Retrospective and Prospective Analysis on Educational Leadership: Indicators of Productivity, Dispersion, and Content
This article analyzes the production, performance, impact, and content
of scientific documents contained in an internationally recognized
database, the Web of Science, that consider educational leadership (EL)
thesaurus (title, abstract and/or keywords). To this end, a scientometric
study was performed on a sample of 2,181 research documents that met
the established inclusion criteria. A co-word analysis was also
performed using Hirsch’s index (2005), as well as several bibliometric
indicators, impact factors, and citation indices (h, g, hg, and q2). The
main findings indicate that production on the topic of EL dates back to
1924, although it did not reach a significant level until 2004. Several
important points related to the production profile on EL are
highlighted: language, area of knowledge and institutions, and authors
specializing in the subject. There are several lines of study open in the
established periods, and the subjects that should be taken into account
in the future are “critical-race-theory,” “identity,” and “distributedleadership.”
The implications and limitations of the study are
discussed and ways for education leaders to address new education
policies and their practical implications are provided.Ministry of Universities of the Government of SpainEuropean Commissio

Three volcanogenic massive sulphide deposits of the Iberian Pyrite Belt are considered. Masa Valverde, Aguas Tefiidas and LomeroPoyatos. By means of the mineralogy and the geochemistry distributions of the rare earth elements (REE), three typologies of mineralizations are described in each orebody. The typologies are distingued by their average contents of R.E.E., their anomalies of Eu and their relations between the lightest rare earth terms and the heavy ones. Measurement of disparities between indicators associated with the welfare in Least Developed Countries (LDCs) of Asia
parciales.___________________________________________Measuring factors that affect countries’ social welfare is a complex task,
especially in the case of the Least Developed Countries. Despite this difficulty,
important advances have been made, though many more remain to be made
in the search for procedures that will enrich these analyses.
In this article we present a new proposal for the measurement of disparities
between indicators of social welfare, applied to a group of countries especially
affected by poverty: the Least Developed Countries (LDCs) which in the
terminology of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development
(UNCTAD) are the poorest of the poor. In our analysis we will refer to the Asian
continent.
Our index is novel in that it has been constructed taking into account a
larger number of variables than the welfare indices most usually used, and the
criteria defined in the Goals of the Millennium Declaration, which are generally
considered to determine countries’ levels of underdevelopment .
As technique applied to the data, provided by the UN and listed in the
Annual Report of the LDCs for 2007, the latest year for which definitive data
were available, we have used the P2 distance method. This index integrates
socio-economic variables that permit a ranking of the LDCs of Asia, in terms of
those partial indicators
Open Innovation: Organizational Challenges of a New Paradigm of Innovation Management
The goal of this paper is to analyze the main problems that emerge from the open innovation model. Adopting as analytical framework an organizational perspective we divide the main challenges that arise from the management of open innovation in two main categories: coordination problems as a result of open the innovation system to ideas and knowledge that may lie outside the boundaries of the firm and, incentive problems related with the creation and value capture of ideas an knowledge by the innovator. We describe and analyze several problems related with coordination and incentives.Open Innovation, Coordination, Incentives, Intellectual Property
The aim of this paper is to give information about the dates obtained in the polinic anal ysis proceeding from the excavations of three archaeological sites, of the Nord-Iberian upland, with a chronology of the Earlier Bronze Age: El Picuezo (Sotalvo, Ávila), El Parpantique (Balluncar, Soria) y Pico Romero (Santa Cruz de la Salceda, Burgos). Obviously the number of archaeopalinological sequences is short, but, almost, has permitted to begin to interpret the reconstruction of the palaeoenvironment and the palaeoeconomy of this period in Nord Upland. This paper is an example of the research inspired in the principles of landscape archaeology
Tesi
Nowcasting solar radiation using cloud satellite and high resolution numerical model outputs
Póster presentado en: EMS Annual Meeting: European Conference for Applied Meteorology and Climatology
celebrado del 4–8 de septiembre de 2017 en Dublin, IrelandAEMET (the Spanish Meteorological Agency) is currently developing a project for the Spanish transmission system
operator, Red Eléctrica de España, to improve hourly Global Horizontal Irradiance (GHI) and direct Normal
Irradiance (DNI) forecasts in Spanish solar power plants. Nowcasting is a technique for very short-range forecasting
(normally within 6h ahead) covering only a very specific geographic region. There is a need of using
nowcasting models to forecast the availability of solar radiation in order to low electricity generating costs. We
present the current status of a nowcasting tool developed by AEMET that provides every 15 min the hourly solar
radiation accumulated fluxes for the coming 4 hours. The meteorological data used for this model are: satellite
cloud type observations and forecasts based on high resolution winds (EUMETSAT SAFNWC/MSG software
package outputs), radiation from high resolution numerical weather prediction model (HARMONIE/AROME radiation
outputs) or a combination of both sources of information depending on different forecast time horizons.
The accuracy of the tool has been analyzed comparing the GHI and DNI forecasts with the ground solar radiation
measurements from seven stations of AEMET network. The verification results in terms of RMSE are similar to
those found in the bibliography, with the advantage that the satellite component of the tool does not require the use
of a model to convert satellite imagery to average insolation on the groun
