This paper aims to present the origin and evolution of hospital emergency services through the Emergency Service of the Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau de Barcelona, as it is the centre that has best preserved information about its own process, its evolution as a hospital and its adaptation to social change.A very particular characteristic of this hospital is that it managed to integrate its users as part of the management board at a time when the country was in the middle of a democratic transition after forty years under a dictatorship. For the realization of this paper, we have used the qualitative methodology has been used, in particular, Heidegger's hermeneutical phenomenology, so as to triangulate documentary analysis with open interviews with relevant people about the historical process being studied, and to obtain the resulting document. A descriptive work, with a completely objective, historical account. The existence of this article cannot be explained without considering the importance of certain documentary sources that remain, so far, largely unexplored, such as the archives of the neighbourhood associations of Barcelona and the impact of social movements in achieving the creation of new health services, their maintenance and surveillance, and the promotion of their development according to the needs of each historical moment. That would be the main conclusion

The interaction between house prices and loans for house purchase : the Spanish case

Incluye bibliografía y anexosThe aim of this paper is to analyse, using a vector error-correction model (VECM), the dynamic interaction between house prices and loans for house purchase in Spain. The results show that both variables are interdependent in the long run: loans for house purchase depend positively on house prices, while house prices adjust when this credit aggregate departs from the level implied by its long-run determinants. In contrast, disequilibria in house prices are corrected only through changes in this variable. As for short-run dynamics, the results show that the two variables have a positive contemporaneous impact on each other, indicating the existence of mutally reinforcing cycles in both variables. The 43rd UID conference, held in Genova, takes up the theme of ‘Dialogues’ as practice and debate on many fundamental topics in our social life, especially in these complex and not yet resolved times. The city of Genova offers the opportunity to ponder on the value of comparison and on the possibilities for the community, naturally focused on the aspects that concern us, as professors, researchers, disseminators of knowledge, or on all the possibile meanings of the discipline of representation and its dialogue with ‘others’, which we have broadly catalogued in three macro areas: History, Semiotics, Science / Technology. Therefore, “dialogue” as a profitable exchange based on a common language, without which it is impossible to comprehend and understand one another; and the graphic sign that connotes the conference is the precise transcription of this concept: the title ‘translated’ into signs, derived from the visual alphabet designed for the visual identity of the UID since 2017. There are many topics which refer to three macro sessions: - Witnessing (signs and history) - Communicating (signs and semiotics) - Experimenting (signs and sciences) Thanks to the different points of view, an exceptional resource of our disciplinary area, we want to try to outline the prevailing theoretical-operational synergies, the collaborative lines of an instrumental nature, the recent updates of the repertoires of images that attest and nourish the relations among representation, history, semiotics, sciences

The purpose of this paper is to analyse the psychometric properties of the Physical Education-Adapted Task and Ego Orientation in Sport Questionnaire (TEOSQ) in its initial Spanish language version applied within the context of and adapted to physical education in schools. The paper aims to determine whether the Questionnaire can be considered a valid and reliable instrument in future research on physical education in Spanish schools. The questionnaire was administered to 774 Valencian secondary school students between the ages of 12 and 16 years old. The Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) supported the hypothesized theoretical model of two factors ('task orientation' and 'ego orientation') in the TEOSQ scale. The low correlation between factors showed their independence and alfa coefficients indicated the acceptable internal consistency of both subscales. T-tests indicated that males were more ego-oriented than females

This article aims to present the theoretical foundations, methodological tools and research hypotheses of the research "gender models at the university level from an intercultural perspective." This research, which is part of the European project IRSES Gendercit, aims to study from an intercultural perspective current gender models in university students in Italy, Spain and Argentina. First, we will present the theoretical position on which this research is based: the concept of gender understood from a relational and transversal approach. Moreover, we will stand out how the development of measurement tools to analyse the resistance of gender fixed models is important to increase university gender policies. Then, we present the questionnaire on gender models and the expected results from its application. To conclude, we will focus on how to understand gender as a relational concept, it means to go out from an analysis that concentrates only on numerical data and percentages. This position allows us to cover a more complex reality, and generate real tools for change, especially at higher education level

SUMMARY With the emergence of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) has required the transformation of student assessment systems based on active learning methodologies. These changes lead to a better understanding of the best practices of teachers in their daily work, as well as the dissemination of the same. One of the biggest changes has been the shift from the traditional model that has been established throughout history to the present model of college. The traditional model has been based on a passive lectures and student work, and the current model in which we operate is based on learning as a process over a lifetime job, an active and autonomous student work and the ability to solve real problems. For this new challenge posed on the teaching-learning process, the teacher should be a guideline for building knowledge and attitudes have to overcome difficulties. In the case of students, it must build roads independently, teamwork and creativity
