Phase Space Methods in Image Formation Theory

A review of the basic mathematical principles and properties of some phase space functions (Wigner and Ambiguity functions) is first presented in a more general mathematical context. Then, we deal in detail with three applications : image formation in optical systems (specifically cascading systems of lenses), image formation in Transmission Electron Microscopy, by taking advantage of some formal similarities with the previous examples and, finally, contrast transfer functions in Electron Microscopy in order to obtain 2-dimensional plots which provide information on the behavior of a transmission electron microscope. Also, the relations of these functions with other mathematical tools utilized in image processing and image formation theory are discussed

“Branding y el posicionamiento en la empresa corporación Continental Danny EIRL- La Victoria, 2017”

La presente tesis de investigación tuvo como objetivo general Determinar la influencia del branding en el posicionamiento de la empresa corporación continental Danny E.I.R.L., la victoria, 2017. La población estuvo conformada por 60 clientes de la empresa y la muestra estudiada fue la totalidad de la población, los datos fueron recogidos mediante la técnica de encuesta y se utilizó como instrumento el cuestionario de 20 preguntas, los datos fueron procesado por el programa estadístico SPSS, obteniendo como resultados que existe una influencia positiva considerable del Branding en el posicionamiento de la empresa corporación continental Danny E.I.R.L

Evidencias visuales de las nuevas estéticas mestizas

El presente trabajo, pretende reflexionar y evidenciar, la visualidad que ha tenido la estética de la imagen latinoamericana en su proceso de mestizaje, concentrándose en aquella identidad fragmentaria y poco codificada que se da en los espacios locales y populares. Planteo entonces una actitud que se presenta emancipada de una estética formal. Despojada de la carga que históricamente ha impuesto la “identidad” latinoamericana, se instala libre e irresponsable para crear sus íconos y definiciones. Partiendo de elementos como el barroco y el Kitsch, se plantea un repaso por algunas estéticas espontáneas, que hoy en día viven un nuevo y vigoroso empoderamiento con las facilidades que dan las nuevas tecnologías visuales. A esto se agregaría la popularización de los medios de comunicación y el uso del cyber espacio como los intensos procesos de migración que ha vivido Latinoamérica y el Ecuador.The current paper pretends to reflect and evidence the visualization that Latin American identity has had in the process of miscegenation, focusing on a fragmented and low codified identity shown in local and popular spaces. Divested of the historical load of Latin American “identity”, it is installed free and irresponsibly to create icons and definitions. It is presented as a rehearsal of some spontaneous aesthetics, which today live a new and strong empowerment process due to new visual technologies. This process added with the popularization of means of communication and the use of the cyber space as intense migration processes lived by Latin America and Ecuador. Evaluación de eficiencia en la ejecución de la infraestructura del megaproyecto Línea 2 Metro de Lima, 2022

La presente tesis titulada “Evaluación de eficiencia en la ejecución de la infraestructura del Megaproyecto Línea 2 Metro de Lima, 2022”, tiene como objetivo general evaluar el nivel de eficiencia en la ejecución de la infraestructura del Megaproyecto Línea 2 Metro de Lima, hasta abril del 2022. En cuanto a la metodología, se empleó el método hipotético-deductivo, con enfoque cuantitativo, con un diseño no experimental, trasversal del tipo descriptivo documental. Asimismo, la población materia de estudio fueron documentos relacionados al Proyecto “Línea 2 y Ramal Av. Faucett Gambetta de la Red Básica del Metro de Lima y Callao”. La investigación concluyó que la ejecución de la infraestructura del “Megaproyecto Línea 2 Metro de Lima”, hasta abril del 2022, es ineficiente por la incidencia de los indicadores de sobrecostos y sobretiempos que han impactado en el proyecto, por lo cual se propone un plan de mejora orientada a la gestión célere y oportuna en la gestión y administración del proyecto

