y su efecto en la rentabilidad en la empresa Palacio S.A.C, Lima-año 2019

En el presente trabajo de investigación titulado Implementación del sistema de control interno según el marco integrado COSO 2013 y su efecto en la rentabilidad en la empresa Palacio S.A.C en el año 2019 tiene como objetivo determinar el efecto de la implementación de controles sobre la rentabilidad de la empresa. En primer lugar, conocer la empresa, su rubro y funcionamiento; luego, se realizó un cuestionario de control interno para identificar los riesgos de la empresa, se evaluó sus Estados financieros, identificando en su estructura partidas que pudieran contener errores. De las respuestas obtenidas, los datos y documentos recolectados, se logró encontrar evidencias de errores, como consecuencia de riesgos no controlados que afectaron la actividad operativa y rentabilidad de la empresa. Clinical and economic impact of current ALK rearrangement testing in Spain compared with a hypothetical no-testing scenario

Background: Currently biomarkers play an essential role in diagnosis, treatment, and management of cancer. In non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) determination of biomarkers such as ALK, EGFR, ROS1 or PD-L1 is mandatory for an adequate treatment decision. The aim of this study is to determine the clinical and economic impact of current anaplastic lymphoma kinase testing scenario in Spain. Methods: A joint model, composed by decision-tree and Markov models, was developed to estimate the long-term health outcomes and costs of NSCLC patients, by comparing the current testing scenario for ALK in Spain vs a hypothetical no-testing. The current distribution of testing strategies for ALK determination and their sensitivity and specificity data were obtained from the literature. Treatment allocation based on the molecular testing result were defined by a panel of Spanish experts. To assess long-term effects of each treatment, 3-states Markov models were developed, where progression-free survival and overall survival curves were extrapolated using exponential models. Medical direct costs (expressed in €, 2019) were included. A lifetime horizon was used and a discount rate of 3% was applied for both costs and health effects. Several sensitivity analyses, both deterministic and probabilistic, were performed in order test the robustness of the analysis. Results: We estimated a target population of 7628 NSCLC patients, including those with non-squamous histology and those with squamous carcinomas who were never smokers. Over the lifetime horizon, the current ALK testing scenario produced additional 5060 and 3906 life-years and quality-adjusted life-years (QALY), respectively, compared with the no-testing scenario. Total direct costs were increased up to € 51,319,053 for testing scenario. The incremental cost-effectiveness ratio was 10,142 €/QALY. The sensitivity analyses carried out confirmed the robustness of the base-case results, being the treatment allocation and the test accuracy (sensitivity and specificity data) the key drivers of the model. Conclusions: ALK testing in advanced NSCLC patients, non-squamous and never-smoker squamous, provides more than 3000 QALYs in Spain over a lifetime horizon. Comparing this gain in health outcomes with the incremental costs, the resulting incremental cost-effectiveness ratio reinforces that testing non-squamous and never-smoker squamous NSCLC is a cost-effective strategy in Spain
