L'horta marginal : el cas de Ripollet (Vallès Occidental)

Le phenomène des potagers marginaux qui se développe aux alentours de la grande ville, sur des terrains expropriés ou aux bords ou dans le lit d'une rivière, apparut d'une façon minoritaire en 1971 et s'intensifia a partir de 1975 avec la crise industrielle de notre pays. Ces potagers marginaux ont beaucoup d'incidence sur l'activité économique et l'emploi du temps libre d'un nombre considérable de personnes. Ils sont en même temps le résultat du développement économique de la Catalogne, qui a attiré un grand nombre d'immigrés. La crise provoca la perte de nombreux emplois, la réduction d'investissements et, à cause de ça, la population en situation précaire a cherché des alternatives pour survivre.The phenomenon of the marginal kitchen gardens that develops in the suburbs of big cities, on expropriated lands or in the river-beds, appeared -in a minoritary form- in 1971 and intensified from 1975 on, with the spread of the industrial crisis of the country. Those marginal kitchen gardens have a strong impact in the economic activity and the employment of free time of a great deal of the population. They are also the result of the economic development of Catalonia, which attracted an important bulk of immigrants. La Formació permanent del professorat centrada en la institució educativa

The training program is developed according to the characteristics of each center and its teaching staff and allows for the participants to take part in its design as well as promoting self-training. Its application favors the professional development of the staff and the center through teamwork, the promotion of procedures of applied research and contrast of experiencies, linking theoretical knowledge to practical experience with the objective of providing solutions to controversial situations and needs arising within the teaching environment. Its consolitation and ongoing development will allow for the emergence of innovative procedures and changes within the Educational System

Analítica web: análisis de datos en un sitio web

Este trabajo de Fin de Grado se presenta para la obtención del título de Grado en Marketing e Investigación de Mercados por la Universidad de Valladolid. El trabajo se titula “analítica web: análisis de datos en un sitio web” y está estructurado en tres partes. En la primera de ellas se realizará una revisión acerca del marketing digital y la analítica web. La segunda parte del trabajo se centrará en explicar dos herramientas usadas para el análisis web: Google Analytics 4 y Statcounter. L'intraducibilità di Benni in “Bar Sport”

Trabajo de fin de Grado. Grado en Estudios Italianos. Curso académico 2022-2023Este trabajo tiene como objetivo la puesta en evidencia y posterior reflexión de los conflictos que surgen dentro de la traducción del género humorístico del italiano al español —a través de varios procedimientos de traducción— y de las soluciones adoptadas. Tomaremos como referencia fragmentos problemáticos —y en ocasiones intraducibles— de una de las obras más famosas de Stefano Benni, Bar Sport, considerada un clásico de la narrativa humorística italiana y en el que se describen al detalle rasgos propios de la sociedad italiana de los años 70. Estas características están marcadas por fuertes referentes culturales que normalmente resultan difíciles de trasladar de una lengua a otra, de ahí la complejidad del mismo.The aim of this paper is to highlight and then reflect on the conflicts that arise in the translation of the humorous genre from Italian into Spanish —through various translation procedures— and the solutions adopted. We will take as a reference problematic —and sometimes untranslatable— fragments in one of Stefano Benni’s most famous works, Bar Sport, considered a classic of Italian humorous narrative and in which features of Italian society in the 1970s are described in detail. These characteristics are marked by strong cultural references that are usually difficult to transfer from one language to another, hence the complexity of the work

We read with great interest the article by González et al (1) supporting the use of highlyimmersive virtual reality (VR)simulationfor anatomy learning. The results of their systematicreview highlighted a positive reception of the VR experienceby students, with an increase inenjoyment and attention, and at least the same effectiveness for learning when compared totraditional cadaveric methods. They also highlighted VR technology canbecome a long-terminvestment that reduces costs.These findings are in line with the results of other systematic reviewsindicating that immersive VR for education was easy to use, facilitated learning of content (2), andincreased cognitive and psychomotor performance

Expresión de una hemoglobina heteróloga en Escherichia coli PTS⁻GalP⁺ para mejorar su desempeño bajo condiciones limitantes de oxígeno disuelto

