The impact of the Chinese auto industry in the approach to competitiveness of the automotive industry in Colombia

El ensayo tiene como objetivo principal examinar el impacto de la industria automotriz China en el enfoque de competitividad de la industria automotriz en Colombia, basados en las cinco fuerzas de Michael Porter, por medio de una investigación cualitativa, con revisión y análisis de documentos, lo cual permite enfocar el trabajo en hacia el objetivo principal. Partiendo de que el sector automotriz en Colombia y el mundo cada día cobran gran relevancia, gracias al impacto directo que tiene este con la sociedad, donde ya los automóviles no son vistos como un bien de lujo sino como algo que permite la solución a una necesidad. Documentación y actualización de los requisitos de la norma NTC ISO 14001, e integración a los demás sistemas de gestión en la Empresa Aguas y Aguas de Pereira

El presente trabajo denominado documentación y actualización de los requisitos de la norma ISO 14001, e integración a los demás sistemas de gestión en la Empresa Aguas y Aguas de Pereira se realizo en el marco de la norma NTC ISO 14001:2004 y se desarrollo en las siguientes etapas: 1. Política Ambiental: que consiste en retomar la política integrada y verificar el compromiso ambiental. 2. Planeación: actualización y complemento de los Aspectos Ambientales, requisitos legales, formulación de objetivos y metas ambientales y asociación con programas ambientales para el control, manejo y mitigación de los Aspectos Ambientales. 3. Implementación y Operación: etapa en la cual se definieron las responsabilidades y autoridades, verificación de la competencia de los actores del Sistema y documentación y complemento de procedimientos de los programas ambientales. 4. La presencia de parásitos intestinales en caninos es muy frecuente, más aun en animales en condición de abandono o callejeros, debido a la dificultad de hacer control de ellos. Conocer la prevalencia parasitaria de la población canina de la universidad tecnológica de Pereira, permitirá implementar estrategias de control para esta infección que adicionalmente representa un riesgo zoonótico. Los helmintos intestinales son endoparásitos que se alimentan de los nutrientes que pueden encontrar en los órganos que ocupan, por lo que son un riesgo latente también para su hospedador

Posibilidades y límites de la Universidad Latinoamericana desde una perspectiva histórica

The Latin American University, throughout history, was shaped under the influence of diverse forces which outlined it in a particular manner, given the specific contexts where it appeared, in relation with colonial powers, the church, the State, and the impact of the different models which were established based on the purposes it had to fulfill, which were defined by the English, the French, the German, and the American people. Despite the interests which hang over the Latin American university, from diverse glances (the experiences of Mexico, Peru, Guatemala, Argentina, Chile, and Colombia) appear possibilities of considering the idea of restructuring an individual thinking which could recount a different identity that separates it from the Euro-centered discourse and places it in a perspective of analysis concerning the realities it has to deal with. In the configuration of the Latin American University, the following can stand out: Andrés Bello's thought, José Vasconcellos' ideas, and the implications of the Movement of Cordoba, as for the social and student movements with similar characteristics, which are directed toward the reflection about the need of making a decolonized change, not just as a matter of resistance, but of selfawareness of who we are and how to strengthen a common future. Through the eyes of a researcher: a school’s literacy project

Research and reflection are two key aspects for teachers’ growth and development. This article is a final report of a research study which aims at describing the process lived by the English coordinator and a group of high school teachers from various disciplines which was sponsored by el Instituto para la Investigación y el Desarrollo Pedagógico - IDEP (one of the most serious institutions that support educational research in Colombia). The group of researchers wanted to systematically and critically observe and analyze the reading and writing pedagogical practices held at school in order to construct collectively a better understanding of these two fundamental processes in teaching. By narrating the research experience through the eyes of one of its participants (the English coordinator), one can see that carrying out research can be a complex but very gratifying experience that can have an impact on one’s professional growth and development.La investigación y la reflexión son dos aspectos esenciales en el desarrollo y crecimiento profesional. Este artículo es un reporte final de un proyecto de investigación cuyo objetivo es describir la experiencia vivida por una de las co-investigadoras (la coordinadora de inglés de la institución) y del grupo de docentes de bachillerato de diversas disciplinas el cual fue aprobado y financiado por el Instituto para la Investigación y el Desarrollo pedagógico – IDEP (una da las instituciones más reconocidas en Colombia que apoyan la investigación). El grupo de investigadores deseaba sistematizar la observación crítica y el análisis de sus prácticas pedagógicas en torno a la lectura y a la escritura realizadas en la institución, con el fin de construir colectivamente una mejor comprensión de estos dos procesos fundamentales en la enseñanza. ¿Post-identidad? dinámicas de unos cuerpos globalizados

La apropiación cultural es una problemática muy común en la industria de la indumentaria y la moda, a lo largo de la historia se han dado muchos casos en los que estas acciones se han considerado como el detonante del proceso creativo, pero en ellas se hayan implícitos aspectos de identidad, política y realidad social. Este estudio, mediante un caso reciente de apropiación, analiza las diferentes dimensiones que tiene esta problemática y que su desarrollo ha dado como resultado poner en cuestión las formas que está adquiriendo el objeto o medio cultural dentro de uno de los principales debates contemporáneos: la identidad en tiempos globalizados y su relación con la industria de la moda y el lujo, a la vez que busca materializarlo mediante una propuesta artística.Cultural appropriation is a very common problem in the industry of clothing and fashion, throughout history there have been many cases in which these actions have been considered “the trigger” of the creative process, but there are aspects of identity, politics and social reality implied. La lectura inferencial como estrategia pedag?gica para el desarrollo del pensamiento cr?tico en los estudiantes del grado sexto del Colegio Mayor de Gales

