Analisis Kesulitan Belajar Mahasiswa pada Mata Kuliah Kalkulus Peubah Banyak Di STKIP PGRI Pasuruan
This research aims to describe learning difficulty and the factors causing of calculus multivariate difficulty in STKIP PGRI Pasuruan based on Taksonomi Bloom C1 till C4. The data are collected by using purposive sampling and obtained from written test, interview, questionnaire, and observation. The result showed that the highest grade of learning difficulties are application (C3) and analysis (C4) with an average 84% while there are 7 factors such as health, fatigue, lecturer interaction, learning instrument, media, calculus multivariate course, and motivation.Keywords: Learning difficulties, calculus multivariat
Pollutant And Sedimentation Dispersion Pattern In The Confluence Of Two Rivers
In addition to river water pollution caused by human activity and industrial activity, also due to
influence of natural activities such as volcanic activity that has volcanic ash and cold lava cause river
pollution in river water at the same deposition. Besides of community activities Surabaya living along the
Brantas River flow contributes to making soil erosion along the river, pollution and deposition also occurs
due to discharge of industrial waste or household waste. This was strengthened with the data from the
Ministry of Environment, Sindo’s magazine on Nopember 7th 2013, "The total number of industries in
East Java that has the potential to pollute the river there are about 1,004 industries, of that number as
many as 483 industries located along the Watershed (DAS) Brantas river Surabaya and capacity pollution
load 35 tons of organic waste a day, but the fact more than 70 tons of organic waste a day ". It becomes
negative news for the citizens of Surabaya so that the public and the government of Surabaya more
careful in taking precaution because almost 96% of the water supply Surabaya Kali is a tributary of the
Brantas river used to PDAM Surabaya, so according to its function, the water must be maintained the
quality of the water and do monitoring in order to remain decent for use. In this research focuses on the
modeling of pollutant dispersion and sedimentation patterns in the confluence of two rivers by combining
elements of hydrodynamics using Finite Volume Method QUICK scheme (upwind Quadratic
Interpolation Convective Kinematics) so that the results of this research are expected to helping the
parties involved in maintaining the quality of the Brantas River Surabaya to remain fit for consumption
and reduce silting of the river
Model Aljabar Max Plus dan Petri Net Pada Sistem Pelayanan Pendaftaran Ujian Akhir Semester
Bagian administrasi akademik langsung berhubungan dengan mahasiswa sehingga layanan akademik di STKIP PGRI Pasuruan perlu mendapatkan perhatian yang lebih guna untuk mewujudkan tingkat kepuasan yang optimal bagi mahasiswa. Namun hal ini kontradiktif dengan masih banyaknya mahasiswa STKIP PGRI Pasuruan yang bingung pada alur system pelayanan pendaftaran ujian akhir semester baik dari system pembayaran, sistem online, verifikasi data ke BAU dan BAAK terutama pada mahasiswa baru yang dikarenakan system pendaftarannya berbeda dengan mahasiswa angkatan lama. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah diperoleh estimasi waktu dan hasil analisis jadwal menggunakan pendekatan aljabar Max Plus dari alur Petri Net pada pelayanan pendaftaran ujian akhir semester di STKIP PGRI Pasuruan menggunakan aljabarMax Plus. DESAIN PETRI NET DAN ALJABAR MAX-PLUS PADA SISTEM PRODUKSI SOYGHURT SUSU BERKAH
Pembuatan soyghurt masih tergolong baru yang dikembangkan oleh beberapa orang di Indonesia sehingga masih terdapat kendala pada sistem produksinya yaitu kendala estimasi waktu proses produksi dari awal hingga akhir dan ketika produksi dilakukan berulang kali. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh desain dari alur Petri Net yang dibuat dapat ditentukan nilai estimasi waktu pada sistem produksi soyghurt menggunakan Aljabar Max-Plus sehingga pemilik usaha dapat mengoptimalkan jumlah produksi berdasarkan waktu estimasi tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain Petri Net yang dibuat tidak mengalami deadlock atau liveness, dan diperoleh estimasi waktu jika produksi dimulai pukul 06.00 maka selesai produksi yaitu 00.10
Misconception Analysis of Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) Numeration of High School Students from Field Dependent Cognitive Style
The purpose of this study was to describe the extent of misunderstandings experienced by high school students while tackling Minimum Numerical Ability (AKM) questions modeled on the basis of domain-dependent cognitive styles. The number of students used as subjects in the study was her XI-IPS students in class three (3). The study was conducted at Tawangsari, Tulungagung District, Kedungwal, MA Darul Hikma, Tulungagung District, Jl KH Abu Mansur I. The study was conducted in even-numbered terms of the academic year 2021-2022. A targeted sampling method with the GEFT test (Group Embedded Figure Test) is used to determine research topics and classify students as having subject-dependent cognitive styles or not (subject-dependent). The results showed that students were categorized based on their AKM numbering test response results of low, medium, and high misconceptions. The number of questions is 3 questions. The first item is used to make sure that the indicator cannot repeat the concept. The second item is used to determine that the indicator fails to formulate the concept correctly in various mathematical representations. The index cannot determine the formula that answers the question. Indicators cannot apply formulas or algorithms to solve problems. The third item is used to see indicators of inability to use formulas or problem-solving algorithms. The results obtained show that subject-specific style students with low misunderstandings score higher from responses to AKM numbering questions than students with moderate and high misunderstandings
Penyuluhan Pentingnya Pendidikan Tinggi Melalui Kegiatan Kerja Bakti di Kelurahan Kepel
Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kehidupan manusia adalah kualitas lingkungan yang mereka tempati. Kualitas lingkungan ini dapat berpengaruh pada kesehatan manusia. Salah satu faktor yang berperan penting akan kesadaran hidup sehat dan bersih di lingkungan masyarakat adalah pendidikan. Pendidikan merupakan hal penting bagi semua kalangan. Melalui pendidikan setiap individu dapat mengembangkan keterampilan dan pengetahuanyang telah dimilikinya. Semakin tinggi pendidikan seseorang maka semakin tinggi pula perilaku terhadap pemeliharaan kebersihan lingkungan. Selanjutnya, masalah yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat Kelurahan Kepel, terutama masyarakat RW 03 adalah minimnya informasi mengenai pentingnya pendidikan tinggi. Dengan adanya masalah ini, kami selaku kelompok KKN Universitas PGRI WIRANEGARA menggunakan metode sosialisasi untuk masyarakat Kelurahan Kepel terutama masyarakat RW 03. Adapun tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terutama anggota PKK RW 03 Kelurahan Kepel terhadap pentingnya kebutuhan pendidikan tinggi untuk masa yang akan datang. Adapun hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah terciptanya pot bunga hias dari botol bekas danmeningkatnya minat masyarakat RW 03 untuk mempersiapkan pendidikan tinggi bagi putra-putri mereka untuk kedepannya
“Who Am I”: The Role of Character Strength in Self-Awareness Emerging Adulthood
Previous research shows that self-awareness is important for emerging adulthood. Individual knowledge of himself is required, specifically the strength of his character, to increase self-awareness. For this reason, this research shows the role of emerging adulthood character strengths on self-awareness. The research was carried out using a non-experimental quantitative approach with a research design in the form of a survey. Sampling was done using simple random sampling. The measuring instruments used are the Indonesian version of character strength developed by the VIA Institute via the viacharacter.org page formulated by Peterson & Seligman (2004) and the Self-Awareness Outcomes Questionnaire (SAOQ) created by Sutton (2016), which researchers adapted. These two measuring instruments have been proven to be valid and reliable in measuring the selected variables. Data collection was carried out using Google Forms, and a total of 142 participants were used for hypothesis testing. Hypothesis testing using a simple linear regression test shows that character strength plays a significant role in predicting emerging adulthood self-awareness with a predictive power of 64 per cent, and the direction of the relationship between the two is in the same direction. This means that the higher the strength of character, the greater the self-awareness. Thus, it is known that the true potential of emerging adulthood can be maximized if individuals are aware of their character strengths. KONSENTRASI BUNUH MINIMAL EKSTRAK BIJI PEPAYA (Carica papaya Linn. var. Bangkok) TERHADAP Streptococcus viridans
Latar belakang: Streptococcus viridans adalah bakteri yang paling banyak
ditemukan pada infeksi saluran akar. Tindakan irigasi merupakan salah satu kunci
sukses perawatan saluran akar. Bahan irigasi saluran akar yang banyak digunakan
adalah sodium hipoklorit (NaOCl). Bahan tersebut mempunyai pH basa yang
bersifat toksik pada jaringan sekitar dan sifat antibakteri yang rendah. Sodium
hipoklorit juga mempunyai tegangan permukaan tinggi sehingga tidak dapat
membersihkan smear layer dengan baik. Biji pepaya mempunyai kandungan
alkaloid, flavonoid, tanin, saponin, dan enzim papain. Bahan aktif dalam biji
pepaya ersebut bersifat antibakteri sehingga diharapkan dapat membunuh bakteri
Streptococcus viridans. Tujuan: Mengetahui konsentrasi bunuh minimal (KBM)
ekstrak biji pepaya terhadap bakteri Streptococcus viridans. Metode: Penelitian ini
adalah eksperimental laboratoris. Biji pepaya diekstraksi dengan etanol 96%
dengan metode maserasi dan diencerkan menjadi beberapa konsentrasi (100%, 50%,
25%, 12,5%, 6,12%, 3,12%, 1,56%, dan 0,78%). Nilai KBM diketahui dengan
menghitung jumlah koloni bakteri pada media nutrient agar secara manual dengan
satuan Colony Forming Unit/ml (CFU/ml). Data dianalisis secara statistik dengan
uji One way ANOVA dan Tukey HSD. Hasil: Pada ekstrak biji pepaya 1,56% mulai
ditemukan hambatan pertumbuhan bakteri Streptococcus viridans, sedangkan pada
ekstrak biji pepaya 3,12% sudah tidak ditemukan pertumbuhan bakteri
Streptococcus viridans. Hasil uji One way ANOVA didapatkan perbedaan yang
signifikan pertumbuhan bakteri Streptococcus viridans pada kelompok sampel
setelah pemberian ekstrak biji pepaya. Simpulan: Konsentrasi bunuh minimal
ekstrak biji pepaya (Carica papaya Linn. var. Bangkok) terhadap bakteri
Streptococcus viridans adalah sebesar 3,12%
21st Century Mathematics Learning Challenges: Bibliometric Analysis of Trends and Best Practices in Shinta Indexed Scientific Publications
This study aims to find out the issues or problems that become the direction and trends of mathematics education research as an effort made by teachers in responding to challenges in 21st-century learning. The writing in this study uses a literature study by utilizing scientific journals published by the Creative Mathematics Journal- Innovative (KREANO) from 2016 to 2021 by involving a total of 156 scientific journal items. The theme of last year's study was dominated by the process of mathematical thinking skills with a focus on secondary education students as research subjects. Currently, the research theme of mathematics education is studying with a focus on developing media or making a product and learning device as well as designing a project-based learning model with a subject focus on prospective teachers and students of secondary education as research subjects. Future research in mathematics education will also examine mathematical thinking skills by creating technology-assisted learning in an open, flexible project-based learning environment so that students can collaborate in developing their potential.
