Subjective evaluation of pain feeling during therapy by Shockware

Název práce: Subjektivní hodnocení bolesti při použití rázové vlny Cíle práce: Cílem je přinést informace o využití terapie rázovou vlnou a ověření její účinnosti u diagnózy calcar calcanei. Metoda: Jednalo se o experiment. Respondenti (n=30) byli randomizovaně rezděleni na tři skupiny. První experimentální skupina (n=10) byla ovlivňována v České republice, druhá experimentální skupina (n=10) byla ovlivňována stejnou terapií v zahraničí a kontrolní skupina (n=10) byla ovlivňována klasickou léčebnou metodou (ultrazvuk). Aplikace rázové vlny probíhala 1x týdně, po dobu 5 týdnů, tlakem 1,8 až 4,8 barů. Hodnocena byla změna subjektivního stavu bolesti pomocí vizuálně analogové škály. Vyšetření byla prováděna před zahájením léčby a po 5. (poslední) aplikaci rázové vlny. Výsledky: Experimentální skupina E1 vykázala zlepšení v průměru o 1,9 ± 0,97 bodů stupnice VAS, experimentální skupina E2 vykázala zlepšení v průměru o 4,3 ± 2,15 bodů a kontrolní skupina K o 2,6 ± 1,01 bodů. Výsledky ukazují že rázová vlna má pozitivní efekt na zkoumanou diagnózu. The first experimental group (n=10) was affected by therapy in the Czech Republic, the second experimental group (n=10), was affected by the same therapy in Greece. The control group (n=10) was tested by standard therapy method (ultrasound). The shockwave was aplied once a week, for 5 weeks in total, using pressure 1,8 - 4,8 bars. Changes in pain feeling were evaluated by visual-analog scale. Examinations were made before the first application as well as after the last (the fifth) application. Results: Experimental group E1 was improved in avarage by 1,9 ± 0,97 points of the VAS scale. Experimental group E2 was improved in avarage by 4,3 ± 2,15 points by VAS scale. Control group was improved in avarage by 2,6 ± 1,01 points by VAS scale. The results shows that shock wave has positive effect for the diagnose. Vybrané aspekty studia v kurzech anglického jazyka na U3V ZČU v Plzni

Tento příspěvek je tematicky zaměřen na studium posluchačů Univerzity třetího věku (U3V) na Západočeské univerzitě v Plzni. Přestože otázka celoživotního vzdělávání seniorů vyvstává v posledních desetiletích v naší republice se stále větší naléhavostí, mimo jiné i  vzhledem k demografickým trendům, v odborné literatuře není této problematice u nás věnována dostatečná pozornost. Autorky příspěvku nejprve informují o studiu na U3V v Plzni obecně a následně se blíže zaměřují na kurzy anglického jazyka, které jsou seniorům v rámci studia nabízeny. V další části jsou popsány a rozebrány cíle a výsledky dotazníkového šetření, kterého se zúčastnili všichni stávající účastníci těchto kurzů v akademickém roce 2020/2021. Autorky se věnují také aktuální problematice online výuky seniorů, stejně jako i motivaci seniorů ke studiu. V diskusi jsou pak porovnány výsledky dotazníkového šetření s poznatky uváděnými v odborné literatuře

Title in English: Museum professions and the public 2: Reflection of the educational phenomenon in contemporary museum practice. Among topical issues in present-day museology and museum practice is the dynamic relationship between science and education. The functionality of this interconnection in museum practice is projected into various forms of communication of research results achieved by professional museum workers to the general public. This mainly concerns the creation of well-understandable and visitor-attractive temporary and permanent exhibitions, specialised education programmes for schoolchildren or other groups, popularising thematic lectures and other accompanying programmes and cultural events, which at the same time observe the didactic rules of scientificity, presentiveness, interconnection of theory and practice etc. The publication offers a current insight into selected scientific disciplines involved in museum institutions and into the specifics of museum practice in the field of popularisation and mediation of their educational potential to the general public

Design and ethnography in non-profit sector–case study of non-profit organization INEX-SDA

Diploma thesis focuses on the workcamps organized by non-profit organization INEX-Association of Voluntary Activities to propose recommendations for communication or product modification in a way that will increase the interest of university students in participation in these workcamps. After familiarizing with the brief history of humanitarianism and its modern forms, the thesis focuses on the development of the non-profit sector in the Czech Republic. The research part is based on the interconnection of ethnographic research and design that takes shape in the form of Design Thinking. Specific recommendations were created based on the "user persona" created by interpreting the conclusions of ethnographic research.Diplomová práce se soustředí na workcampy organizované neziskovou organizací INEX-Sdružení dobrovolných aktivit s cílem navrhnout doporučení pro komunikaci nebo úpravu produktu takovým způsobem, který zvýší zájem vysokoškolských studentů o účast na těchto workcampech. Po seznámení se stručnou historií humanitarismu a jeho novodobými podobami se práce zaměřuje na rozvoj neziskového sektoru v České republice. Výzkumná část je založena na propojení etnografického výzkumu a designu, které nabývá podoby ve formě Design Thinking. Konkrétní doporučení byla vytvářena na základě „person“ vytvořených z interpretací závěrů etnografického výzkumu

Experimental study of the influence of user behaviour on the output of the Instagram algorithn

Social networks are a driving force in today's society and affect more things than one might think at first glance. These include the creation of opinion bubbles, rabbit holes, the breakdown of public discourse, and more. User behavior used there varies, and its influence on the evolution of social networks, and hence its impact on their algorithms, has been described rather superficially so far. This paper will examine the influence of user behavior on the transformation of the Instagram social network algorithm. The aim of this thesis is to determine whether and to what extent the Instagram algorithm responds to different types of user behaviour through experimental research.Sociální sítě jsou hybatelem dnešní společnosti a ovlivňují více věcí, než by se na první zamyšlení mohlo zdát. Mezi takové spadá vznik názorových bublin, rabbit holes, rozpad veřejného diskurzu a další. Uživatelské chování se na nich různí a jeho vliv na vývoj sociálních sítí, potažmo vliv na jejich algoritmus, byl doposud popsán spíše povrchně. Tato práce se bude zabývat vlivem uživatelského chování na proměnu algoritmu sociální sítě Instagram. Comparison of the hockey reporter's routine in the broadcasting of Czech professional hockey league in seasons 1993/94 and 2018/19

This bachelor thesis will be analysing the routine of hockey sports reporters from Czech television (Česká televize) in the broadcasting of the Czech professional hockey league in seasons 1993/94 and 2018/19. The theoretical part focuses on the history of sports broadcasting and hockey broadcasting on Czechoslovak and Czech television screens. Additionally, another focus of the theoretical part is the work and practice of sports reporters. The practical part analyses three hockey games selected from different seasons of the Czech professional hockey league using semiotic analysis and in-depth semi-structured interviews. The work aims to capture the change in the practice of reporters at hockey games in the selected time period and recognize the change in the process of preparation for their work in the broadcasting of hockey games

Tato práce bude sloužit studentům pro pochopení teorie logistiky. Cílem je analyzovat podnikovou logistiku společnosti SOR Libchavy spol. s r.o. a nalézt prostor pro zlepšení. V první částí bakalářské práce je teoreticky vymezena problematika logistiky a náklady v jejích procesech sledované.
