    Structuring Framework for Early Validation of Product Ideas

    The advancing digitalization leads to new challenges in the development of new product ideas. The systems, which need to be developed, are becoming increasingly complex. As complexity rises, so does the slowness of organizations. In order to remain innovative and be able to react quickly to changes in the market, validation approaches offer great potential. An essential focus is the early, customer-centric and continuous validation of development artefacts. This is the only way to cope with shorter development cycles, and develop products that address a real need. To plan a validation, engineers need to have an idea about the possibilities within a validation. This paper presents a structuring framework for early validation of product ideas, which contains the three tools of Validation Map, Building Block Cards and Validation Canvas. The objective is to enable easier planning of validation experiments

    Measurement of the proton form factor by studying e+eppˉe^{+} e^{-}\rightarrow p\bar{p}

    Using data samples collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, we measure the Born cross section of e+eppˉe^{+}e^{-}\rightarrow p\bar{p} at 12 center-of-mass energies from 2232.4 to 3671.0 MeV. The corresponding effective electromagnetic form factor of the proton is deduced under the assumption that the electric and magnetic form factors are equal (GE=GM)(|G_{E}|= |G_{M}|). In addition, the ratio of electric to magnetic form factors, GE/GM|G_{E}/G_{M}|, and GM|G_{M}| are extracted by fitting the polar angle distribution of the proton for the data samples with larger statistics, namely at s=\sqrt{s}= 2232.4 and 2400.0 MeV and a combined sample at s\sqrt{s} = 3050.0, 3060.0 and 3080.0 MeV, respectively. The measured cross sections are in agreement with recent results from BaBar, improving the overall uncertainty by about 30\%. The GE/GM|G_{E}/G_{M}| ratios are close to unity and consistent with BaBar results in the same q2q^{2} region, which indicates the data are consistent with the assumption that GE=GM|G_{E}|=|G_{M}| within uncertainties.Comment: 13 pages, 24 figure

    Observation of the isospin-violating decay J/ψϕπ0f0(980)J/\psi \to \phi\pi^{0}f_{0}(980)

    Using a sample of 1.31 billion J/ψJ/\psi events collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, the decays J/ψϕπ+ππ0J/\psi \to \phi \pi^{+}\pi^{-}\pi^{0} and J/ψϕπ0π0π0J/\psi \to \phi \pi^{0}\pi^{0}\pi^{0} are investigated. The isospin violating decay J/ψϕπ0f0(980)J/\psi \to \phi \pi^{0} f_{0}(980) with f0(980)ππf_{0}(980) \to \pi\pi, is observed for the first time. The width of the f0(980)f_{0}(980) obtained from the dipion mass spectrum is found to be much smaller than the world average value. In the π0f0(980)\pi^{0} f_{0}(980) mass spectrum, there is evidence of f1(1285)f_1(1285) production. By studying the decay J/ψϕηJ/\psi \to \phi\eta', the branching fractions of ηπ+ππ0\eta' \to \pi^{+}\pi^{-}\pi^{0} and ηπ0π0π0\eta' \to \pi^{0}\pi^{0}\pi^{0}, as well as their ratio, are also measured.Comment: 10 pages, 10 figures, published in Phys.     An amplitude analysis of the π0π0\pi^{0}\pi^{0} system produced in radiative J/ψJ/\psi decays

