Integrated Reporting’s Impact on Corporate Governance: Study in Asean Capital Market

ABSTRACTIntegrated reporting (IR) that merges the firm's financial and non-financial information into one single reporting is the latest evolution of corporate financial reporting today. This study purposes to examine the impact of the implementation of IR on corporate governance, especially family business in the mining industry listed on the ASEAN capital market in the 2014-2017 period. The results of the study based on the Stata 14.2 statistical program concluded that the implementation of IR has a positive impact on corporate governance in the ASEAN capital market, i.e. the implementation of IR drivers changes in behavior and perceptions in corporate governance (reporting driven behavior), thus making corporate governance more effective.ABSTRACTPelaporan terintegrasi (IR) yang menyatukan informasi keuangan dan non-keuangan perusahaaan ke dalam satu pelaporan tunggal merupakan evolusi pelaporan keuangan perusahaan terbaru saat ini. GC-MS analysis and in silico activity prediction of phytocompounds in the roots of Chrysopogon zizanioides (L.) Roberty

Chrysopogon zizanioides (L.) Roberty (Poaceae) commonly known as Ramachamis an aromatic, vigorous growing perennial grass with medicinal properties. The plant is tolerant to extreme soil and climatic conditions and is known for its cooling properties. Roots of the plant are widely used as body scrubber and is suggested for skin diseases in Ayurveda. The present work aims to identify the components in the crude methanolic root extract of C. zizanioides using GC-MS and also to predict the pharmacokinetic behaviour of selected compounds in silico using Swiss ADME online server . 41 compounds were identified of which sesquiterpenes formed the major group. Sesquiterpene Vetivenic acid was the compound with a maximum peak area of 38.9%. Components identified is reported to possess a range of biological activities like anti oxidant, antibacterial, anti cancer, anti inflammatory, anti ulcer, analgesic and insecticidal activities. Compounds with higher peak area like Vetivenic acid, beta vatirenene, beta.-Cedren-9-.alpha.-ol, D Viridiflorol, Gamma muurolene, (Z,E)-alpha-farnesene, Nootkatone, Aromadendrene oxide-(2), 7-Acetyl-2-hydroxy-2methyl-5isopropylbicyclo[4.3.0] nonane, Rosifoliol, 9,10-dehydro isolongifolene, Ylangenol, 4,7,10,13,16,19-Docosahexaenoic acid methyl ester, Carbonic acid, propargyl 2,2,2-tri chloroethyl ester, Oxacyclotetradeca-4,11-diyne, beta eudesmol and longifolene were evaluated in silico. All these compounds proved to obey Lipinski's rule-of-five and were water soluble. Vetivenic acid showed a good bioavailability score of 85% while the others showed 55%. None of the compounds were substrates to P glycoprotein. The values predicted may be used for preliminary evaluation of pharmacological properties of C. zizanioides and also as monographs for the development of potential semisynthetic or synthetic drugs

The Optimalization of Family Coping n Caring for Mental Retardation Children through Family Psychoeducation in Jombang

Background:Children with Mental retardation have intellectual limitations which cause dependency. The limitation of mentally retarded children becomes a stressor for the family which can affect the family’s ability to provide care. So that adaptive coping is needed, so families can provide optimal care. Family psychoeducation is a way that can optimize family coping. Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of family psychoeducation on coping in treating children with mental retardation. Methods: The design of this study was quasi experimental pre-post test with control group of family psychoeducation intervention. The family population who had mental retardation children in Jombang was 277. While the sample was taken using a simple random sampling technique as many as 140 families with a distribution of 70 families as the control group and 70 families as the treatment group. The independent variable was family psychoeducation and the dependent variable was family coping in treating children with mental retardation. This study used the Wilcoxon statistical test in the treatmentgroup0.001whichfollowedbyaMannWhitneydifferencetestwhichshowed the results of ρ value (0.000)<α (0.05). Result: The results showed that there was an effect of family psychoeducation on family coping in treating children with mental retardation. Family psychoeducation provided information through a psychological approach to the care of children. Conclusion/implication: Families are expected not only understand the care of children with mental retardation but also improve family coping mechanisms so that psychosocial problems in the family are resolved properly

Eksperimentasi Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (Pbl), Discovery Learning (Dl), Dan Problem Possing (Pp) Ditinjau Dari Kecerdasan Majemuk Siswa Pada Materi Kubus Dan Balok SMP Negeri Kabupaten Demak

The objective of this research is to investigate the effect of learning models on the learning achievement in mathematics viewed from the multiple intelligences. The learning models compared were the PBL, DL, and PP models. Its population was all of the students in Grade VIII of State Junior Secondary Schools of Demak. The samples of research were taken by using the stratified cluster random sampling technique. The proposed hypotheses of research were tested by using the two-way analysis of variance with unbalanced cells. The results of research are as follows. 1) The students instructed with the PBL model have a better learning achievement in Mathematics than those instructed with the DL and PP models, and the students instructed with the DL model results in a better learning achievement in Mathematics than those instructed with the PP model. 2) The students with the logical-mathematical intelligence have a better learning achievement in Mathematics than those with the visual and interpersonal intelligences, and the students with the visual intelligence have a better learning achievement in Mathematics than those with the interpersonal intelligence. 3) In the students with the logical-mathematical and visual intelligences, the PBL model results in the same learning achievement in Mathematics as the DL, the DL model results in the same learning achievement in Mathematics as the PP model, and the PBL model results in the same learning achievement in Mathematics as the PP model. In the students with the interpersonal intelligence, the PBL model results in the same learning achievement in Mathematics as the DL, the DL model results in the same learning achievement in Mathematics as the PP model, but the PBL model results in a better learning achievement in Mathematics than the PP model. 4) In the PBL, DL , and PP models, the students with the logical-mathematical intelligence have the same learning achievement in Mathematics as those with the visual intelligence, the students with the visual intelligence have the same learning achievement in Mathematics as those with the interpersonal intelligence, and the students with the logical-mathematical intelligence have the same learning achievement in Mathematics as those with the interpersonal intelligence