A NEW SPERMDENSIMETER TO DETERMINE THE SPERM CONCENTRATION OF EQUINE SEMEN

This study aimed to develop a spermdensimeter for evaluating semen of stallions in a practical and efficient manner. This method is an alternative to the standard method that utilizes a Neubauer chamber under field conditions, which is typically employed because the Karras spermdensimeter model (for bovine and swine) is not suitable for determining equine semen concentrations. Two spermdensimeter models were developed. The appliances were made out of acrylic material and each one with different dimensions and angulations, called Model A and Model B. We tested 123 semen samples from stallions to evaluate and calibrate the two spermdensimeter prototypes based on the Neubauer chamber. Samples were analyzed by two evaluators. These results were compared to those obtained using the Neubauer chamber. Linear regression was used to establish the scale of concentrations for each model. Additionally, the correlation between the scales and the values found using the Neubauer chamber was calculated. Linear regression demonstrated a precise adjustment for the concentration curves, resulting in r² = 0.9395 for Model A and r² = 0.9418 for Model B. The correlations for the concentrations were significant (p < 0.0001). They were high and negatively correlated, measuring -0.83 for Model A and -0.8 for Model B. Thus, this relationship was inversely proportional. We concluded that the spermdensimeters we developed were effective for evaluating stallion sperm concentrations. These models can be used in routine practices associated with equine reproduction, achieving the main purpose of this work

El presente trabajo titulado Monografía de la naranja (citrus spp.) tomó como base para su realización la revisión bibliográfica de libros, folletos, revistas especializadas, boletines y demás documentos relacionados con el cultivo de la naranja; su desarrollo se llevó a cabo durante los meses de junio de 1994. hasta el mes de septiembre de 1995. en la Universidad del Magdalena del Distrito Turístico, Cultural e Histórico de Santa Marta. La investigación fue tipo descriptiva y explicativa con el fin de facilitar información valiosa no sólo a estudiantes y profesionales del agro, sino a productores y agricultores que deseen explotar este cultivo. El objetivo general del mismo fue describir detalladamente las condiciones técnicas de producción demás aspectos relacionados con el cultivo del naranjo (citrus spp.), como son su clasificación botánica. morfología, condiciones ecológicas para su desarrollo, las labores culturales que requiere el cultivo, las técnicas del cultivo, problemas fitosanitarios, costos gastos de producción en hectáreas por año, al igual que la mano de obra, insumos y rendimiento del cultivo

An Efficient K2CO3-Promoted Synthesis of 1-Bromo-2-aryloxyethane Derivatives and Evaluation of Larval Mortality against Aedes aegypti

The influences of reaction parameters on the etherification of phenols to obtain 1-bromo-2-aryloxyethane derivatives were evaluated. The compounds were prepared by direct etherification of phenols with 1,2-dibromoethane using anhydrous K2CO3 and acetonitrile as solvent reaction, at 80°C, in a reaction time of 6 h. Under these conditions, excellent yields (71%-94%) were obtained, with low yields of secondary products. The anhydrous K2CO3 was recycled by simple filtration, dried in vacuum, and reused. The compounds were characterized by conventional spectral data (MS and NMR). Successful Use of Lower-Level Laser Therapy in the Treatment of Medication-Related Osteonecrosis of the Jaw

Case Presentation: This study aimed to report a case of medication related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ) of a 65-year-old female patient referred to the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery team from Araçatuba Dental School, complaining about mobility of a previously dental implant placed on the posterior maxillary region. Clinical examination revealed an extensive necrosis area around the implant region. The patient reported bisphosphonate therapy with sodium alendronate for prevention of osteoporosis 5 years ago. A diagnosis of MRONJ was reached and the treatment decided was to remove the dental implant damaged and use the lower-level laser therapy (LLLT) associated with antibiotic therapy with clindamycin 300 mg and mouth rinses with chlorhexidine 0.12%.Conclusion: Six months after the treatment with LLLT a complete healing of the affected area was observed and 12 months after treatment the patient was rehabilitated with fixed dental prosthesis and showed excellent tissue healing of the necrosis areas. It was concluded that the use of LLLT showed to be a good option in the treatment of MRONJ