Recurso Electr?nicoEste proyecto de investigaci?n acci?n (IA), tiene como eje fundamental brindar diferentes actividades encaminadas al desarrollo del pensamiento cr?tico a partir de la lectura inferencial como estrategia pedag?gica en los estudiantes del grado sexto, del colegio ?Mayor de Gales?; con ayuda de los procesos de razonamiento inductivo, deductivo, decodificaci?n, codificaci?n y an?lisis de situaciones ? problemas para generar nuevas informaciones y de esta manera llegar a la resoluci?n de problemas. De acuerdo a lo anterior, se propuso el desarrollo de talleres dise?ados para fortalecer la lectura inferencial. Por esta raz?n, se utilizaron las estrategias que presenta la lectura inferencial, como herramienta que proporciona elementos que conlleven a comprender cada una de las tem?ticas de los talleres, las cuales encaminan a percibir el concepto de la misma. ?sta investigaci?n centr? el inter?s en el desarrollo del pensamiento cr?tico desde la estrategias que brinda la lectura inferencial siguiendo las propuestas de los autores Isabel Sol? y Daniel Cassany; tomando como referencia psicol?gica a Robert Ennis y Richard Paul; y as? poder dise?ar y aplicar secuencias did?cticas desde las herramientas de la lectura inferencial como estrategia pedag?gica. Este proyecto de intervenci?n se realiza en cuatro fases: fase de sensibilizaci?n, all? se detect? la problem?tica y se muestra una propuesta para aplicar con los estudiantes; fase de intervenci?n, se aplicaron los talleres; fase de evaluaci?n, donde se pudo evidenciar cu?les fueron los alcances y soluci?n a la problem?tica y para finalizar la fase de socializaci?n.This action research project (IA), has as fundamental axis to offer different activities aimed at the development of critical thinking from the inferential reading as a pedagogical strategy in the students of the sixth grade, "College of Wales; with the help of the Inductive, deductive, decoding, coding and situation analysis processes - problems to generate new information and thus to solve problems. According to the above, it was proposed the development of workshops designed to strengthen inferential reading. For this reason, we used the strategies presented by inferential reading, as a tool that provides elements that lead to understanding each of the themes of the workshops, which lead to perceive the concept of the same. This research focused the interest in the development of critical thinking from the strategies offered by inferential reading following the proposals of authors Isabel Sol? and Daniel Cassany; Taking as a psychological reference to Robert Ennis and Richard Paul; And thus be able to design and apply didactic sequences from the tools of inferential reading as a pedagogical strategy. This intervention project is carried out in four phases: sensitization phase, there the problem was detected and a proposal to apply with the students is shown; Phase of intervention, the workshops were implemented; Phase of evaluation, where it was possible to demonstrate what the scope and solution to the problem were and to finish the socialization phase. ¿Post-identidad? dinámicas de unos cuerpos globalizados

La apropiación cultural es una problemática muy común en la industria de la indumentaria y la moda, a lo largo de la historia se han dado muchos casos en los que estas acciones se han considerado como el detonante del proceso creativo, pero en ellas se hayan implícitos aspectos de identidad, política y realidad social. ¿Cuáles son los límites de una apropiación? ¿Cuáles son las consecuencias de tomar rasgos o elementos de una cultura “de la que no se es parte”? ¿Qué repercusiones tendrá dentro del contexto en el que se desenvuelve esa cultura y fuera de ella?, son preguntas a las que este estudio intenta dar respuesta, al exponer un caso muy reciente de apropiación, de la casa de moda de lujo Loewe y el uso de iconografía andina en una de sus colecciones, el cual ha tomado diferentes giros, debido a la multiplicidad de posturas de cada uno de los actores. Este caso se ha convertido en el punto de partida para el desarrollo del presente Trabajo Final de Máster, el cual mediante el uso de ”Mapping controversies” o “Cartografías de las controversias” (herramienta de análisis asociada con la Actor-Network Theory, de Bruno Latour), haré visible las diferentes dimensiones que tiene esta problemática y que su desarrollo ha dado como resultado el pensar en las formas que está adquiriendo el objeto o medio cultural dentro de uno de los principales debates contemporáneos: la identidad en tiempos de globalización y su relación con la industria de la moda y el lujo.Cultural appropriation is a very common problem in the industry of clothing and fashion, throughout history there have been many cases in which these actions have been considered as the “trigger” of the creative process, but they have implied aspects of identity, politics and social reality. What are the limits of an appropriation? What are the onsequences of taking traits or elements of a culture "of which you are not a part"? What repercussions will it have within the context in which that culture unfolds and outside of it? These are questions that this study tries to answer, exposing a very recent case of appropriation, of the luxury fashion house Loewe and the use of Andean iconography in one of its collections, which has taken different turns, due to the multiplicity of positions of each of the actors. This case has become the starting point for the development of the present Master Final Project, which through the use of "Mapping controversies" or "Cartographies of controversies" (analysis tool associated with the Actor-Network Theory, of Bruno Latour), I will make visible the different dimensions of this problem and its development has resulted in thinking about the forms that the object or cultural medium is acquiring within one of the main contemporary debates: identity in times of globalization and its relationship with the fashion and luxury industry
