    Abstrak: Istana Maimoon kini menjadi salah satu Daya Tarik Wisata (DTW) bersejarah di Kota Medan, di dalam terdapat arsitektur unik khas Melayu, barang peninggalan sejarah kerajaan, foto-foto dari Sultan Kerajaan Deli, atraksi sewa baju Adat Melayu, penampilan live music melayu, serta penjualan souvenir. Istana Maimoon pada realita masih belum memenuhi standar dari aspek atraksi secara keseluruhan, hanya ada beberapa atraksi yang dapat di nikmati Istana Maimoon sebagai salah satu Cagar Budaya di Kota Medan harus di lestarikan, dirawat, dan dijaga, oleh sebab itu penulis melihat adanya permasalahan pada kurangnya pengembangan pada Istana Maimoon guna menarik wisatawan berkunjung dan memberikan manfaat kepada penghidupan masyarakat sekitar, maka penulis tertarik melakukan penelitian dengan judul Strategi Pengembangan Istana Maimoon Kota Medan Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pendekatan survey. Strategi pengembangan dilakukan dengan melibatkan Pemerintah, Pengelola, serta Masyarakat. Diduga dengan strategi pengembangan yang dilaksanakan disana maka timbul peluang bagi mereka untuk memaksimalkan diri dan potensi mereka. Sehingga, menjadi satu pembelajaran bagi masyarakat untuk menerima dan turut serta mendukung perkembangan Istana Maimoon.   Kata Kunci: Pengembangan; Istana Maimoon; SWOT     Abstract: Maimoon Palace is one of the historic Tourist Attractions in Medan City, inside there is unique Malay architecture, royal historical relics, photos of the Sultan of the Deli Kingdom, attractions for renting Malay Traditional clothes, live Malay music performances, and souvenirs. Maimoon Palace in reality still does not reach the standards of the overall attraction aspect, there are only a few attractions that can be enjoyed Maimoon Palace as one of the Cultural Heritage in Medan City must be preserved, cared for, and maintained, therefore the author sees a problem in the lack of the development of the Maimoon Palace in order to attract tourists to visit and provide benefits to the livelihoods of the surrounding community, the authors are interested in conducting research with the title Maimoon Palace Development Strategy, Medan City, North Sumatra. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a survey approach method. The development strategy is carried out by involving the Government, Management, and the Community. Allegedly with the development strategy implemented there, there will be opportunities for them to maximize themselves and their potential.     KENDALA PENGEMBANGAN GEOSITE TEBAT RASAU SEBAGAI KAWASAN GEOWISATA BERKELANJUTAN DI GEOPARK BELITONG

    Abstrak: Tebat Rasau adalah salah satu situs geowisata yang terbentuk dari aliran sungai purba yang masih alami. Geosite Tebat Rasau juga memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan, situs ini berada di Kawasan Geopark Belitong. Geosite Tebat Rasau memiliki 2 unsur yang menjadi daya tarik pengembangan yaitu potensi keanekaragaam hayati dan keragaman budaya. Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Belitung Timur turut andil dalam pengembangan objek wisata ini dengan menetapkannya sebagai destinasi prioritas, namun karena minimnya SDM, pengembangan daya tarik wisata ini kurang optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan bagaimana interaksi dan peran dari semua unsur stakeholder dalam pengembangan Geosite Tebat Rasau di Geopark Belitong sebagai daya tarik geowisata serta apa saja faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengembangan geowisata di lokasi Geosite Tebat Rasau. Dan secara berkelanjutan masyarakat. Penelitian dilakukan secara mixmetode. Kerangka kerja geowisata berkelanjutan mengacu kepada penggunaan metode survei melalui pengumpulan data geologi dan data interaktif wawancara kepada responden   Kata Kunci: Berkelanjutan; Belitung Timur; Geowisata; Tebat Rasau     Abstract: The Tebat Rasau is one of the geotourism sites formed from an unspoiled ancient river flow. The Tebat Rasau Geosite also has the potential to be developed, this site is located in the Belitong Geopark Area. The Tebat Rasau Geosite has 2 elements that are attractive for development, namely the potential for biodiversity and cultural diversity. The Regional Government of East Belitung Regency took part in the development of this tourist attraction by setting it as a priority destination, but due to the lack of human resources, the development of this tourist attraction is less than optimal. The purpose of this study is to describe how the interactions and roles of all stakeholders in the development of the Tebat Rasau Geosite in the Belitong Geopark as a geotourism attraction and what factors influence the development of geotourism at the Tebat Rasau Geosite location. And in a sustainable community. The research was conducted using a mix method.     PEMETAAN DAERAH PENANGKAPAN IKAN BAWAL PUTIH (Pampus argenteus) DI PERAIRAN PANGANDARAN

