Introduction. - Subacute thyroiditis has a seasonal incidence, which is higher in summer and is also associated with some viruses such as paramixovirus, cozsackie, measles and other viral infections such as those caused by SARS-CoV2 being the latter an infection with high incidence today.
Objectives. - To analyze the information of scientific relevance about acute thyroiditis and its relationship with SARS-COV2 infection.
Methodology. - Through the use of scientific articles, doctoral theses, books and information available on the subject in scientific databases such as: Google Scholar, Pubmed, Elsevier, Cochrane, UpToDate and Medline. 35 related articles were found in English and Spanish, however, 18 articles were used and 15 were discarded for not meeting the inclusion criteria.
Results.- Subacute thyroiditis occurs with higher incidence in women, with a ratio of 4 to 1 in relation to men, with the age of greatest presentation being between 40 and 50 years, representing 70 to 80% of cases. Symptoms of SAT in patients infected with SARS-COV 2 virus who were in the intensive care unit have been reported to be 10%, while those who were not in the intensive care unit exhibited symptoms in 20%. In addition, the presence of suggestive symptoms of SARS-COV 2 post-infection SAT in young children has been described.
Discussion. - Between the year 2016 -2020 according to the article Subacute thyroiditis during the COVID‑19 pandemic: a prospective study published in January 2022 points out that the behavior of the SAT was similar at the time of pandemic than in years before it; concluding that lower exposure to pathogens did not reduce its prevalence, as the SARS virus VOC2 increased prevalence.
Conclusions. - The virus of SARS-COV 2 is able to enter the cell through receptors of membrane proteins being its site of entry the enzyme ACE2, which is found in various body structures such as the kidneys, adrenal glands, adipose tissue, thyroid, endothelium, pancreas, testicles, ovary and pituitary; so the virus is capable of causing damage to these structures at any levelIntroducción.
Evaluation of non-financial information and its contribution to advancing the sustainable development goals within the Spanish banking sector
Non-financial information and its contribution to the achievement of each Sustainable Development Goal
(SDG) are assuming great relevance in the business world, in which it is not enough to be economically sustainable
without also being sustainable from ethical, environmental, and social points of view. An analysis of
how the financial sector contributes to the achievement of the SDGs is crucial in two ways. Firstly, due to the
relevance and the magnitude of this sector itself; secondly, and more importantly in our view, because of the
financial leverage of the banking sector that has a mandate to facilitate the transition of all economic sectors
towards sustainability, guided by the 2030 Agenda. However, despite the expectations placed on banking
entities, there is a research gap on their disclosure practices and on the SDG-related information that they
report. In addition, the academic literature centered on the analysis of SDG-related disclosures through artificial
intelligence is very scarce. To fill this gap, the objective of our study is, on the one hand, to analyze
whether there is greater homogeneity in the disclosure of non-financial information in the Spanish banking
sector following the transposition of Directive 2014/95/EU into Spanish Law. On the other hand, it is to evaluate
the contribution of banking entities to the SDGs. To do so, the non-financial information reports of 12
Spanish banks are analyzed, completing a comparative evaluation and using artificial intelligence to identify
mentions of each SDG and its targets. The Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution
(TOPSIS) was also used to rank the banking entities in accordance with their contribution to each SDG. The
results reflected the plurality, in both breadth and quality, in the disclosure of non-financial information and
in the contribution to the SDGs. The only point in common between all the entities that were studied was
the use of the GRI disclosure framework and the identification of the priority SDGs, positioning SDGs 8, 13,
and 4 in priority positions. The banks with higher bank capitalization levels occupied the top of the ranking
of contributions to the SDGs. Differences were presented for all other aspects, even to the point of highlighting
that some entities or independent verifiers had not offered all the information. In conclusion, greater
efforts to improve the quality of non-financial reporting and further development of the common regulatory
framework will be fundamental for better comparability between the reports from banking entities. Furthermore,
this study shows that natural language processing can be applied to better measure companies’ alignment
with the SDGs based on the text of their non-financial report

In this paper we will make known the starting points, preliminary results and new considerations regarding the population distribution through out Prehistory and Ancient Times in the Almanzora Valley (Almería). Prehistoric settlements have been localised both in the valley and the mountains, and since the Iberian period, dwellings have concentrated in the valley.
Polyhydroxyalkanoate production by the plant beneficial rhizobacterium Pseudomonas chlororaphis PCL1606 influences survival and rhizospheric performance
Pseudomonas chlororaphis PCL1606 (PcPCL1606) is a model rhizobacterium used to study beneficial bacterial interactions with the plant rhizosphere. Many of its beneficial phenotypes depend on the production of the antifungal compound 2-hexyl, 5-propyl resorcinol (HPR). Transcriptomic analysis of PcPCL1606 and the dele-tional mutant in HPR production ΔdarB strain, assigned an additional regulatory role to HPR, and allowed the detection of differentially expressed genes during the bacterial interaction with the avocado rhizosphere.
Interestingly, the putative genes phaG (PCL1606_46820) and phaI (PCL1606_56560), with a predicted role in polyhydroxyalkanoate biosynthesis, were detected to be under HPR control. Both putative genes were expressed in the HPR-producing wild-type strain, but strongly repressed in the derivative mutant ΔdarB, impaired in HPR production. Thus, a derivative mutant impaired in the phaG gene was constructed, characterized and compared with the wild-type strain PcPCL1606 and with the derivative mutant ΔdarB. The phaG mutant had strongly reduced PHA production by PcPCL1606, and displayed altered phenotypes involved in bacterial survival on the plant roots, such as tolerance to high temperature and hydrogen peroxide, and decreased root survival, in a similar way that the ΔdarB mutant. On the other hand, the phaG mutant does not have altered resistance to desiccation, motility, biofilm formation or adhesion phenotypes, as displayed by the HPR-defective ΔdarB
mutant have. Interestingly, the mutant defective in PHA production also lacked a biocontrol phenotype against the soilborne pathogenic fungus Rosellinia necatrix, even when the derivative mutant still produced the antifungal HPR compound, demonstrating that the final biocontrol phenotype of PcPCL1606 first requires bacterial survival and adaptation traits to the soil and rhizosphere environment.Funding for open access charge: Universidad de Málaga / CBU
Altmetrics analysis of Archivos de Bronconeumología from 2014 to 2018
Introduction: Alternative metrics or altmetrics are non-traditional measurements of scientific production that reflect a publication's influence in social networks and similar channels of dissemination. The aim of this study was to analyze the media impact of ARCHIVOS DE BRONCONEUMOLOGÍA according to 2 altmetric aggregators and website visits. Methods: This was an observational study of the original articles and review and consensus articles published in ARCHIVOS DE BRONCONEUMOLOGÍA during the period 2014-2018. Data from the PlumX Metrics and Altmetric aggregators and visits to the ARCHIVOS DE BRONCONEUMOLOGÍA website were analyzed. Five comparisons were made: by specialty area, by funding received, by number of participating centers, by document type, and by topic. In a subanalysis, altmetrics were correlated with the conventional citation system. Results: We analyzed 273 papers, of which 186 were original articles (68.1%). The papers that achieved greater media impact in the 2 aggregators analyzed, and in terms of website visits, were pulmonology papers and review and consensus articles. The mean Altmetric Attention Score was 1.9 ± 4.4 (range 0-59), which is above average for the date of publication of the paper. A statistically significant weak to moderate correlation was identified between altmetrics and conventional citations. Conclusions: Review articles, consensus documents, and pulmonology papers had a greater media impact. Mean Altmetric Attention Score was higher than the average based on the date of publication. A weak to moderate correlation between altmetrics and conventional citations was identified.
