The Hoax of SARA (Tribe, Religion, Race, and Intergroup) as a Threat to the Ideology of Pancasila Resilience

The subject of this research is to provide an overview of the mechanisms and schemes of hoax news spreading. Research is also trying to provide an explanation threat of hoaxes about SARA (Tribe, Religion, Race, and Intergroup) towards the resilience of the Pancasila ideology. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method by describing the results of the 2019 Mastel survey of national hoax outbreaks using the Pancasila ideology approach as a perspective of the study. The results showed that the hoax on the issue of SARA was the second most widely hoax news content received by the public with the popular channels for hoax distribution is social media, with a kind of text messaging. A hoax about SARA is the most frequently accepted hoaxes in the community every day.  The scheme of spreading hoax news is by spreading slander to political opponents, excessive branding of leader/figure, fake testimony, irresponsible quotation, and bombastic photos or titles. Hoax news about SARA issues poses a severe threat to Indonesia's unity because triggering controversy, public unrest, sectarian sentiment, intolerance of political instability, and security disturbances

Determinan Keterlibatan Perempuan dalam Gerakan Radikalisme

This article aims to provide an overview of women motivational factors involved in radicalism movements. Understanding the determinants of women's involvement in the radicalism movement is an effort to explain the increasing number of women's involvement in radicalism. The involvement of women in the radicalism  movement is not new, but it seems strange because behind this, women are no longer  just supporters behind the scenes, but directly in real action. The method used in this article is descriptive qualitative by conducting a literature review on the phenomenon of women's involvement in the radicalism movement. The results of the study show that the profile of radical actors has transcended the gender barrier. There are no specific categories for being targeted by radical groups. The determinants of women's involvement in the radicalism movement are caused by religious factors, group pressure, political factors, and personal reasons

ANALISA BEBERAPA FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI PRAKTIK PERATAAN LABA PADA PERUSAHAAN TEKSTIL YANG TERDAFTAR DI BURSA EFEK INDONESIA (BEI)

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perataan laba. Penelitian ini melibatkan 6 perusahaan manufacture tekstil yang terdaftar pada bursa efek Indonesia dengan mengambil 6 tahun penelitian mulai tahun 2003 sampai dengan tahun 2008. Berdasarkan penelitian ini terdapat 3 faktor yang mempengaruhi faktor perataan laba yaitu ukuran perusahaan, profitabilitas perusahaan dan leverage operasi perusahaan. Perataan laba merupakan salah satu bentuk manajemen laba sebagai sesuatu alat yang digunakan oleh manajemen untuk mengurangi fluktuasi laba yang dilaporkan agar sesuai dengan target yang diinginkan baik secara artificial maupun riil. Dari pernyataan di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa perataan laba merupakan salah satu upaya para manajer perusahaan untuk mengurangi fluktuasi laba yang dilaporkan sehingga kinerja perusahaan terlihat stabil. Hasil penelitian ini adalah model regresi logistik layak digunakan dan variabel ukuran perusahaan, profitabilitas perusahaan dan leverage perusahaan secara serentak dan parsial tidak berpengaruh terhadap perataan laba, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan variabel ukuran perusahaan, profitabilitas perusahaan dan leverage perusahaan dalam memprediksi variabel perataan laba relatif sangat rendah yaitu sebesar 12,2% dan kemungkinan lainnya disebabkan tingkat perekonomian bangsa yang tidak stabil ini terlihat dari tingginya suku bunga bank, yang dapat menghambat pertumbuhan ekonomi

THE EFFECTIVENESS OF DIARY WRITING IN IMPROVING UNIVERSITY STUDENTS’ ASSERTIVE ATTITUDES

This study aimed to apply diary writing as a therapy for low-assertive students. This study employed the Core Conflictual Relationship Theme (CCRT) method developed by Lester Luborsky. The data were collected using diary as an elicitation medium and analyzed using the Garnefski Emotion-Cognitive Regulation Questionnaire (CER). The results showed that(1) student low assertiveness could be improved through expressive writing therapy using a diary as the medium; (2) diary as a therapeutic medium was effective in improving student low assertiveness because diary writing tasks can be distinguished based on CCRT and CER; (3) there was a difference between male and female assertiveness patterns; (4) subjects in the category were easier to change towards normal assertiveness with diary writing therapy compared to subjects in the LSE category.