    Salah satu wilayah yang mempunyai potensi sumberdaya hayati laut yang cukup besar adalah Perairan Pangandaran. Ikan bawal putih (Pampus argenteus) merupakan salah satu sumberdaya hayati laut yang mempunyai nilai ekonomis yang tinggi. Pemetaan daerah penangkapan ikan bawal putih dapat dilakukan dengan pemanfaatan teknologi SIG. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan daerah penangkapan ikan bawal putih dan juga menganalisis hubungan parameter oseanografi dengan produktivitas tangkapannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Data yang digunakan diambil dari Aqua modis, ECMWF, DEMNAS, dan data dari Dinas Perikanan dan Ketahanan Pangan Kabupaten Pangandaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai CPUE tertinggi berada pada posisi 108˚47’49” BT dan 7˚45’59” LS dan nilai CPUE terendah berada pada posisi 108˚40’31” BT dan 7˚46’31” LS, suhu optimum berada pada kisaran 27-28˚C, klorofil-a optimum berada pada kisaran 3,1-4,0 mg/m3, nilai optimum arus berada pada kisaran 2,6-5,0 m/s dan nilai optimum kedalaman berada pada kisaran 16-36 m.     The biological aspect of shark which landed in Karangsong’s Port, Indramayu, West Java

    This study aimed to evaluate the number of catches and describe the biological aspects of sharks landing at Karangsong’s Port Indramayu, West Java. The study was conducted from July until August 2022 with the survey method. Data were taken by purposive sampling method including species, number of catches, sex, maturity level, total length, weight, fishing gear, and location. Data were analyzed to evaluate the catch while biological aspects were used to determine the condition of sharks. Analysis of biological aspects included sex ratio, length frequency, and the level of male sex maturity, as well as the length-weight relationship. A total of 407 sharks consisting of 7 species were dominated by mature sharks. Include Carcharinus dussumieri (33,2%), Carcharinus sorrah (23,8%), Carcharinus limbatus (0,2%), Sphyrna lewini (8,4%), Rhizoprionodon acutus (1,5%), Chiloscyllium punctatum (12,5%), Loxodon macrorhinus (8,4%). The results showed the frequency distribution of fish length and weight is 44 cm to 106 cm and 0,2 to 8,5 kg.     Biological Aspects and Feeding Habits of Spinetail Devil Ray (Mobula mobular) landed in the Palabuhanratu Nusantara Fishing Port

    Optimal management of aquatic resources requires a good understanding of the biological aspects and other information related to these resources. This study was conducted to determine the biological aspects and feeding habits of Mobula mobular landed in the Palabuhanratu Nusantara Fishing Port. The research was conducted from September 2021 to May 2022. Data collected through a direct survey that included aspects of biology, stomach contents and information on fishing grounds. It was recorded that 21 individuals of M. mobular landed in the area during the study period. According to the Chi-Square test, the sex ratio between females and males is balanced with the growth pattern of M. mobular was negatively allometric. The male of M. mobular was generally found as immature individuals. The prey items identified in the stomachs belong to five groups: decapods, copepods, gastropods, Polychaeta, and others. Decapods were the most important prey (Index of Relative Importance 99,54%), while the other prey groups were only as complementary food. M. mobular is categorized as a plankton feeder. The fullness index value was 23.8%, while the vacuity index was 76.2% and categorized as relatively low fed. M. mobular is classified as an omnivorous animal that tends to be carnivorous with an animal preference with a trophic value of level 3

    Protein Fortification in Melarat Crackers with Protein Hidrolyzate Flour of Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) Meat

    Melarat crackers is typical crackers in the Priangan area, West Java that rich in carbohydrate but poor in protein. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of addition of tilapia meat protein hydrolyzate flour which is appropriate in the manufacture of melarat crackers to produce the most preferred product, to determine the chemical composition and the level of cracking of the preferred product. The method used was an experimental study using a completely randomized design of four treatments and repeated 4 times. The four treatments were 0%, 5%, 10% and 15% levels of addition of flour protein tilapia hydrolyzate from tapioca flour used. The parameters observed included the chemical composition, the level of organoleptic preferences and the cracking level of melarat crackers resulting from the various treatments. The results showed that melarat cracker with the addition of 10% tilapia protein hydrolyzate flour was the most preferred by panelists. The content of water, protein, fat, ash and carbohydrates of these melarat crackers was 5.99%; 5.50%; 0.12%; 5.63%; and 82.79%. The level of cracking was 55.3%

