Parasitoids of coccoids were surveyed using malaise traps at the Golcuk Natural Park (Isparta Province), Turkey, in 2009 and 2010. More than 40 species of parasitoids were collected, with twelve being new records for Turkey, of which five, Anagyrus descriptus sp. n., A. alienus sp. n., Aschitus golcukus sp. n., Charitopus bulentyasari sp. n., and Ch. ismailkaraca sp. n. (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae), are described as new species

302 specimen belonging to 59 sawflies species were collected in North Western Georgia. Characteristic species are: Monoctenus lechkhumensis Haris & Japoshvili, 2022, Birka catellata (Konow, 1900), Eutomostethus ephippium ssp. vopiscus (Konow, 1899), Strongylogaster caucasica Schaposchnikov, 1885, Macrophya hamata ssp. caucasicola Muche, 1969, Tenthredopsis viridis Zhelochovtsev, 1941 and Calameuta grombczewskii (Jakowlew, 1891). Verticalzontal and zoogeographic distributions of sawflies were analyzed and discussed

peer reviewedAphid parasitoids have good potential for crop protection. However, they have been poorly studied in Belgium, especially in terms of species diversity. Therefore, the aim of this work was to establish the first checklist for the country. To complete the list, aphid parasitoids were sampled in wheat and pea fields near Gembloux (Belgium), in 2013 and 2014. Among the identified species, Aphelinus asychis Walker, Aphelinus daucicola Kurdjumov, Aphelinus fusciscapus (Förster), Aphidius asteris Haliday, Aphidius eadyi Starý, Gonzalez & Hall, Praon barbatum Mackauer, and Trioxys auctus (Haliday) were recorded for the first time in Belgium. Thirty-two Aphidiinae and seven Aphelinus species were included in the checklist. It is hoped this study will stimulate further research, as species diversity is still low compared with neighbouring countries

The study of the family Encyrtidae at the Natural History Museum of Oslo continues. Sixteen species are reported for the first time from Norway in this revision, bringing the total number of Norwegian encyrtids up to 123. Comments on the biology and distribution for these species are given. The three species Bothriothorax cyaneus Nikol’skaya, 1952, Ooencyrtus acastus Trjapitzin, 1967 and Trjapitzinellus arboricola Myartseva, 1980 are reported for the first time from Europe. The aim of this study is to highlight the distribution of the family in Norway and to provide a complete list of the Norwegian species. Posted here with permission from the journal.
