This research analyzed the contribution of the Master of Coaching and Organizational Change (MCCO) in the transfer of Transversal or Generic Competences (CGT) to graduates of the career and the influence of its application in work environment. The CGT are a set of skills, abilities, attitudes and skills that complement the specific educational process, characteristics that were identified and highlighted in the European Area of Higher Education and developed in the Tuning Project and Alfa Tuning for Latin America and Caribbean with the participation of numerous educational organizations. The results of this research showed a significant correlation between the CGT and the contents of the subjects of the MCCO, with a clear benefit on work environments, according to case studies taken from the Final Works MCCO. In particular, it could be established that 85% of the CGT are addressed by the subjects of the MCCO, and that 61% of them were transferred and applied in organizations of work described in these Final Master Work. Regarding the benefits obtained under the pyramid domains of the Organizational Coaching, could be demonstrated that 36% were the domain of “Being” according to the category of “Learning and Organizational Development”, 36% of the profits corresponded the domain of “Make” according to the category of “Internal Processes” and finally, 28% was distributed in the categories of “Client / Consumer” and “Economic/ Financial”, which corresponds to the domain of “Having” / “Results”, respectively.

The Tuning and Alfa Tuning Project for Latin America helped to identify, since year 2000, a set of competences, skills, attitudes and responsibilities, in order to complement the specific, rational and technical educational process, around the Generic or Transversal Competences (CGT) concept. The Master’s degree in Coaching and Organizational Change (MCCO) included the CGTconcept in their studies program, looking forward benefits in the management and effectivenessof the organizations. The scope of this research was to analyze the contribution of the MCCO in CGT’s learning, andthe influence generated by their application in job environments.Advances in the research have shown a significant correlation between the CGT and the MCCOcurricula. The analysis was done through a set of descriptors for each CGT, using their definitionsand their domain levels, with the purpose of relating them with MCCO´s study programs. Afterthat, it was built an Impact Matrix to evaluate the relationship between purpose and objectives ofeach MCCO subject, with each CGT, to understand MCCO and CGT contribution. The impactvalue was performed using a pertinence table, and divergences were agreed and included in thereport. The distribution of impacts helped to distinguish the specific competences with regard toCGT; also to establish an order of priority according to the contribution of CGT to educationalbackground, and to identify the most developed CGT in the MCCO program. For the last stage, theresearch will explore the influence of the CGT in working environments, taking in account casesfrom Final Thesis of students in the MCCO

AIM: To assess the quality of referral letters to a facial pain service and highlight the key requirements of such letters. METHOD: The source of all referral letters to the service for five years was established. For one year the information provided in 94 referrals was assessed. Using a predetermined checklist of essential information the referral letters were compared to these set criteria. RESULTS: The service received 7,001 referrals and, on average, general dental practitioners (GDPs) referred 303 more patients per year than general medical practitioners (GMPs). Seventy-one percent of all referrals were from primary care practitioners, the rest were from specialists. Over 70% of GMP and 52% of GDP letters included a past medical history, with GMPs more likely to suggest a possible diagnosis and include previous secondary care referrals. The mean score for GMP referrals compared to the standard proforma (maximum of 12) was 5.6 and for GDP referrals 5.0. A relevant drug history was included by 75.6% GMP compared to 38.7% of GDPs. GMPs were more likely to include any relevant mental health history. CONCLUSIONS: The overall quality of referral letters is low which makes it difficult for the specialists to provide robust treatment plans

© The Author(s) 2020. Objectives. CTD and systemic vasculitis impact on health-related quality of life. Treatment can be complex, involving multiple medical specialities. The aim of this study was to investigate psychological and self-management support for patients in secondary care. Methods. An online survey of health professionals in the UK, including 45 multiple-choice and freetext questions, was analysed descriptively. Free-text survey responses were analysed thematically to identify health professionals' perceptions of best practice and unmet needs. Results. The online survey included 120 health professionals (34% specialist nurses, 51% doctors and 12% allied health professionals), predominantly working in rheumatology (52.9%) and nephrology (21.5%) departments. Access to self-management programmes or clinics for people with CTD or vasculitis was available in 23% of rheumatology and 8% of nephrology departments. In response to 'How well is your team providing self-management support to people with CTD or vasculitis?', 38% of respondents reported 'not very well' or 'not well at all'. Direct access to psychological support was available in 76.9% of nephrology and 32.8% of rheumatology departments. More than 80% of respondents would like additional training. Key themes from the qualitative data (free-text survey responses) included the importance of: Dedicated psychological support and self-management programmes for people with CTD and vasculitis, a whole-team approach (specialist teams empowering people to manage their own care), staff training (e.g. brief psychological interventions) and signposting to resources, including patient charities. Conclusion. People with CTD and vasculitis have complex needs, and improvements in selfmanagement and psychological support are required in UK rheumatology and nephrology departments

Private Narratives and Infant Views: Iconizing 1970s Militancy in Contemporary Argentine Cinema

This is the author's accepted manuscript, made available with the permission of the publisher. This article analyses the connections between the subjective turn in the representation of militancy, iconicity, and historical examination in Infancia clandestina, a recent Argentine film that portrays the 1970s armed struggle through a child’s lens. Breaking with the leading interpretation that praises the movie because of its original exposition of left-leaning violence, I contend that this coming-of-age story fits within a version of militancy that originated in the mid-1990s and that has become quite common since the advent of the Kirchner administration in 2003. This particular version relies on a privatized and archaic image of activism that is at the core of the global iconization of 1970s militancy. An analysis of the filmic use of an infant perspective and of anime-style cartoons illuminates how contemporary Argentine cinema both registers and participates in this iconizing process