    Analisis Sebaran Suhu Permukaan Laut pada Musim Barat dan Musim Timur Terhadap Produksi Hasil Tangkapan Ikan Lemuru (Sardinella lemuru) Di Perairan Selat Bali

    Penelitian mengenai analisis sebaran suhu permukaan laut pada musim barat dan musim timur terhadap produksi hasil tangkapan ikan lemuru (sardinella lemuru) di perairan Selat Bali ini telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret sampai dengan bulan Juni 2019. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis pengaruh suhu permukaan laut terhadap hasil tangkapan (produksi) ikan lemuru hasil tangkapan di perairan Selat Bali.  Perairan Selat Bali terletak pada rentang 8.10oLS - 8.90oLS dan 114.25oBT – 115.25oBT. Ikan lemuru dapat ditemukan dan ditangkap pada suhu 26oC – 29oC, dengan hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan bahwa trend hasill tangkapan ikan lemuru tertinggi terjadi pada bulan April yang memiliki rata –rata yaitu sebesar 1.885ton dan trend terendah terjadi pada bulan Juli yang memiliki rata – rata hasil tangkapan sebanyak 109 ton namun selama 5 tahun terdapat hasil tangkapan yang sangat melimpah yaitu terjadi pada bulan November 2014 dan pada Januari hingga Maret 2017 tidak ditemukannya ikan lemuru. Pada saat musim Barat suhu permukaan laut cenderung tinggi dibanding musim Timur hasil tangkapan ikan lemuru juga lebih tinggi di musim Barat dibanding musim Timur. Daerah tangkapan ikan lemuru berada pada sepanjang laut Selatan Belimbingsari sampai laut Selatan Pulukan (8.10oLS-8.50oLS dan 114.20oBT-115.10oBT) namun pada saat melimpah ikan lemuru dapat ditemui di laut sekitar Taman Nasional Alas Purwo . Koefesien R bernilai 0.565 atau 56,5% hubungan suhu permukaan laut cukup kuat dengan hasil tangkapan ikan lemuru, nilai determinasi pun bernilai 0,32 atau 32% hasil tangkapan ikan lemuru dipengaruhi oleh nilai suhu permukaan laut

    This research is a study of the way the small-scale pole-and-line tuna fishery in Sorong, Indonesia by examining official records of supply chains; key informant and fishers’ perceptions of marketing; and personal observations of landings and selling. The main finding of the study is that the pole-and-line fishers in Sorong have made strenuous efforts to escape the constrictions of middlemen by direct selling to processors.

    Effective interaction between helical bio-molecules

    The effective interaction between two parallel strands of helical bio-molecules, such as deoxyribose nucleic acids (DNA), is calculated using computer simulations of the "primitive" model of electrolytes. In particular we study a simple model for B-DNA incorporating explicitly its charge pattern as a double-helix structure. The effective force and the effective torque exerted onto the molecules depend on the central distance and on the relative orientation. The contributions of nonlinear screening by monovalent counterions to these forces and torques are analyzed and calculated for different salt concentrations. As a result, we find that the sign of the force depends sensitively on the relative orientation. For intermolecular distances smaller than 6A˚6\AA it can be both attractive and repulsive. Furthermore we report a nonmonotonic behaviour of the effective force for increasing salt concentration. Both features cannot be described within linear screening theories. For large distances, on the other hand, the results agree with linear screening theories provided the charge of the bio-molecules is suitably renormalized.Comment: 18 pages, 18 figures included in text, 100 bibliog

    Search for Neutral Higgs Bosons of the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model in e+e- Interactions at \sqrt{s} = 189 GeV

    A search for the lightest neutral scalar and neutral pseudoscalar Higgs bosons in the Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model is performed using 176.4 pb^-1 of integrated luminosity collected by L3 at a center-of-mass energy of 189 GeV. No signal is observed, and the data are consistent with the expected Standard Model background. Lower limits on the masses of the lightest neutral scalar and pseudoscalar Higgs bosons are given as a function of tan(beta). Lower mass limits for tan(beta)>1 are set at the 95% confidence level to be m_h > 77.1 GeV and m_A > 77.1 GeV