    An amplitude analysis of the π0π0\pi^{0}\pi^{0} system produced in radiative J/ψJ/\psi decays is presented. In particular, a piecewise function that describes the dynamics of the π0π0\pi^{0}\pi^{0} system is determined as a function of Mπ0π0M_{\pi^{0}\pi^{0}} from an analysis of the (1.311±0.011)×109(1.311\pm0.011)\times10^{9} J/ψJ/\psi decays collected by the BESIII detector. The goal of this analysis is to provide a description of the scalar and tensor components of the π0π0\pi^0\pi^0 system while making minimal assumptions about the properties or number of poles in the amplitude. Such a model-independent description allows one to integrate these results with other related results from complementary reactions in the development of phenomenological models, which can then be used to directly fit experimental data to obtain parameters of interest. The branching fraction of J/ψγπ0π0J/\psi \to \gamma \pi^{0}\pi^{0} is determined to be (1.15±0.05)×103(1.15\pm0.05)\times10^{-3}, where the uncertainty is systematic only and the statistical uncertainty is negligible.Comment: Submitted to Phys.     A neutral structure in the D (D) over bar* system around the D (D) over bar* mass threshold is observed with a statistical significance greater than 10 sigma in the processes e(+)e(-) -&gt; D+D*(-)pi(0) + c.c. and e(+)e(-) -&gt; D-0(D) over bar*(0)pi(0) + c.c. at root s = 4.226 and 4.257 GeV in the BESIII experiment. The structure is denoted as Z(c)(3885)(0). Assuming the presence of a resonance, its pole mass and width are determined to be [3885.7(-5.7)(+4.3) (stat) +/- 8.4(syst)] MeV/c(2) and [35(-12)(+11) (stat) +/- 15(syst)] MeV, respectively. The Born cross sections are measured to be sigma[e(+)e(-) -&gt; Z(c)(3885)(0)pi(0); Z(c)(3885)(0) -&gt; D (D) over bar*] = [77 +/- 13(stat) +/- 17(syst)] pb at 4.226 GeV and [47 +/- 9(stat) +/- 10(syst)] pb at 4.257 GeV. The ratio of decay rates B[Z(c)(3885)(0) -&gt; D+D*(-) + c.c.]/B[Z(c)(3885)(0) -&gt; D-0(D) over bar*(0) + c.c.] is determined to be 0.96 +/- 0.18(stat) +/- 0.12(syst), consistent with no isospin violation in the process, Z(c)(3885)(0) -&gt; D (D) over bar*.Funding: The BESIII Collaboration thanks the staff of BEPCII and the IHEP computing center for their strong support.     Este  trabalho analisa   se  a  liberdade  de  imprensa e  o  direito  à  informação podem prevalecer diante do  direito à  intimidade  e  do  direito à  imagem na transmissão de imagens de pessoas  comuns em  lugares públicos. Esta análise  será feita  diante dos  princípios da  inviolabilidade da  intimidade, do  direito à imagem,  do  direito  à  informação, da  liberdade  da  imprensa,  da  dignidade humana e da proporcionalidade.  O tema é atual, porque diariamente se vê, na televisão,  nos  jornais  e em  revistas  retratos de pessoas  tirados sem  a devida autorização.  Serão utilizados  o  método  dedutivo  e  as  técnicas  da  pesquisa bibliográfica  e  jurisprudencial.   Conclui-se   que   o  principio  da   liberdade  de imprensa e o direito à informação não justificam a filmagem não-autorizada de meros  espectadores   de   eventos   e  que,  na   ocorrência   de   filmagens  não- autorizadas  de  participantes,  cada  caso  deve   ser  ponderado  com   base  no princípio da proporcionalidade

    Online servicescape dimensions as predictors of website trust in the South African domestic airline industry

    Increased costs, competition and a dynamic environment have led to South African domestic airlines relying more on their own websites as outlets for airline tickets. Customers’ e-commerce uptake with respect to buying airline tickets online has been slow, attributed mostly to a lack of website trust. A well-designed online service scape has been identified as an important contributor to website trust by several authors, but not yet in this particular context or industry. This study investigates the extent to which three online service scape dimensions predict website trust in the South African domestic airline industry. A quantitative and descriptive research design was followed, and 300 responses were collected through self-administered questionnaires from domestic airline passengers who had purchased an airline e-ticket from a website. A multiple regression analysis indicates that online financial security is the best predictor of website trust, followed by layout and functionality and aesthetic appeal. Consequently, it is recommended that South African domestic airlines that wish to cultivate website trust should focus primarily on enhancing the online financial security of their websites, followed by customising the layout and functionality of their websites, and lastly improving aesthetic appeal by increasing the entertainment value of their websites