The purpose of the study to know the Relationship between anxiety level with clean and healthy life behaviour at Badan Penyantunan Lanjut Usia (BPLU) Senja Cerah Paniki Kecamatan Mapanget Manado. This study's Design uses observational analytics using cross sectional approach is a study that is measured simultaneously, instantaneously or once in one time. The technique of taking sampleusing a total sample of 33 people. Chi Square statistical test results with 95% confidence level (α = 0.05) and obtained p value 0.690> 0.05. Conclusion that there is no relation between anxiety level with clean and healthy life behaviour at Badan Penyantunan Lanjut Usia (BPLU) Senja Cerah Paniki Kecamatan Mapanget Manado

Pengaruh Faktor Psikologis Terhadap Keputusan Berkunjung (Survei Pada Pengunjung Batu Secret Zoo Jawa Timur Park 2)

Since opening, the rate of visit to Batu Secret Zoo Jawa Timur Park 2 is volatile, recent data showed the rate of visit is dropping down. To anticipate a drop, needs marketing strategy to introduce tourism products. Marketing strategy can be formulated by analyzing the psychological factors that influence consumer decisions. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of psychological factors on the decision to visit Batu Secret Zoo Jawa Timur Park 2. This type of research is explanatory research. The population are visitors of Batu Secret Zoo and using purposive sampling method. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis showed the variables of motivation, perception, attitude, learning and personality positive and significantly effect as simultaneously and partially on the decision to visit. From the results of regression analysis showed attitude variable that dominant influence on the decision to visit. Marketing strategies can be formed by adding knowledge to the tourism product that offered, then bring confidence and a good feeling that will encourage visitors to tend to choose Batu Secret Zoo as a tourist destination

An Analysis Of 10th Grade High School Students’ Learning Approaches in the Context of EFL Online Learning

 The globalization and 21st century learning needs students to adopt a better approach to learning. As there are two types of approaches namely surface approach and deep approach, it is needed to investigate which are students leaning towards to, including the supporting and inhibiting factors that influence them especially in the sudden transition of online learning in pandemic situation. Using the modified R-SPQ-2F and a semi-guided interview, the study was conducted in one high school in North Bali. Using Slovin formula, there are 200 respondents who participated in the study. The modified R-SPQ-2F were analyzed using the mean score analysis and the results are students leaning towards the surface approach in the context of EFL Online learning. The interview analyzed with interactive model analysis gives comprehensive view of the supporting and inhibiting factors of the deeper approach. Turns out personal motivation, teachers’ style of teaching, and environmental factors directs their approach. These findings showed that the student learning approach is one way to evaluate the learning process. Teachers, students, and government should consider this to re-adjust the current learning situation to improve the quality of education

The Main Character in ‘Lowlife’ Music Video by Neck Deep Band : A Semiotic Approach

In social life, the study of semiotic is used to uncover the meaning implied in signs. Depart from that, the study study that is entitled “The Main Character in ‘Lowlife’ Music Video by Neck Deep Band: A Semiotic Approach” discusses the meaning conveyed from the main character in the music video. The main character was chosen as the object of research because it plays an important and most influential role in the conflict from the beginning to the end of the music video. The study is aimed to identify the visual elements contained in the main character of the music video from Neck Deep Band entitled “Lowlife”. The second aim is to analyze the denotative and connotative meaning conveyed from the main character in the music video clip.The data was collected through documentation method and note taking technique.The collected data was analyzed using descriptive qualitative method, and was based on the theory of visual communication proposed by Dyer (1993)`and the theory of denotative and connotative meaning proposed by Barthes (1957). The result of the study shows that the main character Jett contains the five visual communication elements, namely : Appearance, Manner, Activities, Props and Settings, and also Image. Jett represents a form of a cynical expression to majority elite social class that living in boring life with stiff demeanor who see themselves above anything else.   &nbsp

Hubungan Tingkat Pendidikan Ibu dan Status Gizi Anak dengan Kejadian ISPA pada Anak Usia 0-5 Tahun di Kabupaten Lombok Utara Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB)

ARTI (Acute Respiratory Tract Infection) is an infectious disease of the upper or lower respiratory tract that can cause various spectrums of disease from mild infection to severe and deadly disease, depending on the pathogen causing it. Mother's education level and nutritional status are factors that are indirectly related to the incidence of ARTI in children. Nutritional status has an important role in the child's immune system. Observational analytic quantitative research with a cross sectional study design. The sampling technique used consecutive sampling. The study was conducted at District Hospitals and all Public Health Centers in North Lombok Regency in July 2022. The research sample was 207 respondents . The data obtained were analyzed by Chi Square test. The limit of significance value is (p≤ 0.05). The study showed that from 207 respondents, 155 children (74.90%) who had positive ARTI had middle maternal education. The results of the bivariate analysis showed that the p-value 1 (PR = 6.76) (95% CI = 2.46 – 18.57). There is a significant relationship between the mother's education level and nutritional status of children incidence of ARI in children aged 0-5 years in North Lombok Regency, NTB Province