Student Writen Conversation In The Midst Of Social Media Era

This research aimed to explain the model of writen conversationin the social media era, such presence of WhatsApp (WA) as well as to explore some of the positive contributions of WA used in building the Real Life Communication. By applying the Exploratory design, this research involved 4 participants as a purposively selected data source with indicators as WA users. Data were collected through Focus Group Discussion, Interview, and Observation and analyzed by several stages i.e. data reduction, displaying data, categorizing, and verifying and concluding. The results showed that Indonesia writen conversationcan decrease as the dominant use of WA was not wise. Nevertheless, the use of WA applications also had some positive contributions in building a real relationship. Finally, the assumption that the negative impact of using the WA application should be able to change the mindset and positive attitude in initiating and defending an oral interaction

APLIKASI AYO WISATA KE CILACAP DALAM BAHASA MANDARIN DI DINAS PEMUDA OLAHRAGA DAN PARIWISATA

This article is entitled "Application for Ayo Wisata to Cilacap in Mandarin at the Department of Youth, Sports and Tourism of Cilacap Regency". This application is only available in Indonesian. This causes foreign tourists to find the problem of not being able to convey information clearly. Cilacap is one of the areas visited by many Chinese people both for work and for tourism. One of them is because they work at PLTU Cilacap. To fill their spare time or vacation when they are not working, they usually go to visit tourist destinations in Cilacap. The visit of Chinese tourists to Cilacap tourist destinations decreased during the Covid 19 pandemic. Therefore, in order to continue to provide tourism services as an effort to promote tourist destinations in Cilacap, the Let's Travel To Cilacap application was made in the Chinese version. This of course helps a lot of Chinese tourists, whether in Indonesia or in China, can still get this information easily. This video is made visually using the method of voiceover and subtitles. This, in addition to improving tourism services in Cilacap, also makes it easier for Chinese tourists to visually identify tourist attractions in Cilaca

Politeness is not solely concerned the language proficiency but a form of multiple intelligence. In the reality of life is not a high IQ who became the only determinants ofsuccess alive. Many people who are cognitively smart but failed in life. On the contrary, many people who are cognitively average but a success in life. Theoretically, there are other factors which are thought to be the deciding one\u27s success in life, among others, the ability to speak in a polite form of intelligence is linguistic, interpersonal, intercultural and personal. Because politeness is a form of intelligence, hence his acquisition should be through education, both in the institution of formal and non-formal. Children need to be educated to use polite language as the embodiment ofa good personal identity, in order to succeed in wading through life.This paper discusses the relationship between politeness and intelligence compounds. Some theory of politeness language (linguistic politeness theory) try combined with compound theory of intelligence (KM), which was conceived by Howard Gardner (1983). Gardner finds evidence that linguistic intelligence is one form of intelligence compound. In the perspective of theory of language, the Gardner\u27s view can be realized in the form of politeness language. Family Suicide Bombing: A Psychological Analysis of Contemporary Terrorism

Terrorist organizations are now transforming into small cells and spreading their ideology to various parts of the world. The acts of terrorism in the Surabaya bomb case provide a new paradigm of the involvement of family members or an inner circle in their actions. The involvement of family members is considerably related to some psychological aspects. This study aims to provide a psychological analysis of suicide bombing terrors involving family members. The data obtained were analyzed using the perspective of Moghaddam’s theory, ‘staircases to terrorism’. The result indicates that the suicide bomber who has brought their family members in the action has gone through these six stages of psychological aspects: (1) Search for meaning. Actors seeking self and social meaning and finding reasons from the radical ideology adopted; (2) Presenting the ideology. The idea arises to fight those who are considered to do injustice, and the desire to change the system of government and politics is legitimate; (3) Cultivation stage. The process of ideology processing justification for resistance to those who are considered to be doing injustices; (4) Control over members. The stages of correct or wrong assessment based on the fatwa of the leader; (5) Moral engagement. The stage of identity confirmation and the process of polarization of groups of friends and opponents; (6) Recruitment, which is the stage of active involvement in acts of terrorism ranging from planning, targeting, techniques used, time and location of targets to implementing recruitment

Pelatihan Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka bagi Guru di MIN 1 Banyumas

MIN 1 Banyumas mulai mempersiapkan implementasi kurikulum merdeka di sekolah dengan melakukan beberapa hal, seperti mencari tahu apa dan bagaimana kurikulum merdeka, dan berusaha membekali guru untuk melaksanakan kurikulum merdeka. Berdasarkan hasil diskusi antara tim pengabdi dengan kepala MIN 1 Banyumas, diperoleh fakta bahwa persiapan yang dilakukan dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum di madrasah dirasa masih sangat kurang karena para guru masih belum begitu memahami apa itu kurikulum merdeka, bagaimana menerapkannya, dan bagaimana cara melakukan asesmen. Hal ini disebabkan karena dalam persiapannya, MIN 1 Banyumas hanya mengundang guru dari madrasah lain yang sudah setahun lebih dulu dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka untuk memberikan pengarahan dan menularkan pengetahunnya. Oleh karenanya, dibutuhkan pelatihan bagi guru di MIN 1 Banyumas untuk mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka. Implementasi kurikulum merdeka diterapkan untuk kelas 1 dan kelas 4 per tahun 2022 ini, selanjutnya tahun 2023 ditambah dengan kelas 2 dan 5, dan tahun berikutnya ditambah kelas 3 dan 6, sehingga dalam tiga tahun kedepan MIN 1 Banyumas diharapkan sudah tuntas semua kelas menerapkan kurikulum merdeka.       Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada guru-guru di MIN 1 Banyumas tentang apa itu kurikulum merdeka, bagaimana menerapkannya, dan bagaimana cara melakukan asesmen