Los cultivos de alta densidad celular (CADC) son una de las estrategias más utilizadas para la producción de biomoléculas por Escherichia coli. Anteriormente, ha sido demostrado que una cepa de E. coli modificada en su sistema de transporte de sustrato es capaz de lograr alta densidad celular cuando es cultivada en modo lote, presentando una disminución importante en el sobreflujo metabólico. Utilizar concentraciones elevadas de glucosa elimina el problema de gradientes de sustrato y de heterogeneidad en el medio. Sin embargo se requieren grandes cantidades de oxígeno para metabolizar dicho sustrato, ocasionando condiciones microaerobias después de algunas horas de cultivo. En este trabajo se analizó el efecto que la expresión del gene vgb que codifica para la hemoglobina VHb (proveniente de la bacteria Vitreoscilla stercoraria) produce en una cepa de E. coli con el sistema PTS (sistema natural encargado de transportar la glucosa al interior de la célula) inactivado y con el sistema GalP sobreexpresado en cultivos en modo lote con elevadas concentraciones de glucosa. En condiciones de cultivo completamente aerobias (con 10 g/L de glucosa) la presencia de la hemoglobina VHb presentó mayores ventajas para la cepa nativa, la cual presenta cantidades similares de biomasa, rendimiento y velocidad específica de crecimiento a las registradas para la cepa con el sistema de transporte modificado y con expresión de vgb, pero presenta una disminución importante en el sobreflujo metabólico. En cultivos en modo lote con 25 g/L de glucosa, la combinación de la expresión de vgb y la modificación en el sistema de transporte de sustrato dio como resultado un aumento del 33% en la producción de biomasa en comparación con la cepa nativa (W3110) sin hemoglobina. The Peculiar Photometric Properties of 2010 WG9: A Slowly-Rotating Trans-Neptunian Object from the Oort Cloud

We present long-term BVRI observations of 2010 WG9, an ~100-km diameter trans-Neptunian object (TNO) with an extremely high inclination of 70 deg discovered by the La Silla - QUEST southern sky survey. Most of the observations were obtained with ANDICAM on the SMARTS 1.3m at Cerro Tololo, Chile from Dec 2010 to Nov 2012. Additional observations were made with EFOSC2 on the 3.5-m NTT telescope of the European Southern Observatory at La Silla, Chile in Feb 2011. The observations reveal a sinusoidal light curve with amplitude 0.14 mag and period 5.4955 +/- 0.0025d, which is likely half the true rotation period. Such long rotation periods have previously been observed only for tidally-evolved binary TNOs, suggesting that 2010 WG9 may be such a system. We predict a nominal separation of at least 790 km, resolvable with HST and ground-based systems. We measure B-R = 1.318 +/- 0.029 and V-R = 0.520 +/- 0.018, consistent with the colors of modestly red Centaurs and Damocloids. At I-band wavelengths, we observe an unusually large variation of color with rotational phase, with R-I ranging from 0.394 +/- 0.025 to 0.571 +/- 0.044. We also measure an absolute R-band absolute magnitude of 7.93 +/- 0.05 and solar phase coefficient 0.049 +/- 0.019 mag/deg.Comment: 17 pages, 5 figure

A survey on the structure, organization, and functions of medical information departments in the pharmaceutical industry in Spain

The medical information (MI) function within the pharmaceutical industry plays a significant role in the provision of scientific answers for patients and healthcare professionals. The purpose of this study is to identify the current structure, organization, and functions of MI departments in Spain. Sixty local and international pharmaceutical companies based in Spain were invited to participate in this study between May and July 2019. An online 34–item questionnaire developed by the AMIFE MI Working Group was distributed to the companies. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistics using response frequencies. A total of 44 responses from 60 surveys (73%) were received. More than half of the respondents were employed in international companies based in Europe (57%, n = 25). Seventy-one percent (n = 31) of the companies had 100 to 1,000 employees in Spain. Most respondents declared that they had an MI department in their company (73%, n = 32), with most (53%) having two to five employees working on MI. Most MI (n = 50) specialists had a biomedical academic degree (predominantly pharmacy, biology, and medicine). MI departments were involved in many functions, the most common being answering enquiries (100%), handling drug information requests (97%), preparing written responses (94%), and literature services for external use (77%). The mean annual volume of MI enquiries was 2,301 (median 1,100). The results of this survey contribute to a better understanding of MI departments in Spanish pharmaceutical companies, as well as their functions and responsibilities, and could help identify opportunities and areas for improvement
