In this paper we are going to consider that the social and migratory policies imposed by the Empire
of Carlos I had an enormous impact on the concrete and local reality of the Kingdom of Jaén
during the period 1,500 to 1,550, and also that these were based on the proposals of peace and
unity of Erasmus of Rotterdam for Europe.
We set ourselves, among other objectives, to specify the impact of the social and migratory
policies imposed by Carlos I in the Kingdom of Jaén during the first half of the 16th century.
Hence, the object of study, in a second moment, would be determined by determining both the
foreign and domestic policy proposed by Carlos I, through the analysis of migrant data, the
description of the most relevant events and the analysis of the significance of these policies in this
a specific area such as the Kingdom of Jaén.Tesis Univ.
This paper suggests to begin the analysis of Clara Janés’ literary discourse in Kamasutra para dormir a un espectro (2019). Due to the diversity of references and literary materials under the text, it is possible to promote a kind of analysis focussed on the relation between the core theme of the book —that is to say, the search of knowledge— and the multiple variations on it. To sum up, the main aim of this paper is to highlight the hybridization between science, philosophy, mystics, poetry and other arts —music most of all— in this work by Clara Janés.
This work tries to analyze the dialogue between “Trilce”, a canonical “avant-garde” book in the Spanish language, and “Los salmos fosforitos” by Berta García Faet, one of the most succesful books in the current Spanish poetry. After a short introduction on each work, the poetics of both César Vallejo and Berta García Faet come to a comparative through the poem number XIII of each book, in order to verify the validity of a radical and ground-breaking attitud toward the lenguage since the publication of Vallejo's text, a century ago
Expert Knowledge as Basis for Assessing an Automatic Matching Procedure
Licencia CC BY-4.0The continuous development of machine learning procedures and the development of new ways of mapping based on the integration of spatial data from heterogeneous sources have resulted in the automation of many processes associated with cartographic production such as positional accuracy assessment (PAA). The automation of the PAA of spatial data is based on automated matching procedures between corresponding spatial objects (usually building polygons) from two geospatial databases (GDB), which in turn are related to the quantification of the similarity between these objects. Therefore, assessing the capabilities of these automated matching procedures is key to making automation a fully operational solution in PAA processes. The present study has been developed in response to the need to explore the scope of these capabilities by means of a comparison with human capabilities. Thus, using a genetic algorithm (GA) and a group of human experts, two experiments have been carried out: (i) to compare the similarity values between building polygons assigned by both and (ii) to compare the matching procedure developed in both cases. The results obtained showed that the GA—experts agreement was very high, with a mean agreement percentage of 93.3% (for the experiment 1) and 98.8% (for the experiment 2). These results confirm the capability of the machine-based procedures, and specifically of GAs, to carry out matching tasks

Abstract
Point-based standard methodologies (PBSM) suggest using ‘at least 20’ check points in order to assess the positional accuracy of a certain spatial dataset. However, the reason for decreasing the number of checkpoints to 20 is not elaborated upon in the original documents provided by the mapping agencies which develop these methodologies. By means of theoretical analysis and experimental tests, several authors and studies have demonstrated that this limited number of points is clearly insufficient. Using the point-based methodology for the automatic positional accuracy assessment of spatial data developed in our previous study Ruiz-Lendínez, et al (2017) and specifically, a subset of check points obtained from the application of this methodology to two urban spatial datasets, the variability of National Standard for Spatial Data Accuracy (NSSDA) estimations has been analyzed according to sample size. The results show that the variability of NSSDA estimations decreases when the number of check points increases, and also that these estimations have a tendency to underestimate accuracy. Finally, the graphical representation of the results can be employed in order to give some guidance on the recommended sample size when PBSMs are used. This research was funded by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Spain, Grant number CAS18/00024 (“José Castillejo” Mobility Support for Stay Abroad Program)

Increase in self-efficacy in prospective teachers through theory-based lesson study
This paper explores the education of prospective teachers with regard to the Theory of Didactical Situations when they engage in lesson study. We particularly focus on studying how a lesson study process oriented towards the Theory of Didactical Situations contributes to increasing prospective teachers’ self-efficacy to plan and teach lessons based on such theory, reducing the gap between theory and practice. Prior to the study, we will discuss how the theoretical postulates assumed in lesson study affect crucial aspects of the process. The study is implemented with 47 prospective early childhood education teachers. We also consider another group of 47 prospective teachers that were engaged in practicum at the time the lesson study process took place. Using a quasi-experimental methodology based on a questionnaire developed ad hoc that captures the particularities of the didactic paradigm assumed, the results of our study show that both lesson study and practicum lead to a statistically significant increase in future teachers’ self-efficacy to plan and teach lessons in line with the paradigm assumed. However, size effect measures show that the increase observed in the lesson study group is significantly higher, which supports the benefits
of lesson study in initial teacher education. We discuss what the features of lesson study are that could be related to this increase. Finally, we sketch new lines of research connected with the benefits of lesson study versus other teacher education experiences like practicum, as well as with links between self-efficacy and knowledge growth in lesson study.Contrato predoctoral FPU14/06496, Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte. Public administration education towards Sustainable Development Goals: psychometric analysis of a scale
Purpose: The objective of this research is to adapt and validate a useful instrument to diagnose the Knowledge, Attitudes, Behaviours, and Intention to Participate (KABIP) toward Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in higher education institutions from the public administration in developing countries.
Design/methodology/approach: The study was carried out using the Delphi technique, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The selected sample was composed of 790 students. The instrument items were extracted from relevant scales on the topic.
Findings: After validation with EFA, the structure was checked, and the model was later corroborated with CFA through structural equations (RMSEA = 0.041; CFI = 0.779; TLI = 0.764). The reliability and internal consistency of the instrument were also tested, with values for all dimensions being higher than 0.8
Originality/value: It is concluded that this new questionnaire has 66 items and 4 dimensions. It has an acceptable validity and reliability, and can be used to diagnose Knowledge, Attitudes, Behaviours and Intention to Participate (KABIP) towards SDG at higher education institutions in developing countries
